[ During his childhood his father, Angelo, had been a leader of the mafia, which meant his mom would sneak Sylus out to avoid having guards around them 24/7, she would take him to the beach or aquarium a lot which grew his love for sea life (including plants and really anything that lives in water). But when they were caught, which wasn't all the time, they would get beat the mom taking most the hits as she would protect Sylus. Later on Angelo would leave the mafia business and own his own business. His teenager years was the start of his addiction, he didn't realize it much even when he was going through withdrawal he had just pushed it aside and assumed it was other health issues, around this time his father had been drugging the other without him knowing. Around this time his grades weren't doing too great due to feeling sick, and his mother had been in the hospital. Most the time he snuck out to see his best friend, or to go and visit his mom as his father wouldn't let him, and using whatever money he had to pay for her care.

Once he graduated he had gotten into university for marine biology, he still visited his mother in the hospital everyday but he struggled with money, mostly when he was buying drugs on the side. Angelo decided it was a waste of time and wanted to remarry so he pulled the plug killing his wife. Sylus fully broke, losing his best friend who left, and now his mom. He was kicked out of school due to failing grades and been on drugs sense, living on his own in a rundown warehouse. ]

- Has ADHD, has sensory issues, he does have autism but is undiagnosed, anxiety and depression (which is also undiagnosed.) - He used to be in university to be a marine biologist - He remembers the promise him and his best friend had made about staying together forever, he remembers the promise his best friend made about coming back to him.. Due to this he still has hope the other will return - He gets more addicted to the drugs due to seeing hallucinations of his childhood crush - it puts him at ease as it's the only chance he gets to see them - Has a knife (normally hidden away in his shoe or jacket pockets - the knifes hilt is blue while the blade has a design) - Due to his addiction he hops club to club, and cause of this he has a lot of information on certain things (rival mafia weakness maybe) - Being off drugs he has habits of itching his arms and neck a lot, looking around and major headaches - he can be rude due to withdrawal - Tends to threaten people a lot with "yeah, well my lover is a Mafia boss so.....' - Hates being called a lap dog (as he sits on his lovers lap) - He has an older brother and sister that don't anything to help with his drug addiction but they would be worried for him when he's in the mafia

. Sylus' mom by blood, Scarlet and Liam weren't her blood kids. She was closer to Sylus and supported his hobbies and dream - Even winning a goldfish for him at a fair . She always baked cookies in shape of fish for him and his best friend when they were kids, and when the friend left she was always there for her son

Angelo Love

. Was abusive towards Sylus mostly when Marie passed away, blamed him for a lot and wanted his son to be like his other kids to follow in his path . Was partly the reason for Sylus addiction as he would give Sylus heavy dosages . He isn't around in the picture anymore as Sylus fully cut him off, but Sylus still hears from him through his siblings . He used to be a mafia boss before going into strictly business, he cheated on his wife a lot . Loves his other two kids more for following in his footsteps

Scarlet Love

. Helps her father with the business . She does have a husband and kids . Sylus is a little bit closer to her but their relationship is a little rocky still but she did hate to see the other hurt (but turns a blind eye on his addiction)

Liam Love:

. Is the next in line to take over the business . Followed in his fathers foot steps and beats Sylus a lot, killed Sylus' goldfish (after Marie's passing) and was always rude to their "mother" . Was an ass to any of Sylus' friends also . Sylus keeps in contact with him still though due to not wanting to lose every family member, he's also a little terrified to cut contact with Liam

The criminal I was thinking would be maybe a demihuman who fought back against the guards trying to detain them leading to the rumors of them being a monster. Evelyn Elise Wylde - yes her initials are EEW - is a fourteen year old demihuman, and granddaughter of the famous Orokin scientist Doctor Cedric Wylde - though their relationship is one of father and daughter so they refer to each other as such. She identifies as bisexual and her pronouns are she/her.

Evelyn is 5 feet 6 six inches (66 inches) in height and is usually seen wearing cleated snow shoes, jeans, winter snow pants, a long sleeve shirt, a jacket that she's "borrowing" from her girlfriend, @doll-the-zombie-drone, and a magic talisman from her late mother that protects her from harm. She has elven ears, a round face, soft lips, tanned skin, freckles, a button nose, piercing sapphire-blue eyes with slitted pupils, braided shoulder-length silver hair with purple, blue, and light green highlights, fangs, sharp claws for nails, well toned muscles, and an Australian accent. However, her most notable features are her molted green prehensile lizard tail, the tip of which boasts a razor-sharp blade, a pair of bat wings she keeps hidden under her jacket when she's not using them, and - though she'd almost always hiding it - a vivisection scar on her chest. Unless you want to be punched in the face at full force, it would be wise to not touch it.

Depending on who she's talking to, her personality varies wildly. Thanks to her childhood she has trust issues and is slow to warm up to people. Of course, once she does she goes from cold and distant to a lovable goofball cinnamon roll who loves to snuggle. She is also capable of purring and adores physical affection - that being said, don't touch her tail without permission, as it's extremely sensitive. She is surprisingly touch-starved and as a result physical affection has become her love language. She also adores praise, and especially likes being called a "good girl." The one thing that remains constant throughout the two sides of her personality is that she's a massive tomboy and ready for a fight at any time, including when she's asleep. The girl keeps a hatchet under her pillow for Void's sake. She is also autistic - high functioning - and has a hard time telling whether or not someone's being sarcastic, subtly making fun of her, or being genuine. She's also also insecure, has abandonment issues, hates loud noises, and is terrified of driving her loved ones away.

After learning the truth of the Absolute Solver in episode six, Evie has developed a strong phobia of Solver-infected Drones and the AS itself.

Thanks to Evie's great great grandfather, who's name has been stricken from history, she and her entire bloodline are effectively immortal and while they can be killed, they will eventually come back to life. Preventative measures can be taken to slow the self-resurrection process, but it cannot be stopped. The family also has supernatural powers, with Evie specializing in Pyromancy, or fire magic. She also also has a familiar - a phoenix she named Sol. She is very protective of Sol and will deck you without hesitation if you hurt her bird.

In terms of combat, her options are surprisingly varied. Not only does she have the aforementioned fire magic, but she is also incredibly strong, a black belt in jujitsu, carries multiple knives on her person at all times, and has a substantial collection of weapons that she can pull from and summon into her hands at will. She is also one of exactly three people who wields the Delta Solver - a variant of the Absolute Solver created by her grandfather. The Delta Solver is much less powerful than the AS, but more versatile, not sentient, lacks the biological aspect, and can only be given to others by an Admin.

As an added bonus she is capable of turning into a Disassembly Drone with blue lights instead of yellow, though she usually only uses this form to fluster her girlfriend.

Felt like I needed to visualise Zorro's second form since he's a kitsune demihuman. He only has eight tails and not the full nine, but for a demihuman and demigod that's still pretty impressive.

I did some traditional artwork. The first time in a while and digitally coloured for the first time too.

Tenchō takes place millions of years after we humans today went extinct. Mother Earth took it upon herself to repopulate the Earth with many different types of people, the Oni, the Tennyo, humans again, the Demihuman, and the Kyojin!

In Tenchō the Oni, Humans and Tennyo have supernatural abilities called Strength Arts. Strength Arts give the beings of Tenchō magical abilities they can uses in combat, manifested from the strength of their past, present, personality or achievements in their life, the reason they are called Strength Arts. There's 5 different types of Strength Arts, the Shadow Arts, the Air Arts, the Stone Arts, the Divinity Arts and the Unknown Arts!

There are seven nations ruled by the seven mighty Kami(gods), which are Amaterasu the Kami of the Sun, Tsukuyomi the Kami of the Moon, Susanoo the Kami of the Storm, Hachiman the Kami of War, Suijin the Kami of Water, Benzaiten the Kami of Love and Omoikane the Kami of Knowledge. The Kami are able to be played by members who join the server!

Fate works differently than how it works normally in our world. In Tenchō, from the moment you're conceived in the womb, your entire live is already predetermined by a unknown being above even the Kami... His name is Cardnat. For example, if Cardnat fated you to go left, you go left. If you attempt to go right even if you're fated to go left, something horrid will force you to go left as punishment from Cardnat for attempting to disobey him.

Raphtalia’s lips pressed together in a thin line, her rose hued irises reflecting reds and oranges from the licking flames as she stoked the fire. It was burning brilliantly, a sure draw to monsters if Naofumi had not ensured their location was safe and away from any dangers. He was careful in his planning, protecting the party. Protecting her.

But that wasn’t what she had meant when she asked if he was happy.

“I…Of course we are. We all care about each other and take care of one another.” The last time she had experienced something similar, her parents had been alive. Raphtalia tried to conjure words that would make more sense, more to the point she had intended.

For the moment, it was just the two of them. Just like old times.

“Naofumi-sama, I meant…” The desire for things to remain the same, for him to still care for her, both emotions competed in her heart. Placing down the stick she used to temper the fire, her gaze flickered up to his own. “Are you happy in this world? Even if…Not there would ever be any reason of course,” she amended quickly before glancing away, her tail shifting slowly. “Even if it was just you and me?”

Hello! How long have you been working on this story? Are there any major inspirations for it?

Thank you for the inquiry! This is a bit of an interesting one.

So, Mythos as a vague concept was very first conceived on November 22nd, 2019, according to the Discord logs.

This iteration of Mythos wasn't much like the story we have today, though the name and some of the basic concepts were already there. It was originally conceived as a Discord roleplay server (I had a sizeable friend group that participated in various roleplays together, and though we don't rp as much anymore most of us still hang out online. Quite a few concepts and characters in Mythos come from things I came up with for other peoples' roleplays), with the main gimmick being that there were no human characters; everyone had to be some kind of fantasy race.

The story would take place in Saga, a massive fantasy city which, under the guidance of an Ancient God named Grace, allowed every race to coexist peacefully—canonically, every fantasy race you've ever heard of, every fantasy creature converted into some type of demihuman, and even a collection of new original races of my own all lived together here.

Ultimately, that entire idea fell apart after a few friends I invited to help me develop it pointed out some serious flaws. I wouldn't abandon the idea just yet, though.

It was, according to more Discord logs, around June of 2020 that the next Mythos server started. Keeping this one limited to a smaller group of friends.

It started out with a gritty, slightly survival-oriented story following a small group of scrappy Humans doing their damnedest to survive in a world where everything is out to kill them and also everything except for them has magical powers.

From that point, the story took many turns and developed into something very close to the current vision of Mythos's story and world, just a bit undercooked.

Though the rp eventually died, I'd fallen in love with the world, story, and characters and kept developing it to this day, resulting in the version of Mythos we have today.

As for inspirations, Mythos and all of my other works mainly pull from anime, manga, and web comics, with a bit of Tolkien-esque fantasy film stuff mixed in there. I struggle to think of specific examples as far as inspirations as a whole, but most of the characters, areas, or plot points tend to draw a lot from a few specific things that I happened to be really into at the time when I made them, as is inevitable when you ad-lib a story the way I did for the original run of the roleplay. In the end, I think this is actually an advantage for Mythos, as it helps all the people, places, and events feel a bit more varied.
