Heeey been a looooong tune. How you doing? Played anything good or awful recently? NGL I missed talking to you just been so busy. Also you're thing about Sora......why do I feel your right lol. The unreality or whatever that was in the music game. Still annoys me the FGM could send them to the afterlife but can't break that last barrier.

Hey! It's been awhile, I was wondering if you were still on tumblr or had migrated elsewhere ^^ Good to hear from you!

Good is NEO TWEWY, bad is Genshin Impact (currently still playing though, ugh, I need something else to fill the time!) and I'm currently investigating Final Fantasy 14 (hopefully, the something else). Allegedly there will be Oceania servers soon, which'll make life easier. Have you been up to anything interesting?

KH is in that annoying space of "I love you... but I hate you... but I love you..." I still haven't played the rhythm game. I'm 98% of the way to successfully completely overwriting KH3 with the version in my head and I plan to just freeze there eternally. One day I'll finish writing it down (I'm really bad at that), but in general I'm just... so uninterested in the future of the series so even if Smash does become plot relevant, I'm free! I do not perceive!!!

Thank you, I hate that stuff. There is so much of it and people love it. I just feel bad even though it's fanfiction. That's all their is, now I did see one that's a twist where it started out like that but it was Krillin in disguise and they were RP. I mean I wouldn't mind Android/Cell Saga or Future 18. Though for some reason they always want to take 18 away from Krillin I get cuckolding (Not into it) though if it's just bondage other stuff Future 18 seems like a better target

There is literally no better couple in Dragonball Z than 18 and Krillin. I won’t hear any of that, “Oh but Bulma/Vegeta, or Chichi/Goku is better” nonsense. 

And for the record, 18 is the one that chose Krillin. She didn’t have to kiss him on the cheek their very first meeting, didn’t have to come back to the Look Out after Cell was defeated and Krillin made his wish for her bomb to be removed. She could have kept on going, but his sweet and caring actions, from destroying the remote, trying to protect her from cell, and the wish, wooed her completely.

I never said anything like that. I’m not a fan of those kind of ships either, but how harmful they are really depends on context. Shipping gay and trans characters with their bullies/abusers is harmful because it excuses, justifies, and romanticizes the harassment of marginalized groups, and that’s fucked up.

I blame FG not hurting anyone on Mashima, unless it's Natsu or Erza no one can really do anything amazing, probably why they're my least favorite two characters because everyone else is sidelined. Sure everyone else has their awesome moments don't get me wrong, but it just kinda gets boring having those two save the day everytime and somehow being able to do stuff no one else can.

That is so true. You can bet if Erza or Natsu had FG then it would at least cause some damage to their enemies. It’s so frustrating (especially when it’s established more than once that Natsu isn’t even near being the strongest of the Guild), I wouldn’t mind Natsu and Erza taking the lead against the biggest villains so much if they also had some of the minor characters take out some big villains as well.

NO!!! But like……. I am kinda tired of the Disney deaths… the threat of characters dying doesn’t even feel like a threat again. If we’re gonna go the “Gildarts gets mad at August because he hurt Cana” thing, let’s not make it where he think’s Cana’s dead, let’s just have Cana get pretty seriously hurt

I think all of these fake deaths have cheapened the drama of a character dying, because we don’t expect them to be gone for more than a chapter at most.

It was revealed in the most recent issue of Batman that Catwoman was completely innocent. She was just covering for Holly Robinson who actually committed the murders.

Honestly Rhea is the worst because everything she did was out of pure selfishness. Dimitri no doubt committed the most war crimes, Edelgard did the most short-term harm. I mean by the end of Dimitri's route Edelgard is practically gone consumed by the brainwashing and lust for power. It's honestly sad, none of them are really "villains" they are antagonists but Rhea and the Slitherers are truly the villains. Edelgard gets a lot of crap but honestly she doesn't deserve it 3/?

Rhea time. And before I get started I’d like to say my entire response to most of this was “??????? CITATION NEEDED” because oh man.

oh, man. long as shit btw. 

Let's look at Rhea for a second (I honestly believe Edelgard taking her out is good.) She made up her own religion, named it after herself, made herself the leader for 1,000+ years, entire religion is a lie. 

Why did she do that, again? Because her entire species was driven to the edge of extinction because Nemesis and his crew (sponsored by the Agarthans!) wanted cool weapons and fancy superpowers. Seiros crafted her religion and imagery as a Saint to try and rally humans to her side so she could fight Nemesis, avenge her dead family and try to stop the Agarthans. (thx tedious verdant wind monologue)

This wasn’t exactly to humanity’s detriment. The Agarthans wanted to wipe out all surface-dwellers, so Rhea’s not exactly the worst ever for doing this.

One of the first things “Saint Seiros” did was palm as much power as she could off onto humans - the first Adrestian Emperor, as well as the 10 Elites. The religion remained intact to try and keep people worshipping Sothis so that, hopefully, that shit wouldn’t happen again. Putting the 10 Elites into power turned out to be a mistake as it resulted in Crest culture - but Rhea has so little actual power that the most she could do was disavow the hell out of it in scripture, which the nobility (shockingly) chose to ignore. 

The Church she creates is routinely shown to be fishy until you actually start learning the truth of the matter and you realise that actually, no, it’s really not that bad (Cindered Shadows speedruns this). Almost every character that started distrusting the Church ends up changing their tune. In fact, it’s pretty clearly supposed to be a plot twist that the Church isn’t evil. 

The Church hosts Abyss, welcomes foreigners, protects the disadvantaged, takes in orphans, follows the orders of the nobility, disavows Crest culture and doesn’t care whether or not they’re worshipped. The only people they’re shown executing are people that attacked them first, and even then Rhea is very slow to respond.

Rhea is, at worst, a woman that did her best to try and control an awful situation, and a lot of her decisions spiralled out of her control in a way that she couldn’t fix. Rhea is not a malicious figure - at worst, she was trying to throw water on a raging housefire and not doing the best possible job.

There’s a reason Rhea is never shown as a vicious tyrant stepping on the back’s of humans - she isn’t one. Rhea’s framed as sympathetic in 3/4 routes for a reason. In fact, she and Edelgard are incredibly similar characters. If Edelgard can get a handwave for all the dubious things she does as a victim of the Agarthans, why doesn’t Rhea? The two have a lot in common. 

She knows Sothis is dead and no one is listening to the prayers. People have been wasting their lives working for the church for nothing, not to mention she says it's gods will when she has to kill someone. Sothis has no clue who she is 

Rhea is trying to bring Sothis back, which would kind of make the religion worthwhile. Besides, Manuela talks a lot in her support with Edelgard about how faith helps her. Regardless of whether a god is listening or not, there’s value in people having that kind of support system available. 

Sothis having amnesia isn’t Rhea’s fault...?

Then when Sothis gives her powers to Byleth, Rhea tries to kill him/her for not following Rhea's "Goddesses" orders. 

No, Rhea tries to kill Byleth for siding with Edelgard - aka that one chick that kidnaps civilians for human experimentation, destroyed Remire Village, colluded with the Western Church and raided her family’s graves. Byleth - her mother - functionally siding with the Agarthans drove Rhea to a complete mental break, which... understandable.

Rhea forms a fake religion to control the masses,summarily executes people who see through this fake religion, go against it, 

Who did she execute for seeing through the fake religion and going against it?

The Western Church was executed for trying to assassinate her and desecrating holy ground. They didn’t “see through the religion”, they didn’t like Rhea. Besides, Cyril openly doesn’t even worship Sothis, which Rhea knows, and she’s perfectly fine with it. 

Edelgard being an athiest isn’t even a consideration in why Rhea wanted her dead.

Rhea doesn’t experiment on humans. She created homunculi, and all of those homunculi were apparently free to live happy, healthy lives. Hell, Sitri even got married.

Rhea is at her absolute worst post mental breakdown in Crimson Flower, where you’ll hear no defence from me. I will point out that it’s Byleth and Edelgard’s fault she ended up there, though. I would say CF is actually Rhea at her worst - it’s horrific - but is clearly intended to be Rhea pushed over the edge, not something Rhea would normally do.

In Summary Was a tyrant for 10,000 years, Stifled technology and human development, Human experimentation, Baby snatcher, Burns down cities just to get to Edelgard, sees humans as ants, only cares about her mother, is a dragon.

"Stifled technology and human development”? There’s a School of Sorcery in Faerghus, and Fodlan is shown as being exactly on par with every country around it. The worst thing you could accuse Rhea of is banning autopsies...

Which makes sense in context, as she wants to avoid a Nabatean genocide and someone figuring out how Crests work might be in a position to start just that. Besides, there’s literally an anatomical model in Manuela’s office, so clearly that’s not being enforced anymore...

Baby snatcher?? Uh? Who? When? The only time Rhea got near a baby was when she performed emergency life-saving surgery on Byleth at the behest of Sitri. Jeralt snatched that baby.

Rhea is incredibly charitable to humans in her care. If shse were some human-hating tyrant, do you really think she’d bother handing almost all power over to humans? Or hosting Abyss? Yeah, she cares about Sothis over all else, but also realises the error in that. 

Also... how is being a dragon a bad thing? Seteth and Flayn are dragons. Corrin is a dragon. Tiki, Nowi, Naga and god knows how many characters in FE are dragons. Manaketes aren’t an inherently malicious force in Fire Emblem. Edelgard’s racist against dragons because she’s been spoonfed an Agarthan diet, but... clearly dragons aren’t evil?

Yo, you probably already knew this but it never hit me lol. Tsunade is both a Senju and an Uzumaki. Yet everyone always focuses on her Senju blood and not her Uzumaki blood. Probably why I forgot.

Haha, yeah the Senju and Uzumaki clans are blood relatives.

I'll add that I don't really care about shipping. Not why I read series. I don't even really like Natsu or Lucy that much. I just think Mashima could have been a bit more creative in the design instead of just barely changing the design of his genderbent Natsu. Similair how you don't like the name. I wasn't bashing the ship or shippers as that means nothing to me. I just expect more from him sometimes.

I agree, but he did add Lucy’s eyes to the girl to make her look a little more like her. She doesn’t have the sharp pointy eyes Natsu has, and I think that sets her apart a little.

But I do agree that he could have made her have Lucy’s hair or something. It is his drawing, so I think he made her look beautiful in the way he wanted.

To me Layla is kinda bad too. Instead of getting all the kids together and making them stronger she let them be. Now I get her reasons but if she truly needed to beat Acno that would be the best shot letting them train together. That's my only problem with her though.

Agreed! She even mentioned how suprised she is that Acnologia let humanity be. If she considers him that dangerous then just letting the kids be was not the best idea, if they are supposed to beat Acno at some point
