Breakdown of my current loadout. Missions with specialized hardware requirements might result in additional gear being issued, but for a regular patrol, it's usually something like this.

*Rifle* - Standard fighting weapon, two hand grip, rifle caliber. Typically configured in full-auto for emergency situations; trigger discipline can be used to pick single shots. My current issue is a compact Kalashnikov-based design, the Kastov, chambered in 5.56x45 NATO. I like this one because it will accept 5.56, 7.62x39mm, '54 rimmed, 10mm auto and even 7.62 Tokarev. This one is fitted with a Micro T1 sight without a riser, for lower height-over-bore.

*Suppressor* - Usually I have my primary OR sidearm suppressed, not both. This allows me the option of a stealthy approach while still retaining an unsuppressed weapon, which typically have better ballistics. This one is a Hux Ventum with a canvas wrap to reduce the can's heat signature.

*Handgun* - Remember, switching to your pistol is always faster than reloading. NCO's, officer-class Militiamen, and myself all carry a sidearm in case of primary stoppage. Standard issue is a no-frills Glock in a P80 configuration in black or two-tone. This particular serial was taken from an installation on the south side and sporterized for combat use by SMT-0 with a Gemtech compensator and Leupold Deltapoint RDS.

*Grenade* - Offhand thrown weapons offer more flexibility approaching a situation. The Mk3A7 offensive concussion grenade is a good choice when fragmentation grenades run too great a risk of over penetration or friendly fire.

*Melee* - A blunt instrument helps me get the drop on raider sentries, keeping their deaths silent and my infiltration secret. This pattern of shock baton is standard issue for militiamen in riot-prone installations.

*Bladed* - You don't need a knife until you do! More of a practical implement than a weapon in this loadout, kept for cutting rope, processing firewood, prepping dinner... and the occasional raider who gets too close.

The full-sized Glock G17 makes for an excellent duty weapon with police and military forces. It's also a solid handgun for home defense. The ability to use 33-round magazines, toss a light on it, and equip the weapon with an optic makes it an excellent home defense firearm.

Glock 17 Gen 3 slide and function on a gen4 frame

Naturally a GLOCK™ factory or aftermarket GEN3 slide will fit and function on a GEN4 frame, but there are a few issues to address. First is the ugly gap and the second is the flex in the frame because of the large hole.

The Gen 4 slide still will not fit the Gen 3 frame. A better option to than trying to interchange the slides between the Gen 4 and Gen 3 is to upgrade the either Gen with aftermarket Glock slides for improved performance, racking grip and look The full-sized Glock G17 makes for an excellent duty weapon with police and military forces. Glock 17 gen 3, gen 4 and gen 5 slides

The gun has become more popular for concealed carry. It is a very large gun. But it is still viable to carry the Glock 17 and the IWB, Appendix IWB, or OWB positions. You just have to make sure that your body is large enough to do so. The Glock 17 is the best full-size striker-fired 9mm pistol across the planet because of the success of the G17L pistol, tried-and-true reliability, and accuracy. IWB holsters will generally be better for situations when it is of the utmost importance to conceal your firearm, such as in your everyday life, while OWB Holsters will be better for situations when it is not overly necessary to keep the gun concealed (such as when you're embarking on a hike out in the woods). Are Glock 17 and 22 holsters the same?Technically, the Glock 17, Glock 22, and Glock 31 are all part of the same Glock family, and are close enough in size that all 3 Glock models will fit into the same holster. One suggestion stood out simply because we had never done it before. "How about tiger stripes on a chrome slide?" was an exciting proposal from one of the stock market makers. It was exciting because GlockStore has done many camouflage patterns in CeraKote paint as well as Hydro graphic prints, but never in the metal finish on the slide. Starting with Glock's flagship pistol, the Model 17, we sent it to our machine shop and had an RMR Red Dot sight mount cut into the slide. We chose to use the "co-witness" style so that the shooter could use iron sights if needed. Our gunsmiths then removed the original factory finish to reveal the bare stainless slide. One of the brush makers polished the slide to a mirror finish and then we sent it out for our Hard Chrome finish. I'd like to tell you the rest of the details of how we created the amazing finish, but I've been sworn to secrecy and I like my job. Many of our customers are competitive shooters who rely on our Pyramid Trigger to improve their speed and accuracy. Our adjustable Pyramid Trigger systems allow the shooter to choose the weight of their trigger pull, and the length of the trigger pull. This allows for faster follow-up shots as well as better accuracy because the shorter and shorter trigger pull will not "pull the pistol" off target.

After seeing the picture of the Croydonian with the old Croydon council logo which I always thought looked really cool i asked you guys about your most iconic landmarks to start working on this. . No.1 was the number one choice and I had Ragland House (the brutalist BT tower) in this composition but i decided to replace it with a hidden landmark, the Shirley windmill. . Taking my time on this one, possibly gonna simplify it even more and have the stylistically unifying horizontal lines across the whole image like the old logo as well as trees like the crooked one at Caithness walk.
