I was wondering, could we have more info on Sunset's weaponry? She has an Espada Ropera, Colt 1873, S&W Model 3 (Schofield variant?), a basic bolt rifle that could be a number of things (though it being left-handed limits the options), and as mentioned before a flaming whip (though I don't notice it on her more visible post-redemption design anywhere). But I was wondering, what are the specifics of said weapons? I would assume the 1873 is .44-40 and it also appears to have a short-ish barrel so most likely 4 3/4"? The Schofield is almost certainly chambered in .44 S&W or .45 Schofield if adhering to our world, the barrel (based on the holster) seems to be shorter than the standard 7", but tbh a little longer than the common 5", what was the intended barrel length? Also finish wise, is the Schofield meant to be nickel plated or just really worn down? same for the 1873 but I would assume just worn down for that tbh. Also it's pretty obvious but afaik not stated anywhere, is Sunset fully left-handed?

My friend, you just provided more info than I ever could. I'm not a weapons guy and definitely drew things wrong, and you got basically everything dead on (how???). The only new info I can provide is that her Colt 1873 is specifically a Peacemaker. I referenced Annie Oakley's S&W No. 3 for her ancillary gun (though I see now that I drew the frame/hammer wrong.Probably got mixed up with another reference). Her rifle referenced a Winchester Model 54. Sunset's ambidextrous, something she taught herself while learning magic in Canterlot.

Additionally, AJ carries a Colt M1892 and a Winchester Model 1873. Most of these gun choices are informed by cowboy pop culture, as to keep with the theme of GG20s being a franchise created in the 50s-70s.

aot cast modern au jobs in my head:

eren: cybersecurity specialist. i feel like erens one of those kids that suck in subjects like lang-lit or fucking geography but have an impressive talent in anything techi. i think growing up eren was a competitive gamer and i imagine him being pretty rich in the sense where doctor daddy grisha and also big bro zeke are always spoiling his brat ass with the latest technology. he gets so good, he initially goes into uni wanting to become a game designer but after a brief fallout with his dad when he dropped out and eventually had his allowance cut (a period where i think eren dips into underground hacking and also modelling?) he falls upon the sexy salary in cybersecurity (and saw how thrilling- and damn easy !for him! - the job is) he changed course. i think eren eventually builds his own successful company and becomes one of those rich folks who say that school aint shit.

mikasa: president of a major sports team. mikasa takes over pretty young (like early 30s) after old uncle kenny was involved in some ‘reiss scandal’. initially mikasa was labelled ‘princess’ (derogatory) by dumb angry hooligans who thought a woman would curse their current standing, jokes on them cus that same season the club broke their 20 year curse by reaching the championships. i also think old pictures of gothkasa gets leaked on the internet but it only brought her more praise. but i actually dont think mikasa stays in this job for very long, shes always wanted a quiet simple form of income anyway so when her baby brother comes of right age and maturity she passes the baton to him and lays back as just a shareholder before shes even 40. i also believe mikasa in another universe wouldve loved to be an archivist.

armin: celebrity marine biologist/activist that went viral online during lockdown. he gets his own fanbase and is termed ‘biologist bae’ cus of his cute looks. a tv producer who fell into his corner pretty much fell in love with him after seeing armin deliver a spiel about endangered dugongs. invites him to a bunch of talk shows and the viewership goes so high (a large portion of it being teenage fangirls who want to ‘save the ocean’ too!) he manages to score his own show where he eventually meets his future wife.

annie: senior tv writer who got with armin after working with him on his show. she usually works on sporty reality shows and competitions even though shes a big time introvert. known for her sharp dont fuck with me work ethic, annie gags at how easily she fell into ‘biologist baes’ charm, hates how shes just like the 14 year old fangirls who try to sneak into their shoots. but anyways, annies the ace at her job been going hard for about 15 years but ultimately decides to retire early after having her second child and really liking how ‘biologist bae’ was making enough dough for the whole family.

sasha: influencer cus shes so pretty and fun. was a design major so all her vids have a ‘aesthetic’. now she prettily promotes lifestyle hacks for all the girlies. she also has a set of vids called “what my chef husband cooked for me today” . i think also further on she ends up being one of those moms who shoots vlogs and reviews with their kids.

jean: jeans a classy guy with artistic talents so i imagine him being a successful automotive designer for a luxurious car company. a mommas boy, he used his first fat pay-check to buy his mom a sleek ride thats a little too fast for someone her age. dudes insta page is what you’d expect from a posh car enthusiast with flashy posts of either him, his car, his mom or all 3.

connie: real estate party man. he really climbed his way up and becomes a man of many stories, friends with everyone and plenty of connections. the old hustle got him familiar with the best locations in the city, and now with his excellent salesmanship dude manages to sell at least 3 huge properties a week. i also feel like connies one of those dudes to finally settle down in his 40s -50s (with someone half his age).

historia: i believe queenbee was made for wedding planning. she has her own company before her first job ever but damn is she good at it. being brought up filthy rich, historia is familiar with the highest quality of things, knows whats on the market that only the small percentage of rich people know and will get clients their dream wedding to a t. moreover, she also loves to play cupid (canon!) and is always up to planning her friends weddings (and baby showers, and birthdays parties, and…)

ymir: i imagine ymir being on the board of directors for a bunch of ngos. she had a tough upbringing, was probably moved around from one home to another and could see how hard life is for anyone working at minimum wage. she grew up to be a little spitfire in school, hadnt taken it seriously until she reached senior year and bonded with a school staff named Ms Ymir Fritz. With the wisdom and kindness she learnt from her old teacher, ymir wanted to pay it forward and decided to make a living helping those in need.

reiner: idk why, but i feel like reiners a softie at heart and i imagine him having a nice cozy candy shop. probably fighting old childhood demons and the parental neglect he faced, his cute little shop comes as part of his healing journey to compensate what he missed out on in his youth. its sweet (but a little heartbreaking) that reiners favourite part about his job is getting to witness and be a part of the joy that emerges between families when they enter his shop.

bertholdt: a nurse just cus i think bertholdt would know how to be gentle with the patients. hes got a soft way of speaking that makes vulnerable people feel safe and comfortable. hes also wildly knowledgeable in flexibility and keeping your muscles in good shape that he conducts morning stretches and sometimes yoga in one of their recreational halls.

“Alright Elizabeth, everything is set for tomorrow’s wedding, just a couple of last minute preparations that will need to be done tomorrow.” You tell Elizabeth outside in the backyard where the wedding will take place.

“Perfect thank you y/n.” Elizabeth tells you before someone takes her attention and she leaves you standing there. You take one last look at the list just to make sure when you hear someone walking up to you.

“Hey hon.” You look up and Chessy there and smile.

“Hey Chess.” You tell her.

“All ready for the wedding?”

“Yep, just tomorrow’s last minute stuff and then it’s all good.” You tell her and she smiles.

“Wow, Elizabeth is lucky to have an assistant like you.” She says and you blush a bit.

“Thank you, but I just make sure things get done.” You tell her.

“You’re so modest, give yourself some credit. You made sure the wedding came together.” She explains to you. “Anyway, are you hungry? I made some lunch and got some extra if you want it.” She offers and you smile at her.

“I would love too.” You say and she smiles before leading you into the house.

You started working for Elizabeth as her assistant about 5 months ago but it was mostly at her shop helping her with things to get the dresses ready for the summer. Ever since Elizabeth and Annie moved in with the Parker’s, the combined their businesses. They held weddings at the vineyard while also serving whatever wine the bride and groom want, and Elizabeth designs, fits, and makes their dress. Lately you’ve been working at the house, getting things ready for the weddings. You met Chessy about 2 months ago when you came to the house for the first time. She instantly took an interest in you and it seems she also likes to be looking after you. She always makes sure she makes extra for lunch when you’re over, when you start to get stressed with the work then she makes you laugh, when you get frustrated with something then she helps work it out with you.

You can’t deny that it feels nice that she looks out for you, and you also can’t deny that you have feelings for her. You try not to feel special that she helps you with things, she’s a nanny, it’s what she does. During lunch she can see that you’re nervous about something.

“Hon, are you okay? You’re quiet, usually you’re talking about something you like.” She tells you and you look up at her and sigh.

“It’s about tomorrow.” You tell her and she quirks an eyebrow at you.

“The wedding?” She asks and you nod. “What’s making you nervous about the wedding?” She asks as she gives you a plate of food.

“Thank you.” You say as you begin eating. “It’s a really big wedding. Like the others were like 50-250 people on the guest list. That’s a normal amount. But tomorrow there’s gonna be 650 people, I don’t do well with a lot of people.” You tell her.

“I think you’ll kill it tomorrow. But if you want then I can be there with you for support.” She offers and you look at her.

“Really? You’d do that for me?” You ask and she nods with a smile.

“Of course.”

“Ok, well if you’re being serious then I would love for you to be there.” You say to her.

“Alright, I’ll be there.” She promises to you and you smile as you continue eating.

The next day you’re slipping on your black dress. It’s still a couple hours until the wedding, enough time to get the last minute preparations done. You stayed at the Parker house last night to make it easier, you usually do when the next day is a wedding or you stayed working late. You bounce downstairs and you go outside to get everything done.

You didn’t notice Chessy watching you from a window for most of the time. You actually never notice her just watching you work. She loves seeing you in your element. She’s watching you with a fond smile on her face.

“Just tell her already.” Nick says with a bit of annoyance. Chessy whips her head around as she didn’t know he was there or even heard him.

“Tell who what?” She asks, although she has an idea of who and what he means.

“Tell y/n you like her. We all see it and we’re wondering when you’re going to tell her.” He says.

“It might be best if I don’t. After all she works for Elizabeth, if it doesn’t work or she rejects me then we’ll still run into each other.”

“Chessy, you’re thinking too much into it. You can’t think about it not working out when you haven’t even started dating. And also she won’t reject you, she feels the same way about you.” He says like it’s obvious and Chessy is looking at him like a deer in headlights.

“She what?” Chessy asks, wanting to know if she heard him right. Nick looks at her in disbelief.

“She likes you too Chessy. Do you really not see it?”

“I thought it was one-sided.” Chessy says and looks at you through the window again. “I offered to be with her at the wedding today, as support due to the amount of people who will be here.”

“Well you have a perfect opportunity then, weddings bring out the romance in people.” He says with a wink and then leaves.

An hour later, Chessy is making lunch when the twins come running in.

“Hey, no running in the house.” Chessy tells them and they immediately stop.

“Sorry Chess, we just smelled food and got excited.” Hallie says and Annie nods in agreement.

“Well lunch is almost ready.” She says and they sit down at the island. Chessy is still thinking about what Nick says when she realises there’s two people there who sees everything and can confirm or deny. “Hey girls, I have a question for you.” She tells them and they both look at her. “You know y/n right?” She starts and they both nod. “Well do you know if, if she might have feelings…for someone?”

“You mean if she has feelings for you?” Annie says and Chessy blushes. Wow, Nick wasn’t kidding when he says everyone knows.

“Yes, do you know if she has feelings for me?” She rephrases.

“Well obviously, she doesn’t exactly hide it.” Hallie says and Chessy lets out a breath she was holding.

“Both of you don’t hide it.” Annie adds.

“Ok, eat your lunch.” Chessy says as she hands them both bowls of chilli.

“Are you going to bring Y/n in to eat too?” Annie says.

“You know since you always seem to have extra when she’s here.” Hallie adds and Chessy’s cheeks become red.

“If she has time then yes.” Chessy stutters out and then Elizabeth comes walking in with you, talking about something.

“Ok so the last thing is for the bride to finish getting ready?” Elizabeth asks you and you check over the list.

“Yep, everything else is done.” You say and Elizabeth takes a deep breath.

“Thank goodness. Oh Chessy you made lunch, do you have enough for y/n to eat some before the wedding?” Elizabeth asks Chessy and both the twins look at Chessy with a smirk.

“Uh ya, there’s more than enough.” Chessy answers and gets a bowl ready for you. “Are you eating too, Elizabeth?”

“In a bit. Just have to do something quickly first.” Elizabeth says and then leaves. The twins finish and leave quickly before you sit down at the island. Chessy makes a bowl for you and gets another one for her. She places one in front of you and sits down beside you.

“Thank you, Chessy.” You tell her with a smile.

“Not a problem, hon.” She says with a matching smile. “You look beautiful btw.”

“Thank you. We have to dress nice and in black.” You tell her.

“I think you always look beautiful.” She blurts out before her brain processes it. You look at her and she notices a small blush on your cheeks.

“Th-thank you. I um- I also think the same about you.” You tell her and she blushes and smiles at you.

“Thanks hon.” You both finish your lunch while chatting with each other until you have to go back to work as guests are arriving.

Chessy got changed while you and other staff started welcoming and entertaining the guests. When she comes out, she can tell right away that you’re starting to get tense from the amount of people you have to welcome and tell them where to go, as well as letting the staff know what to do. Chessy comes to your side and puts an arm around your shoulders and she sees you visibly relax after realising who it is.

“Half the guests are here already and it’s like none of the staff know what to do.” You complain to her and she giggles.

“Well you’re doing amazing, hon. I’m here to support you if you need it.” She says and you smile at her.

“Thanks Chessy.” You say and lean into her.

Half an hour later, Chessy had to go help the twins with something and has to leave you alone for a few minutes. You greeted more guests and had to assist some of the staff on what to do and you were informed that you’re down a few staff members.

“What should we do?”

“There’s not enough of us for everything now.”

“Nothing will get done in time.”

The other staff members are all looking for guidance from you and it’s all becoming too much. You’re looking around for Elizabeth and all you see is too many people and a bunch of staff that are depending on you. You start breathing heavier and feel like you’re trapped.

“I’ll be right back.” You tell them and make a beeline for the house.

Chessy was coming back and was looking for you, she sees you emerge from a group of staff and almost sprint to the house. She follows after you and sees you pacing around the living room in the house.

“Hon, everything alright?” She asks as she sees you stressed. You look up at her and shake your head. She walks over to you and she puts her arms around you in a hug. You immediately hug her back and take a deep breath. “It’s alright, you’re gonna be alright.” She tells you as she strokes your head. You really want to answer her verbally or tell her thank you but you seem to have lost the ability to speak at the moment.

Chessy leads you to one of the couches and you end up cuddling on her on the couch. You take a strand of her hair between your fingers and start twirling it with your fingers. Chessy watches you do it and lets you as it seems to relax you, to be honest she’d let you play with her hair no matter what.

You take a few more deep breaths and are able to speak softly to her. “Thank you.” You say and she rubs your back.

“I’ll always be here to support you and help you through whatever you need.” She tells you genuinely. At that moment you can’t help but lean into her and kiss her. She’s shocked at first but then relaxes into the kiss and kisses you back. You both pull back after a few seconds and you look at her surprised.

“You kissed me back?” You ask confused and she nods. “Why?”

“Because I like you.” She states like it’s obvious and she goes to kiss you again but you stop her by putting a hand on her chest.

“There’s something you should know, I’m- I’m autistic.” You say and she looks at you confused.

“Ok…? And?”

“Well I wanted to let you know in case it changes how you might feel about me.” You tell her and she strokes your cheek.

“Oh hon, it doesn’t change how I feel about you in the slightest.” She says genuinely and you lean into her touch.

“OH MY GOD! I have to go find Elizabeth and tell her about the staff situation.” You say suddenly and bolt out of the house.

Chessy chuckles at your actions and proceeds to follow you out of the house. When she catches up with you, you’re talking to Elizabeth and she goes to handle the situation.

“You know, I think we were in the middle of something.” She says as she reaches you and you turn to look at her with a smile.

“Sorry, we’re experiencing a staff shortage.” You say and she places an arm around your waist. You lean into her body and she kisses the top of your head. You turn to look at her and you move some strands of hair out of her face. “I do like you as well, in case it wasn’t obvious with the kiss.” You tell her and she giggles.

“You’re cute, it was pretty obvious after that but I don’t mind hearing you say it.” She says and you both kiss.

Across the yard the twins and Nick see you both kiss. He proceeds to hand both of them $5 as they guessed she was going to confess to you tonight. “I’m not betting with you guys again.” He says as they both pocket their $5 with a smile.

23: Dobiella (The villainess maker)

The 20 people in the villainess maker fanbase have already agreed this girl is literally just Dobby as a anime girl from the way she speaks to the fact that their names sound similar. Most maids in OI tend to follow 2 personality traits: either they devoted to the point of nearly being husks or they are mean bullies who pick on their boss. Dobiella though... she takes that to a whole new level, girly isn't even a person she literally needs a purpose to live, even Ayla is creeper out by it, That hairstyle she has is wack too.

22: Lina (the tyrants perfumer)

Similar to Dobiella except it's not to such a concerning degree. She's a decent character but the bar is already quite low given how the characters are simple in TTOP.

21: Ellie (50 tea recipes of the Duchess)

Her design is cute I won't lie, braids and glasses are a classic ill always be a sucker for. But again, she's really not much other than a shy follower to Chloe ready to defend her. Won't change the fact she's still my favorite character in 50 tea recipes of the Duchess.

20: Ruby's maid (how to get my husband on my side)

I honestly cannot remember her name 😞 I can't remember which chapter she debuts in so I kinda just gave up on looking. anyway when it comes to personality she's still a tad dull but she's still got more than the last 3. The design is pretty meh but I can't fault her too much, she was pretty nice for all the times I remember her on screen.

19: Emily (actually I was the real one)

on one she really annoys me for some reason, probably cause she comes across as a real suck up but on the other hand, I can understand her desires for fancy clothes and materials.

18: Mina (Actually I was the real one)

Cosettes maid she had for like.. 5 chapters. I know a lot of people hate her for talking smack about Keira and not being grateful enough but the girl was also a homeless woman with her little brother. Cosette used Mina as a tool for her goals and let her get deported when everything went wrong during the rite arc. Remember the main reason Mina did what she did was because Cosette was using her brother's comfort and safety as leverage.

17: Annie (The villainess turns the hourglass)

Again, can't blame a maid for wanting a little more in life, with that being said it feels a tad weird whenever she acts like a pet whenever Aria offers her gold. Don't really like the fact that she also covered up Annie's freckles, let the Freckles be seen! 😤

16: Urania (From maid to queen)

Her rank might go up or down in the future since I've just started reading maid to queen but I liked the idea of a protagonist who could actually be selfish instead of perfectly kind or badass. Urania gets way too much hate so far in my opinion because she's actually more realistic and the only thing I'm concerned about is that she might become too stupid in her goal to return as a concubine since it's how she died in the first timeline.

15: Rose (Actually I was the real one)

The most iconic it Keiras maids. I preferred her first appearances more but for a maid with another personality dedicated to Keira but she's not as annoying as Emily and shows up more often than Mina. I do like her but there are better ones.

14: Emma (the villainess turns the hourglass)

out of all the evil maids Emma was one of the first who at least did it in a way that wasn't just tampering with food. She was a noble who lost her wealth and suffered a miscarriage so it did explain why a maid would be classist and raise Mielle with a superiority complex. Not bad for a side villain.

13: Anna (Not your typical reincarnation story)

I didn't really care about out her at first, she had a lot of Kuu dere traits and for a while she felt like a robot, thankfully she develops little by little as time went on and I love her for it.

12: Jessie (the villainess turns the hourglass)

Homegirl was just trying to do her job and I love her for it. After what Aria put her through in the first timeline she deserves that extra compensation.

11: The head maid (How to get my husband on my side)

Does this woman even have a name? 💀 I may have said braids+glasses were one of my favorite designs for maids but it's only 2nd to the experienced and almost muscular like designs. Beyond that her personality legit makes sense. She is universally hated for not accepting Ruby and while i do think attacking her for no reason is stupid it makes sense that's she not gonna immediately trust a stranger when she has people like Ellen to take care of. Speaking of that the relationship Ellen had with the head maid for as little of it that is seen is still very wholesome. We love our older ladies.

10: Emily..again (Death is the only ending for the villainess)

Probably the most iconic of OI maids and of course I like Emily but I do wish she had a little more to do with the plot, not bad but there are better ones.

9: Granna (Handmade tales of the handmaid)

Another maid protagonist but her concept is actually unique, a old woman who passed away of natural causes unexpectedly transmigrated as a 15 year old maid and with her experience cleans the mansion she works for with ease. The story is so far amazing and Granna mentally being an old woman instead of a ordinary office worker gets her extra points.

8: Lilian (who made me a princess)

Give this woman a raise Claude! That woman did so much for Athy I still consider her the one true parent to the kid.

7: Delice (Remarried empress)

Delice may only be remembered for being mutilated by Rashta but she still holds a special place in my heart. I felt so bad for her when her brother just told her nothing was wrong when Rashta was growing unstable and next thing you know during her next shift she gets framed and tortured 😢. Rashta I love you but not cool girl! In another universe Delice got to be spared and run away to start a little flower garden or a toy store with her dream husband.

6: Sancha (Sister I will be the queen in this life)

This little cutie deserves more than what she got. Don't get me wrong the story treats her pretty well when it comes to her new life and Ariande as a friend but at the same time.. I kinda think she exists to be the token homeless girl for Ariande to bring in to look better, she doesn't do much outside of cheer her lady on and I don't really care for her love interest that much. However I have noticed that Sancha is usually at her best when she's away from Ariande meaning she does more then be a cheerleader. Her moments of refusing to forgive Malleta were her best moments for her character. Speaking of which..

5: Malleta (Sister I will be the queen in this life)

one of my most favorite problematic queens though that's not saying much considering most of my favorite characters are toxic women. First of all: the character design, Sancha looks cute and all but she has the same super cute petite and youthful look most OI maids have. I know it's just because SITQITL puts non conventionally attractive characters as villains with exception of Ceasre and Isabella but I still love that Malleta stands out with a plus sized body, freckles, and narrow eyes instead of doe eyes. Her personality while admittedly trashy is still so entertaining given how delulu she can be. Personally I wish there were scenes where she and Isabella would just be gossip girls and talk shit about all Isabellas enemies. God why did she have to die so soon 😔

4: Chuchu (isn't being a maid better than being a princess?)

Pay no attention to the fact that she shares a name with a LOZ monster. Like I said my favorite kinds of maids are the muscular types who could carry a an entire table which is why Chuchu is one the greats. She's a total gentle giant and I'm so glad the series didn't kick her out completely when the FL moved on.

3: Helena (kill the villainess)

Im gonna throw hands with Helena haters cause what did she even do!? She made mistakes and was willing to apologize and make up for them and that still wasn't enough. Istg internalized misogyny did her dirty I tell you. As the 2nd FL I'm glad the author treated her with respect and actually brought up that Helena has feelings too just like Eris. What I loved the most about her was how she realistically handled the usual evil maid when some random maid put sand in Eris's dessert. When Eris slapped her Helena stood up for what was right and told Eris there was no reason to abuse someone else when they could easily just be fired. 👏 thank you Helena, thank you for finally doing what was sensible by firing the maid instead.

2nd: Sienna (isn't being a maid better than being a princess)

It was really hard to decide between Helena and Sienna so even though Sienna is up higher they are actually tied. Just gonna say it, out of all the FL's she beats all of them in terms of character design because that braid combined with green is perfect. The manhwa she's from is pretty short but it's still really wholesome albeit with a few cliches and random sad flashbacks.

1st: Bridgette. (This isekai maid is forming a union)

Reddit can complain about isekai maid villainizing nobles too much but I won't care because Bridgette, like Helena, IS a maid and naturally would be against workplace abuse. It's funny how quick they'll be about complaining that the nobles are one note because they don't have justifiable reasons to slap a maid while they don't bat an eye at the numerous counts of villainized maids in OI beforehand. Back to the point though Bridgette is one of the most complex protagonists I've ever seen. She can be mean, she can be kind, she can rash and she can still be resilient. That's what makes her so relatable she's not a single personality teathered to a ball and chain. Not only that but it's her and the entire story that made me feel comforted knowing I wasn't the only one turned off by the iffy tropes in OI being supported.

These tropes are all shown through flashbacks of Bridgettes past lives and I have to point out how much they still feel so unique even if they are the same soul, each of them making me cry one way or another. (Fawn and Muriel, my babies! 😭)

they are loving the colder weather. i keep forgetting to record when i take them to the park but they are THRIVING. i’ll try to grab some footage when we go tomorrow.

i also found annie with an empty chip bag this morning (chip bag was already empty prior, she had just licked the crumbs) so she was 50% full of guilt, but 100% pleased to have eaten chip crumbs.

rodeo was recently inconsolable that his bone got stuck underneath our coffee table but i helped him get it out so he’s better now. actually i took a video of that and will probably post that in a bit after some minor editing lol

Candida Santomauro vince il trofeo Ventofashion con la sua collezione di abiti e accessori moderni, realizzati all’uncinetto sull’Isola

Grande successo di pubblico domenica, 18 agosto 2024, per la sesta edizione dell’evento Fashion Week Ventotene, ideata dalla stilista Elena Rodica Rotaru. L’evento, organizzato in un luogo simbolo per la nostra Europa, l’isola di Ventotene, è stato dedicato alla Pace, alla convivenza in armonia delle persone, in un momento storico difficile che attraversiamo, pieno di violenze e incomprensioni. “Il numero 6 è il numero che simbolizza la pace nel mondo. Il numero 6 è l’amore. Attraverso il tema scelto, vogliamo far emergere un filo simbolico che unisce l’antichità Egizia all'Eleganza e all'Arte Italiana, al Made in Italy, alla gioia del vivere insieme”.

Il Galà, a causa delle condizioni avverse del tempo, si è svolto presso il Centro Polivalente dell’Isola invece che nella location storica di Piazza Castello. La Sala dei Convegni, che in passato ha ospitato eventi d’importanza nazionale ed internazionale, ha accolto un pubblico numeroso ed entusiasta, formato da turisti e abitanti dell’Isola, insieme a ospiti arrivati da tutt’Italia.

A vincere il trofeo Ventofashion, sesta Edizione, è stata Candida Santomauro, una vera artista che è nata e si è formata a Ventotene. La Giuria ha particolarmente apprezzato la sua collezione “Crete”, che comprende lavorazioni elaborate, realizzate a mano, accessori creati all’uncinetto e oggetti decorativi in ceramica. La sua sfilata piena di energia ha avuto come protagonisti bambini e ragazzi presenti sull’Isola: l’idea vincente di coinvolgere gli ospiti dell’Isola è ormai un’abitudine consolidata e apprezzata dell’Evento.

Seconda, Carla Ruggieri, protagonista del film documentario “Sarte Avventura”, andato in onda su Rai Tre. Con la sua collezione, ha fatto tornare il pubblico negli anni 50’ 70’ 90’ mostrando degli splendidi abiti da sposa e da prima comunione indossati dalle proprietarie per le occasioni più importanti della loro vita, tanti anni fa. Si tratta di donne e ragazze della provincia di Rieti, dei borghetti e paesini laziali: ogni abito ha una storia, raccolta e raccontata nel documentario dalla protagonista insieme a Elena Rodica Rotaru. Così è nato il documentario, a bordo del camper di “Sarte Avventura”. Un’umanità ritrovata, le storie di felicità e spensieratezza attraverso abiti bellissimi, nella storia del nostro territorio!

Colore dominante - il bianco della pace, impreziosito da accessori dorati, con accenti sull’eleganza del plissettato, la maestosità delle forme classiche, semplici ma di effetto, e dei materiali ricercati.

La serata è stata completata da momenti artistici che hanno conquistato il pubblico, grazie alle voci e le canzoni evergreen di Antonella Brini e Jano Di Gennaro, in veste anche di conduttori - presentatori dell’evento. Un dei momenti più apprezzati è stato quello della sfilata di abiti ispirati al mondo arabo e all’Africa, firmata da Elena Rodica Rotaru. L’Organizzatrice del Festival ci ha portati in un viaggio pieno di colori, con tuniche impreziosite dai disegni tradizionali, turbanti eleganti e mantelli pregiati - tutti abiti raccolti da lei nei viaggi in paesi come Egitto, Dubai Turchia, Tunisia o Marocco. Grande entusiasmo e calorosa accoglienza per la presenza di Elisangela Dos Santos Santano, originaria del Brasile, la vincitrice in carica del Concorso nazionale “Miss Badante”, giunto quest’anno all’ottava edizione. Applausi calorosi a scena aperta anche per i numerosi bambini protagonisti dei balli pieni di energia presentati e diretti da Candida Silvestri.

La stilista emergente Giorgia Benjamin è una ragazza giovane di 22 anni che si è approcciata con degli abiti in omaggio al padre egiziano. Carla Ruggieri ha presentato degli abiti da sposa e da comunione che attraversavano gli anni 30, 50, 60, 90 praticamente rivitalizzandoli dagli armadi in cui erano posti. Bella l’idea di far eun film dove raccontare la storia dei proprietari di questi abiti tra i quali il suo di sessant’anni fa!”.

Yes. Okay listen I know what everyone thinks about Eric and his route but it is so GOOD. Yes cheating is bad womp womp, it's just a game. Yes I find it weird that my character and him considers their first date the night they spent at the restaurant (and other stuff like this) but oh well. It brought so much drama to the table and I'm here for it. I'm playing this game to entertain myself, not to choose morally right and boring routes. I saw Eric. Eric is hot. I married Eric. It's really that easy. It had a few other interesting story arcs, but in my heart I always just wanted to finally pursue that man.

My older sister and her friend played it when it came out! She also created a character for me when I was like 8, but I quickly forgot about it. When I was 10 or 11 I remembered the game but it felt like a fever dream. But I found it and created Annie! Playing it ever since.

Che vuol dire "metratura non esagerata" nel tuo commento a quella casa? Avere una grande metratura potrebbe essere un fattore negativo?

Solitamente su siti e riviste di architettura e design si tende a dare spazio a progetti con metrature molto ampie, ridicole nella maggior parte dei casi, o monolocali minuscoli che in modo "divertente" strizzano l'occhio al concetto delle tiny house (modo di fare che trovo un po' pericoloso e ingenuo perché non fa che avallare il malessere del mercato immobiliare che, soprattutto nelle grandi città, è chiaramente fuori controllo). Quindi riuscire a fare un progetto esteticamente interessante, per il mio gusto, con zona notte e zona giorno separate, living grande con cucina semi aperta, due camere da letto, due bagni (mancano i bidet ma in uno si potrebbe aggiungere) e lavanderia, in 79 mq, credo sia intelligente.

La grande metratura non è sempre indice di un buon progetto e di una casa funzionale. Poi, ovvio, se mi dicessero "ti faresti il caschetto nero per 5 anni di seguito per avere 50 mq di casa in più?" risponderei:

Annie was also made a district 13 citizen while Finnick remained a guest of 13. Peeta can move around 13 with greater ease. Coin declared Peeta an orphan with no guardian except for 13 as a whole. The jacker clearing operations were part of training. Everyday there were citizen wide training drills that Katniss didn't have to take part in. But when Peeta woke up he went straight to the drills. Half of every day were spent training and on the job training. 5 people died while Annie and Peeta were training but Coin vetoed everything and called them "learning experiences. There was an incapacitor in their uniforms but Coin wanted her assasin mutts to kill someone to mentally burden Peeta and Annie she honestly believed that it would Incentivize more self control. They had to see footage of their errors after they were killed. Peeta tried to shoot a bullet in his skull after killing a trainer but his incapacitor came online. He had a mental breakdown afterwards when he woke up in the hospital. The same thing happened to Annie. The hospital told them the capitol killed them not Annie or Peeta fanning their rage. Annie saw Coin smile as she killed trainer Jones, the same smile Snow gave them when they were sent to the training center and tried to kill Coin but didn't get as far as Peeta when she gave a murderous look to Coin, the president panicked and had the Incapacitor put online before Annie could release the trigger of her rifle. Guilt over their kills did increase their focus with even more willpower applied to training. Their fear of episodes was greatly increased.

Coin also ordered them to give eulogies at their funerals. Peeta gave a heartfelt eulogy apologizing for their deaths and stated that the capitol must pay and that no one is safe from the capitol until it falls. Annie gave a speech that subtly attacked Coin. Stated that human life was not valued by tyrants(plural), and that her victims lived full and complete lives before they were unnecessarily killed but where tyranny rules life can be taken coming as a suprise analogous to the suprise a fish has at biting a fishermen's hook. Coin liked at how eloquently Annie spoke gave that smile and wanted to see her more in propos. She made a speech forgiving Annie and Peeta for the conclusion of the funeral. Katniss witnessed both deaths on October 7 including Peeta trying to off himself and Annie pointing her rifle at Coin. She was compelled to speak at the funeral by coin and given a card to read, she did a bad job.

Coin ordered a propo where Peeta and Annie's words were taken out of context and made into attacks on the capitol. Katniss's scripted lines were added into the propo.

The D13 president invented a story where those 5 trainers were killed by capitol sleeper bat mutts and Annie and Peeta killed the mutts after the funeral. This propo was not aired In 13. But Katniss, Haymitch, Johanna were shown the propos to emphasize Coin's command over them. Coin also would not have minded Finnick or Katniss being one of the accidents and would have let her mutts off themselves in that scenario.
