A President’s Orchid

This orchid hybrid was named after the President and First Lady of the United States of America when they visited in 2013 in his then capacity as the vice president. The image was taken with the Fujifilm X-T2 that gave me quite pleasant colours except that the greens had need to be tamed a bit in post.

This orchid was named after President Joe Biden and his wife when they visited in his then capacity as Vice President back in 2013.

With more than a hundred of such VIP orchids in a small garden, the original image had naturally a rather busy background. So the backdrop was 'burned' and darkened in post for this image.
