ooc. what if yeong decides to put an end to her 'constant reviving'? just one life with the person she chose to be with? she does not care if she loses whatever but if she can stop getting removed from plains of existence and revived into new ones with new life without ever knowing how she felt about the people around her in her previous life ...
homie what if ..................... caleb is some sort of 'guardian' over this entity because otherwise, his motif, his background (what we know) is meaningless to be offed so easily like that.
>>>>>>>>>>>>Fruit trees, and particularly apples, come up time and again in myth and legend, some more obscurely, whilst some we just take for granted in our modern life. References such as ‘the apple of my eye’ have deep roots in folklore associated with the apple being a symbol of love, friendship and purity, whilst in other situations this has been interpreted into the Apple being a symbol of temptation – Adam and Eve, or wickedness – the Wicked Queen trying to kill Snow White with a poisoned apple. [s.c]
caleb was given the telkensis evol hence air and my brain is telling me that this evol is close to sky, to celestial beings, aka angels of some sort?????? we could argue the light evol for xayxay is related too with his moon motif too but im talking about my man caleb here weee
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>In almost every country the apple is regarded as a sacred, magical or holy fruit, a symbol of fruitfulness, a means to immortality, a cure for all ills and a gift of love. An ‘Apple for the teacher’ may show their worth; ‘an Apple a day keeps the doctor away’ – the cure-all properties (although with concerns over acid erosion in teeth nowadays – it may also keep the dentist happy! [ibid]
apple. sacred. caleb. sacred. caleb some sort of sacred entity? SACRED ENTITY'S GUARDIAN WEEE.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Teutonic Mythology: The god Bragi was distinguished for his nobility and wisdom. He married Idun, the goddess of eternal youth and the guardian of the "golden apples." Her magic prevented the gods from aging. ... In the Bible: The apple tree was regarded as the Tree of Knowledge and Tree of Immortality.[s.c.]
not aging ... not dying ... immortality... naruhudo mhm.
never forget the arabian night's story of the apple that cures all kind of diseases. BIG SIGH... i want caleb back ....... i really.. if he didnt die i'd have to main him so badly sobs. listen... im weak to that kind of floofy energy waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!
but yeah. maybe he can come out later on to help put an end to this tragic cycle of everlasting life which always ends at a young age and rest again to suffer again the love and care and attachment then death. then rest.

Kozume Kenma x Hinata Shoyuo
“High Five!”
Introduction
Tumblr media
*AN: hi I still don’t know how tumblr works :) but I found this prompt on TikTok and I H A D to write something. I am considering doing a reader insert with this prompt as well, as that’s typically what I write, but I’m trying something new and writing about my little guys 😃this is just an intro bc I did not have time to write a whole chapter. We will see if I have motivation to write this fr.*
Kenma walked through the hallways of his school, lit with the most annoying buzzing fluorescent lights that made his eyes squint. He continuously dodged the careless students walking through the hallways, brushing up against him as they walked. He always hated how crowded the school was. His personal space bubble had become non existent to them and that made him sick and yet he still gritted his teeth and gripped his bag, pulling it closer to his body, determined to make it to his destination.
Soulmates were a joke to someone who hated being touched. The fact that in order to find his soulmate he had to touch a stranger made his stomach twist and turn in ways that were unimaginable. Every time he looked in the mirror, the dark black handprint on his forehead taunted him.
“Great.”
He always thought.
“Guess I got myself a real keeper.”
He thinks, glaring at the mark. Most of his friends had beautiful handprints on their hands or on their shoulder. Most people met their soulmate through a soft brush of their knuckles or a comforting pat on the back. Kenma on the other hand would meet his through a swift slap on the forehead. Lucky him.
His eyes landed on the school gym, the place that he was told to meet after school. He hated practice matches after school. There were a thousand things he would rather be doing but here he was, standing next to his best friend, preparing to get on a bus to an unfamiliar location. ‘My favorite.’ He thought sarcastically.
He begrudgingly stepped outside and onto the bus, throwing himself down onto the seat and pulling out his PSP, praying that this would be over quicker. The faster this match was over, the faster he could go home and do things that actually mattered to him. He was determined to make this as quick and painless as possible, but unbeknownst to him, someone else had other plans.

@izumikoushiroweek: Day 2 - What are your Koushirou headcanons?
I probably have way too many headcanons for him to count, so I thought I'd be talking about 12, relating to each of the other Chosen Children and his Digimon partner.
Tentomon: As implied in this art, Tentomon has to remind Koushirou to not only use his PC set-up for work at times, but to get in touch with the outside world as well, including calling his parents. They maintain having a very loving bond and Koushirou actually enjoys talking to his family, even if he has that tendency to get lost in Chosen Children duty, thus pulling way too many allnighters in his office. Tentomon helps practicing to "talk about feelings" and such and since he was always integrated in almost all of Koushirou's activities as emotional support or "personal assistant" (aside from occasionally getting back into the server realm or Digital World to "recharge"), their bond has never vanished. (Practicing also includes hugs. Tentomon loves them dearly. Koushirou does too.)
Taichi: I probably have a million different headcanons when it comes to their bond, but I think one of the things I am particularly fond of is the idea that Taichi easily picked up on Koushirou's quirks and habits over the years - and that's why he notices stuff others don't realize that quickly. He is very particular about what exact brands of oolong tea Koushirou likes, that he cannot stand coffee or doesn't take alcohol very well. They also have tons of insiders and catchphrases other people just give them weird looks over. They're basically on each other's speed dial, especially considering they're working together as adults. And, last but not least, I think Taichi would be the very first human friend who learns about Koushirou's adoption history, being incredibly supportive about it. (One time, Yuuko probably said something along the lines of "If I could, I would already have adopted Koushirou-kun into our family" and Taichi almost flipped because of the wording, but Koushirou told him it was fine, since he knew she meant it well. They both get along with each other's moms very well by the way.)
Yamato: After they returned from the Digital World for the first time, Yamato actually fulfilled his (PSP game only) promise and showed Koushirou how to cook a few easy recipes (besides how to boil the perfect egg). While Koushirou will probably never be a master cook and prefers stuff that is easy to make/get and eat - and while working -, food is actually something they occasionally bond over. They may not be as passionate about it as Mimi and Daisuke, but they'd absolutely surprise the others with their very own curry creations.
Sora: I've probably mentioned this a million times already, but in my mind, they're destined to become "fashion (and texting) buddies". Takeru - as well as Mimi or Miyako - may be a hundred times more comfortable in being experimental, but these two definitely have to figure themselves out first and foremost, breaking some gender stereotypes in the meantime and would 100% be there for each other (while moping and bonding over Taichi's and Yamato's antics). Let Sora help Koushirou to find his own personal wardrobe while he would support her in getting her designs going digitally - once the time is right.
Mimi: Since Mimi slowly but steadily becomes more acquainted with technology through the years, it shouldn't be surprising that they're becoming "calling buddies". Mimi always preferred calling over typing and since Koushirou is helping her to set up her online business, they also end up chatting for hours without end about literally everything - and they absolutely suck at ending their calls. Mimi keeps telling Koushirou to rest, but she's terrible at just saying "Bye then!". Time zone differences make this even more of an issue and it often happens that one of them just falls asleep while the other rambles.
Jyou: Gomamon and Tentomon forced them to become "coffee shop buddies". I'm not kidding. They were so fed up with them burying themselves in uni/regular work that they ended up making them have "Go outside for a change, let's grab something to eat!!!" meetings once a month (at minimum, since Gomamon was done with cooking and wanted to get treats too and Tentomon loved the idea; occasionally they pull Sora and/or Taichi with them too). Since Jyou never felt intimidated by Koushirou's intellect but knows his struggles with "keeping his mental health together", they have an easy time blowing off some steam.
Takeru: Koushirou and Takeru actually grew closer with each other during "transition years" between middle and high school. With Taichi, Yamato and Sora facing high school entrance exams and eventually leaving middle school, Koushirou was more likely to spend time after school with "the 02 squad" for a while (and the two of them and Hikari would definitely have study sessions together at this point in time). Takeru is also among those who's more skilled with computers, which is why he's easily third admin of the Chosen Children network (with Miyako being second), but also likes to ask Koushirou for advice - who happily rambles along (and they're also "meme buddies", sending each other random stuff in the middle of the night they came across and thought the other would find interesting). Takeru will also be among the first who gets to hear about his adoption history in more detail and he'll absolutely feel more attached to Koushirou because of it.
Hikari: Aside from me being convinced that he is archiving all the photos she's been taking in the Digital World for years (while also helping her to set up her own digital photobooks), one of my favourite headcanons is that Hikari's the main reason why Koushirou turned out to be "a cat person"; he has been around the Yagami residence way too many times in his life and probably thought he couldn't really "get along" with cats in general. But Miko, after having been reluctant at first, warmed up to him rather quickly after Hikari kept her around in the same room as them. So the cat would just end up resting next to him while he was typing away on his laptop. (Sometimes he watches Tentomon curling into a ball when falling asleep next to him and Koushirou cannot help but feel reminded of a cat as well and he finds it adorable.)
Daisuke: Despite Ken being the closest person to him overall, Daisuke has had a hard time talking to Koushirou for YEARS, still having a tendency of wanting to appear extra smart in front of him. It was a lot easier when Taichi, Ken or Mimi were around, he could talk normally then, but even worse when Takeru was there too, because he felt double-intimidated. Koushirou noted that behaviour, didn't get it though, so Taichi had to explain it to him in a sense of "Imagine being the new kid in football club that thinks he can't kick a ball if the ace striker is watching him", to which Koushirou just nodded. They absolutely met for a football match a few days later - and that's how Koushirou ended up in goal, Daisuke, who scored numerous goals against him, started to act a lot less tense afterwards.
Ken: Imagining a scenario in which Menoa gets redeemed (and maybe after they find a way to get their partners back), I could see Koushirou and Ken being very keen to make her realize that she should also rather invest her intellect in improving the infrastructure between the worlds instead of harbouring feelings of vengeance and bitterness... They're all smart muffins with bug babies after all. (And Koushirou would definitely be interested in figuring out why both Ken and Menoa were so prone to "getting corrupted" while he himself was mostly spared... They're not exactly prone to trauma dumping, Ken in particular struggles with it a lot, but that's another case of "once he knows Koushirou's back story, it gets easier to open up.")
Miyako: Miyako pretends that she's bothered by Chosen Children Network duty a lot, and it maaaay be a bit bothersome at times, but the truth is that she felt intimidated by all the effort Koushirou put into it. Aside from Iori, she always looked up to him as senpai the most and didn't want to appear incapable in comparison. If Koushirou didn't know he could entrust it to her, he would have given it to Takeru first, but despite her spunky, sometimes unpredictable nature, he trusted in her judgement and communicative skills from the start without a doubt.
Iori: By the start of his uni life, Iori really values the privacy of Koushirou's office to use it as study space - especially because he's getting resources there for law school he wouldn't easily get access to without spending horrendous amounts of money. And because they just enjoy each other's company, being a lot more grounded than the rest of their friends. Just like in middle school, they end up having study sessions, often joined by Takeru, but also occasionally by Ken, going through several of their study subjects - sometimes they even go for outside activities (because Koushirou is most likely not used to those anymore and needs to keep up on physical training too - when they get the opportunity, they take Jyou with them too).

Persona 2 Innocent Sin for the Sony PSP presents unique narrative rich with psychological and metaphysical themes that invite a deep philosophical analysis. This game, the second in the Persona series, explores complex issues such as the nature of self, the power of rumor and belief, and the intersection of fate and free will, all of which can be examined through the lenses of existentialism, pragmatism, and postmodernism. The game's main characters, including Tatsuya Suou, Maya Amano, Lisa Silverman, Eikichi Mishina, and Jun Kurosu, each embody distinct philosophical inquiries.
1. Existential Themes and the Construction of Self: "Persona 2: Innocent Sin" dives into existential questions of identity and authenticity. Jean-Paul Sartre’s concept of 'existence precedes essence' is central to understanding the characters' journeys, particularly Tatsuya's struggle with his past and future selves. Sartre's assertion that people are condemned to be free, forced to choose and define their essence, resonates with Tatsuya's confrontation with his own actions and their consequences, embodying the existential burden of freedom and choice.
2. Pragmatism and the Power of Belief: The game's central mechanic, where rumors become reality, aligns closely with William James's pragmatism, specifically his idea that the truth of an idea is determined by its practical effects. In "Persona 2," the collective beliefs and rumors of the population reshape reality, suggesting that truth is a social construct influenced by communal consent rather than objective fact. This mechanism is a literal manifestation of James’s claim that beliefs are true if they prove useful. Lisa Silverman's and Eikichi Mishina's personal struggles with identity and acceptance highlight how personal and societal beliefs can shape one's reality and self-perception.
3. Postmodernism and Narrative Identity: "Persona 2" also engages with postmodern themes, particularly through its exploration of narrative and the fluidity of identity. The game's plot, heavily reliant on the characters' perceptions and the mutable nature of truth, echoes Jean-François Lyotard's definition of the postmodern condition as one of skepticism towards grand narratives. Each character, including Jun Kurosu’s complex backstory and dual identities, serves as a case study in how narratives shape individual identity and social reality, emphasizing the postmodern idea that identity is a narrative construction rather than a fixed essence.
4. Nietzschean Perspectives on Power and Morality: Friedrich Nietzsche's ideas on morality, power, and the will to power are embodied in the game's darker themes, particularly in the characters' battles against demonic forces and their own darker impulses. Nietzsche's critique of traditional moral values and his emphasis on the creation of one’s own values are reflected in the characters' rejection of their destined paths and their decisions to forge their own futures, challenging the predetermined narrative laid out by higher powers.
5. The Dialectic of Freedom and Fate: The tension between fate and free will in "Persona 2" invites a Hegelian dialectical analysis. Hegel’s philosophy, which posits that freedom is the recognition of necessity (the necessity of the world's rational structure), can be applied to understand the characters' gradual realization and acceptance of their roles in the world. Maya Amano, in particular, embodies the Hegelian journey toward achieving freedom through the synthesis of personal desires (thesis) and the realities of the world (antithesis).
6. The Ethics of Memory and Forgetting: Lastly, the game’s exploration of memory and forgetting taps into ethical questions explored by philosophers like Avishai Margalit on the ethics of remembering. The game challenges characters to decide what should be remembered and what should be forgotten, raising questions about the moral implications of memory and the role of forgetting in healing and identity.
In conclusion, "Persona 2: Innocent Sin" offers a rich narrative canvas for philosophical exploration, touching on existentialism, pragmatism, postmodernism, Nietzschean philosophy, Hegelian dialectics, and the ethics of memory. Through its complex characters and unique narrative mechanics, the game provides a profound commentary on the nature of self, the power of belief, and the interplay between fate and free will, inviting players to reflect on the profound philosophical questions embedded in its world and story.

⭑ i can definitely see him trying new things at least once because you'll never know if you like something if you don't try it
⭑ i also feel like oikawa enjoys playing video games but he's not very good at them
⭑ see: the official art of him playing on his psp with the rest of seijoh where he clearly looks like he's losing

⭑ he'd love to travel the world with you and go sightseeing
⭑ there'd be a lot of effort spent creating a shared bucket list of countries and places you'd both want to visit
⭑ there might be a time where you two get lost in a foreign country
⭑ blame it on the gps because why would it say to turn right when there's literally no right turn
⭑ oikawa would be using broken phrases of the country's language to get help from passersby and find your way to the intended destination
⭑ overall, the entire experience, including getting lost, is what makes the whole trip fun
⭑ as much as he'd like sightseeing bustling cities, oikawa would also like to relax in the countryside with you and use it as a way to get a break from his hectic and busy life

TSKR (and Ryoma): The Tongue Parasites/ Shirokiri Hill
Preface
RAUUGHHH TIME TO BITE THE BULLET AND TALK ABOUT THIS FINALLY! I keep putting it off but no longer...
This is just one of the couple chapter ideas I have! Haven't planned out the chronology of these things, but when I do! I'll add the order and links in a reblog.
Premise
Also psps this is the version for the live action, the animanga version goes a bit differently.
TWS: animal death, injury, blood, body horror
Rohan and Ryoma investigate rumours of a mysterious site, unaware of the dangers right under their noses.
Exposition
The site in question is one Shirokiri hill (Shiro meaning white, kiri meaning fog.)
Shirokiri is remarkably colder than the surrounding area, creating a dense fog from the differing temperatures, hence the name.
According to rumours, Shirokiri hill is said to have several extinct species of animals, including several non-native to Japan.
Legends tell the tale of a blood-sucking monster that lives within Shirokiri. It's physical description varies greatly, but it's commonly described as a thin quadruped with pale, blue-white eyes.
Shirokiri is currently unpopulated, (with the exception of one family) but it used to be home to some 10,000 inhabitants in the 18th century.
Plot
Mid-day. Rohan and Ryoma ride in on a bumpy car. It was a long, uncomfortable car ride (which you only see the tail end of) but the air is noticeably thick. Ryoma keeps positive, making polite chatter with their chauffeur. It's like talking to a wall, but they keep going. Nervous habit of theirs. Rohan doesn't care to mask his boredom, choosing to stare idly out the window.
As they roll into their destination, a building comes into view. Shirokiri's one and only inn. Rohan and Ryoma unload their bags. The car vanishes into the mist the minute they turn their backs.
They are greeted by the innkeeper, an elderly woman. She was off-putting, to say the least, but she seemed kind, and this was the only place they could stay, so they got settled.
Ryoma asked for neighboring rooms, but her request was denied as (including them) it was a full house. It surprised them, but maybe Shirokiri wasn't as obscure as they thought it was. The rooms they ended up with couldn't be farther away from each other.
Most guests stayed in their rooms, but Ryoma did see a bald man and a young couple in the common room. The man didn't respond to her, he seemed not to even know she existed. The couple was pretty nice, though. Pretty normal.
Rohan decided to explore the area, and Ryoma came with. They didn't find much, and there wasn't much to see because of the fog. The cold eventually beckoned the disappointed Rohan and Ryoma back to the inn.
They had already eaten that day, so they skipped dinner and headed to their rooms to freshen up. Before heading to Rohan's room, Ryoma decided to stay in the common room. They were hoping to get some information about Shirokiri, maybe some accounts of the strange phenomenon, but the inn was empty. It was noticeable. Earlier, there had been noticeable rustling, movement inside the rooms, but it was gone.
Ryoma decided to gather her bedspread and asked Rohan to stay in his room for the night. He would've said no, if it were anyone else but Ryoma. It wouldn't be the first time they'd had this sleeping arrangement, and he wouldn't admit it, but he was relieved to have Ryoma by his side that night. They set up on the tatami next to Rohan (6 feet apart cos they're not gay /j) And laid down.
It was unbearably cold inside of the inn. It somehow felt colder than the outside. Rohan kept complaining about it, and after laying uncomfortably for a bit, Ryoma decided to do something about it. Ryoma searched around the inn with their phone's flashlight. They found what seemed like a heater inside of a dusty kitchen. Before they could touch it, however-
Thump.
Ryoma spun around to see a glimpse of the innkeeper before she grabbed Ryoma and pulled her out of the room. The sliding door shut loudly behind them. For a frail, elderly woman she was rather strong. And so angry. She informed them the heater was broken. They stammered out an apology and speedwalked to their room.
Rohan noticed Ryoma's frazzled state when they returned. They recounted the strange experience and Ryoma had to talk him down from confronting the innkeeper. They agreed to leave by tomorrow if Rohan hadn't found anything Pink Dark Boy worthy. They were both uneasy, and not in the fun, supernatural kind of way.
Ryoma eventually fell asleep, unlike Rohan. He shifted restlessly, clutching at his blankets (+ one of Ryo's blankets, and their jacket) until the sun came up.
Ryoma woke up to him nudging them awake. They felt as if they were part of the room. The overnight humidity and cold had made them stick to their bedding, so after tugging themself free, they joined Rohan for breakfast. (Dead people problems...)
Breakfast was.... interesting. It was pinkish grey, mysterious mush. They were unable to identify what it could've possibly been made of. Maybe some kind of meat? Whatever it was, they were positive it was moldy. Rohan refused to touch it and gave the innkeeper some choice words (to not much of a response.) but Ryoma tried to appear sympathetic, and sneakily made the contents of their plates disappear. (Film powers).
Ryoma and Rohan went out into the wilderness, more as a way to escape the inn before they were picked up. They explored a bit, found nothing and then Ryoma remembered shed forgotten something in the room. They were pretty close by, so Ryoma felt safe going by themself.
Ryoma returned to the inn, and searched her room. It wasn't there, so she begrudgingly went to the front desk to ask. The innkeeper did have it, a woven bracelet (gift from Tomoko) and it was returned. Ryoma thanked her and asked where it was found, just as a nicety. They recalled slipping it off in Rohan's room, but it could've been a false memory. The innkeeper responded, confirming her original thought. She then asked Ryoma why their bags were missing from the room. (Both Rohan's and theirs)
Ryoma froze. They didn't want to tell her they were planning on leaving soon, but they couldn't come up with an answer on the spot. As they were thinking of an excuse to give her, they felt something grab her from behind.
Rohan had finally found something of substance. In the short time Ryoma was gone, he decided to pace the perimeter. That was when he found it. An animal carcass, vaguely dog-like. He wasn't sure what it was, but it reeked of decay, and peculiar puncture wounds decorated its body. The description matched the calling card of the Shirokiri monster. Before he could get excited though, he noticed something odd. The animal had snagged a piece of fabric in its jaws, and upon further inspection it matched the patterned fabric the innkeeper wore. As if on cue, he heard a scream.
Rohan ran in as quickly as he could. A severed hand flew past his head. Ryoma, now Gadzooks, had stood above two dismembered bodies, chopped to bits and flailing uselessly. They were covered in blood, but only their own. It dripped from a puncture wound between her shoulder and neck, and lower, by their right ankle.
They both noticed the pitter-patter of footsteps a little too late. Quickly, they became surrounded by a multitude of people, slack jawed and glossy eyed. Then finally, Rohan saw it. As they encroached, he spotted small, bug-like creatures poking out of their mouths.
Tumblr media
Rohan had heard of this type of parasite, but it was only observed in fish. This was an evolved version of it that attaches to, and seemingly controls humans.
Gadzooks mowed down a couple more parasites, but it was bitten again in the process. (Similar to leeches, these parasites have an anticoagulant agent present in their saliva which allows them to feed.) They were too many of them, and it was slowing down incrementally. Fighting them was fruitless, but what could it do? Rohan had the idea to make one fight the others, but he was unable to write in its pages, (The pages were black, like the dead.) The attempt got him bitten, twice.
Things were seeming hopeless, until Gadzooks (unintentionally) rubbed its blades together, creating sparks. The parasites jumped back, and some emitted a high pitched screech. Gadzooks got the clue, and did it again. The same happened. It quickly formulated a plan. Gadzooks pointed Rohan in the direction of the old, dingy kitchen. Rohan understood the plan.
He rummaged around the room and was able to find a decently sized jar of some kind of oil. The thing looked ancient, but it should definitely work.
Gadzooks did a good job of fending them off with the sparks, but the trick was beginning to wear off. Just in time, Rohan was back with the oil. Gadzooks took it, threw it at the entrance, splashing the parasites with the substance. It rubbed its blades together, and quickly there was fire.
The inn brightened with flames, parasites alight fled in the opposite direction. They weren't able to go far. Even those that were untouched by the fire perished from the heat.
Gadzooks stepped out of the inn, swiping away flames that had lingered on their clothes. Rohan went out a moment later batting at his clothes. It glanced at him, but didn't bother to help. Rohan ends up discarding his (very expensive) burning coat.
The two walk down the hill together in silence. Both bleeding, one cold. They find the car they arrived in half-way down, empty. Very lucky, as Gadzooks was just about the collapse. Its out like a light the moment it sits on the passengers seat. Rohan drives to safety, the inn and its residents burning away, still.

A young man asked his grandfather, "Grandpa, how did you live in the past without technology . . . without computers without drones without bitcoins without Internet connection without TVs without air conditioners without cars without mobile phones?" Grandpa answered: "Just as your generation lives today . . . no prayers, no compassion, no respect, no GMRC, no real education, poor personality, there is no human kindness, there is no shame, there is no modesty, there is no honesty. We, the people born between the years 1930-1980, were the blessed ones. Our lives are a living proof." ¶ While playing and riding a bike, we have never worn a helmet. ¶ after school we did our homework ourselves and we always played in meadows until sunset ¶ We played with real friends, not virtual friends. ¶ If we were thirsty, we would drink frim the fountain, from the waterfalls, faucet water, not mineral water. ¶ We never worried and get sick even as we shared the same cup or plate with our friends. ¶ We never gained weight by eating bread and pasta every day. ¶ Nothing happened to our feet despite walking barefoot. ¶ We never used food supplements to stay healthy. ¶ We used to make our own toys and play with them. ¶ Our parents were not rich. They gave us love, not material gifts. ¶ We never had a cell phone, DVD, PSP, game console, Xbox, video games, PC, laptop, internet chat . . . but we had true friends. ¶ We visited our friends without being invited and shared and enjoyed the food with their family. Parents lived nearby to take advantage of family time. ¶ We may have had black and white photos, but you can find colorful memories in these photos. ¶ We are a unique and the most understanding generation, because we are the last generation that listened to their parents. And we are also the first ones who were forced to listen to their children.~ We are limited edition. Take advantage of us. Learn from us. We are a treasure destined to disappear soon

[The center of the city, one of the busiest places during the day with a bunch of trolls walking around to reach their destinations, ignoring things that don't concern them. It was the place Cintia hated the most: loud, crowded and annoying. She respected her own personal space too much to stay in such a place for so long
]
[
but for some unknown reason a teal troll was there, in the center of the city. She was sitting at the bench in front of the fountain, holding her PSP tightly in her hands. The game was probably played before it was paused, quiet music was heard from speakers. Her head was lowered, bangs covering half of her face, so it was hard to say what kind of expression she had.]
[Finally a heavy sign was heard from her.]
“It’s useless
”
[Cintia mumbled. She felt irritated.]

Exploring videos that replace Touken Ranbu's music with Hakuoki's Hanamaru version 🌾🌾🌾
Personally, I found that some of Aika's songs fit some of the Hanamaru endings better than the original ones. Since some of the imagery of the EDs is so melancholic while the song is so upbeat just didn't seem to fit very well together
Song List (with links)
Hanamaru Opening = Hakuouki Yuugiroku DS Opening
Kashuu and Yasusada's ED = Hakuouki Zuisouroku PS Vita ED
Oda-gumi ED = Hakuouki Movie 2 ED
Toushirou Siblings ED = Hakuouki Zuisouroku PSP ED
Kane-san & Horikawa ED = Hakuouki Reimeiroku PS3 OP
Mikazuki Munechika ED = Hakuouki Zuisouroku PS2 ED
Otegine ED = Hakuouki Yuugiroku 2 OP
Nikkari Aoe ED = Hakuouki Kyoto Winds ED
Imanotsurugi & Iwatooshi ED = Hakuouki Kyoukaroku PS Vita ED
Rai siblings ED = Hakuouki Yuugiroku ED
Yamatonokami Yasusada ED = Hakuouki Anime OP 1
Yasusada leaves for Kiwame = Hakuouki Kaikoroku iOS/Android OP
Hanamaru season Finale ED = Hakuouki Yuugiroku DS Opening
My personal favorites are the Toshirou siblings, Mikazuki's and Kashuu, and Yasusada's ED.
The song in the Toushirou siblings' ending fits with the imagery really well and highlights really well how much the siblings miss Ichi-nii.
The song for Mikazuki's ending is called Sora no Kagami meaning "Mirror of the Sky" or "Sky's Mirror". There is a lot of reflection and night sky imagery in Mikazuki's ending and it honestly fits so perfectly together. 🌙
The song for Kashuu and Yasusada's ending talks about destiny and being born to meet. Souji in Tsukikage talks about destined swords for a samurai and how he wanted Yasusada because he felt that Yasusada was his destined sword. Also when the music swells into that guitar rift and shows Yasusada standing proud with the sakura petals falling around him, leaves such an impact. ❀
also yeah...the person who made the video didn't know how to edit out the Tourabu OST during the scene where they fight the Keiibishi before replacing it with the Hakuouki OST. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ eh, it is what it is
which one is your favorite? \(ïżŁïž¶ïżŁ*\))

Tactics Ogre Reborn accessibility review
Game title: Tactics Ogre Reborn (Let Us Cling Together)
Platform(s): Windows, Steam Deck, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5.
The original version was released on PlayStation 1 and then on PSP, and is also playable on the PlayStation Vita. It was also released on Super Famicom and Sega Saturn in Japan.
Languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, and traditional and simplified Chinese
Age rating: ESRB T, PEGI 12
Genre/theme: Strategy RPG; Tactics Ogre Reborn is a turn-based tactical role playing game played on a grid overlaying the landscape. Characters choose to move, attack, or wait on their turn. Throughout the course of the game many characters of varying classes (and dragons) will rally to your cause, these characters can all learn a variety of skills and magic as they level up. The story begins with a brewing civil war following the king’s death; three factions (one of which you control) rise up to fight for dominance of the Valerian Isles.
Violence: Mild; fantasy violence including melee weapons, bows, and magic. Mild blood, but no gore.
Maturity: Mild language and sexuality. No nudity, drugs, or alcohol.
Phobias: Blood/gore: Mild blood, but no gore. Drowning: None Heights: The camera angle is a fixed position angled down from several stories up. Characters can drop down a fairly decent height to the lower levels of the battle terrain. Sharks: None Spiders: None Underwater: None
Multiplayer: None; single player only.
Difficulty modes: None; training mode allows you to earn experience points and level up before going into the real battle. This game has perma-death when characters fall in battle, so keeping them alive and healed is critical.
Complexity: Medium; requires tactical decision making, knowledge of weapon and elemental advantages/disadvantages, and turn order monitoring.
Instructions, saving, story recap, menus, & waypoints: There is no physical instruction manual in the case. The game begins by asking your birthday, drawing several tarot cards, and then asking you a few multiple choice questions. The tutorial section introduces you to Recovery Time (RT), and how units with the lowest RT move first. The move order is called Attack Turn (AT), commands such as Move, Act, and Use Skills can be selected during your turn. There are four categories of skills: Action, Support, Auto, and Special. Units learn skills as they gain levels, according to their class.
The tutorial also introduces you to the world map, where you choose your destination. There is a Main Menu available on the world map that allows you to save your progress, and you can also access the same options menu from the start screen. Tactics Ogre Reborn will periodically autosave, but it’s generally best to make use of multiple manual saves. You will only be controlling one character in battle for the first few missions before the game opens up to strategizing the actions of your entire team.
Character classes can be changed, this requires using a classmark. Each class can learn different skills and wear different types of armor. The “Warren Report” can be accessed on the world map screen for detailed information regarding characters, world lore, and battle techniques.
Subtitles: Yes; subtitles are utilized.
Text customization: The default dialogue text is a medium-sized italicized and capitalized black font on a white text window, it’s readable but honestly not the clearest text. Unfortunately there are no customizable dialogue text options.
Message Speed can be set to Normal or Instant. Automate Battle Messages and Auto Advance Messages can all be turned on/off. Additionally, Weather Notifications, Action Notifications, and Level Up Notifications can also be turned on/off. Charm Use Confirmation dialogue and Context Icon can be turned on/off as well.
Voice acting: Fully voice-acted in both English and Japanese.
Volume settings: Master Volume, Music, Environment, Effects, System, Voice, and Mouseover Volume can all be set from 0–100. Play Voices can be turned on/off.
Photosensitivity: There are flashing lights in the opening cinematic, this can be skipped though. There is a fairly bright splash animation effect when entering a level. Torches and the area surrounding them have a mild flicker effect.
Characters flash bright white when hit in battle. Lightning and ice magic attacks make use of intense flashing light animations, I had to look away immediately every time these spells were used. Auto Skill Animations can be set to Default or Simple; Simple has a less intense animation, but it’s really not a whole lot easier on the eyes.
The lightning weather effect was too much for me, and I ended up selling this game. If you’re medium-high photosensitive I honestly don’t recommend buying or playing this game, unless you don’t mind playing it on extremely dim brightness and low contrast settings.
These can be remedied a bit by playing in a well-lit room and adjusting screen brightness (TV & in-game), backlight (TV), contrast (TV), and color settings (TV). Additionally, wearing blue light lens glasses, tinted lens glasses, or even sunglasses may be helpful.
Motion-sickness and camera: The camera is a steady angled-down perspective, I didn’t experience any motion-sickness. Auto-Center Selection can be turned on/off, which doesn’t center the screen on the selected destination or target. Note that the background and character graphics are noticeably blurrier on the Nintendo Switch version than on other consoles and PC.
Colorblindness mode: None; color settings can only be adjusted in TV settings.
Controller rumble: Yes; can be set from 0–100.
Remappable controls: 100% fully remappable, all buttons can be reassigned.
Quick-time events: None
Physical impact: Light; can be played comfortably for extended periods of time.
Adaptability and input: Controls are simple, well spaced out, and can be fully customized. The majority of the controls are thumb input, so gamers with thumb or thumb joint struggles may have to set the controller on their lap and play using their fingers but this is definitely doable. Can be played one-handed or with feet.
Can be played with two Switch Joycon controllers, two controller-docked Joycon controllers, handheld-docked Joycon controllers, Switch Pro controller, USB keyboard (keyboard shortcut bindings can be set on console and PC), mouse (mouse sensitivity and cursor size can be set on console and PC), Gamecube controller, Sony Dualshock 4 controller (adapter required to use on Switch), Sony DualSense 5 controller, Xbox One controller, Xbox One Bluetooth Controller (adapter required to use on Switch), Xbox Series X/S controller, Wii U Pro Controller (adapter required to use on Switch), and Steam Deck controller. No touchscreen or voice control functionality.
The original version can be played (thanks to backwards compatibility) with the PlayStation 1 controller, PlayStation 1 dualshock controller, PlayStation 2 dualshock controller, PlayStation 3 dualshock controller, Sony PSP, and Sony PlayStation Vita.
To read more about how you can pair different controllers with the Nintendo Switch and with PC, check out my post on the topic: https://medium.com/@AbleGaming/how-to-use-your-favorite-console-controllers-on-nintendo-switch-and-pc-and-how-to-use-your-switch-64d7a7bc7b7f
Overall accessibility score: 2.8/5.0 (Please note that this score does not reflect the entertainment or enjoyment value of the game, it represents the range of accessibility for gamers who have specific limitations.)
Tactics Ogre Reborn is available to play on a wide range of consoles and controllers, as is also the case with its earlier versions. This new version of Tactics Ogre features a talented completely voice-acted cast of characters, in both English and Japanese. The laid-back nature of strategy RPGs allows for choosing your characters’ actions in your own time, which makes for a low physical impact gaming experience that can be enjoyed for lengthy sessions. Additionally, the controls can be completely remapped and customized. The angled-down camera perspective is steady and there are thankfully no motion-sickness concerns to be found.
Unfortunately, Tactics Ogre Reborn suffers from several regularly occurring photosensitivity concerns, and I honestly wouldn’t recommend purchasing or playing the game if you have medium-high photosensitivity. You may be able to play it with incredibly low brightness and contrast settings, but the screen would have to be very dim to counteract all of the flashing effects. Additionally, the default text font is italicized and isn’t super easy to read, with no customization options either. Sadly, these issues were too intense and too prevalent for me to be able to play and fully enjoy this version of Tactics Ogre.

Major Persona 3 rant below:
I'm such a HUGE persona fan. And the thing is, Persona 5 has the best game mechanics, UI, and polish cuz it's the newest 1. But Persona 3 has always had the best story and characters BY FAR. The only thing working against it was the mechanics were outdated and unnecessarily difficult at times so plenty of people never gave it a try. So a persona 3 with an updated UI? I would kill for that. My wish has come true and I'm literally vibrating with excitement cuz of my adhd
Persona 3 Reload has the chance to become the best persona game ever made. And I'm fucking LOSING IT
I HIGHLY recommend Persona 3 Reload when it comes out next year. I know I have high expectations and could end up severely disappointed. But I feel like it's gonna be hard to mess it up? Like, yeah they have to update a lot of the stuff so I'm not too picky about certain mechanics. Just so long as the characters and story are faithful to the original, then I will be happy. Bare minimum: keep the story and characters the same and it will be an excellent game. Best possible option: they combine the better writing and FEMC from the psp rerelease with the epilogue they added into the FES rerelease to great the best version of the game
Persona 3 had 2 rereleases with addition content. First they had the version called FES which added in content called The Answer, which was a 60+ hour playable epilogue. Then they did a different version called Portable with the additional content being called FEMC, which involved a lot of rewriting of scenes in the base game. People have been debating which of those 2 versions is superior. FEMC or The Answer. I was always firmly in the opinion of the The Answer being better. Until recently when someone I follow on Tumblr made a very compelling argument for why FEMC is better. So I've been a little conflicted over which is my favorite. So the remake could just be the original base game, or they could add either or both of the extra content. Whichever way it goes will still be good. But I'm praying for them to add both The Answer and FEMC to make the ultimate best version of the game.
OH OOOOOOOHHHH
OOOOH MY GOOOOOOOOD
I JUST REALIZED
THEY COULD FUCKING
THEY HAVE THE OPTION
I don't know how to describe it. But they could finally FINALLY finish Elizabeth's storyline!!!!!!!!! I've spent the last 15 YEARS WAITING FOR ELIZABETH!!!!!
SO LIKE. OK. All the persona games r linked together. They r all canon but the characters from different games never interact or learn about the events of previous games so each one is very standalone. But there r call backs and references to previous games. The Velvet Room and it's master Igor r in every game. He never talks about the previous games but he is always there and very important. He also always has an assistant helping him. His assistant changes in every game. Elizabeth in P3, Theo in P3FES, Margaret in P4, Marie in P4Golden, twins Caroline and Justine in P5. P1 and P2 had unnamed and unimportant assistants. The assistants also reference each other cuz they r all family. So starting in P4, u meet Margaret and she mentions in passing about how she is taking over for her sister who went missing. Elizabeth went missing???? What is this new plotline???? Then Atlus made several spin-off games that were slight sequels to the base games. Like, Persona 4 Arena was a fighting-style spin-off that shows us what the characters r up to after the events of P4. Well, Elizabeth from P3 showed up as a playable character in Arena. And we learned about why she went missing. She has left on a quest of her own. To fix something that happened in P3. And her storyline in that game ends with this implication that what she is trying to achieve MIGHT be possible. That there is an end destination for this quest of hers. So when Persona 5 was first announced, lots of fans were excited and speculating on what the new developments would be in Elizabeth's story. Will she achieve her dream? Will she discover something that makes her goal completely impossible and tragic? We don't know.
No new games have mentioned Elizabeth's plotline AT ALL. Not fucking P5 or P5Royal or Dancing Star/Moon, or PQ or PQ2 or P5Stikers. NOTHING. FUCKING NO UPDATES AT ALL. Let me tell u, the fandom, and me in particular, is really pissed off about it. I NEED to know if she succeeds. So yeah. It just occurred to me that they could use the remake as a way to add an epilogue that finally FINALLY FINALLY addresses Elizabeth's quest. I'm all hyped up again. I calmed down for a bit but now I'm excited ALL OVER AGAIN. I will be SOOOOOO disappointed if they don't fucking mention it AT ALL
Ok. Fuck. Now that I really think about it. Her whole quest is about her trying to change something that happened at the end of the game. So I don't want to spoil it and am trying to be as vague as possible. There is a new direction they could take this game. And that is Time travel. Like, Elizabeth going back to the beginning and this whole remake could be the new timeline she is establishing so she could change the 1 thing. So most stuff would be the same but a major story plot point would be different. And it's not that wild of a theory either cuz Persona 2 established Time travel as a Thing. The whole plot of P2 revolved around time travel so it's completely possible. And now I'm really conflicted. Cuz I would love this to be an update on Elizabeth. But I would also like this to be a faithful retelling of the same story. Idk which way it's gonna go now
Tl:dr
Persona 3 Reload could go in so many directions. It could contain, in any combination, the base game, The Answer from FES, FEMC from Portable, and Elizabeth's post canon storyline. And I don't know which version I would be most excited for
Also I guess they announced a new Persona 5 game. But like, who cares

Past and Present Time
A young man asked his grandfather,
"Grandpa, how did you live in the past without technology . . .
without computers
without drones
without bitcoins
without Internet connection
without TVs
without air conditioners
without cars
without mobile phones?"
Grandpa answered:
"Just as your generation lives today . . .
no prayers,
no compassion,
no respect,
no GMRC,
no real education,
poor personality,
there is no human kindness,
there is no shame,
there is no modesty,
there is no honesty.
We, the people born between the years 1930-1980, were the blessed ones. Our lives are a living proof."
¶ While playing and riding a bike, we have never worn a helmet.
¶ after school we did our homework ourselves and we always played in meadows until sunset
¶ We played with real friends, not virtual friends.
And we are also the first ones who were forced to listen to their children.~
We are limited edition.
Take advantage of us. Learn from us. We are a treasure destined to disappear soon.
Good Morning and have a blessed DayđŸŒčđŸ„°đŸ˜đŸ’đŸŒč
