Yep, you heard right. Authors, Artists and Betas can start signing up now for SPN Canon Big Bang 2020!

What is Supernatural Canon Big Bang?

It’s an annual event in which everyone’s a VIP author or artist of Supernatural canon-based (non-AU) fan content crafted especially for this occasion.

The goal of the challenge is matching our fandom’s marvelous storytellers and visual creators in their quest to celebrate the universe, lore and characters we all know and love!

We welcome all kinds of canon-based stories, of any ratings and ships!

Who is it for?

Supernatural fanfic writers and fan-artists who love producing canon-based creations and re-experiencing the fine spn vintage.

Each author has to provide a fanfic taking place in the universe of The CW’s Supernatural. The minimum length of the fic depends on the chosen mini- or bigbang track (below).

As for the artists, in the process of claims, each will choose a fic to create art for. The required amount of pieces goes as follows:

Minibang - minimum 5,000 words; minimum 1 piece of art and a banner

Bigbang - minimum 15,000 words; minimum 2 pieces of art and a banner

The first time they landed in Purgatory, Dean was forced to leave the angel behind, oblivious to the many things that happened until Castiel escaped with the help of Heaven. Unknown to them are the Shadows lingering in the Forsaken Land, the tortured Souls that haunted the angel, only to be forgotten when Heaven attempted Castiel’s reform. Years later they dived back in Monster land with a mission to end the greatest manipulator, but with bond strained and brotherhood severed, how will Dean and Castiel reconcile? Especially when Dean wakes up to find the angel taken away by the Leviathans. There has to be something to save them before the tortured souls win another one in their number.

Injured and beaten, Dean remembers friendly advice inside a confessional a long time ago.
