Hi! I had two quick questions about one of my characters.

She lost one of her eyes as a child (she had it removed as a child due to cancer) and now she wears an eye prosthesis. She's a very friendly, outgoing, funny person and she's a fashion designer.

Question 1

I know a lot of people like to customize their canes/wheelchairs/etc. and have them in fun colors, put stickers on them, etc. and since she loves making and wearing tons of fancy, cool outfits, I thought it would be fun if she had customized eye prosthetics.

I've seen ones that look like gemstones, funky patterns, and even smiley faces and that seems like something she would love, but I'm not sure if that would be bad in some way?

I guess I just don't want it to come across as me saying disability aids need to look super cool and crazy or else they're boring? She does have a normal one that she wears most of the time, but sometimes she just likes to have fun with it and wear a wacky colorful one, especially when she's dressing up.

Question 2

She's a very funny person and she loves making jokes and pulling pranks. I know a lot of people with prosthetics like to make jokes with them (for example I've seen one of those "this outfit is super expensive" videos but the twist was that most of the cost came from their prosthetic arm, which they proceeded to swing around inside their shirt).

She's absolutely the kind of person to make those types of jokes, but I want to make sure it doesn't go too far or come off as offensive or rude.

One of the jokes I was thinking about is her pretending to sneeze, popping out the eye, and then going "omg I sneezed so hard my eye fell out!" only to reveal that it's a prosthetic.

Another one would be someone asking her to keep an eye on something and she goes "Yeah man I got this" so she pulls the prosthetic out and sets it down on whatever she's supposed to "keep an eye on".

(Don't worry she's going to clean the prosthesis after setting it on stuff lol).

Having custom prosthetic eyes is completely fine and, at least in my opinion, doesn't imply that they need to be cool/fashionable/fun/etc. It's just another way for your character to express herself!

Something to consider, however, (Especially if you're going for realism) is that prosthetic eyes are expensive and, depending on your character's circumstances, her insurance would likely only cover one (And a fairly simple/basic one at that). Custom made prosthetics are always going to be a lot more expensive and a lot less likely to be covered by her insurance.

You mentioned that she's a fashion designer, however... if she has some connections in the fashion community, she may have easier access to those kinds of prosthetics than other people would. Maybe she knows people that make them? Or maybe she can trade favours/designs for them? Either way, it could be a solution or even just an interesting plot avenue to explore.

In response to your second question, writing characters making jokes about their disabilities is fine but you want to be careful about how you go about it -- especially if you're not disabled in that way yourself. It's a bit of a balancing act to make sure your character isn't being written to be the comedic relief (Which is, unfortunately, something that happens with a lot of disabled characters).

Although the jokes seem to be in fine taste, I do have some logistic concerns with them.

For the sneezing one, I'm not sure she'd be able to pop it out that quickly and, if she can, it wouldn't be the best idea. Popping the eye out quickly is a great way to drop and damage it and, as mentioned, they are EXPENSIVE.

Taking the prosthetic eye in and out frequently also increases the likelihood of causing damage to the eye by irritating the socket or turning the eyelashes inward which, trust me, is NOT comfortable. You would also want to be careful with setting it on random objects. Because the prosthetic eye is going directly into the eye socket, you really don't want it to be dirty when you put it back in and if they're out and about, it may not be possible to clean it properly right away.

This isn't to say you can't do this. It could be funny once or twice but doing it regularly could have some not-so-ideal consequences so it's good to keep this stuff in mind.

You didn't ask about this but I'd just like to mention: Be careful about writing self-deprecating jokes about her disability. It can get VERY uncomfortable for your readers very quickly, especially if you don't have that/a similar disability. Honestly, I'd advise that able-bodied writers avoid writing these kinds of jokes for their physically disabled characters in general.

Overall, your character sounds great and very well thought out! I'm glad to see more characters that are blind from illness/medical causes rather than the usual traumatic incident.

You were just a human. A human that was bored of life.

You sighed and spent your time studying Greek Mythology. You seemed to be very fixated on it recently. It was so interesting, the way that the gods would live. And who knew, maybe they were wonderful people. You laughed at the thought. How stupid. If a god met you, you would probably be dead.

You were especially fixated on Hermes though. He was a god that never stopped showing up in every myth you read. He was fun to read about. He was always saying something witty or just being the most reasonable god. He was the most... human, you supposed.

You only wondered if these stories you escaped with were real at all. You wished that you could meet someone like Hermes.

Walks were close enough to your escape though, especially the woods by your house. They were full and green; very fantasy-esque. You loved them. Especially getting overdressed to go on a walk. A long dress and a pair of thin flats. You would read stories to deer and bunnies that weren't too far off from you and you would sometimes just take your shoes off and stick your feet in the mud.

It was freeing. And it was all you needed.

You didn't mind going there by yourself as often as you did. It was nice.

But it was off putting when you heard a voice for the first time.

"Can I ask why we're all the way out here?" A deep, yet smooth voice said.

You quickly hid behind a rock. You weren't used to hearing anyone out here, so you were definitely scared.

"Oh, come now, my boy," a raspier voice chuckled. "I like visiting the world down here every now and again! It's not like anyone's going to be out here!"

And right as the man thought that, your dumbass stepped on a stick that made a loud ass sound. Great.

"What was that?" The raspy voice said.

"I don't know," the smoother voice said, his tone slow and soft. "Let me go check it out. Stay here."

Your heart dropped and you panicked a bit. What were you supposed to do? You spent so much time thinking that you didn't move an inch, so a head peeked out from the rock.

You and him both seemed to be in shock as your eyes went wide as you looked at each other.

You stood up from your spot and muttered something that was supposed to be an apology, but more sounded like a bundle of words. You were blushing, dammit.

The man in front of you was handsome. Super handsome. He had jet black hair and bright red eyes. He was wearing a black tuxedo and you couldn't help but stare at him.

He did the same though, without your knowing. You in your dress, god, you looked like a fairy out here.

You both must've realized that you were staring for far too long and you both blushed, looking at the ground.

"I apologize, miss," the man bowed at you and looked back up at you with a small smile. "I didn't mean to scare you."

"I didn't mean to scare you." You peeked out from behind the rock and saw that an old man was admiring a butterfly.

"You're beautiful... if you don't mind me saying."

You turned back to the man with shock. "W-Well, you're very handsome."

"Well, I don't want to doddle. I apologize for the scare," he pulled up you hand to his lips and pressed a kiss upon your knuckles. "I do hope you have a lovely rest of your day, though."

You were sad to feel his touch leave, sighing. "Wait!" You called off as he went to walk back to the old man.

The man turned to you, his hair blowing in the light breeze that blew over. "Yes?"

"I never caught your name."

He hesitated for a moment, but smiled. "It's Hermes."

You froze and watched him leave. Oh my god, that was like a dream.

"What was that all about?" Zeus asked Hermes.

"Oh nothing. But love is a funny thing, don't you think, Lord Zeus?"

"Aphrodite can be an awful woman."

Hermes chuckled. "I suppose she can be."

Yeah, the manus vindictae characters are pretty cool-ly designed too. Theyre emo and cool^^. Arcana, the boss lady, looks very simmilar to makima from chainsaw man. Yeah im gonna have to save up at least 140 pulls to get him guaranteed. 70 for a 50/50 chance at him. Yeah they're awesome! Sputnik is a character too, yk the thing someone sent into space? Idk what exactly it is, but there's tons of non-human characters like her too^^ ones a mirror shard named 'door' lol. We ended up talking about it like normal people and it went fine, until she left on her buss and her fucking dickhead bf started calling me a "wannabe man" and a woman and just being a hugely transphobic dipshit. And he fucking kept trying to kick and hurt me when hes like twice my mf size, and im not even that fucking short! He already put a whole ass crack in my lower leg bone before that had me limping for a fucking month. All i want is a fucking hug or istfg im gonna kms, i cant handle this shit anymore. I had a good time trick or treating. I got a lot of candy. I dressed up as steve harrington from stranger things. Oof, I could never do that lol, halloween is like an awesome Christmas for me. 10. Favorite piece of clothing to draw

Ok I was totally unsure of this which made me go thru a ton of my recent/old/whatever art to try to figure out what I tend to draw a lot of, and omg this was so fun. After some careful analysis I have come to the conclusion that I really enjoy drawing complicated fancy dresses and cool jackets... And yes I'm including examples

I forgot I did a bunch of Yule Ball sketches for Pansy, Luna, Ginny, and Hermione, and wow I had fun with these (especially Pansy's, they're just. Insane). Maybe I'll finish/color them all someday (and also redo the Luna one cuz I don't love it)

And then from non-HP stuff, here are some dresses + my cool jacket obsession. I feel like a lot of my art/character design has been influenced by superheroes and Transformers (which I was obsessed with as a kid... HP not so much!), and I can really see it here. Plus my love of high fashion and drag race lol. Also a lot of these are Pokemon-related

When I started this account I was in college, and I was usually drawing in my dorm or more often in various spots around campus. My fav spot was these picnic tables outside of the art museum... I drew my first Snapetober there lol on a beautiful fall day in the warm sun. But now that I've graduated and live with my parents I just draw at my big ol desk in my nasty room

17. Do you eat/drink when drawing? if so, what

I am an avid tea and coffee drinker so I do enjoy a caffeinated beverage with my drawing time. I don't think there's any real pattern with what I eat or drink while drawing tho, it's the same stuff I'd eat or drink if I was doing anything else. Tea or coffee or water + snack if hungry

YAYYY I LOVE ANSWERING QUESTIONS!!!!

1) hmmmm I always try to pack my bag the night before, but that’s more so a routine thing not a special back to school specific thing….. I think bc I have to wake up so early for school again, over the years I’ve started caring less abt fun b2s eve things 🥹🥹 it makes me kinda sad!!! I should do something. maybe I’ll make a mini routine thing to try and follow for once……..

2) OOOOO okay so technically it was Pokémon when I was a kid, and I think it might’ve been brock??? is that his name???? I haven’t seen it in years I’m sorry 😭😭 I don’t remember ever even acknowledging it was a crush bc I was like 5-7 ish and i couldn’t comprehend crushing on a fictional character yet let alone a real person, but looking back I definitely liked him. I thought he was funny and that was literally my only requirement. the bar was in hell. (I say this as someone who also had a crush on the saber tooth tiger from ice age bc he was sarcastic. little me had the same taste in personality as me now 😭)

BUT when I got older, my first anime after I decided I wanted to get into it for real was haikyuu!! I was home alone that day bc my mom had treatment and I was looking for something to watch on Netflix, I saw the banner and was like “oh one of my Instagram moots posts a lot abt this show!!” so I clicked play. and my first ever anime/hq crush was SUGAWARA. I’m sure everyone understands why. he’s soooo many people’s first hq crush I think. and then it was noya for a while. and thennnnn oikawa showed up and it was over for everyone. he’s still my favourite hq character to this day, I adore his storyline and motivations and writing, yet somehow my heart belongs to other characters (cough atsumu). does that make sense? my favourite character isn’t the one I self ship with anymore. Somehow it does. to someone.

(I actually kept a list of all the anime I started IN ORDER in 2020 if ur interested to know what my first like. 15 were.)

3) I LOVE sleepovers. i didn’t have a ton when I was younger bc I lived super far from my friends, so whenever I did, it was with my cousins usually and they’re always sm fun!! Had one recently with one of my best friends for the first time since we were like. 10 and it was great!! she came to my house for the second time ever. sleepovers as adults are great I think bc they’re the exact same in terms of games and excess amounts of sugar, BUT you can play drinking games now and I think that’s neat.

4) YESSSS I DO!!! I’m so excited abt this oh my gosh. when I was a kid I had wayyyyy too many, but one of my most prized stuffed animals is this giant (and I mean massive) teddy bear my grandma got forme when I was 3 ish. his name is peek-a-boo. he’s currently sitting in the corner of ky room bc he’s too big for my bed. I will never get rid of him, he’s too precious to me. ON my bed tho, are more recent buys bc my other childhood ones are packed away in my closet ://////

I’ve got the mammon miss ‘em………. best money I’ve ever spent tbh. but shipping from Japan is no joke guys 😵‍💫 will NOT be getting the other ones unless I suddenly come into a trust fund. (how do I word that? gain one? acquire one?)

(don't mind the fact that i wrote this just now. it's currently 12am and yes i know i have school at 7:30am 🧍‍♀️)

you were walking around the city with the accompaniment of the first-year students. yuuji was holding your hand. when you got the "spidey-senses", the feeling you'd feel when there was a presence of a variant of yours. just as yuuji got distracted along with nobara and your brother, you took this opportunity to release his hand and disappear off to meet and see your other self.

it didn't take long for you to bump into your other self, and that's because she made her way towards you first. your mouth hung open in awe as your [color] eyes took in the grown woman standing before just like the other variations of yourself, looked just like you. except your other self was wearing a lot of black and leather, especially for her makeup, and she was evidently older.

"hello, sweetie. i was looking for you." you saw a flicker of red in her [color] eyes for a second as a smile graced her red painted lips.

"you're so pretty.." you said, still gawking at your variant.

"just like you sweetie." your other self winked. the said woman might be stunning and intimidating all the same, but the way she chuckled softly sounded like bells.

you giggled at her response, "so, what are you doing here?"

"just traveling and bored, that's all." she shrugged her shoulders before reaching her hand towards you which was adorned by a high-end and branded watch along with a couple of rings on her fingers. "come on, let's have some fun together little me. i've been meaning to go shopping and treat myself to a spa."

"okay!" you bounced back and forth on the balls of feet with excitement as you took hold of her hand, smiling at your other and older self.

as she whisked you away, the first-years was sent into a panic when they realized you had slipped out of their sight.

"where's kikufuku?" gojo asked the three, having just arrived with nanami and the second-year students who he met and picked up.

just like that, everyone panicked. everyone knows well enough how you didn't have cursed energy. you were practically invisible to them, especially when you didn't use your chaos magic. so, the trip that gojo and nanami planned for the students, as well as for you, ended up becoming a hunt to look for you instead.

while everyone was panicking and searching for you, you were at a designer's branded store where your other self was practically spoiling you to bits, which you didn't mind because you loved playing dress up. she made you try on a ton of dresses, shoes that mostly had heels, and other luxurious outfits that matched.

"you look so pretty, sweetie! we are definitely getting that, along with everything else of course." your other self sighed dramatically as you exited the fitting room, dressed in an expensive looking coat and blouse that were paired with a black skirt, heeled boots and tie.

you watched your other self hand the cashier a black card as you trotted towards you. you gasped at the amount of zeroes that flashed before your eyes. "eh? we're getting everything? that's a lot of zeroes! that's more than what daddy buys too."

"that's right sweetie! we are getting every single thing you tried on." she nodded firmly, peering at down you as she paid for everything.

"do you still have money? you could run out of money if you buy me everything though!" you exclaimed in a worry.

she waved her hand at you, smiling ever so nonchalantly. "oh, shush! no need to worry about a thing. mama went to the bank, so let mama spoil you."

after your shopping spree with your other self, she took you to a high-class beauty salon. since you were too young to get your nails done or get facials and such, you simply got your hair done while your other self got a manicure, haircut, and a massage while at it, and it didn't end there. once you two felt refreshed, she treated you to a five-star michelin restaurant where the food and place literally cost your life. 

"um, isn't it too expensive here?" you swallowed thickly as you skimmed through the menu, sitting on a chair across your other self.

"nonsense! consider this is my treat to you. order whatever you like and just disregard the price, m'kay?" your other self insisted before glancing at you in a worry for a second. "do you not like it here, sweetie? does the food look bad? we could go somewhere else if you'd like?

"no! no! it's fine! the food looks great." you sweatdropped and flipped through the menu, "i think i'll just get ramen instead.."

"just ramen? what? oh, that's a no. we'll get you steak too, a medium rare, and these side dishes too." your other self placed down her own menu on the table, pointing at the food she was going to order you. "let's get you a bottomless glass of juice as well. what's your favorite juice? let's order dessert for later too."

eventually, you did listen to her and ended up getting almost everything on the menu, mostly because she insisted and the food did look appetizing.

"wow.. this is really good!" your eyes lit up interest as you shoved a piece of steak in your mouth.

"yeah? i think it's delicious too." the woman giggled softly, nodding in agreement.

after eating a hearty warm meal, she took you to a branded jewelry store to get you accessories that goes with the outfits she bought you and the outfit you were currently wearing. while the saleslady of the store was showing you and you other self their collection of earrings and necklaces, everyone had eventually found you, spotting from a distance through the glass pane walls of the store.

"that's [name] over there!" itadori pointed his index finger at your direction.

"what the hell is [name] doing at cartier?" maki raised a brow before furrowing them.

megumi's eyes widened, realizing you weren't alone. "who's.. who's that woman with her?"

after some time, you left the designer luxury jewelry store with your other self, and that's when gojo and everyone else purposely bumped into you, running to meet up with you after almost calling the police to report you missing.

"[name]!!"

you watched everyone's priceless reactions as soon as they realized that you were wearing designer clothes and carrying paper bags of expensive and branded things, and their expressions subsided into a fearful one when their gaze met the woman who had been with you the whole time.

she was significantly taller and older than you. she might have resembled you and had your [color] hair and [color] eyes, but she looked incredibly intimidating, like, if looks could kill, they would have been dead by now. apart from the designer clothes and jewelries adorning her, along with her all-black and leather aesthetic, she was gorgeous and elegant, someone with poise and confidence.

their mouths dropped to the floor.

"daddy!" you ran towards gojo, encasing your tiny arms around his legs. "i missed you!"

Ok, so for Dan, I honestly think he would absolutely love to cosplay as one of his favorite anime characters. Although he’s not good at it, he would definitely try to create his own costume and wear it proudly when October 31st comes… But if he’s running out of time, he’ll just go for the classic sheet ghost. Grab a bed sheet and cut two holes in it, and you’ve got yourself a spooky Halloween costume right there. Bees also suggested that Dan could dress up as a cowboy, a vampire, or a werewolf :)

Randy would probably go for your classic Halloween monsters, like a devil or a werewolf, but mainly he wants something that will make him look cool and sexy >:). It’s time to show off his belly even though he already does that every single day. And maybe, some titties? 👀. Now is definitely the time for him to take advantage of his sharp teeth, so dressing up as any creature with sharp teeth is an absolute win. Or he might just go as a murderer covered in blood. Wouldn’t be that hard to do it lol

Davis would honestly use Halloween as an excuse to also dress up as something sexy. You mean he can wear whatever he wants and just say that he’s wearing a costume? I can definitely see him going for some classic vampire designs, something formal and classy but also inherently hot 😳. However, unfortunately for him, I’m forcing him to wear this

Ronny is also going all out. He loves making DIY outfits and this is his chance to show off. Definitely wearing a lot of black and making an amalgam of extremely goth/grunge clothes. Maybe he’ll call himself a zombie or Frankenstein’s monster with a twist. But I can definitely see a lot of stripes, a lot of black, ripped stockings, a fuck ton of makeup. Maybe a bunch of bones and skeleton themes. He would probably try to create his own design and play off of classic Halloween icons like spiders and bats.

Elowyn would definitely dress up as something cute; the fluffier, the better. She loves wearing comfy poofy clothing, so maybe something like a bunny or a sheep would be perfect. But also, you could never go wrong with dressing up as a princess, a fairy, or an angel. Something with a lot of white and pink would go perfectly for her costume.

Cyrus unfortunately wouldn’t dress up for Halloween, since he doesn’t exactly live near people to celebrate it 😔. I think that if he did want to dress up though, he would love to dress up as something that would really show off his hair (he’s proud of his long hair). He'd honestly dress up as a hunter or an archer because it would be the easiest for him to do lol. But I like imagining he would also dress up as an elf or Li//nk

Depends how little! I know I've always liked designing clothes for as long as I can remember, for exemple. But most of what I still like to draw comes from when I was in middle school and started to get edgier. I can pinpoint some themes and motifs that I started to like drawing in middle school but not any exact ideas

Taehyung: Imagine him painting with his son. He buys him the biggest art sets, letting his son have free choice over what he wants to create 🥰. As a baby he’d strap him in a high chair and hand him a paintbrush, letting him get paint everywhere as both the baby and Tae become a giggly mess of colour. They’d get messy and create all kinds of things together, it becoming the thing they bond on. This would go on for years and as his son grows and continues to create art, Tae keeps putting them up in the family living room, proudly displaying all the pieces of art he adores. 🥰

Jungkook: (I’m gonna use your idea) Imagine Jungkook with his daughter, she has gotten used to him doing her hair because he’s so gentle and can do all the cute plaits and hairstyles so well. So every morning before school she gets ready then goes to her dad with a hairbrush and hair ties. He’s been watching youtube tutorials of new styles and always has something cute in mind when he ties her hair. She always loves it. Aran Ojiro - I know I’m not being too original with this pairing because you actually crush on him to begin with, but you two are just perfect for each other tbh (was going to pick Toshi at first, but thought Aran would be a better fit)! Firstly, you are both absolutely S T U N N I N G ✨, I would be SO intimidated to come anywhere near this power couple. Secondly, you’re both so diligent, kind, and smart, everyone looks up to the two of you, wishing they could be you (Keep wishing, peeps 💅🏼) . Lastly, he seems like an absolute sweetheart, loveeeeees to spoil you with random hugs, kisses, and gifts, and will joke around with you a lot. He’ll find any way he could show you off to his friends, and they’d all be so jealous. It is nice to know that you can always lean on him if you ever have to, and he knows he could do the same with you. Yu Nishinoya - Noya is IN LOVE with you, he thinks you are freaking beautiful, is a hottie, and basically his queen. He’d keep crushing on you until you finally give him a chance. When you are together, he’d do anything to please you, ultimately, he just wants to see you smile and happy all the time. He’ll crack some jokes and be a little goof just to cheer you up! Also wants you to freaking DOMINATE him hahahah, trusts you completely, please do as you would like, he’s all yours. Loves getting his lil booty smacked and pegged, but is also always down to pleasure you. Just grab him by his hair (loves getting his hair pulled) and put him in any position you want him.

Tendou Satori - Tendou ADORES YOU, for real, he freaking ADORES you (But I adore you more, so he can back down 🤚). He loves to be your little spoon (will literary purr if you give him head rubs), boasts about you to his friends all the time (especially to Toshi), likes to endearingly tease you a lot, and will cook you some nice food all the time (he probably went to culinary school, after all, to become a chocolatier). Akiteru Tsukishima - Let me start off by saying that I am absolutely in love with Akiteru, and because I love him so much, I shall pair him with you! Lauren, I am in love with you from the very first moment you’ve hit me up, I feel like our vibes match and because I feel the same way with Akiteru, I believe he would really vibe with you too! He’s an absolute sweetheart who will go out of his ways just to make you happy, you’d both spend hours chit chatting about the most random things, just giggling constantly, and before you know it, it’s already really late at night. He LOVES taking photos of you, and his phone is filled with photos of the two of you. Kei doesn’t really care much about you, but Akiteru will keep bringing you up in conversations with him anyway because he’s just extremely grateful to have you in his life.

Ittetsu Takeda - Listen, as much as I believe Keishin is the perfect man for us you, Takeda is another husband material, adorable man who would also be just as perfect.

Takeda is so weak for you, he’ll spoil you rotten where he can, and his affection bank is unlimited, will constantly remind you that he loves you. He’s also really shy, so sometimes, he’ll try to be “sexy” and initiate something, only to stutter and blush terribly when he attempts to execute it, so please be kind HAHA (I think find that really endearing tbh). Fully understands how tiring it can be to work with children, he is also a teacher after all, so at the end of each day, you’ll both take warm baths together, cuddling as you laugh about all the silly things your kids had done today. Sometimes he will help substitute for you too, if you ever need to take a day off.

can I please request headcanon for Kalim,Vil,riddle and Leona with a female s/o who love the theater and preforming

This one was a bit tough because I myself do not have any experience in acting or theatre so I am going mainly based on what I remember from high school. Hope I did this correctly

Kalim Al-Asim

He loves that you are more outgoing and how much work you are willing to put in to ensure the play is a success

As an outgoing person himself that loves to express himself, he likes to have someone with a similar type of energy as him

He still remembers the first time you were on stage in a play

You were playing the heroine, a princess who only wanted to be set free from the chains of society and be themselves

He felt every emotion you went through and even realized that you were adlibbing some of the lines to make it fit the scene more

He loves your acting and he also loves that you went though every single line with tons of passion

The first time you two met face to face was when after the play, he ran up to you, shaking your hand and praising your acting

“I loved your acting! OMG! It was so great that I…I can’t even put into words! Anyways, if you want to hang out some time, come to my party! I’ll treat to rides on magic carpets and camels and also a ton of delicious food!”

He was all over the place (my poor boi got too excited)

But you decided to take up on his invite and you never regretted it

Ever since he always come to your plays and in return, you would go to his parties

The one time that you asked him to help you rehearse, you kinda regretted it because he had a hard time taking it seriously

He would either smile or laugh too much in the middle of a line or have a hard time acting sad or serious

That was probably the first time you scolded him directly because of it

But at least you know that he can always play the comedic relief sidekick when you needed him to because you know Kalim is at his best when he smiles and having fun

Vil Schoenheit

He adores that you always give your best on every performance you put on

From the makeup and the costumes to when you act on stage in front of tons of people, he can always see that you take acting seriously and that you were passionate about it

He remembers that the first time he saw your acting, you were reenacting a sad scene where the lover dies in front of you

He could care less about his eyeliner not being perfect from the tears he shed from watching you cry as you held your lover in your hands with tears running down your cheek

As you say every single line with the right amount of sadness and frustration from your supposed lover dying in your arms, Vil felt his heart break slightly

Which is the main goal of an actor is to get the emotions across in the most convincing way possible

He came up to you after the play, kissing your hand as he got on one knee and giving you a charming smile the essence of a prince character

“Your performance was one of the best I have ever seen. I never get to see actresses like you with so much passion and with grace.”

Whenever you were free, Vil always takes you to the Pomefiore dorm to teach you some makeup tips and recommend you some beauty products

With a side of warnings like “An actress always has to make sure they look like they are at their best condition” or “Never let your guard down, your beauty is one of the most important things to look after”

He also became in charge of your costumes, claiming that these old-fashioned costumes conceal the beautiful actress you are

In which he likes to design a lot of feminine clothing that match your figure and colors that match your complexion and makeup (with his own quirks in there too)

You also realize that he is also a good acting partner if you ever needed help in rehearsing

probably because you guys have that dramatic beauty queen vibe

Your heart always skips a beat whenever he plays the prince, not only because he is quite handsome (and he knows firsthand that he is) but also the way he projects his voice and the character’s personality is close to perfect

Ever play he attends to your plays, he will always wait for you with a bouquet of roses in his hand and treats you to a spa day for all the hard work you put in

Also he doesn’t tell you that he goes to all of your plays, even if he had seen it dozens of times because that’s how much he loves your acting  

Riddle Roseheart

Similar to Vil, he appreciates your passion towards theatre and acting

Although he may not share the exact passion you have, he likes how you work hard towards something you really like

He saw your first performance when you were Alice from Alice in Wonderland

Not only he loved the way you looked in the classic blue dress she wore but also how you were able to catch her curiosity through the way you interacted with each character

In his eyes, you were the only person fit to play as Alice

After the play, he came up to you with a small smile on his face

“Your performance was fantastic, I can see that you are passionate about it and I am quite pleased.”

Ever since, Riddle often invites to little tea parties where you guys just chat away with very little regard to time

Often during these chats, he makes small references to the plays you do, including Alice in Wonderland character lines where in return you respond with your character’s lines

“I can’t go back to yesterday because I was a different person then” (Alice in Wonderland Quote)

When he had the time, he will come to your plays in secret, making sure that you are not aware that he is there only because he would not like to let you know that he comes to every single play you are in 

He is the type of person that if the play is based on the book, then he will go get the book to better understand the play

Or if it’s based on a movie, he would buy the movie and watch it, making note of plot and character development

Sometimes he even goes to say that either the play did not include too many of the famous lines from the book or the play did not really follow the plot as much as he wanted

But he never downplays your acting as he always states that you’re acting is perfect as ever, but rather it’s the lines or the script that do ruin it a bit

When you have a hard time grasping the character, Riddle is very good at summarizing the feelings of the situation or how the characters would react

“I think you should act more surprised here as she is not aware of the current situation. Also, when you are walking in, make note of the position of your feet. You are a proper royal lady, so you must walk like one.”

Although he will not act with you (mainly because he’s embarrassed of the difference in talent) he will be your director if you need help rehearsing, making sure you are following the script correctly

It gotten to a point where you recommend him to assist in directing if he had read the book to the play you are doing

But be warned, he tends to be a bit bossy because he just things to be perfect, but he does know when he has gone too far and will stop before it gets to that state

Leona Kingscholar

Okay initially he is not a fan (probably because he is reminded of Vil, which he is not a big fan of because they’re polar opposites)

However, he changed his mind when he happen to see you at a play being taken place in the courtyard

At first he was annoyed that the music and the actors were being too loud for him to take a nap so he decided to watch a little bit of it to see if it was worth his time

When he saw you on stage, he couldn’t take his eyes of you

The way you acted on stage is different from the other actors on stage

You have a bit of fire inside you and he really like that

One day at school, he recognized you in the halls, talking to someone and he decide to talk to you

He leaned against the wall and waited behind you until he got noticed, in which when you turned around  

You were surprised to see the dorm leader of Savanaclaw with a small smirk on his face

“Eh…so you are (y/n). I saw a bit of your performance yesterday and I must say that it’s rare to find me impressed with something.”

From then on, he would go watch your plays in secret and hang out with you outside of school when he can

He NEVER tells you that he actually watched the entire play but he would say that he got to see the iconic parts where you were in it

But you find out he was lying when one day he let it slip when you were talking about the play

For that one day, there was a problem with the lights, so it took time to fix it in the beginning, which results in delays

You were complaining about it to Leona in which Leona just nodded to show that he was listening and responded with,

Leona: “Yea, that was a disappointment, honestly they should check beforehand.”

(y/n): “But didn’t you say that you only got to watch from the middle of the play?”

Leona: “…” (got caught)

You couldn’t hide your smirk when you caught Leona in his lies and always make remarks about the time he let it slip big time

You are aware that acting is not up Leona’s alley, so you try to keep conversations about it to a minimum

But Leona reassures you that he is fine with you talking about it because he kinda likes when you go off into a long conversation about acting and theatre (as long as it’s not an everyday thing)

It reminds him of the fire he saw in you when he first saw you perform on stage and subtly encourages you to keep up with it

Though he does appreciates when you don’t babble on about a topic he particularly is not good with (*cough* *cough* Vil with makeup and fashion *cough*)
