I know itā€™s a weird ask but I really want to be able to fight Soraā€™s friends. Iā€™d love in kh4 to have a limitcut type thing but with Riku, kairi, Donald, goofy, Roxas, etc. I just think itā€™d be really cool.
1.) Riku. I want the fully evolved form of the destiny islands Riku fight, have him have a dumb ass counter that he spams ever five seconds.
2.) Kairi. Let the girl rip and tear she deserves it. Her reckless teleporting to her keyblade noctis style is also sick as hell Iā€™d love to fight it instead of alongside or as it.
3.) Donald and Goofy. Tag team. Donald zoning out Sora while goofy pressured him, and goofy protecting Donald while he charges up a massive spell. Itā€™d be really cool.
4.) Roxas. The kh2 Roxas fight is one of my favourite in the series and I just want to see how theyā€™ve both progressed.
5.) Axel. Okay so this is the main reason Iā€™m making this post - I want to fight axel, itā€™s CRIMINAL that he doesnā€™t have his own theme yet. Every other character on here does, yet heā€™s stuck with sharing the 13th struggle. Why. Also him stance changing between his chakrams and his keyblade and the fire arena would be sick.
6.) Xion. Any excuse to hear vector to the heavens Iā€™ll take. Also she has one of the best fights in all of kh3 so I want to fight her AGAIN. Itā€™d be so cool if she dons her armour from days and becomes a giant fuckoff gundam as part of her dm too lmao
7.) Terra. We kinda got this in remind but it was terranort so I donā€™t count it. Also I think the lexaeus boss fight in kh2 is so cool and this is the closest we could ever get to it happening again lol
8.) Ventus. I just really want to see them fight. Heā€™s so quick too I think itā€™d be Yozora and Xion levels of dancing with your opponent.
9.) Aqua. I want to not be able to make out her or Sora underneath the sheer mass of projectiles sheā€™d release. I need her fight to be a bullet hell. Also she deserves to let off some steam after being trapped in hell for a decade.
10.) NaminĆ©. Dear god please give her something to do. Sheā€™s literally done nothing since 2005. Kh3 forgot her so bad they had to make up a scene just to justify putting her on the boxart. I know that she technically has no offensive prowess since her only power is being able to change the memories of people related to Sora specifically, but please oh please just give her something else. Have her become a keyblade wielder. Have Donald teach her magic. Actually thatā€™d be sick as hell, have the witch be incredibly strong at magic without needing a keyblade like everyone and their grandmother. Just please do something with her.
11.) Mickey. Let me beat up Michael. Let him go all out. See who deserves the title of king.
Extras:
Have ā€œhard modeā€s where you have Riku and Kairi, Mickey Donald and goofy, Roxas Axel and Xion, and Terra Ventus and Aqua pairing up. Whoā€™d NaminĆ© pair up with? Nomura knows.
Have Cloud, Tifa, and Yuffie grouped up as a fight and itā€™s literally just them ripped straight from 7 rebirth to its synergy skills and everything.
Yozora rematch? Idk it might be too soon.
I would say to have union cross characters as fights but thatā€™ll probably happen in kh4 anyway. At the very least the lost masters for sure.

Ez8 high mobility type, probably one of the dumbest gundams, as the base ground gundam is a ground type suit and isnt meant for space combat, things like the blue destiny unit 2 and Ez8 high mo variations are the weird exception to the rule. hailing from the same series as the gm juggler its design has been racking my brain recently

So I saw Gundam Seed FREEDOM...
Tumblr media
... and honestly it defies analysis.
I will avoid spoilers for major plot elements in this write-up.
I'm a huge Gundam fan. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has followed my work for a long time, as I frequently bring it up, even in entirely inapplicable situations.
But even though I've been a fan since the late 90s, I'd never had a chance to see any of it in the cinema - so when AllTheAnime organised a special short run of the movie for UK theatres, I jumped at the chance.
What I saw surprised me.
To clarify, I'm not one of those Gundam fans who hates SEED. Sure, I love the UC, but I'm not gonna lie, Wing was my genesis within the fandom so I'm as likely to watch G-Gundam as 08th MS Team, though I do lean towards the grittier side of the franchise, with War in the Pocket being my favourite entry.
But most relevant to this is that while I enjoyed SEED, I've always been critical of Destiny for some really bizarre plotting that, frankly, kinda left the CE timeline in a mess. Like many fans, with the show having been off the air for nearly two decades, I gave up on the idea the movie might exist literally years ago.
With all that out of the way...
The movie does exist. Finally. And is it good? Bad?
The weird thing is I don't know what to say, and that's weird for a writer.
It's awesome. It's terrible. It's goofy. It's clever. It's idiotic. It's bizarre.
But it's over 2 hours long and, honestly, I was never bored, which I guess is a success?
Perhaps most surprisingly, the movie expends ZERO ENERGY on helping you if you haven't seen the near-100-episodes of CE anime which came before this. Like, if you haven't seen SEED and or Destiny, you are just utterly fucked. The show wheels characters and plot-beats from the prior material in-and-out in a manner I could best call aggressive. I last watched Destiny about ~7 years ago, and I'm a self-admitted Gundam nerd; but even I had to look up a few things on my phone afterwards.
Then, fan-service. Of both kinds. All sorts of things get pulled out of cold storage for the movie... But it works. Though that also stands as a testament to how this is, in the truest sense, a 2004 anime throwback. I actually heard some people in the cinema groaning at some of the Gainax Bouncing going on; but then given the jiggly silhouette in EVERY OPENING TO SEED, frankly it would've been stranger if it had been absent.
I think the movie has loads of problems. Even by CE standards, some of the storytelling was really goofy and dare-I-say-it, "cringe". It recycles probably too much and certainly doesn't stand on its own as a piece of media (though that's not so much a failing as a clear, conscious choice).
Also... It has that "anime movie" thing where the plot feels a bit filler. The first time you have this new guy on the scene with shock-white hair, being all edgelord as he talks about war and destiny and fencing or some other weird metaphor you kinda see the entire movie unfurl before you. If you're a longtime anime fan this isn't so much your first rodeo as your daily commute.
From there, the story takes numerous predictable turns, dips liberally into melodrama, sets up some great Mobile Suit fights, with relatively few surprises (note, however, I'm not saying "no surprises", as there are some, and also, I'm not suggesting it's tedious).
And yet...
It's fun.
It's really, really fun.
That's the crux of all this. That's what really matters. And honestly, when that new theme comes out of the speakers, sounding in perfect key with the types of music that ran through SEED's run, and Kira's onscreen, and he's locking onto a dozen targets and beams are spamming everywhere and everything's exploding in that weird pink way that things in SEED explode...
Have you ever tried to play a videogame from the 90s that you haven't played in years? And do you know how touch-and-go that is?
Gundam Seed FREEDOM is, if I'm to compare it to anything, like that.
But thankfully, it's one of the times when your memories might have been optimistic, but they're not wrong. That game may be a bit crude, a bit rough around the edges, and have more boob and ass jiggle than you recall... But it's good. So good that you find yourself sitting cross-legged on the floor in front of your console, grinning like an absolute loon, until it's 2am and you can no longer feel your feet.
If you have fond memories of the SEED era of the Gundam franchise, don't miss it.

So Iā€™ve been seeing a lot of people chatting about the new Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance trailer, and thereā€™s a part of it Iā€™d like to throw my two cents in on.
Honestly, in regards to there being a billion Gundamā€™s running around the OYW, I made my peace with that fact years ago, so it doesnā€™t bother me. Yeah, yeah itā€™s a little silly from an in-universe perspective, no matter how many times they pull the ā€œsecret prototypeā€ card. But from an out of universe perspective, Gundams sell, and they want it to sell. Itā€™s a rare thing in the UC series that doesnā€™t have a Gundam in it.
But just for the sake of it, how many Gundams are (at present) running around in the One Year War?
Note: I was originally going to ignore things like Thunderbolt, The Origin and the Sidestories, since they all have a somewhat weird canon state. Then I realised that ā€œGundams that Canonically existed in the OYWā€ ā‰  ā€œGundams that you see marketed in OYW sidestoriesā€. So, Iā€™m going to lead with the suits that we know existed, then move on to the other ones. I am, however, ignoring Manga, because I havenā€™t read everything and weā€™ll be here all day.
Tumblr media
Alrighty, so we start off with the original RX-78 series as built in Operation V (sometimes called the ā€œVinson Planā€). We have:
RX-78-1 ā€œPrototype Gundamā€ - As its name suggests, the prototype unit to the entire line. Never deployed to my knowledge, Iā€™m honestly not sure what happens to it. I usually read it as being destroyed during the attack on Side 7, but Iā€™m not certain of that.
RX-78-2 ā€œGundamā€ - you know this one. Amuro falls into the cockpit at Side 7 and proceeds to pilot it from then until the end of the One Year War.
RX-78-3 ā€œG-3 Gundamā€ - apparently recovered from Side 7 and used as a test bed for magnet coating technology. Beyond that we have absolutely no idea what happened to it, since thereā€™s a bunch of conflicting accounts. My usual headcanon is that it was used as a basis for all the MSV suits, but we have absolutely no idea if and where it was deployed.
RX-78-4 ā€œGundam G04ā€ - deployed alongside unit 5 at the Battle of Solomon.
RX-78-5 ā€œGundam G05ā€ - deployed alongside unit 4 at the battle of Solomon.
RX-78-6 ā€œMudrock Gundamā€ - deployed in the defence of Jaburo and the re-taking of California base.
The other two units are part of the series, but were not (as far as we know) deployed during the OYW:
RX-78-7 ā€œGundam 7thā€ - completed and deployed after the war.
RX-78-8 - we know nothing about. There may have been an 8th unit, it may just have been design data, and we have no idea if it was deployed or what it looked like.
Tumblr media
Next; The Gundam Ground Types. There were 20 (-ish, some sources say 28) Gundam ground types produced during the One Year War from spare parts of the RX-78 series. This includes:
The units seen in 08th MS Team - 12 Gundam Ground Types were deployed to the Kojima Battalion.
The Ez8 - Deployed, as above.
Blue Destiny Unit 1 - Deployed
Blue Destiny Unit 2 - stolen by Zeon Ace Nimbus Schterzen.
Blue Destiny Unit 3 - Deployed in pursuit of Unit 2.
Slave Wraith - Questionably Canon, assigned to and deployed by Slave Wraith team.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Iā€™m also gonna quickly call out that we have no idea on the various Full Armor units (the FA Gundam, the Heavy Gundam, the FA Ground type, the FA type B etc). Some sources say they were built, others that they were only simulation data.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And finally we have everything else:
Gundam NT-1 ā€œAlexā€ - Developed at Augusta Base, then moved to side 6, where it was deployed against the Cyclops Team.
Gundam NT-1 ā€œPrototype NT-1ā€ - apparently an entirely separate suit to the NT-1. The prototype to the above. Presumably not deployed.
RX-78XX ā€œPixy/Pixie Gundamā€ - Questionably Canon, three units built. Unit 1 deployed in Belfast, Unit 2 in the Gobi Desert (and planned to be deployed at Odessa) and Unit 3 in Africa.
RAG-79-G1 Gundam Marine type - Sometimes known as the ā€œGundiverā€. An underwater-spec unit. Unknown amount produced, primarily because itā€™s essentially a modified Underwater GM as opposed to a ā€œtrueā€ Gundam unit.
And thatā€™s about it for mainline UC. Gundam The Origin intentionally keeps things very vague as to how many Gundamā€™s exist there, so Iā€™m not going to bother.
Tumblr media
Gundam Thunderbolt is a bit of an odd case, since at first glance, it adds three:
FA-78 Full Armour Gundam (Thunderbolt ver.) - deployed by the Moore Brotherhood at Side 4.
RX-79[GS] Gundam Ground type S - produced by the Federation during the One Year War and after, presumably deployed.
RGM-79/GH Gundam Head - a GM with a Gundam-style head in an attempt to reproduce the psychological effect on Zeon forces.
But that last one illustrates Thunderboltā€™s position on the matter, which is later made clearer in the manga in regards to the Bull-G, a unit built postwar. The Bull-G is a prototype unit contending for the position of the Federations new main unit. However, itā€™s actually an upgraded GM, fitted with a Gundam-style head to make it more appealing.
Tumblr media
And this seems to be thunderboltā€™s position on the matter - after a certain point it comes down to a suitā€™s performance rather than it being a Gundam. So yes, it adds a bunch of Gundam-style suits, but it also deconstructs that just because a suit looks like a Gundam doesnā€™t make it special.
Which is honestly a pretty interesting position to take.

By the Numbers update!!
With just over a day left to sign up as a creator for Fandom Trumps Hate 2023, here's a quick roundup of all of the numbers:
We have 705 offers by 527 creators (I've had to update this three times while writing this post!). Of those, 97 are offering to work in ANY fandom! The rest have signed up offering fanworks in 273 fandoms, including 177 write-in fandoms! (To compare that with roughly the same time last year, as we approached 24 hours left to sign up for FTH2022 we had 680 offers from 525 creators in 257 fandoms including 153 write-ins ā€¦ meaning we have 23 more offers in 16 more fandoms by the same number of creators for 2023 ā€¦ SO FAR.)
A look at the offers, broken down by type (with last year's numbers in italics for comparison purposes) -
458 Written fanwork (fic, fan poetry, etc) (457) 107 Fan art (103) 63 Fan labor (beta services, translation, Brit-picking, etc) (70) 59 Podfic (39) 13 Other Digital Fanwork (7) 5 Video (4)
Nearly 65% of creators are opting to let their bidders choose which org to support with their donation. The orgs most often chosen by those who wish to direct donations to a particular nonprofit remain the Transgender Legal and Education Defense Fund, any/all abortion fund, Rainbow Railroad, and the Navajo Water Project. The orgs selected least often are The Appeal, Razom, and Violence Policy Center.
In our listed fandoms Good Omens has increased its lead and its lock on the top spot. MCU caught up with Sherlock and Teen Wolf for a brief 3-way tie for 4th place behind HP and K-pop, but has since gained an additional signup to claim that spot, leaving Sherlock and Teen Wolf tied for fifth ahead of Star Wars, Stranger things, SVSSS, The Untamed, and The Sandman.
A handful of signups could still shake things up here, or over in the unlisted fandoms, where the Young Royals lead has been cut in half ā€¦ see the full list of all 177 write-in fandoms under the cut. Sign up to create fanworks to push your fandom up in the rankings! Reblog FTH posts so your fandom friends can do the same! Sign ups are open until Sunday Feb 19 at 11:59 PM Pacific.

Gundam SEED FREEDOM thoughts
Tumblr media
Late post for this. As one of the fans who waited for this movie for almost two decades then watched it after all those years, there's a lot of things to say. AND BECAUSE THERE IS ALOT to say, procrastinations happen to me whenever Iā€™m gonna write and that what keeps me posting my thoughts. But yeah good thing I powered it through and here it is. Also I read alot of reviews of this movie by now so Iā€™m kinda aware now on the best scenes, best characters and best mechs. Iā€™m just gonna mention extra thoughts that lingers in my head for a long time(most of it are just Kira and Lacus).
Watched it multiple times in Cinemas and Streaming sites. Also I did read the novel of the movie. As mentioned by the author Liu Goto, she wrote the novel as the movie was but with extra character thoughts which I recommend to read it to understand more of the characters. I gotta say though I love the movie and I can really tell itā€™s also for the longest fans of SEED because of sheer number of callouts.Ā
The movie is too damn fast paced that it should be an OVA or series hence the reason why I did a multiple rewatches. But I like that I see new small details every time I rewatch. 1st half is kinda dragging but I can see the Morosawaā€™s touch there and 2nd half is pure fan service.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The story while its just a generic storytelling of defeating the genocidal generic bad guys on surface level, Iā€™m really glad that it explored Lacusā€™ character which explained her behavior and overwhelming charisma on SEED and SEED DESTINY. It also debunked the theory that Lacus was only using Kira but instead it shows how guilty she was on making Kira fight.
Also I like how it teaches Kira a lesson. That he is not alone in his fight to end the conflict and he can entrust that mission to his friends and those who believe in him. I like that it was Athrun who pointed that out because next to Lacus, he is the best one who can handle emotional Kira by far.
Tumblr media
The supporting characters. I loved how far they have come and they really shine in this movie with their skills and talents. I love all of them but Iā€™ll just mention one which is Shinn. We can tell how far his being came to be and how so healthy he is under Kiraā€™s (from angsty teen). What he is right now is what a normal late teenager should be. I like how he is loyal to his commander and then he gets angry when the accords mock Kira. He also says one of the best lines of the movie for me which is: ā€œShinn Asuka of the Yamato Teamā€(really says how far he had come). Also how cute that he just wants to recognized by his commander and help him.
Tumblr media
The Accords. Yes they are formidable opponents because of their psychic powers. But ultimately their downfall is their arrogant Mother that led them to be narrow-minded in the process on how the world works. They just follow her orders and not think it through. Their arrogant mother didnā€™t even consider other factors that can cause their plan to fail. I say they have guts to battle the Compass/Three Ship Alliance/Terminal faction. Yes they focused on researching Kira and Freedomā€™s weaknesses BUT did they forget to do their homework on the faction the he is on and that faction survived 2 wars and are experienced war veterans? lol. But in all honesty, this type of villain are so different from the past villains that the series has shownā€¦ It kinda felt out of place? Or should I say thereā€™s lack of depth on their end. Oh I forgot that this movie is more on fan service and movie has only 2hour run time so I guess accord as a villain to finish Kiraā€™s story and to expound Lacusā€™s character worked well.
If this was an OVA, it would help to flesh out their characters. Downside if this is an OVA is we would see Kira getting NTR'd for like 3-5 episodes which I would see myself get frustrated or bored if that happens.
Tumblr media
I donā€™t like how they shoehorned Lacus as an Accordā€¦ That she has a power that she may using it unconsciously on past series and is supposed to rule the world. BUT after the accord mess and we are now aware to the secret of her birth, I like how she can be an equal to Kira now since Kira is the Ultimate Coordinator and both of them were created/altered genes to help humanity in mind but on different purpose.
The catch of Kira being the ultimate coordinator is that he is on the top of the hierarchal structure of the Coordinators/Naturals and he alone shoulders the burden of the world. No matter what happen or even if he ran away from his intended purpose, he is still bound to his creators intention and he will keep helping humanity avoid conflicts and achieve advancement. But knowing Lacusā€™ birth, Kira is not alone now in that burden. He has now an equal who he can share/communicate that burden with or the one who will understand him on carrying that burden. Coincidentally itā€™s his future wife.
Tumblr media
On multiple rewatches, I realized that the main fight on 2nd half is more on Lacus vs Orphee. We can tell that Lacus truly despise Orphee and his narrow minded schemes. She flat out rejects him in his face multiple times and even mock him by showing up on Mighty Strike Freedomā€™s side.Ā
Tumblr media
This is the only time we see Kira genuine on his desires. This is Kira Yamato as a person. Not as a commander, not as a coordinator, not as a pilot and certainly not as Jesus Yamato... But just Kira.
Also note that this is the 2nd time we will hear him that he is directly vocal on what he loves.
Tumblr media
At the end of it all, nothing was solved in the worldly affairs other than Blue Cosmos is obliterated now. At least we see that long awaited kiss with the main couple. Good thing that they learned their lesson to communicate with each other cause no matter how small the communication is it can still impact the relationships and I find it very relatable. No more staring and feel what the other is thinking, just speak up goddammit!
Speaking of Kira and Lacus retirement, I say Iā€™m fine either way but Iā€™m leaning more on them not retiring yet just because I want to see Yamato team Dynamics (specifically Kira and Shinn). I have also wishful thinking to see Lacus adapt the Yamato surnameĀ and have kids with Kira.
I just hope that this movie sparked more CE content in future. I think they intendedly left the ending open to pave way for a new content. I want to see Kira and Lacus in a support role. Or Give Shinn another chance to be the MC. Or I want a sequel where the plot is centered on Ultimate Coordinator and Mendel experiments.
The MVP of the movie:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fucking Zā€™GOK and Destiny Gundam. Sorry MSF you were cool with that disruptor. But Zā€™GOK and Destiny are far more cooler.šŸ˜Ž
Bonus:
Tumblr media
Can anyone decipher Kira and Lacus movements thru their footprints at the end?šŸ˜

Just caught up to the latest episode G-Witch (Episode 9)
But seriously, how does anyone actually get into the Gundam series? There are like 30 series/movies, and it's been going on since 1979! Even if I just wanted to watch the first series, that's like 43 episodes right there! I don't think I have the brain capacity! (You could potentially watch the three movies, which cut out the filler. But that's 3 entire movies worth of content!)
Last time I tried to get into a mecha series (Macross), I only got through the first series and the movie. My brain got sick of watching Macross lmao. Unless Gundam is just so damn good that I can't put it down, I feel like the same shit would happen.
Those Gundam toys must be incredibly profitable to fund that much Gundam content.
In case, you didn't believe me, here's some Gundam entries: Mobile Suit Gundam (43 episodes); Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (50 episodes) ; Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ (47 episodes).
Then the movie Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack.
Then there's a bunch of OVAs. There's the 6 episode OVA - Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket. Then the 13 episode OVA. - Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. Then the 12 episode OVA - Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team. Then the 3 episode OVA - Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO: The Hidden One Year War. Then Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn (7 episode OVA). Then Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin (6 episode OVA). Thus ends the Universal Century time-line, and begins the Future Colony Time-line. That's already 10 different entires of Gundam.
Also this is not chronical to release date lmao.
For the Future Colony Time-line: Mobile Fighter G Gundam (49 episodes, Spring 1994).
Then the After Colony Time-line: Mobile Suit Gundam Wing (49 episodes, Spring 1995). Then the movie Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (August 1998).
Then the After War time-line: After War Gundam X (39 episodes, Spring 1996).
Then the Correct Century time-line: Turn a Gundam (50 episodes, Spring 1999)
Then the Cosmic Era: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (50 episodes, Fall 2002) and Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny (50 episodes, Fall 2004)
There's also Anno Domini time-line (3 entries) , the Advanced Generation Time-line (1 entry), Gundam Build Fighters time-line (5 entries) , the Post-Disaster Time-line (2 entries), and finally AD Stella time-line where G-Witch takes place.
This was exhausting to type out lmao. Imagine watching all of that. It would take years. I wouldn't be surprised if Gundam had more episodes than One Piece.
According to Reddit, there's 676 episodes of the main time-line. And 270.4 hours of content.
Then 57.28333 hours of Gundam OVA content. Then 29 hours of movie content. Then 41 hours of fringe Gundam content.
That's 398.55 hours or ~16 days worth of content.
Nope šŸ™…ā€ā™€ļø. I think I would become more Gundam than person after that. And people wonder why there aren't any western Gundam fans. šŸ™„
This also probably explains why Mecha is not as popular as it used to be lmao. What else can you possibly do with Giant Robots that hasn't been done before lmao?

So I have finally played my first Gundam video game and that happened to be SD Gundam Battle Alliance and I am really glad it was because playing this game give me the realization that there are good Gundam video games out there.
This game is really good fun. The combat is fun and fast paced, as it should be. There is a wealth different mobile suits from a lot of the different anime. I am going to list every mobile suit in the game because I can.
RX-78-2 Gundam, Guncannon, Guntank, GM, Zaku II Type F, Dom, Charā€™s Zā€™Gok & Charā€™s Gelgoog.
Gundam Ground Type, Gundam Ez8 & Gouf Custom.
Gundam Alex, GM Sniper II & Kampfer.
Full Armor Thunderbolt Gundam, Psycho Zaku & Gundam GP03S Stamen.
Zeta Gundam, Hyaku Shiki, Qubeley & The-O.
ZZ Gundam & Full Armor ZZ Gundam.
Nu Gundam, Sazabi & Hi-Nu Gundam.
Unicorn Gundam, Full Armor Unicorn Gundam, Banshee, Banshee Norn, Kshatriya, Sinanju & Narrative Gundam C-Packs.
Gundam F91, Crossbone Gundam X1, Crossbone Gundam X2 & V2 Assault Buster Gundam.Ā
Turn A Gundam, Turn X, Burning Gundam, Master Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero & Gundam Epyon.
Gundam Double X, Freedom Gundam, Justice Gundam Providence Gundam & Gundam Astray Gold Frame Amatsu Mina.
Destiny Gundam, Strike Freedom Gundam, Infinite Justice Gundam, Legend Gundam, Gundam Astray Red Frame Kai & Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second Revise.
00 Raiser, Cherudim Gundam. Arios Gundam, Seravee Gundam, Gundam Exia Repair II, Arche Gundam, Reborns Gundam, 0 Gundam (Type A.C.D) & 00 QAN[T}.
Gundam AGE-FX, G-Self (Perfect Pack), Gundam Barbatos (6th Form), Gundam Barbatos Lupus, Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, Gundam Gusion Rebake Full City, Gundam Bael, Gundam Kimaris Vidar & Reginlaze Julia (Final Battle)
Musha Gundam, Knight Gundam, Command Gundam, Gundam Latreia, Liu Bei Unicorn Gundam, Cao Cao Wing Gundam, Sun Jian Gundam Astray & Phoenix Gundam.
So, yeah, there are a lot of mobile suit to play and collect in this game. Now, personally, I find that can be the one downside to this game as well. See, once you do the main story and the DLC stories, there isnā€™t much left to do. The only thing you really can do is replay story missions as chaos missions and yeah itā€™s just going after blueprints to mobile suit you may have some but not all of or just not have yet. Some people may find that fun but I personally have already become bored of it. But that is really the only negative thing I have for this game. I definitely recommend giving this a play.Ā

6. Moron 5 pa ata not sure if yung 1st movie or yung 2nd movie Hahaha
7. Yes, sa UPLB way back college, nag invite kasi yung isa sa mga great friend ko dito before sa tumblr, si Dangoy, about siya sa Society, nakalimutan ko yung Title kasi may nagpopop up sa utak ko pero katunog lang. Importance of human rights, at yung injustice ng mayayaman and government towards workers like farmers, great Play siya for me, sobrang galing ng cast. (kung nasaan man si Dangoy keep safe sayo at sa family, pati sa love mo)
8. More on self improvement, comedy, drama, love, family, God, mostly redirection of life.
9. Myself.
10. Good ending (movie) but not totally the ending, it's like starting another chapter in life. Like what I said in the question number 8, that movie is all about redirection.
Good morning @ameownymous :))

Huh, thereā€™s an idea. I wonder what the overall casualty rate for Gundam Pilots is?
*The Following Contains Spoilers for pretty much every Gundam series, though Iā€™ll try to keep them non-specific*
Iā€™ll list each series, the number of Gundamā€™s in that series, and the amount of Gundam pilots that donā€™t make it to the end of the series. (Watch me regret this when I get to the really Gundam-Heavy series). However, Iā€™m not including:
After War Gundam X and Turn A Gundam - I havenā€™t seen either of these yet.
G-Saviour
Igloo - No Gundams.
Gundam the Origin - Feels like cheating.
Gundam Thunderbolt - 1 Gundam Pilot in the OVA versus 9 at present in the Manga, which is still ongoing. It feels awkward to qualify.
If a pilot appears in multiple series, Iā€™ll count them separately for each series, but they only get one mobile suit per series. For Example, Kira Yamato appears in Two Series, and has three mobile suits. Thus, he only counts twice.
In regards to what counts as a Gundam -
Tumblr media
ā€œWhy is that?ā€
ā€œBecause I said soā€
Delling Rembran, father of statistics, everyone. ā€œWhat is a Gundamā€ is a delightful question, but it isnā€™t the focus of this exercise. My definitions of ā€œGundamā€ and ā€œGundam Pilotā€ exist because I needed a metric, theyā€™re not really designed to stand up to much scrutiny. Iā€™ve worked with enough statistics that Iā€™m aware you can usually skew them without too much bother, which is also why I donā€™t feel too bad about leaving out Turn A and Gundam X.
Lastly, Iā€™ve almost certainly missed something here, so feel free to message me and Iā€™ll adjust it accordingly.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 - 1 Gundam (RX-78). 1/1 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam - 6 Gundams (Three Mk-IIā€™s, Zeta and Psycho Gundamā€™s 1&2). 2/5 Pilots Survive - 40% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit ZZ Gundam - 4 Gundams (ZZ, Zeta, Mk-II and Psycho Gundam Mk-II). 3/4 Pilots Survive - 75% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Charā€™s Counterattack - 1 Gundam (Nu) 0/1 Pilots Survive - 0% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket - 1 Gundam (NT-1 Alex). 1/1 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam F91 - 1 Gundam (F91). 1/1 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory - 3 Gundams (Gp01,2 and 3). 1/2 Pilots Survive - 50% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Victory Gundam - Could someone whoā€™s watched Victory lately come back to me with how many Gundamā€™s are in that series (and their pilots), because Iā€™ve genuinely no clue off the top of my head. I know itā€™s at least Six (V, V2, Other V2, then at least three Victory Gundam Hexaā€™s).
Mobile Fighter G Gundam - 50 Gundams (Fuck that). 22/38 Pilots Survive - 57.89% Survival Rate.
New Mobile Report Gundam Wing - 11 Gundams (Wing, Deathscythe, Heavyarms, Sandrock, Shenlong, their upgrades and Epyon). 6/6 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz - 5 Gundams (as above, minus Epyon). 5/5 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team - 4 Gundams (Three Ground Types and EZ8). 3/3 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Gundam SEED - 11 Gundams (5 first gen, 3 second gen, Providence). 4/9 Pilots Survive - 44.44% Survival Rate.
Gundam SEED Destiny - 11 Gundams. 6/10 Pilots Survive - 60% Survival Rate
Gundam SEED C.E. 73: Stargazer - 4 Gundams. 3/5 Pilots Survive - 60% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00 - 14 Gundams. 5/11 Pilots Survive - 45.45% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam 00: Awakening of the Trailblazer - 4 Gundams (00 Quanta, Zabanya, Harute and Raphael). 5/5 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn - 3 Gundams (Unicorn, Banshee and Delta Plus). 2/2 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative - 2 Gundams (Phenex and Narrative). 1/2 Pilots Survive - 50% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - 5 Gundams (Four AGEā€™s and Legillis). 3/5 Pilots Survive - 60% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight Axis - 1 Gundam (Tristan). 1/1 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam G-Reconguista - 3 Gundams (G-Self, G-Arcane, G-Lucifer) 4/4 Pilots Survive - 100% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans - 12 Gundams (Barbatos, Gusion, Kimaris, Flauros and Bael). 1/6 Pilots Survive - 16.67% Survival Rate.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury - 10 Gundams (Aerialā€™s, Lfrithā€™s, Schwarzette, Pharact and Calibarn). 5/11 Pilots Survive - 45.45% Chance Survival Rate.
Total Number of Gundams - 163
Overall Pilot Survival Rate - 85/138 Pilots Survive- 61.59% Chance Survival Rate.
(As above, not counting Turn A and Gundam X). That is lower than I expected. I believe itā€™s because most series either lose around half their pilots or few-to none at all. So either the series that keep all or most of their small amount of pilots will push the average up to over halfway, or the series that kill half or more of their pilots will pull the average down.
Highlights and anomalies.
All those odd little decisions that mess with the metrics of this exercise.
Pilot Survivability - Any cases where the survival of a character is ambiguous, but a later work clears it up, I went for the later interpretation, since Iā€™m looking at overall survivability, so Milliardo and CCA Amuro get to count as alive and dead, respectively.
What is survival? - continued sentient existence, flesh not required. I really wasnā€™t expecting this to come up as much as it did. Tieria Erde (00) and Ericht Samaya (Wfm) both continue living as a virtual consciousness, so are classed as surviving for the purposes of this exercise. In the same vein, Kamille Bidan is counted as surviving (because Iā€™m personally fond of the idea of him getting better).
Best Available Pilots - due to the precise shakedown of pairing pilots to mobile suits, both Lieutenant Quattro Bajeena and Lasse Aeon are on this list, under Zeta and 00, respectively. Quattro because he pilots one of the stolen Gundam Mk-II units briefly, and Lasse because though the 0 Gundamā€™s ā€œmainā€ pilot to my mind is Ribbons Almark, he already has the Reborns Gundam, and thus Lasse qualifies for the 0 Gundam.
SEED Destiny - I was really bad at remembering how many Gundamā€™s and how many pilots for this one. I fully forgot about Andrew Waltfeld and Mu La Flaga, and about how many Destroy Gundams the Earth Sphere alliance pulls out later in the series. I eventually just split the difference and added Andrew Waltfeld and a single Destroy Gundam (It was something like a 0.2 percent difference to the overall survival percentage).
Gundam 00 and Innovades - You can single-handedly mess up this entire excercise if you expand your qualification of Gundam to encompass the GNZ suits used by the Innovators in Gundam 00, since that includes the Gaga. You know, the suit that has a 95% casualty rate across literal hundreds of pilots? Iā€™m not saying you should, but it was on my mind as I made this list.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam - was more complicated than expected. I was fully aware SEED Destiny would be tricky, but I forgot about G Gundam in the process. Iā€™m reasonably confident in my count of Gundams - I only counted the Devil Gundam and Master Gundam once, not the Kowloon or Ultimate Gundam, and I didnā€™t count any of the combined units (like the Grand Master Gundam). Iā€™ll list my Gundam Fighter math in a re-blog, since this is already a bit long.
I truly do not understand where the idea that most Gundam protagonists die came from. Iā€™ve even seen self-proclaimed fans warn newcomers that almost every Gundam protagonist dies, when that is patently not true!

Although the writing is undoubtedly worse compared to its predecessor, gundam seed destiny's visual design is brilliant
Mu looks hot now
Lacus looks old enough to be a public figure
The ginn high maneuver type 2 is almost definitely the best the ginn has ever looked
Although lazy in concept, the zaku warrior is one of the best zaku designs there is
The 3/5 zaft gundams are all very zaft looking,
the abyss has side sections highly reminiscent of the ZnO and the GOOhN
the gaia's beam wings are an obvious evolution of the LaGOWE's wings and melee weaponry
the impulse looks like a more advanced but also standardized version of the freedom with the two sharing a similar chest shape
The saviour looks like not much seen before in terms of zaft transformable ms nor zaft gundams, However its legs are rather similar to the legend's, its beam saber placement is obviously inspired by the justice's beam boomerangs and the chest V is shared with the impulse
The chaos can be best described as not zaft in the least, it has the forbidden's colours, an omni machine, the legs from the aegis, a omni machine, and the top half inspired by a moebeus zero, an omni machine aswell, around the only zaft thing is the side skirts which seem to be the freedom's but without the rail guns
The legend is brilliant because it is simultaneously more advanced than the providence but looks less advanced with fewer dragoons and less exadurated features, symbolic of rey as lesser than rau
The sheild that the destiny throws away is brilliant because shin throws it away whenever it gets in his way, just like how he discarded athrun when he believed he had surpassed him in power level
The fatum 01 has actual use as an offensive weapon in space now and the infinite justice's sheild is brilliant as it uses its physical nature to its advantage to store weapons while still having a beam sheild emitter
