I discovered devil's advocate hub because of of you and I don't know if I should thank you of beat your ass. I devoured all of that shit in 2 days in between classes. its one of, if not the best character centred pieces I've ever read in general. Whatever the fuck Iris Jaqueline and Anne have going on drives me feral.

Btw I am drawing Anne rn and don't know much about what she looks like. Just that she has black hair and is the same side as iris, can you give me some more information (e.g. eye colour, hair and clothing styles etc)?

I'll be completely honest here, Anne was always a character I was fuzzier on in terms of her physical appearance. I had most of the other characters down in my head pretty well, but Anne was sort of nebulous beyond her major traits.

Part of this was because she's a bit of a chameleon. I don't think I touched on what she actually did when she was in the Insurgency yet, but she doubled as a regular agent and something like a spy where she leveraged her very weak mind reading to manipulate people. For that reason, she often had to change her appearance and dress somewhat significantly. When left in a vacuum, though, she tends to default to pretty standard wear. She grew up on a farm, so she likes flannels and jeans and whatnot, even though she often found herself switching between tactical gear and sharp dresses.

Aside from her clothes, she has straight medium-length hair that's reasonably well maintained, her eyes are brownish green, and she's a little taller than Iris.

I saw the comment you left on Dead Man's Party and felt bad that I didn't respond even though you said it was pretty much the only thing you'd commented on, plus the comment was very nice. You don't need to respond to this ask, I just didn't leave a response in a while and wanted to make sure you saw this. As for the content of the comment, yeah, I was also glad to get the plot moving - I’ve got some stuff cooking for the near future.

I'm glad you liked the article as much as you did Voices Carry! VC was pretty successful in the long run, so making something of a similar caliber to it was a little daunting. And about what you said with Anne, I considered slashing it down a fair bit but decided to keep it as it was. That was the first time I could have Iris and Anne really interact as partners, and I wanted to give that interaction some space.

You know, I was considering having an epilogue scene that just spelled out what everything with Adams was about, but I’m glad I decided to push it back. I can think of much more dramatic ways to go about revealing that. You might already know why, but including the Olympians in that reveal would be more satisfying, I think.

AWESOME!!! I'm so excited for where you go from here, and Absence Makes the Heart Grow Stronger has only stoked that curiosity. I love your Alpha-9, i love how dysfunctional they are, I love how extremely unprofessional and insane every single one of them is. Reread bits of part 3 of Dead Mans Party again before replying and man. I love how bad they are at being a taskforce its incredible. Them getting the shit kicked out of them was harrowing but also they were just flying by the seat off their pants basically constantly up until now and iris is undoutedly traumatized but she was also the only one taking any of it seriously until it was too late. just try to pick up the pieces now you big dumb idiots. you deserve every bit of praise you get, glass, genuinely!!
