Sometimes you have a dream that scares you but then when you wake up you're like "ok that was just kinda weird/silly, not terrifying". (That big post about a snoopy plushie doing the macarena)

And then sometimes you have a dream where you're Detective Barbie and when you catch up to the darkly dressed figure in the carnival they pull out a knife and you lose a bit of blood and it hurts (sometimes in my dreams things don't hurt that definitely should) but you do win the fight, so it's all fine and cool. And then you wake up, not because your heart is pounding, but because someone in the house made a noise, and you're like, "That should have been fucking terrifying".

That's the power of being Barbie I guess.
