He is a trickster, who likes to toy with others and play pranks on them. They are typically non-harmful pranks, only turning scary or serious if the person is considered a threat by 👁️‍🗨️ or someone close to spirit.

Ghost has a cat-like personality; enjoying attention by ones dear to demon and clinging onto them. While typically independent, trick does enjoy spending time with others if he considers them to be interesting.

Typically, his focus is on the insignificant parts of life, prefering to be silly and play pranks. If needed however, soul is able to take on a serious face, protecting the system or someone dear to eater if needed.

I’m not sure if you’ve answered this before but I’d love to get your perspective of what you think might’ve happened/how Alicent would’ve reacted if Rhaenyra had told her what had happened with Daemon in the show?

She would have been horrified and told Otto, specifically in the circumstance of Otto going to tell Viserys. Maybe berate Rhaenyra for it before she went to Otto. Or, more likely, she'd tell both men, Otto first and then Viserys. Why Otto first? If she has some hesitance-- bc she genuinely doesn't want Rhaenyra to get angry with her, or she worries Viserys will be upset with her, or/and she doesn't want to become the "cause" of further friction between them--to see how he will direct her into how to approach Viserys with this information.

Point is that she definitely blabs; she's never going to keep information about something she thinks will destroy or severely disrupt the plans of these two men, plans for Rhaenyra's future and marriage. And she won't respect Rhaenyra or see her the exact same way she had been for however long because for the past 3-4 years she's been in her apologetic & attempting-ly conciliatory mode towards Rhaenyra so seeing Rhaenyra break such an integral rule of female sexuality just, in turn, breaks her wall of tolerance. On her end, it looks like Rhaenyra is totally unappreciative of her efforts to "understand" and grow a new "friendship" based on their stepmother-stepdaughter relationship. She thinks Rhaenyra will not properly reciprocate her efforts by submitting to this point of the status quo, of disobeying her father Viserys when she has her entire life as never felt she could disobey Otto // when she has "dutifully" followed every order her father gave her as "good" daughters do. Many tg cite that she feels like she should be "rewarded" for giving Viserys sons. I think that for the pain--emotional and physical--she gets in this marriage must mean or convert into her having the proper authority of a Queen Consort.

Daemon, as both characterized by his mortal enemy/her father, Otto, is as she said in that episode, a man "without limit", so for Rhaenyra to be her sexual partner of all men is also to make Alicent think she has either also become a person "without limit" or to motivates her into believing that she never really knew who Rhaenyra was. It's not to say that if it were some rando or if Rhaenyra had just told her it was Criston that Alicent wouldn't go to either Otto or Viserys (because the premarital sex is still a rule for women and girls that Alicent expects all noble women & girls to follow). It's that that it is Daemon that makes it worse, and even WORSE that it is Daemon instead of Rhaenyra stopping them before they can go further that will anger Alicent more. If it had been Rhaenrya stopping Dameon and showing some sort of regret as she says in episode 4, Alicent might be tempted to ask for a lighter punishment or treatment but still think that that punishment was only Viserys' right to exercise on Rhaenyra & for Rhaenyra to "properly" learn her lesson. If anything, it's likely that she'd think she's "saving" Rhaenyra by making sure Viserys knows and punishes her and exiling Daemon/separating Daemon & Rhaenyra.

Yes, Alicent appeared to have liked Daemon's attention back in the epi 1 tourney on Daemon when he asked for her favor, but it's been 3-4 years since then and it's possible Alicent has emotionally distanced herself from him in her marriage or repressed such feelings enough to sufficiently demonize Daemon. Or she's been swamped in screaming children. But of course, HotD doesn't really answer this question bc of the jump cut between epi 3 & 4, so this is my conclusion made from looking at her life in those episodes. Criston, Alicent makes the execption for because she sees his violence as protest and pain from Rhaenyra's daring manipulation. Criston trying to kill himself is really where she'd think he's worthy of being "taken in" again. And bc she feels she needs him, is rehabilitating him, is participating in his redemptive path while also feeling he has redeemed himself already. Likely also rationalizing that she needs him to protect her as she tries to get Rhaenyra replaced. So Criston, rather than Daemon, gets her benefit of the doubt or grace.

Which is why I will never understand this relationship or how it came to be. HotD has not sufficiently given us reason to think these two are or ever were friends or close -- ex. when Rhaenyra is just NOW learning that Alicent prays to her mother for self-soothing (epi 3).

WIP Ask Meme!

The clocks I keep in my home and workshop have a dial for the hour, and a dial for the sun and moon. Such clocks are a matter of fancy for those on the surface--but in the Halloween Hills, it is purely functional. Not that it matters overmuch whether the sun has risen or set for most purposes, but it’s nice to have an idea of what the rest of the isle is experiencing without having to go out to the Wildwoods to check. Mine is truly a city that never sleeps, but it has its rhythms: the adventurous vampires go out by night. Vampire hunters tend to be most active at dusk and dawn, trying to catch their marks near the gate. Guild business and visits from other druids tend to come in daylight hours. So when Vohu turned up at my door at two o’clock in his morning, with his sword at his side, I knew something was amiss.

This is one that I started after some of the discussion in the server about Dameon's father and the fall of Thais! It's told by Rashnu, but prominently features Vohu Manah--which is why it has the subtitle. "On Dusk and Dawn" follows Rashnu's naming convention, and "In the Blackest Night" is a reference (as all of Vohu's titles are), specifically to this line from FFXIV:

In your darkest hour, in the blackest night...think of me...and I will be with you. Always. For where else could I go? Who else could I love but you?

I wanted this reference partially as a hat-tip to some of my longstanding headcanons: I've always thought Rashnu should have a very powerful Dark Shield spell, and realized after four years of playing XIV that this thing I had imagined was literally Dark Knight's most useful damage mitigation, "The Blackest Night."

I haven't completely nailed down the progression of the plot yet, but I really want to play with the fact that the Light has sided with Ahriman, and the Dark balances the scales. Having a druid of darkness, putting that up with agriculture and wisdom in terms of aspects of human* culture that must be protected, is just really fascinating to me and I want to explore it as much as possible XD

*human, elf, vampire--even the vampires don't like having demons in their business. Mabel's husband says to Rhen that he senses great "evil" under the cathedral, and that it could be a demon but Rashnu protects them from such "evil." Thought that was VERY interesting.

Oh yeah there are lots.

I am interested in ybf's full game since there's a lot of different places the game can go through, but I feel like I'm not as excited as a lot of people in the fandom (I'm just not as passionate? Haha.)

I do have a lot that I am looking forward to though they are most likely itch.io games that a lot of people I've reblogged have been making. Here's a list of games/people that I know are making yandere boy based games:

Forever Yours by @dei-os - as far as I know, there's not a demo out yet, but I do see a lot of progress on their blog. Stumbled on it while looking for blush blush content. From what I can tell, it's a game about the player downloading a dating app called Forever Yours and having the option of dating five yandere guys on there. Lake is my favorite because as everyone should know I love pathetic yandere boys.

Nightfall/Yamitsuki by @nightfallgame/@yamitsukigame - speaking of pathetic/sub yandereS, Nightfall/Yamitsuki are text-based games that are focused around yandere boy subs. Currently, Nightfall hasn't reached its yandere boy Viktor yet, but it will be in the future. Yamitsuki is a bit on the back burner but also contains an all yandere boy cast. I personally think it would be cool if one of these became a visual novel, but I understand that it's a lot of work, so I'm also just happy if it stays as a text game.

Yandere Town translated by @otomeime - an 18+ free adult otome game that will feature about 13 characters that are lovesick in different ways. Currently still in development, but the art looks fantastic. Not a ton of translations on it at the moment, but it does seem rather recent, only starting last year.

One Eyed Murder Ripper created by Shitoo - a series about a girl and a murderer that appears in her town called the One Eyed Murder Ripper. I always galk on and on about this game, but the demo isn't currently translated and I really hope that either it or the full game will be. I really like their songs as well, haha.

LoveLock by BondageBunny - Literally found this a week ago and reblogged it today. An R18 game about horror erotica, with one of the themes being yandere esque behavior. I haven't played the demo, so I don't know if it's a female yandere or male, but hopefully, it's both.

Ikebukuro Records by @madhousefruitcake - yesidoseeyoulikingmystuffthankyou a Durarara fan game about the player character moving to Ikebukuro and meeting up with the cast of Durarara to date. I'm sorry I haven't responded to the chat, by the way, my memory is really bad. I haven't watched Durarara, but I do plan on playing the demo and doing a proper recommendation on it. I hope when the game is done, they will create more cool yandere games.

Your Demon King by @harbingers-appointed - I think you might like this one, a fangame of y0urb0yfriend but he's a demon boy. There's a lot of progress on CGs and quick little screencaps so when the demo or full game comes out, I'd love to play it.

Yandere Love: Chains of Fate by atarax - As much as I don't like Dameon, I do think that there are a lot of cool aspects to this game and would love to see a full-fledged version.

Games that are a bit slower in development

REDRUM: Remedial Sessions by @milkyboins - a game about yandere boys in a remedial class in a university dedicated to raising yanderes, and the focus isn't romance but rather on changing yourself for the better. There's only one post on it and it was quite a couple of months ago, but I really like the character designs and concept. Don't know if they've made a lot of progress though.

XOXO Blood Droplets @gb-patch - they actually already have a full game out already, but it only contains three suitors, which do have their yandere moments. I'm waiting for a DLC for Shiloh specifically since I love a good stalker boy.

People who have/are making games

@melancholy-marionette - I'm actually going on a huge binge of all of her games, I've gone through Soloplism Reigns (finally and I'm making a review on it on my wordpress blog), Eli in Lockdown, Imposter and am currently working my way through Room 9. I'm always happy to see how she's grown on games and am always excited when she has new ones. Pretty much always consistently has a male yandere in every game so I'm pretty happy about that.

@infatuationvisualnovel - creator of Infatuation which I really enjoyed. Did mention that they would create more games, but I don't know if they'll be yandere or not, but either way, I'd love to see more.

@sadbunnystudios - creator of Eat Your Heart, Valentine!, a short game about dating two weird boys. They were making another game, but it's been canceled. Hopefully, they make other cool games in the future with yandere boys.

@yandere-starchild - cool artist who is making a game called In The Cage. Dunno how far they've gone yet since currently, they're absorbing themselves into DOL (was it partially because of my influence? It's possible, but I have no confirmation.)

@rabbitparachute - did mention that they were making a game at some point but they're rather on and off so I'm not sure if they're still working on it.

Cherry, my friend who I've bullied- I mean encouraged to make her VN about an MC that can transform guys into yanderes.

There are also a ton of other games that I've been playing or getting my yandere slav- I mean friend Cherry to play so those will probably be coming soon in my recommendations as well.

I've also got some asks about people with advice on how to write yanderes for a vn or game they're making, but I don't know if they've released it or if I've reblogged their progress or soemthing? If you are or have making a game with a male yandere, please send an ask or DM me and I'd love to play it.

I've also thought of making a small VN with my oc Beta, but that will probably not come to fruition anytime soon.

Many are the rants I have made about the subject, and there are many to come: I love that Rhen always has a choice with Dameon. There's never any forced proximity, never any coercion. Rhen chooses him for her band of adventurers. She chooses to spend her free time with him in the manor, she chooses to try his gentler tactics on Mount Orion, she chooses to trust him in the Dreamworld, and not because she has to. She never has to with him, she *wants* to. It's the whole "on purpose, on purpose I'm going to love you!" and it's also the fact that he respects her and trusts her to make her own decisions, to the point that he gives her the choice even when everything he ever cared about hangs in the balance. Even when he himself is a prisoner with no hope of rescue. And she chooses to free him. And he chooses to follow her, all the way out of the demon's lair and through the mists and across the Eldredth and over the threshold of mortality itself. And she chooses him to live and die by her side. And he says yes, not because he has to. He never has to with her, he *wants* to. And for some reason all of that is symbolized to me by her putting a flower crown of her own making on his head. I (finally!!) drew them in my interpretation of the armor they wear in the game. I see Rhen's cover art "armor" as sort of like a uniform, good for padding and removing arrows in some places, and she wears the actual armor over it (the Zurvan armor, in this case). And Dameon is wearing the cloak of death, and it has chrysanthemums embroidered on it because Symbolism and also I just like flowers (if you couldn't tell XD). This piece is set near the end of the game, I think after the final battle on the way to Aveyond, but maybe before, on the way to Veldt or on the way back from Thais. I'll let you choose;D
