When I said to myself that I am a woman and can never change that it made me cry so uh not doing that again (I was hoping I was maybe faking it so I tried referring to myself with just she/her and saying things like that and I hated it,  but I just wanted to maybe see if I was comfortable with it so I could not go through with telling my mom who has already expressed that same statement of me now and always being a lady and then wouldn’t have to deal with all the craziness of friends leaving me after I someday come out and I’m scared-)

When some close friends referred to me with They/Them it felt weird but not bad? And when a person accidentally called me sir I didn’t want to correct them because it gave me this huge rush of happiness that made me want to do the happy flappy hands?

ANYWAYS! It was literally the last day of pride month and I was out on a beach trip with one of my friends

Which, side note, I never ever EVER get invited anywhere on trips so to be invited on a day trip already made me so damn happy I just akjxjsksnsns

And, as you all know, I'm demiomniromantic aegeosexual (I probably spelled that all kinds of wrong) and very very much closeted. The only people I'm out to irl are other people in the queer community and we all just vibe despite the fact that very few of us are out to anyone else

Anyways, the friend I was on the beach trip with is bi and not out to her mother, who was the one driving us around on said beach trip, and we were walking around the downtown area and there it was! A progress pride flag! Waving in the wind triumphantly! And for whatever reason it made me smile just sosososo much I had to pull out my phone and film the flag waving in the wind because I've literally never seen any sort of pride flag out in public and I nearly wanted to cry

My friend realized what I was doing and made a subtle comment about it, quiet enough to where her mother couldn't hear and I was just so happy

We passed another store as we were walking around that looked like it was selling pride flags and I really wanted to go in and look but we were already running late and there's no way I would've been able to buy one or take one home without someone finding it but just seeing the one up on the store window made me so happy, so if you've read this far, I just wanna say, if you have a pride flag flying outside your house or business, thank you so much for existing because just seeing the flag made me feel seen in a way I literally never be able to describe

I figured it out! I'm demiromantic!! That's why it's so easy for me to fall in love with fictional characters, cuz I get to know them quickly and then I can develop feelings for them! And that would explain why I was confused about my attraction to women, because I've never had a close relationship with a woman that developed into feelings. To be fair, I've never really had a close relationship with women anyway, but that's not the point. So I finally figured myself out! I'm graysexual, demiomniromantic, and genderfluid. It feels good to see myself as I really am, not society's version of me.
