It's holiday cocktail time on #LickthePlate on @939theriver this week with @detroitcitydistillery Brand Ambassador Michael Clark talking crafty and traditional drinks perfect for the season. Besides that gig, Mike is the sound engineer for Lick the Plate in Detroit... Basically he makes the show really good. He also happens to be married to my niece who gives some credit for the mix cd's I made for her to impress MC when she first started dating him in NY. Not an easy task given he was touring the country with some pretty cool bands at the time. I connected early with Mike over music and food and that has developed into a solid friendship and a lot of fun collaborating on Lick The Plate!
