Breaking my radio silence barely before the year end! Here's my FTH23 artwork for @chriscalledmesweetie based on their adorable fic, The Defenestration of Rosie Watson-Holmes (do check it out if you haven't read it! You're in for a sweet treat <3)

Why exactly is our little bumblebee being held out a window? (And by our hopefully not-too-menacing consulting detective?) Why is Mrs. Hudson smiling while looking on? No injured infants or volatile geniuses in this fluffy domestic fic!

(An earlier version did mistakenly use 221b wallpaper, which would have made for a very different kind of genre...)

Fandom Trumps Hate 2024: All BBC Sherlock Creators!

BROWSING PERIOD FOR FTH 2024 IS NOW OPEN!!!

The Way Home by Calais Reno

It's Christmas Eve, and Sherlock's landlord has evicted him due to a little misunderstanding about a very small explosion that really only burned the curtains. Mrs Hudson isn't willing to let him move into 221B until after the holiday. He's left with only one alternative: go home. Spend Christmas with his family. On the train, he meets someone who might just be having an even worse holiday.

Fandom Trumps Hate 2023

(Look who’s dipping their toes into fandom activities again? Two words, not dead.)

I’m participating in my first ever FTH @fandomtrumpshate this year! After observing from afar and getting gentle encouragement/influence from lovely folks in the fandom (@totallysilvergirl​, @helloliriels​, @khorazir​, @stephdrawsjohnlock​ -- please check out what they’re offering as well!!) I thought I’d join in this wonderful community charity event!

More details and link to bid now until March 5 here, but in short I’m offering one procreate drawing for BBC Sherlock/Granada Sherlock starting at a $15 donation to the non-profit of your choice.

List of joys, last week:

-was on vacation last week, finally got enough rest and time for my hobbies

-could do some weeding, planting and other work in my garden

-found that the perennials which I had to replace last year due to the destruction caused by the slug invasion have started to grow the first leaves

-there are 6 big red tulips I can see out of the kitchen that survived the digging bunnies (they eat the bulbs) because the are too close to the house

-I wrote a lot on my fanfic

-after several delays a crowdfunded comic book I'd ordered arrived

-since my child is currently away I have to care for the aquarium fish and I really love to watch when they get into the feeding frenzy
