(Doctor Who) Summary:
Prompt:
Tagged canon divergence because I want to see the end of the Defiers of Fate abyssal war epilogue except for a big glaring change: Remthalas wakes up.
Why, how, and how everyone reacts is up to you (though I would prefer to see people happy that he's alive, and if possible, Rem himself getting better, learning to live again, maybe even helping Aquella reclaim the abyss, but really up to the filler.) Artwise feel free to draw him getting a hug from one of the gathered party members + a heartfelt caption of course, but I want Rem to live. If you wanna make it more adult oriented that's also totally fine; all I ask is keep in mind that it's confirmed he's canonically a trans man.

Hmmm so let me get this straight.
We have everyone mysteriously disappear by the water, with the briefest glimpse we get of it being Notha having her face darkened and being unresponsive.
And then when we get in the water, they’re all fine and it’s all brushed off and forgotten about.
All that while the quest is focused in part on an entity that can induce dreams, as well as control people and manipulate their perception through them?
I’m sure there’s absolutely nothing to worry about
#dragonfable#dragonfable spoilers#df spoilers#I'm keeping my eye on you Kathool I swear if you're pulling any shenanigans#Also Lock & Key and Myalos were just DELIGHTFUL during this quest

Some more DF sizes!
This size comparison pic Dove posted on the discord a while back gave us a good place to start on all of these characters!
Kathool is 115 ft tall. His head is 57 ft wide at the base, and if you count that mass of tentacles (though I wouldn’t), his body is 144 ft wide.
Uthuluc is 432 ft tall, and the mass of tentacles beneath him is 390 ft wide. We don’t have any pictures of him with his wings outstretched, so I had to do some guesstimating & extra math, but his wingspan is likely around 1,160 ft.
Messimy is 72 ft tall and 96 ft long.
Thanks to this image, we can determine that her wingspan is about 270 ft. This makes her about 1.5-1.6 times Draco’s size.
Myalos is 480 ft long and 142 ft tall when standing on all fours, or 85 ft tall from belly to shoulder.
And from this image we can determine that Myalos’s wingspan is 800 ft.
Moving on to the warbeasts from the Wastes!
Using the dragons as reference (sorry, they are a bit difficult to see in this), we find that Cryohem is 495 ft tall & 464 ft wide.
And using the dragons once again, we find that the Tytan is 736 ft tall at the mouth (including the armor plating that may or may not be natural) and 1184 ft long, making it the second largest creature in DF after GenoKratos!
Now if only I could find something to reliably measure the size of Sepulchure’s dracolich fortress…
Today I was seized by the part of my brain that demands answers, and so I found the sizes for some of DF’s dragons. All sizes are assuming the Hero is 6 ft tall, so feel free to edit based on your individual Hero’s height.
From these pictures, I deduced that Draco is 48 ft tall, 60 ft long, with a 170 ft wingspan.
Think that’s big? You haven’t seen anything yet.
From these, I discovered that Akriloth is very under-sold in our fights with him, as he is actually 210 ft tall, 260 ft long, with a 740 ft wingspan. Absolutely MASSIVE. More than four times Draco’s size.
But that’s nothing.
We unfortunately don’t have any pics of GenoKratos’s full body. But from these pics, we can find that their heads alone, from chin to the very top of what the screenshot lets us see, are 560 ft tall (plant head) and 504ft tall (stone head). Their heads alone are more than twice as tall as Akriloth, and more than ten times taller than Draco. I can only imagine how big their full body must be.
I hope you have enjoyed these little tidbits. I know I did. Because if there is one thing I love more than dragons, it is ridiculously oversized dragons.

Currently having profound Mechquest Reset brainrot because I looked back on how the DF Hero is shocked to see that Myalos is a robot dragon despite having met two dragonoids in his Mechquest iteration and how it profoundly drives home the fact that these are simultaneously the same person while being fundamentally different, having had vastly different lives, experiences and knowledge.
#dragonfable#mechquest#the dichotomy of this is just... man I love the Reset#The MQ Hero and the DF Hero are the same people#but they're not#they haven't lived the same life#had the same love and losses#their lives are fundamentally different and yet they are the same people!#Their memories are gone and yet they still peek through at times like AdventureFriends#They haven't lived the Mechquest experiences and yet it's still a part of them buried deep down#And yet regardless of the timeline or their life they still make the choice to be a hero

I feel so bad seeing Myalos like this! My poor boy, he deserved better
I hope that means we’ll see him again soon though! There’s so much we can learn about him, what with being a pre-Reset Dragonoid and everything.
#dragonfable#df spoilers#spoilers#don't mind me loving Myalos to bits#but dragonoids were always my favorite part of Mechquest lore#how can I not love him#also the music from that cinematic gets me all emotional#it's a beautiful soundtrack

My guess would be that the imagery of the judgement scale came before in Mechquest prior to the actual idea of the Aequilibria and IE. Especially given that we really didn't get a huge amount of world building that we did until Book 3 and our first mention of the Aequilibria in game wasn't until that one Hero Heart Quest.
Now that is the out of universe explanation, at least mine anyway, in the context of the lore as we understand it however, and assuming the Aequilibria are in fact IE, we still have to narrow down whether the Aequilibria existed prior to the reset or were created as god products alongside the retroactive history of the DF timeline after the reset restarted Mechquest.
If we go back to the Judgement scale found in Mechquest, and presuming that Notha was correct in her evaluation of the Myalos' ruins were older than even the Exalted, this might serve as one example then that Aequilibria did exist prior to the reset and possibly were not even affected by it.
Another explanation might be that the reset did in fact create the Aequilibria and the judgement scale could be their counterpart in MQ timeline.
Either way it will certainly be interesting to learn more about their origins in the future.
You ever find something where the similarities are so close but the time of the work don’t match up so you absolutely cannot guess if it’s a coincidence or was planned since much longer than you thought?
I was going through Mechquest, on Planet Liath and i found something.. interesting that I thought I should share with you all
Now this is pretty on its own, but for anyone who’s played Dragonfable, it might seem familiar
Keep reading
