Zabdiel [Freelancer/Deviant] is probably my favorite off the top of my head, I just adore this sketch so much

Ayl [Lovely] came to mind as well, but I think I'm partially biased 'cause this is a recent piece I'm really proud of

I haven't drawn/designed them yet (visually) but I anticipate that I'm gonna have a lot of fun with Dejah [Cutie] as well as my "Treasure" whenever I get around to designing them (which might be sooner rather than later given the recent Porter vid)

Ok, I love A Princess of Mars so much (the books not the movie), but the fanart is severely lacking. Like, there are other things to draw besides Dejah Thoris in compromising positions. If someone can figure out how to draw her in a way that stays true to the books without overly sexual using her I might actually owe you a life debt. For now though, we could draw awesome battleships and weird alien creatures/landscapes instead? I personally feel like that would be more fun but uhhh you do you ig

I say this a lot about being a “big fan of things“ but I really am!

Case in point i really love the john carter of mars books and the depiction of them by frank frazetta. Even though the books were mostly strip mined for ideas by like a billion more recognizable works (Avatar, Star Wars, Star Trek, Superman, etc) to the point that the original work seems cliche, there’s still quite a lot to love for a guy who never really grew up.

What guy wouldn’t want to be John Carter who travels between planets, gains powers, fights aliens, and wins the heart of a beautiful mostly naked princess?

So I drew this bit of Dejah Thoris overlooking the kingdom of Helium awaiting John to “return home“ where he belongs.

Also Ray Bradbury and Carl Sagan are huge fans of the work. Listen to sagan nerd out on the books.
