Day 80

I spent the better part of the day with you yesterday

After shopping, you called and apologized

I cleaned and we went out to eat

I took you to a piano gallery and you want to work there

It looks perfect for you, quiet and peaceful

I want you to show me more sides of you

And I think I understand

I think I’ll have another morning trip today

I’m not sure to where yet

Why is everything so far away

It’s cold and a little gloomy but I love that

November isn’t good for you

But every month brings joy for me

How do I extend that to you

Those words mean a lot and I can’t use them again

Yo-yo-ing through Terra Firma

What would really happen if you fell into a hole that is drilled through the center of the earth?

The main problem with all the descriptions of this event is they ignore most of the facts. Fact number 1: Although the crust is relatively hard, the mantle is not. It flows like a ultra thick syrup. Drilling through it has no meaning. It would be like drilling into mud, or very hot tar. Let's not even get started on the core. Literally liquid magma. Good luck drilling through that.

Fact number 2: things get really, really hot the deeper you go down. As in you would not believe how hot. Estimates put the earths temperature at about 100 degrees Celsius when you are a measly 3 km down. So as soon as you hit the 3 km mark all the water in you body starts to boil. Hate to break it to you but your body is 70% water, so at this point you're not doing very well. Go just a little bit deeper and the fat around your waist will ignite too. You don't even make it 0.5% of the distance to the other side.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there will be no riding gravity this fall, only dissapointment. Unless your a spectator. Then it might be a tad bit entertaining if you're into the dark stuff.

Late night thought.

You know how when you need to put a cat down you can kinda just gentle toss them. And that sometimes people who are use to holding cats then hold a dog and forget that you can't really do the same thing for them. So they end up just throwing a dog. I would like to imagine that was what it was like for Bruce to go from having Dick as a child to Jason.

Bruce main experience with children would be this little acrobat who would just jump/flip out of his arms and honestly enjoyed the extra momentum of the toss when being put down. So that's just how he is use to releasing kids when carrying them. But then he has Jason, and is holding him and they have a cute moment, but then by instinct he throws Jason, and Jason just thumps to the ground. And both of them are staring at each other with confusion.
