FOTD #049 : dewdrop bonnet! (hemimycena tortuosa)

the dewdrop bonnet (winner of the 2023 mushroom showdown) is a basidiomycete fungus in the family mycenaceae. it has been spotted in the UK, but currently only has 40 sightings worldwide, so there is not much known about this mushroom.

the big question : can i bite it?? the edibility of this fungus is unknown !!
