It was like you had just signed your soul away - the way he looked down at you and how impossibly wider his grin became the moment his name fell from those beautiful lips of yours. "That's my good girl..." Alastor growled before his lips came crashing down on yours. The lights continued to flicker, the dial on the radio playing soft jazz in the background twisted back and forth from 88.7 to 107.7 FM*, occasionally stopping long enough for a couple of notes or words or static to come through the speakers (depending on what kind of station it landed on). Suddenly you felt a sharp pain in your lower lip - he bit you. Alastor held your quivering lip between his teeth as he pulled back, chuckling softly before releasing the sensitive skin. His own tongue slithered out to lap up the blood that stained his own before he went back in to clean yours. Satisfied with the job he'd done, Alastor pulled back far enough for you to see his face and the drool slowly seeping from the corners of that wide smile of his. "My magnificent, good fucking girl..." he whispered, and then in the next moment, you were empty. Alastor had pulled out of you, and his chest no longer pressed against your back.
* I'mma just say they have the same broadcasting frequencies in hell as they do here. Not even sure how I could make it different anyway. Also don't worry, he's not gone. I'm honestly having so much fun with this now! I didn't expect my first little thirst to take off the way it did, but now that it has, I feel like maybe I should tease you all a bit 😘

(Bit of an abstract question but I trust that you'll understand what I mean.)
Which one rings more true to you?
Morty will never have Rick as much as Rick has him.
Or
Rick will never have Morty as much as Morty has him.
OHOIHOHO i have returned to a fantastic ask…
In my absence i have still been dutifully rewatching so do not fear… i am going to take creative liberty and say what i think abt both of these AND which one i think is more applicable
Morty will never has rick as much as rick has him, because he does Rick’s every command. He relies on rick daily, ad that fear is clearly shown in the fear hole. Morty has never had much control over their dynamic, and there is a very bad power imbalance that mostly leaves Morty scared to rebel or ends up with him immediately rejected. The good moments Morty has with Rick are often immediately overshadowed by an intense consequence or retaliation or life lesson from rick. Essentially, Morty is at ricks mercy, and without him, Morty wouldn’t be the same. Morty has stayed with ricks multiple times after considering leaving, (ie s1e11, s3e1, get schwifty, the whole rick and two crows thing. Morty knows rick is awful, but still finds moments to defend him, and relies on the positive moments over the negatives. In a lot of ways, i think Morty will never have rick as much as rick has im in the sense of control.
However, rick will never have Morty as much as Morty has him in a sense of need. We have seen universes where Morty’s don’t have Ricks, but we have never seen a Rick without a Morty, (even prime was implied to have worked in a partnership before, maybe even a Morty). Ricks need Mortys in a matter of dependency. Rick sees Morty as an irrational attachment, while Morty just sees rick as rick. But rick would never admit he needs Morty, even said by evil Morty in the s5 finale. “Sure, Ricks could scour infinity for naturally-occurring grandsons, but why bother? So much work. Such an admission of need.” While most ricks need Morty’s just to hide their brain waves, c-137 Rick needs Morty out of attachment, out of codependency. Any other Rick would’ve abandoned Morty in s1e6. And even though Rick was a dick in that episode, any other Rick would’ve left Morty to die because they don’t care. There are so many examples where Rick is worried about Morty, protective, proud; all weaknesses. He knows that Ricks aren’t supposed to care about their Mortys, and he thinks it makes him LESS of a Rick to care. So he refuses to, even though he needs Morty
So basically. I think it’s the second one. Morty is fine without rick when he turns himself in to the federation, summer had to encourage him to get rick back. Rick needs Morty, and this need means Morty DOES have control over him. Rick’s actions during adventures are often defined directly by what Morty does or thinks, and Rick will always knock him down even if he’s proud, because he can’t be seen as anything other than the Rickest rick, and the rickest rick wouldn’t be controlled by Morty.
Also Morty is so good at manipulating rick into doing shit that kid has his grandpa wrapped around his finger whether rick knows it or not. So basically, Morty has Rick, has control over Rick, and while they both have control over each other, I think Rick will never have the effect on Morty he means to (we see Morty getting more fed up w and ignoring ricks antics), but Morty will always have an effect on Rick even if Morty himself is oblivious to it
I hope i answered yr question well !!!

Hai. What should I call you?
Btw I love your story and headcanons, but I am to afraid to ask at the first. But here I am...
I want to know about your headcanons. How Thranduil would react if someone kidnap Legolas, cause I need it for my story.
Thank you 💙
Hello my friend, the Elvenqueen! :)
My Tumblr "kids" call me Nana, but that's probably weird for everyone else, so you can just call me Sotwk. Just pretend there's an "i" between W and K-- Sotwik. My name is just the acronym for "Sons of the Woodland King", which is the main point of my blog and Tumblr existence. <3
I am so honored that you enjoy my writings, because I think very highly of your blog as well! Your "incorrect quotes" and funny convos between Thranduil and the other elf lords are hilarious. It's like a Middle-earth sitcom, and I agree with how you characterize everybody! I too believe that Oropher and Gil-galad had a pretty intense rivalry going on, and that Thranduil and Elrond were always great friends, with Thranduil being the snarky one and Elrond the long-suffering one. :)
Now, regarding your question: "How would Thranduil react if someone kidnapped Legolas?". The situation would depend on whether it's Legolas as a child/baby, or Legolas as an adult. How old would Legolas be in your story? Is the Elvenqueen still alive then?
Those details aside, here are a few headcanons I have about Thranduil and his protective nature, especially when it concerns his family:
Thranduil was a bit of a hot-head in his youth, and as he grew into a warrior, he developed a violent streak. He fought in the extremely bloody War of Wrath, so he became accustomed to a "kill to survive" or "kill the evil" outlook. Killing has never really bothered him as long as he believes it is for just reasons. (Like in Desolation of Smaug, where he just hacked that orc's head off without blinking.)
A lot of this was tempered by the love of his life, the Elvenqueen, who is very kind and sweet and definitely more of a pacifist. She, more than anyone in Middle-earth, is able to reason with Thranduil and calm him down through his rages.
There is literally only one thing that has ever scared Thranduil, and that is losing his wife. Obviously he is scared of his sons being harmed too, (or just Legolas, if you believe he was an only child) but his love for his Queen is beyond measure. Not to sound cliché, but she is definitely Thranduil's greatest weakness.
Once he became a King and a husband and father, Thranduil's nature softened to someone calmer, wiser, and more peaceful. He learned to be more lenient with violators of his kingdom's laws, giving them fair trials and opportunities to redeem themselves.
However, offenses against the royal family were met with harsh judgement, and anyone who so much as threatened the safety of the Queen or Prince(s) were shown no mercy. Orcs, men, or dwarves were simply executed. Elves were given a chance to choose banishment, depending on the violations.
What if Legolas were kidnapped? I actually think this would be nearly impossible to do, especially in my SotWK universe where Legolas has four older brothers looking out for him. But if it were somehow to happen, Thranduil himself would ride out to hunt down and deal with the kidnappers, and would not stop or rest until they are found. Most of Mirkwood's armed forces as well as their hunters would be deployed to join the search.
The only way a kidnapper would succeed in taking Legolas out of Mirkwood is if they are able to exit the kingdom's forest borders before Thranduil realizes what has happened. Thranduil has a special connection to the forest itself, and would be able to use certain powers to locate any movement within his realm. (This power diminished somewhat late in the Third Age as the darkness of Dol Goldur spread, but he never lost it.)
Once the kidnappers are caught, there will be no trial or recourse for them. They would be executed on the spot by Thranduil himself.
I hope these headcanons can help you write your story or inspire other ideas! Thank you for the ask and for everything you bring to our Elvenking's fandom!

Quiet Time 5/7
What am I feeling today?
I’m doing better today than I was yesterday. I got up earlier and I have an actual plan and activities for today which I know I really needed. Just a little anxious getting things together and meetings for my new job today but also excited and grateful for the opportunity! Last night was a little worrisome with my cat bc I had to take her to the ER but she’s on meds now and hopefully she’ll recover swiftly. Overall, I’m feeling hopeful for what the day brings.
Romans 9 NIV
(v. 7-8) “Nor because they are his descendants are they all Abraham’s children. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” In other words, it is not the children by physical descent who are God’s children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as Abraham’s offspring.”
basically, you don’t have to directly descend from Abraham to be considered a child of God :)
(v. 14-15) “What then shall we say? Is God unjust? Not at all! For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.””
I do have mixed feelings about this and I’ll discuss it further with someone who knows the Bible better than me but overall it is shown that God does have mercy and compassion on us.
(v. 16) “It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.”
This is something I struggled with early on and I know some others feel this way as well, that they’re trying or have this desire to be close to God but can’t quite get there. For those people, I highly encourage you to seek the kingdom - go to church, ask someone to study the Bible with you, fellowship with believers, be open and submissive to what they have to teach you <3
(v. 18) “Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden.”
This again is something I’d like to discuss because it has always come across as unfair to me, but then again, what do I know🤷🏻♀️
(v. 19-21) “One of you will say to me: “Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?” But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?”
I understand the analogy He is trying to make here but also the comparison of clay to a human life doesn’t again seem fair. Although, God is our creator and has the right to have us fulfill whatever plan He has planned.
(v. 32-33) “Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone. As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.””
This just reminds me of Luke 17 - my main urge from this is of course we will encounter stuff in our daily lives that will cause us to stumble and some of them are tests, but so long as we remain firm in our relationship with Christ, there will be no shame and we’ll have the ability to resist.

Changing Voices, Part 2 lol
Aoki!
Aoki is split into two warring groups of code/writing, which kind of bicker over who gets control. These personalities/protocols are generally referred to as “The Comforter”/“Aoki”, and “The Depths”/occasionally “Aokigahara”, although his full name goes back and forth sometimes, because it kind of refers to both as a collective.
This is usually shown via his appearance and mannerisms:
Aoki/The Comforter is stuttery, lacks confidence, tends to apologize a lot, and gets overwhelmed easily. He cares a ton for everyone he loves, and the empathy sometimes backlashes similarly to how Dusk’s empathy hurts her. He’s expressive and sweet, and wears usually very comfy but somewhat formal clothing. His speech patterns are soft-spoken and polite, bordering on formal at times, but always genuine. He smiles most of the time, but when Aoki cries, it’s full of haunting wails and sobs that tear his vocal cords. His preferred weapon is a halberd.
The Depths is mournful, and always cries in silence. His default expression is quiet and solemn, and he almost never smiles at all. His voice is slow and paced, his speech patterns extremely formal and often rehearsed. He cares much for everyone he loves, but does not really know how to show it besides his “mercy”. He wears very formal clothing and his voice sounds dull and whispery, almost like he’s moments from death at any time, or even some kind of ghost. His preferred weapon is a boxcutter.
The best example of these two personalities working together is when Aoki fights. He switches between boxcutter and halberd depending on the situation, and can be both solemn and cold while also being cheery and sweet. Aoki will actually SNARK while in battle (“I am genuinely surprised that you thought intimidation would FLUSTER me of all things.”) because the two sides of him can do that when they work together. Otherwise, they tend to take turns affecting him more, the Depths protocol really kicking in when he’s faced with the decision of killing or sparing someone. That’s why he crashed during the Mix scene: “FILE CONFLICT DETECTED”. His code itself contradicts itself regularly, causing him to flicker back and forth between “I will freeze you to death” and “why on earth would I kill anyone?!”. This tends to cause him a lot of internal turmoil, obviously. It probably won’t be resolved until he accepts both sides and his code is fixed, probably by himself.
That flickering and crashing makes so much sense omg
Poor guy

Tell us about Vanya
I AM SO GLAD YOU ASKED I'M GOING TO KISS YOU
Really messy lore because I CANNOT be bothered even trying to make it all cohesive. I think starting with her family might be easiest. Basically, the tree is her mother, Adora. Then father, Zar. From her parents came her two siblings who are twins, Eros and Jolene. Of course, she came last, nearly a hundred years later. Now you can't have a dysfunctional vampire family without SOME problems. So as fate goes, Adora, Eros, & Jolene are all diagnosed psychopaths (guys I promised I did research into it I'm not tossing it around loosely 🙏🙏🙏) Vanya being the odd one out and a mild projection is diagnosed with a touch of the tism. So that brings me to her early life when she was about 9 years old. Vanya was and still is extremely gifted, as a child, she experimented with plants and flowers, her talents with them becoming apparent to her most wonderful (mildly horrible) father. Her father, in his most good grace, encouraged her to keep practicing with the flowers and plants, pushing her to be the best she could be. With the approval from her dad making her feel good she worked much harder, even striving to become a doctor at one point. She dreamed of helping people, no matter how low or high in society. Though, when she turned 17 everything began to rapidly change, her father's motivation had finally shown itself. He wanted to use her to control the under city and all the people who lived inside of it. Her father started to pressure her to work on something, a drug to keep people under their thumb. And she did that, though unhappy. This also came with testing. Testing on innocent people and vampires, though typically people no one would miss or bat an eye if they'd gone missing. Vanya felt extreme guilt and Shame, her first test subjects she killed herself, an act of mercy she thought. It was right. However, time passed and when you're a vampire, months only feel like hours and years feel like a month. And when it flies by so fast you start to become desensitized to the work you hate, you almost start to feel a newly found passion for it. With this found passion the experiments Vanya ran began to get more fucked up and more so for her own curiosity than anyone else's. It was practically considered torture what she'd do to these poor people. And even though she found a passion for it, she still had a deep and buried hate for it. But that wouldn't save her from reaping what she sows. This is basically where I end her lore because I have NO idea what her punishment should be and how she should be punished, logically she should probably die but she is my little pookie bear and I refuse to wipe her off the census like that yk😣☹️😔
Oh and fun fact ig Vanya practically depends on her fathers approval for survival, she will have the worst breakdown you've ever seen if he even shows just a little that he's disappointed. She will destroy everything around her.
Most of the work Vanya does is to benefit her family, no matter what she does, even if she thinks she enjoys doing it, she will always be in service to others and never herself. That is her fate unfortunately.

Prompt 9: Fair
Content Warning: Vomit mention, police brutality, brutal murder and torture description
Esredes liked to consider himself a merciful person.
Maybe that wasn't quite the case in the past. There were things he did not look upon fondly in his Temple Knight days, for certain. Even then, he liked to notice, some of his fellow Temple Knights hesitated far less when it came to matters that did not need to be so bloody. An arrest order was an arrest order. A kill order was a kill order. It was a simple distinction. When an entire village declared rebellion on the See, that was a 'restore the peace' order. It didn't mean killing. Arresting them all surely was just fine. But the villagers would not surrender. They kept going and going and going, as if possessed in a complete and feral rage. It was nearly impossible to hold them down long enough to shackle them. And all the while, he heard cries he couldn't forget as some of his fellow Temple Knights forgot their non-lethal subduing tactics.
Never again, Esredes told himself in the aftermath of it all, after suppressing the urge to vomit many times over. Never again, never again, never again. He had his transfer papers in two days later, and declared this a new beginning for himself. He would know the meaning of mercy. He would be merciful...
There were so many lost and youthful faces among the Temple Knights. Esredes had seen helmets go up and terrified, soft faces underneath. Even when it was counterintuitive to victory, he found himself backing off, backing away. When they begged for mercy, Esredes tied their hands together, or picked them up gently in his hand. "Worry not," Esredes said in a soft voice. "I won't hurt you if you don't resist." Mercy, of course, was simple. Depending on how much of a threat they were, they'd be under watch in the makeshift infirmary in hopes they'd behave and see reason. Or they'd be kept in a cold cell and fed limited rations until they broke and begged. Some of them wouldn't break and beg. Some clung to screaming at them Halone would deliver them unto her hell, no matter how many times he tried to reason with them. It was a sad sight, to watch them wither away. Esredes sighed. What would it take to make them see reason?
Those Warriors of Light had mostly been soft-faced adventurers as well. They screamed just as loud as everyone else. The lighter part of Esredes could barely resist the way they cried. When he had the chance, he tried to reason, or he put their wrists together and binded them very firmly. But these were not ordinary adventurers. When he had the jump, he had to take it. They could kill him and everyone he loved in an instant. It's for the greater good, he told himself. They're going to kill everyone you love and keep the war from ending. This is for all those children freezing in the snow. They'll understand from the beyond. Surely it was bearable, right? They were so stupid and lacking, they couldn't possibly be organic beings. Hydaelyn must have created them just to kill.
When Alastor tried to claim he was part of both sides, in bed with that House Knight overseeing the camp next to Witchdrop and yet still helping his, Esredes told him you can't have both, belittled him and screamed at him and slapped him and threatened to kill him. But when Clover, another Warrior of Light, had claimed she was also going to help both sides, Esredes told her he understood and was happy for her.
I am a merciful person. Esredes told himself. The average Dragoon or Temple Knight had killed far more of his people than a Warrior of Light ever did, yet he extended a hand to them and told them to let themselves be reborn in her icy love. It was only fair given the mercy shown to himself when he was first rescued, after all. Everyone could be like him.
Inquisitors killed just as many in cruel ways, but mercy was never in his mind. He reluctantly made passes for some that were regretful, but still ran through all the ways to kill them just in case. Otherwise, he continued to fantasize about killing them, or break their minds until there was nothing left.
When he found Warriors of Light after the war, he didn't care to hear their apologies, or how much Ysayle meant to them. No, he began reciting a list of names, and watched them cry with great pleasure. But when a Temple Knight or Dragoon came to his services, or seemed down and in need of help, there was Esredes, trying to assess and fix the problem and telling them they can redeem themselves.
When he found poachers who had hunted adolescent dragons, he broke the legs of the leader in front of the others and allowed the others the chance to surrender, which they took, and so he did not hurt them. "What are the chances of me getting out of this alive?" One asked him as Esredes cuffed him. "I don't know." He said lowly. "But I will be fair."
One always had to be merciful. That's why Esredes forced Yulionne, when she begged for her life being held prisoner, to kill her Inquisitor girlfriend to be spared. He'd felt awful the moment his rage lifted, and she'd forgiven him all too easily for it.
So had the young Dragoon man who attacked one of his and was tortured for information because of it. All it took was healing him and apologizing with an unfrosted, tiny cake. But why? Did he deserve to be forgiven?
It didn't matter. He was merciful. So many more Ishgardians would be dead if not for his mercy. It was true that he delighted in seeing them beg and cry, scream and shout. Some days in the Tribunal, he had back to back appointments, one in which he watched a violent murderer break their wrist on the chair bindings and did nothing as they screamed in pain until they passed out. And the very next appointment, he was telling another murderer how to live with herself in gentle tones. A Dark Knight once called this part of his practice 'dark therapy', and he took great offense to it. He did work no one else cared about in here, a vigilante wouldn't understand. How dare he?
Some people simply didn't appreciate how merciful he was. He had debated with himself too long on if he should just let Nidhogg destroy Ishgard when the Song came to a climax before sending himself and a faction to help. He resisted the urge to scream at every person who was distasteful to him they were ungrateful for his peoples' mercy upon them. They burned them and tore them apart, then wished the worst afterlife of all upon them, and still, in their everlasting love for Shiva's will, did they let this pathetic stone city not crumble to dust. Still in all of his mercy did Esredes resist figuring out how to hunt down every person who ever tried to kill his and dismember each of them while they screamed, all while asking where this mercy was for his people.
No, it wasn't because it was completely impractical to do so and it would mean retaliation and keeping the cycle going. Never mind the fact the best way to end a cycle was to kill everyone who was the problem. No, clearly it was because he was merciful, and knew better. He was a good judge of character. He knew best. He didn't condemn people- never mind how often he judged the worst intentions off a first impression but told others his friends were just young, stupid, or traumatized- to horrid fates. Not unless they were judged properly. The wicked would fall under him, and the ones who could be saved would be saved.
How else did he separate himself from those other, unmerciful, horrendous monsters he fought every single day?

November 07
1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
James 5:16 The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.
Proverbs 4:14-15 Do not set foot on the path of the wicked or walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, do not travel on it; turn from it and go on your way.
Jeremiah 9:24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
Psalm 89:18 For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king.
Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
May you remember the days of your youth in humility and and constantly seek the face of God, depending not on the arm of flesh for your strength but turning always to the Lord, forsaking all other sources of joy, pleasure, rest, encouragement, peace, comfort, so that you can receive the blessings He has waiting and reserved for you as you still yourself before Him and let Him change you from the inside out for a witness and testimony to those around, that they may know what you have learned: the Lord, He is God. Ezekiel 16
May you help the poor and needy, not being haughty or arrogant, overfed and unconcerned, but reaching out to others, letting your heart be touched with the needs and pain of others, and giving of your time, your attention, your ear, making little of yourself as you bring them to the feet of Jesus, Who will meet their needs, through the abundance He has shown you of mercy, acceptance, comfort, and compassion. Ezekiel 16
May you speak truthfully and deal honestly with all people, believers and non-believers, Christians and pre-Christians, citizens of the Kingdom and citizens of the world, for you name the name of Christ and bear the seal of God, walking in His presence and speaking as His representative; therefore, others will judge the unseen God by your words and deeds, and He will not allow His honor to be sullied or His reputation to be tarnished. Ezekiel 17
May you be fruitful and sheltering to all who come to you, for this is the heart of the abundant and compassionate God Who has selected you and planted you, setting you in a high and lofty place. Ezekiel 17
Beware the little foxes, My child. Ask of Me, and I will set a guard over your heart and keep watch over your mind, My dear one. When you have dwelt among the thorns and briers in the past, My recovered one, pain was normal and injury was expected. But now you walk in the light and I draw you nearer to Me, cleansing and healing old injuries, and removing the pain of old wounds to your heart. I am at work in your life healing the memories of the past. The pain you are feeling is the removal of the tips of the thorns which broke off long ago and remained embedded, buried deep and still hurting, releasing their bitter poison and preventing you from resting in My Spirit peacefully or moving in My Word easily. You have avoided these issues, for they are painful, but because they have remained, they affect you. They cause you to limp in your walk, and they cause you to draw back in pain from My work, unable to use your full grip or apply your full strength. You need not fear My hand in your life, My love. My heart is toward you, and My thoughts are for you. I have made plans to give you a future in My presence that you may have hope in the present. Give Me permission to complete My work in you, My precious one, for I would not have you constantly in pain. Though I wound you, yet will I bind the wound and heal it that you may be made whole and filled with joy, able once more to run freely and play easily. Wait in My presence, My love, and submit to My Spirit. Let the tears flow freely and allow My Word to comfort and strengthen you. My arms of love are holding you near My heart.
May you rejoice in the knowledge that you have a Mediator, an Advocate, an Intercessor, Who cares for you and about you, and Who has access to, and is accepted by, the righteous Judge of heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and Who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man, with a ministry superior to all others, based on a covenant founded on better, richer promises, wherein God has said that He will put His laws in the minds of His people and write His will on their hearts so that He will be their God and they will be His people, all of whom will know Him, from the least to the greatest, for He will forgive your wickedness and remember your sins no more. Hebrews 8
May you not forget what the Lord has done, but wait for His counsel, trusting God even in the wasteland, knowing He cares for you and has your path planned in order to do you good and bring you to His promises. Psalm 106
May you reject every image you turn to in your mind, all the wisdom you rely on to see you through, every source of comfort that you seek when bad days come, and exchange them all for the Lord your God Who saved you, doing great and wonderful miracles and awesome deeds to rescue you, so that He might be your Glory, the One you boast in, the Source of your strength, and the One Who supplies all your needs as you do His work, remaining ever vigilant to hear what He says, ready to give to those in need what He has so freely given to you without reserve through His compassionate grace. Psalm 106

Jesus Speaks On: What Is To Come After The Rapture, Part 1 Order of Events
I had a Communion service and afterwards, when I had received communion, the Lord said, "I will instruct you about these things." The Scripture that came to mind was, "This poor woman cried aloud and the Lord heard her."
"But I have done nothing to deserve this knowledge, Lord." You know, like...fasting for weeks...all the things that prophets are supposed to do, right? I haven't done anything like that. So, I don't deserve this knowledge, but I sure would like to have it anyway!
Anyway, He said, "Do you think, for one moment, this depends on your righteousness?"
And I thought for a moment, and I said, "Well I guess maybe I do."
"Well, you are wrong. All depends on My Mercy. My Love. And I have chosen to be merciful to you tonight."
"Lord, you are merciful to me every night."
"True. But why do you suppose you want to know all these things?"
And I thought for a minute, and I said, "Because You put the desire there?
"How did you guess that?" He said smiling.
"Oh dear, God, please help me hear clearly and accurately and to believe. "
"A very wise prayer My Love."
"The Destroyer - the planet Nibiru - will not come until the end. The things you have been shown are to happen after you are taken. This will be a record for some that they not lose hope but see clearly that I am in control, they can take Me at My word, and it is not hopeless.
"I want mankind to have confidence in Me and My Mercy. That is why I have foretold these events...at least in part. To have some kind of roadmap that will give them security, they can see things unfolding and will know I foretold and am in control. I already said that, didn't I?"
"Yes, Lord. You did."
"Well, I am repeating it because it is so important that men not fall into despair. The temptation to fall into despair will be very powerful and by this the Devil will snatch many away in his grip.
"You must know, Remnant of Earth, there will be an end to the tragedy and the day will come when all is restored in pristine purity and evil is harnessed. In those times, whatever evil emerges will be from the hearts of men, not demons. And there will be a baptism by fire to cleanse the Earth and the hearts of men. It will never be forgotten by those remaining alive.
"And yet as time goes by, men will forget as they did at the waters of Meribah and again I shall be forced to purify the evil from Earth - this time for good.
"The Destroyer (The planet Nibiru) will not come until you are removed, My Brides. There will be a season of chaos directly after you leave in which nations will conquer nations and Marshall Law will be installed under Sharia principals. All that do not renounce Me will be slain. All that take the Mark of the Beast, they will perish. Know that My Mercy shall know no boundaries for those who call to Me in these times."
I want to say something just aside here. There is a technology now, that if you take that Mark, they can actually affect your thinking. They can deprive you of thoughts about God and cause you to think more logically, and to have scorn and contempt to reject Him, simply by stimulating parts of the brain electronically. They can also instruct you electronically to go into a mad frenzy and to kill whatever's in front of you - to fight and to kill.
There're so many things that can be done now, the technology is way, way, way advanced. And anyone who takes that Mark is going to lose their mind, literally. Their mind is going to be in the hands of the government, and whatever the government wants...well. That's what you'll be doing, because you'll be stimulated in that way.
The other thing is, that it is written in Revelation (in the Bible) that those who take the Mark are going to suffer terribly - pain, like the sting of the scorpion for many months. And they'll want to be dead, they'll look for many ways to die, but they won't be able to. This is written in Revelation.
And for those of you who didn't believe the Rapture was real...well, it WAS real. And the next thing is the Mark - that's real. And that suffering from having the Mark is real, plus you'll never be able to repent and receive the Lord - it'll be the end.
So DON'T TAKE THE MARK!!
Continuing on with His Message: "Rise up, My People and call unto Me, and I will save you. Trust Me, trust Me, even with your heads. What you suffer on Earth will be nothing compared to those with the Mark.
"The beasts you questioned Me about are being bred inside the Earth. They, too, will come forth to wreak havoc at the appropriate time."
( will be continued.....)

Morning and Evening with A.W. Tozer Devotional for October 11
Tozer in the Morning COME AS YOU ARE
Let me say this to any of you who are still trying to add up your human merits-look away in faith to the Lord of abundant mercy! Fixing yourself over and trying to straighten yourself out will never be sufficient-you must come to Jesus as you are! Our Lord told about two men who went up into the temple to pray. One said, "God, here I am-all fixed up. Every hair is in place!" The other said, "Oh God, I just crawled in off Skid Row. Have mercy on me!" God forgave the Skid Row bum, but sent the other man away, hardened and unrepentant and unforgiven. We come to Him just as we are but in humble repentance. When the human spirit comes to God knowing that anything it receives will be out of God's mercy, then repentance has done its proper work! God promises to forgive and forget and to take that man into His heart and teach him that all of God's kindnesses are due to His mercy. What more can a sinner ask?
Tozer in the Evening Man - The Dwelling Place of God - Dwelling Place of God
DEEP INSIDE EVERY MAN there is a private sanctum where dwells the mysterious essence of his being. This far-in reality is that in the man which is what it is of itself without reference to any other part of the man's complex nature. It is the man's "I Am," a gift from the I AM who created him.
The I AM which is God is underived and selfexistent; the "I Am" which is man is derived from God and dependent every moment upon His creative fiat for its continued existence. One is the Creator, high over all, ancient of days, dwelling in light unapproachable. The other is a creature and, though privileged beyond all others, is still but a creature, a pensioner on God's bounty and a suppliant before His throne.
The deep-in human entity of which we speak is called in the Scriptures the spirit of man. "For what man knoweth the things of man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God" (1 Corinthians 2:11) . As God's self-knowledge lies in the eternal Spirit, so man's selfknowledge is by his own spirit, and his knowledge of God is by the direct impression of the Spirit of God upon the spirit of man.
The importance of all this cannot be overestimated as we think and study and pray. It reveals the essential spirituality of mankind. It denies that man is a creature having a spirit and declares that he is a spirit having a body. That which makes him a human being is not his body but his spirit, in which the image of God originally lay.
One of the most liberating declarations in the New Testament is this: "The true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23,24) . Here the nature of worship is shown to be wholly spiritual. True religion is removed from diet and days, from garments and ceremonies, and placed where it belongs-in the union of the spirit of man with the Spirit of God.
From man's standpoint the most tragic loss suffered in the Fall was the vacating of this inner sanctum by the Spirit of God. At the far-in hidden center of man's being is a bush fitted to be the dwelling place of the Triune God. There God planned to rest and glow with moral and spiritual fire. Man by his sin forfeited this indescribably wonderful privilege and must now dwell there alone. For so intimately private is the place that no creature can intrude; no one can enter but Christ; and He will enter only by the invitation of faith. "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20).
By the mysterious operation of the Spirit in the new birth, that which is called by Peter "the divine nature" enters the deep-in core of the believer's heart and establishes residence there. "If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his," for "the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God" (Romans 8:9,16). Such a one is a true Christian, and only such. Baptism, confirmation, the receiving of the sacraments, church membership-these mean nothing unless the supreme act of God in regeneration also takes place. Religious externals may have a meaning for the God-inhabited soul; for any others they are not only useless but may actually become snares, deceiving them into a false and perilous sense of security.
"Keep thy heart with all diligence" is more than a wise saying; it is a solemn charge laid upon us by the One who cares most about us. To it we should give the most careful heed lest at any time we should let it slip.

“For every wrongdoer hates the Light, and does not come to the Light [but shrinks from it] for fear that his [sinful, worthless] activities will be exposed and condemned. But whoever practices truth [and does what is right—morally, ethically, spiritually] comes to the Light, so that his works may be plainly shown to be what they are—accomplished in YAH [divinely prompted, done with YAH’S help, in dependence on Him].””

God.
Unseen, unknown, and omniscient.
The man to watch over those who sleep, protective like a father to whom he calls his children. Merciful yet spiteful, are these in which our fathers are supposed to be? Is this the reason for our patriarchy? Fathers protect, they love and guide, they are kind but are unafraid to punish us with a stern hand, and we seek for their affections even if their presence is nothing more than a mere ghost.
God can be cruel, but those who call Ithemselves his children can be worse. How good is God if his children hate with all they have and kill with fury? How can God be so lovely if kingdoms and empires have fallen due to his name? When the chains rattle and they call upon a God who has abandoned them or when a child screams for mercy, why is God never there? Am I spiteful? Yes, but I am also curious. Why do people love God so dearly? Why kill in his name or fight for it when he preaches love and kindness?I agree that some should not be shown an ounce of kindness. The ones who prey on the vulnerable, the ones who take the lives and innocence of others with pure glee instead of shame. Those are vile, yet those are not the ones that I speak of. I speak of the children who go against the belief because they chose another, beaten for it till their blues bleed into the red roses that dig its thorns into tender hands. The adults who hide away at night and are scared of the day for if someone may strike them in God's name. The people who cry for mercy but are struck down because they are not the same. I speak of the people, because why are they any different than us? So what if their hands are dirty of dirt and grime? What if they whisper of Allah instead? What if their tongue whispers words foreign to us? Why should we turn our backs away from them for the sake of God when they are as human as us. Where are we when God is gone? Instead of washing the other's hands, we are taught to stare with scorn. Instead of leaving their belief alone, we tarnish it with lies and mock. Instead of listening to the beauty of what's spoken to us, we rip at it till nothing is left of it.Why do we depend so deeply on God? Where is the community built under the shining moon and bright laughter?
Just a random blah, might expand.

Acts 4:34b-35, “For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.” That would be one way to live out this principle in Micah 6:8, He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Beyond just our little congregation I wonder what it would it look like, and I pray for it to happen that all the Christians who live in Lake City would love each other in these radical ways without paying attention to which denomination they belong to because they recognize that there is really only one Church in town, the body of Christ, of which all true believers are members. And I regularly pray for the other congregations because we are all bound together in Christ for the common purpose we share, to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. That’s a big job. It is more than any of us could do as individuals. I think our food pantry ministry is a good example of what I am talking about. It is a practical ministry. We give food to anyone who needs it. And it is not just our ministry. Our crew of volunteers attend several different churches in town or no church at all. But they all have big loving hearts that enjoy serving with compassion. And we are building bridges, establishing relationships to earn the right to share the gospel in thoughtful and considerate ways. As for me, I am an ambassador for Christ. I am assigned to work in the USA as a law-abiding citizen of this nation and as a representative of the Kingdom of God. My life is really governed by the interests of my king. And I believe that is the job description of every born-again believer in the world. All believers are ambassadors for Christ. Ambassadors are assigned to all the nations. Some of them have really tough assignments where they are persecuted for their faith. Here in America, we really have it easy. We can thank God for that, but it also makes us responsible to be more sacrificial with our possessions. The collective work of all the ambassadors is to establish colonies that are loyal to the one true king, small outposts of the God’s Kingdom, on earth as it is in heaven. But it’s not about an empire like the kingdoms of this world. If Jesus wanted a Christian nation, he would have established one, but he didn’t. He established the church. Down through history it can be seen, that whenever Christians have tried to build a Christian nation, or empire, using political power the way the world does, it has always ended in catastrophe. We are called to be the church, not build an empire. It ought to look different than how people live who don’t know Jesus. We proclaim the gospel, that true freedom is only found through faith in Christ. He is the truth that sets us free. So, as we celebrate our Independence from England and our freedoms, in the USA, I am reminded of my dependence on Christ and the freedom He has granted that applies in every nation. In Him: -I have been justified and am free from the penalty of sin. -I am being sanctified, being freed from the power of sin. -I will be glorified and freed from the very presence of sin. The gospel has the power to change the way we live so that unbelievers sit up and take notice and want to get in on it. A prayer: Help us Lord to live all together in such a loving community that is open and inviting, that lives by your truth and proclaims your gospel. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Summertime: A Time of Creation and Rest!
--------------------------------------------------------------------
in the new light
of each day's questions.
I am never prepared
Today, again, I have nothing
to offer but a handful
of old prayers, worn down
by the relentless abasion
of doubt and a fragment
of dream, that plays on in my head
only half-remembered. Still,
the doves coo and circle
through the pines
as they do when I pass
each morning. Their
sorrow is so nearly human, it rings
sweet with regret. By dusk,
the trees will bow down, and I too, will
make my appeal will
find again your mercy,
your solace.
(Elizabeth Drescher)
(How will we embrace Wisdom's life and love these days?
-------------------------------------------------
After Pentecost, we enter a season with no common focus called "Ordinary Time!" These weeks hold both the slower pace and peaceful quality of summer months and the quicker pace and flurry of activity in early fall.
These are the "ordinary" days in which we live out our daily lives.
It is time we settle into the growing season, nourishing the seeds planted in the Spring and putting down roots in our lives.
This is my 30th season of "Ordinary Time" in San Francisco and the words of Drescher I hear loud and clear in the dusk of my ministry::
By dusk,
the trees will bow down, and I too, will
make my appeal will
find again your mercy,
your solace.
What I have learned in these 30 years is that like the Apostle Peter, I am simply weak, and a sinner dependent on the mercy of God every day.
Pope Francis sums up the core of ministry, and of our daily lives in these words:
"What a good teacher our Lord is! The prophetic gesture of Jesus points to the prophetic Church that, washed of her sin, is unafraid to go out to serve a wounded humanity. Peter experienced in his flesh the wound of sin, but also of his own limitations and weaknesses. Yet he learned from Jesus that his wounds could be a path of resurrection. To know both Peter disheartened
and Peter transfigured is an invitation to pass from being a Church of the unhappy and disheartened that serves all those people who are unhappy and disheartened in our midst. A Church capable of serving her Lord in those who are hungry, imprisoned, thirsting, homeless, naked and informed. .(Mt. 25:35. A service that has nothing to do with a welfare ministry or an attitude of paternalism but rather with the CONVERSION OF THE HEARTS. The problem is not feeding the poor or clothing the naked or visiting the sick, but rather RECOGNIZING THAT THE POOR, THE NAKED, PRISONERS AND THE HOMELESS HAVE THE DIGNITY TO SIT AT OUR TABLE, TO FEEL "AT HOME" AMONG US, TO FEEL PART OF A FAMILY. This is the sign that the Kingdom of Heaven is in our midst. This is the sign of a Church wounded by sin, shown mercy by the Lord, and made prophetic by his call."
The greatest gift God has given me in these years is to lean on the mercy of God. All around us, the "throw-away" culture has no mercy; all values are relative to the logic of technology. It is easy for us to trust in power and law, rather than in the power of God's mercy.
In all these years, God's mercy has been sustaining, leading me through life's difficulties.
I invite each of you to stand in the shoes of mercy and show mercy to others, knowing that you experience mercy in the hands of God. I "try" to invite everyone to have mercy knowing that by:
By dusk,
the trees will bow down, and I too, will
make my appeal, will
find again your mercy,
your solace!

31 Birthday Wishes
As I prepare to embark upon my 31st birthday I wanted to take the time to be especially intimate with myself. I am so proud of how far I am come and I look forward to all the places I still have yet to go. This is the last moments of my 30th years of life and I can say I truly spent my 30th year being selfish in the way that I have always deserved. I plan to keep this up. As I enter 31 I look forward to my future as a single woman. Alone if you will. There was a time when the word “alone” was hurtful to me because I once believed that my solitude was a direct reflection of myself. I could have never been more wrong. Solitude is a beauteous thing that is vital to a happy and successful life. I am alone but I am not lonely in the slightest. After everything that happened once I began to speak as an adult and put childish things away I was unsure how to navigate life as an adult. I didn’t know what life would or could look like for me specifically. And by the grace of God I have found My Way. I trust in my ability to be a lone individual who is capable of getting things done all by myself for myself. It’s a refreshingly intoxicating feeling to know that you hold the power to see your dreams come true in real time. God has wiled it so. My journey has taught me that I can and should rely on myself because with God I can do all things through the strength that he gives me. It is my testimony that I have made it out and I am at peace with everything. My heart and mind are clear and I hold no ill will towards anyone. I look forward to 31 with love, happiness, faith and joy for all to come. I Thank the Lord for allowing me to see another day where there is another opportunity for me to grow into the best version of myself. I aspire to continue on this journey of truly loving myself so that I may be a better lover to myself as well as others. I pray that the Lord allows me to continue to navigate my life with him at the head and peace in my heart. I look forward to all the new relationships and friendship that are to come. I pray for all I used to know and all I still do know and pray that you have mercy on our souls and keep us safe if your arms Lord God. Thank you for allowing me to experience this beautiful moment as I type these words to myself now. I remember there was a time when all I wanted was to change be different and feel different. I love myself just as I am, past and present. I release myself from people, places, spaces, mindset, behaviors etc. that no longer serve me and I welcome all the new and wonderful possibilities that are to come. This year is even more personal for me and I am so excited to be able to celebrate myself and relax. I will be spending my 31st birthday out of the country by myself and I look forward to this trip. It’s a small step into the direction of independent that I look forward to. I do still desire to experience healthy romantic love and make new friends and I trust that God will continue to supply all my needs, wants and every desire. “Maybe right now, your journey isn’t about love. Maybe right now, your journey is about being alone. Maybe this is the season you are being challenged- to learn how to wake up in the middle of the bed to finally find hope in the vacancy, to finally find hope in the quiet, hope in the way you stretch into your life and give yourself permission to take up space within it. Maybe right now, you are being shown- that you can take care of yourself, that you can depend on the person you have become, that you can be your own home no matter what comes your way. I write this letter to you merely days before your birthday to let you know that I am always with you Ebony. I am your home and you are mine. I stand with you and support you. I love you with all my heart and will do right by you at every step for as long as I shall live. Happy Birthday my dear sweet Ebony. It is with love, admiration and grace that I wish you all the best and more. I will love you until forever ends, until then, later baby.
