There's so much in this tiny 1 minute moment. The fact that he's playing the first couple notes of "Hey Jude" the song Mary used to sing to him as a lullaby. But he's also slicing into his hand and watching it heal. He's hearing Crowley's voice saying, "Pick a bloody side!"

He's trying to understand his own twisted soul. Does Mary's lullaby still mean something to him? Can he be anything but a monster, considering what he's done, and how he heals?

There are still tiny moments where it feels like Dean's actual, good, good soul is trying so hard to fight through the twisted demonic part.

But obviously, it loses the fight. 😞😞😞

This moment is just so beautiful and SO well acted of course.

Can I also say, on a completely separate note how incredibly hot I find it that Jensen's hands are ACTUALLY callused. All the women in my fics will rejoice!! 🥵🥵🥵😁

I would like his big, callused hand on me now, please!!
