Hey y'all! IDK if any of you guys were following my Umbrella Academy fic, Don't Fear the Reaper, but after like four years it has been.... drumroll please..... UPDATED!!!

A pitch, for anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about but might be interested:

DFTR is a Klaus-centric Klaus!whump canon-divergence fic that diverges from canon at the very end of S1. It involves Academy shenanigans, Commission bureaucracy, me cherry-picking things I like from later seasons, more plot than I can really handle, and an in-depth exploration of the true consequences of the Seance's spooky spectral powers--assuming, of course, he reaches his true potential, as was hinted at by their dear old daddy.

This fic is crazy good, super tasty, super crunchy. Sunhinged's still my favorite Sun flavor this will never ever change. Gosh I LOVE that we get to choose what happens next it's such a great concept for a fic! Man some scenes really beamed fanart ideas right into my brain, it's so immersive wth.

I'm also glad that this is a community poll cuz i'm pretty good at making bad decisions. Not gonna let that stop me from tanking the votes though :)

Actually, I never understood dftr! Sun's behavior…

I thought about it for a long time…

From my understanding of the Grim Reaper, the Grim Reaper exists to warn people to cherish life, and the summer camp members' past actions were extremely bad, and their crimes were enough to punish them.

Sun's character is actually full of pessimism. After seeing that justice in the world cannot be upheld and seeing the tragedy happen again, he chose to let despair permeate himself and become the Grim Reaper to judge the sins of others…
