most people were very aware of mr shinazugawa's bias towards you.

no, more like a crush of sorts. you're a teacher, a fellow colleague of his, and your classroom just so happened to be next to where his maths lessons are held. coincidentally, your room is the only classroom in the school that doesn't have a printer, so you often make trips to his, because his is the closest.

teaching-wise, you're a lot more gentle on your students, so little to no noise was heard except for the shouting coming through the thin shared wall. somehow, mr shinazugawa always manages to get troublemakers to teach, undoubtedly growing more and more irritated and stressed with each day that passes. you don't blame him, obviously, since the only way to get them to behave seemed to be yelling at them.

really, the only time they saw a little bit of light was when an angel liked you walked in, just emitting that addicting aura everywhere you go, a soothing effect of sorts.

his lesson had just come to an end, the kids quickly packing up their things and running out, as per usual. he let out a frustrated sigh in a failed attempt to calm down, running a hand through his messy white hair from all the times he pulled and tugged at it in a silent fit of rage.

just another rowdy and loud set of students coming within the next few minutes. was he ready? not at all. he needs a break, and a long one, yet the school year just started.

suddenly, a very familiar figure moves into the doorway of his classroom, catching his eye. that relaxed, tender gaze that met his fiery ones. he pauses, quickly straightening himself out. he tries to school his facial expression to look more neutral, hoping that would be enough. the last thing he wanted to do was be rude to you.

"need something?" he asks you, his voice coming out a lot more harsh than he intended. in reality, the sight of you had made him a little flustered. a little too flustered. quickly, he glances away from you and crosses his arms over his chest in an effort to look nonchalant.

"just wanted to pop in here before your next class starts..." you slowly approach him, but make sure to keep a professional distance. "are you planning on having a test today, by any chance?"

he slightly raises an eyebrow at you, a little surprised. though the two of you were in different departments, he was used to questions about assignments and whatnot, but not about possible upcoming tests. "yes," he says, "i am. why're you asking?"

for a beat, your expression drops to worry, but you smile once again. "just a bit wary of coming in while the kids are trying to focus. i have some things to print later on, so..."

he lets out a quiet hum of acknowledgment at your reasoning. in all honesty, he never really minded it when you visited to use the printer, even if the kids got a little distracted or chatty. he didn't blame them at all, you were an easy topic to talk about when you were and weren't around.

"you don't really need to ask," he says bluntly. "the kids'll get distracted either way." he uncrosses his arms and lets them fall to his sides, taking a small step toward you. "you're free to come in when you want. printer's always here, don't gotta ask me so much."

you appear to be taken aback. "are you sure?"

he scoffs, rolling his eyes. "yeah. 'course i'm sure." he says, gesturing a hand toward the printer. "nobody needs you going around the entire school to just print something. that takes up extra time you could use to be with the rest of your class."

he doesn't want to admit it out loud, but he also likes having you in close proximity. it provides a nice distraction on not-so-good days like these; which was every day. "saves your feet some rest too. besides, it's not like the kids are doing anything other than talking their asses off until class starts anyway." he says with a shrug. oh, was he talking too much? did he sound too casual?

you stare at him, and your permanent smile widens more, something he hasn't seen before. you actually looked happy— no, relieved. only now has he realised that the difference in your expressions could be so different. "thank you, shinaguzawa."

"it's no problem, miss." he offers the best smile he can himself, pretty crooked, but he's sure you can see it. with a little bow, you turn on your heel and exit the classroom, your hand grazing the doorframe for a moment. his eyes remain fixed to where you just were.

Your mission had been a success, the demon had his head taken, the demon slayer corps would maintain the area under observation for a time, the village could sleep peacefully again, and you could return to the butterfly mansion. Only if your body had survived the rough attacks of the demon, you should be perfectly fine.

Aoi’s complaints in your ears about your usual careless behavior with yourself to put others first ringed in your ears as she cared your gashes, and once she finished you felt a little sad since she was right and now you have your body nearly covered in bandages and bruises, therefore in need of watchfulness from the helpers at butterfly mansion.

Some days passed, and the fatigue began to fade to a nice health feeling on your body. After eating and switching the bandages you were ready to rest and get some sleep since the salve was calming not only your bruises but your head, comforting and light, soft pillow under your head to lay with clean white sheets up on your body to keep your temperature, quiet sounds of leaves blowing within the wind broken by the heavy bang of the door and the shout calling out your name interrupted your rest.

The thunder hashira Zenitsu dashed to your bed. You could already see the tears falling from his eyes when he stepped into the room. 

“I’M SO SORRY, I SHOULD'VE COME HERE SOONER, BUT THE TRAINING WAS A MESS THESE DAY AND I ALSO MISSED YOUR ARRIVAL FROM THE MISSION. HAVE YOU DONE WELL? I KNOW YOU DID SINCE YOU’RE HERE NOW, BUT YOU ARE SO HURT I’M ANGRY JUST TO IMAGINE THAT BASTARD OF A DEMON HURTING YOU…” He yelled a paragraph of words in caps lock that made your head crammed like a glass overfilled with water, he only stopped after Aoi slapped his head enraged, yearning a squeak out of him, making you smile a little by the scene in front of you.

“Zenitsu I’m still recovering. Calm down, I'll be fine. I’m taking the best care here” you said dearly. Zenitsu massaged his head where it still hurts before raising his head to look at you, some tears still falling from his eyes, but this time you figured it was from the pain. You couldn’t be mad at him, all these years and he doesn’t change this outstanding way that you grew to adore, that he truly showed when he cared about the person, and you knew he couldn’t bear to have you hurt or lose you. Everytime you came back from a mission he came to see you and cried after seeing you hurt or even completely healthy, vowing to you that he will become stronger to protect you and the people who needed it. But how could the thunder hashira become stronger than his classification confirmed?

After calming down, Zenitsu wiped his tears and sat on the edge of the mattress by your side. “I was afraid that something happened to you. Kanao said you were hurt and needed some weeks to recover. I panicked a little, and that affected the training I was instructing.” You stopped his words and thoughts with a simple hand on his face, the blonde melted into your bandaged hand, tilting his head to kiss your hand, soft lips planting wet kisses down your arm on top of your bandages, carefully taking his time there in a quiet whisper for them to cure, passing to your shoulder and reaching your face. Your arm was freed and you laced on the back of his neck pulling him closer to you, Zenitsu kissed your lips softly, one time, two times, past this he got lost in the feeling of you sweet lips and desperately kissed you more. Passing his left arm on top of yours he held your face to deepen the kiss but ever so lightly fearing hurting you, his tongue poking out to ask for your permission to pass through before retracting as he shifted away from your lips. 

The blonde breathed deeply as if to maintain his posture, his nose brushed along yours, maintaining an eskimo kiss, opening your eyes to find his amber eyes hazed in love. 

“I’ll be stronger, I’ll never let anyone hurt you anymore.”

You just smiled at him. You could never change his mind.

This is not a problem that begins or ends with Netanyahu. The genocide of the Palestinians was quite literally baked into the foundation of Israel. There are decades of ethnic cleansing and massacres that Netanyahu had no part in whatsoever

And to cite these protests where there is quite literally video evidence of people who dared to acknowledge the fact that the Palestinians were human beings that also deserved the same human rights you were protesting for for yourselves and proceeded to be brutalized by the other protesters for it as some kind of proof that this genocide is all the government's fault actually, is just like do you really think I'm so stupid that I can't see right through you?

💿 release date: july 31st, 2023 physical design: the album was packaged in a translucent neon-green jewel case, inspired by early 2000s tech aesthetics, complete with a holographic CD surface. the booklet includes polaroid style photos of the members with handwritten messages. a bonus postcard replicates a ticket to the fictional “UTOPIA” city.

collector’s Item: a cassette tape version was released with a mini lyric booklet styled like a teen diary, complete with doodles and stickers designed by the members.

💿 release date: december 10th, 2023 concept: a magical 80s winter city theme, blending neon lights, snowy streets, and vintage holiday cheer.

physical design: packaged like a retro vhs tape, the album came in a glossy midnight-blue case with neon-colored snowflake designs. the cd mimics a 1980s laserdisc, with a reflective rainbow surface. the photobook features the members dressed in cozy yet glamorous winter outfits, styled with bold colors and metallic accessories.

collector’s Item: fans who pre ordered received a miniature snow globe featuring a tiny utopia cityscape. the album also included scratch off cards, where lucky fans could win signed polaroids.

💿 release date: july 1st, 2024 concept: a nostalgic summer with playful, bold visuals and beachy vibes.

physical design: packaged like a retro cd-rom game, the album features a metallic cover with lenticular art that shifts between two designs: a tropical sunset and a glowing night scene. the cd resembles a tie dye vinyl record. the booklet is designed like a scrapbook with stickers, pressed flowers and polaroid-style member profiles.

collector’s item: a mini digital camera inspired by early 2000s models was released as part of the deluxe package. It includes preloaded exclusive behind the scenes clips from the group’s promotions.

𓈀 ❀ 4TH MINI ALBUM – UTOPIA CITY II 💿 release date: december 1st, 2024 concept: Inspired by the nostalgic charm of 80s and 90s japanese late night cityscapes, utopia city II blends the cozy allure of winter with neon lit retro aesthetics. the album explores themes of reflection, adventure, and nostalgia while capturing the essence of a urban winter wonderland.

physical design: the album is packaged like a vintage 90s arcade game box. the cover features holographic art that transitions between two visuals, a neon lit city skyline at night with snowflakes softly falling. and a close up of glowing street signs reflecting on icy pavement. the design incorporates bold, electric colors (neon pink, blue, and purple) with a grainy texture reminiscent of retro print advertisements. the cd resembles a frosted glass record with etchings of the group's logo and glowing tracks mimicking neon lights. the photobook styled like a 90s fashion and lifestyle magazine, the photobook is interactive and playful, including full page spreads of the members in cozy winter outfits, shot in retro arcades, bustling urban streets, and snowy rooftops. tear out postcards featuring candid member moments. hidden fold out posters of neon cityscapes of utopia city, fun extras like personality quizzes, member interviews styled like horoscopes, and nostalgic ads inspired by vintage magazines.

collector’s item: you can get one out of these two things as a surprise in the deluxe version of the album, a set of metallic tokens styled after vintage arcade coins straight from utopia city each engraved with a track title from the album. the tokens come in a collectible pouch designed like an old school arcade ticket dispenser or a neon utopia city music box, a miniature diorama of utopia city in a glowing glass dome. when wound up, it plays a snippet of "rewind," and tiny led lights illuminate the city inside, creating a dreamy, nostalgic atmosphere.
