dead boy detectives fandom, can we please appreciate lauren k. robek's acting?? i know we didn't see much of her but the way she brought edwin's mannerisms to his disguise was so good. like i did not doubt for one second that aunt cindy wasn't edwin under there. like i could imagine every facial expression lauren k. robek made while playing edwin being made by george rexstrew too, and vice versa. esp in the train scene, when edwin takes off the glasses, that little smirk that both lauren k. robek and george rexstrew did?? she played edwin so well and it will never cease to amaze me

something about how an edwardian boy who died in 1916 and a ska punk who died in 1989 are each other's perfect counterparts. something about how they crossed each other's timelines at just the right time to find one another in the most unlikely of ways and decided they were going to stay together forever, against all odds and despite every obstacle.
