I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TRYING TO DO HORIKOSHI KOHEI!!!! 😭
Tumblr media
YOU'LL MAKE TENKO TRUST IZUKU MORE AND MORE!!!
AND THEN WHAT???
MAKE HIM TOTALLY DOUBT HIMSELF BECAUSE HE'S THE SON OF ALL FOR ONE
AND TENKO WILL THINK THAT IZUKU WILL TRY TO MANUPULATE HIM AS AFO WOULD HAVE DONE 😭 AND THAT WILL BREAK HIS TRUST...(༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ)

If All For One is Deku's father...
Deku being Quirkless has two explanations:
He's legitimately Quirkless and father dearest stole it when he was a baby.
He has the same Quirk as AFO except he never tried to use it because why would he?
They both have a deep fascination with other people's Quirks and understanding how they work. The only difference is AFO's view is, "Your Quirk is fascinating and I want it," and Deku's is "Your Quirk is amazing and you're lucky to have it."
...
I don't like this math.
Tumblr media
....
Recap of, "It's your Quirk, not his?"

Afo CANONICALLY has white eyes.
Tumblr media
Well, that explains this.
I don’t know if the anime made a mistake and gave him red eyes instead of white or it was intentional and the afo clone theory stands. Either way it doesn’t effect the dfo theory, it actually makes it more possible! If this afo is not the afo we saw previously then it’s most likely Hisashi.

Gonna be honest, I’m not anti Dad for one theory. I’m not pro dad for one theory. It exists and I find fun in both theories.
What I love more than the theories is the dozens of posts I’ve seen of fandom extremist infighting, where some people constantly hate on the theory like it killed their extended family all while attacking the character of anyone who would think such a thing was possible, while the other portion of fandom extremists on the complete opposite end of the fight are all all “HAVE YOU SEEN THAT AFO HAS EYES/HAIR/TWO ARMS AND LEGS/SITS DOWN/STANDS/HAS EMOTIONAL EXPRESSIONS?! SO DOES DEKU! THIS IS UNDENIABLE PROOF THAT HE IS THE FATHER AND IF YOU CAN’T SEE THAT YOU’RE [insert over the top insult here].”
I find this fascinating.
I want those two halves of this argument to go to anime paternity court. And I want Horikoshi to be the judge with the little envelope that, after listening to both sides go off, dramatically opens it up and announces to the two (usually deranged looking at this point when it comes to those shows) sides of the court room that “AFO? You… are/are not the father!”
Both sides absolutely will burst into tears. One side will start cussing at the other for reasons. One might even demand money for pain and suffering it put them through. Meanwhile the back of the courtroom (who are the people who are more chill about it) are just oohing and ahhhing over all of it and clapping at the end while the drama still continues.

One idea has been spinning in my head for a month now and it has been haunting me. I decided to talk about this idea while we are all waiting for spoilers. I'm just imagining a scene where Izuku and AFO are standing opposite each other. Izuku knows that Tenko is still out there somewhere, needing to be rescued, and Izuku really wants to help him, but he can't because AFO's will is still too strong and Izuku has no idea what he could do. At this moment, AFO begins to talk to him, and offers Izuku a deal: AFO will leave Tenko and the entire society alone if Izuku himself takes AFO's quirk for himself. Izuku just stands there, trying to process what was just said while AFO just stares at him calmly. In the end, AFO says it should be an easy choice for Izuku. He has seen that Izuku is a hero through and through, and knows that he would not leave a poor soul to suffer, even if the cost of saving that soul was Izuku himself. As soon as AFO's words sink in, Izuku makes a decision really quickly. AFO is right, Izuku thinks. It's a really simple choice. After all, Izuku always puts other people's lives first. His own life/freedom/soul is not such a big price to pay for saving another person. So Izuku eagerly extends his hand forward...
...
The battle is over. But the heroes didn't win, not really. The country is destroyed. Many villains are on the loose. There are few heroes left. AFO is still here. But Izuku promises that he will keep him under control. He will put his new quirk to good use, and as long as his friends and family are by his side, together they will overcome all adversity.
P.s. Just so you know, while I was writing all this, I was listening to the Kate Bush song Running Up That Hill. And the lines “And if I only could I’d make a deal with God and I’d get him to swap our places” played in my head all this time.
I like this idea because it would be the best outcome for everyone. Tenko would have been saved from AFO. Izuku wouldn't remain quirkless and could live out his dream of becoming a hero. AFO's quirk would be used for good, just like Yoichi wanted.
Tumblr media
I also think this concept would work even better if DFO was confirmed, or if OFA returned to Izuku. AFO was then able to also be there for his son and/or brother.

Part two of insanely stupid Chapter 430 predictions that definitely won't happen:
Midoriya's Dad turns out to actually be Masaru so Izuku and Bakugo are now siblings, SIKE

Okay, now let's all get on the same page. Izuku has never been without a birth alter, that's impossible.
I elaborate, in chapter 410 All for one dies, which means that all the alters he'd stolen so far are returned to their owners, dead or alive.
Tumblr media
Now, right after that, his hair is turning white, for no good reason.
Because if we follow the famous "he doesn't have an alter" reasoning, this color change is just a mistake by Horikoshi. But it isn't ;)
In chapter 413, the owners of the One for All decide that Izuku must give the One for All to shigaraki so that they can beat him from the inside.
Because it's impossible for Izuku to beat him physically.
But let's agree, Izuku is definitely dead if he passes the Ofa. By the time they react after the transfer, enlarge the breach and do their thing. Shigaraki will have had all the time he needs to destroy everything. With deku left with NO defense.
So I sincerely believe that his stolen alter will save him when the One for All no longer belongs to him.
Because there's no way he'll survive without an alter against shigaraki, who'll have the two most powerful alters. Knowing that even with the One for All it wasn't a foregone conclusion 🧍‍♀️

It's interesting that where it's dark, you can see this part of Izuku's face. And where there is light, you can see the part that is not covered by the shadow.
As if to say that Izuku represents both the dark side and the good side.
And those hands again. Who do we often see with such gesticulation in manga? Yes, All for one.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Same as here in the manga.)
Tumblr media
For example (But most people already know that)

Similarities between afo and izuku part2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
AFO’s and lzuku’s way of planning. They both think many routes but have only ONE goal on their mind. Izuku wanted to grab bakugo and leave but afo(chapter 408) wants to get away from him and kill him at the same time. The difference 😭.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izuku is shown in Afo’s colours. I’d say this is a coincidence but why give Tomura All might’s colours and izuku Afo’s all in one drawing. It’s like they are a different side from the same coin *cough cough*
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even their fingers are the same.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
No comment.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They are both fascinated by quirks and love to analyse them.
