Works In Progress

So much of my writing is wrapped up in various WIPs that have been slowed by the usual winter-lull that sits into my fingers and brain. Which is to say: I haven't had much to show lately!

I'm still sort of experimenting with how I want to present things on Tumblr. I'm not a huge fan of huge-huge posts, and I like the formatting freedom that Carrd offers when hosting short stories. We shall see.

Anyways sometimes I find it helpful to just unroll everything I'm working on so it is not trapped entirely in my brain so here it goes:

KALIEDOHOUSE - A Haunted House Stories. This is my novel, progress is very slow as when it comes to long-form projects like this I prefer to nail down the structure and key ideas before work proper. That is to say I know entirely what it's about now, I just need to start the chisel work. The idea is how stories and memory inform the sort of anxieties and fears we might project on a house, and what a house might do with those feelings were it - say - impassively evil.

It disguises itself as an anthology, and the deeper we explore the more we see how these separate haunted house stories relate, reflect back on, and influence each other. Right up until the fire starts, and everything that burns up with it.

SHE, NO.99 - Hyper-indulgent cyberpunk trans action heroism. Everyone needs a project where they do not attempt to quality check themselves. This is where I've been focusing all my But It's Just Cool energy, I enjoy writing action and rarely find the space for it, so here we have a cyberpunk setting and a canonically trans action hero who happens to be an amalgamation of all my favourite badass women characters.

It's also framed around this idea of being recovered episodes from a TV show that was cancelled before it ever got to air. A Saturday morning cartoon that was defunded as soon as the producers realized what it was really about.

'GIRLS,!' - Single scene sapphic love stories. I write a lot of horror and this exists for me to just make something nice and softly sapphic and indulgent. I hope to be finished with it by January, at which point I won't shut up about it for another month or two. It's just girls loving girls in all the configurations that can take.

FIELD. - In the dead of winter a heavy blanket of snow settles over the towns that exist along the stretch of A30 road. Except one field. A woman's father becomes obsessed with finding the cause of this anomaly. Why did snow refuse to settle in that square of land?

THE RETURN OF THE JUNIOR CRYPTID SOCIETY - Years after leaving high school, ex-club leader Fizz resummons the members of the Junior Cryptid Society for one last investigation. Safely returning a landlocked mermaid to her ocean home.

It's sort of about having that one shared interest that bonded you to those adjacent in your school years, where your social circle was restricted to who you were in proximity with, and then how those people change from what you remember. It's also about that odd melancholic feeling of growing up and realizing your social circle was almost entirely queer and maybe you'd have more time and better memories if you had known sooner.

That's everything with a name anyway - I've also been passively working on a fantasy anthology because, c'mon, like I'm not going to write sword lesbians at some point in my future? I also want to work on my Sojourner's Tales volumes, which might be where TROTJCS ends up (how about that for an acronym?). I also want to do a volume about queer slasher horror stories.

In general I would like to figure out Blogging more because I just want to get my stuff seen. I intend on posting another personal essay, this time about my stay in hospital post-The Big Surgery. I also intend on trying to interact with the community more in general, alas when it comes to others I often have the constitution of a startled rabbit.

i completely agree w/ the individual tweets. however, being evil to the homeless is a staple of liberal party politics too and voting blue will do next to nothing to support unhoused people. i live in one of the bluest places in the nation and people still starve to death outside big tech skyscrapers constantly. sweeps everywhere. camping bans. and all our democrat leaders run on ‘fixing the homeless problem’ before getting into office and defunding direct street response teams. the police budgets only continues to rise. surveillance is increasing and so is hostile architecture. moreover public community spaces shut down regularly across the city.

while i’m willing to entertain the argument that liberal politicians are better than the alternative, that’s all they’ll ever be. the system of neoliberal capitalism caused this crisis and all politicians are loyal to upholding their authority first. the master’s house will never be dismantled by the master’s tools. want to actually help unhoused people? engage with community support! join a group like food not bombs to do direct aid, meet unhoused people in your neighborhood, carry cash to give to those who need it, advocate for affordable housing and children’s rights, etc etc etc — politicians will never truly be our allies because they directly benefit from the status quo’s continuation.

The fact that homelessness is controversial tells you everything you need to know about conservatives.

What have they done to me...let's see...

1. Successfully campaigned to have male criminals, including rapists and murderers, put in women's prisons if they request it, where they have access to vulnerable female inmates who are often already victims of abuse. This has resulted in many incidents of rape and sexual harassment in women's prisons.

2. Successfully campaigned to end sex-segregation of female washrooms and changerooms, leaving women without privacy even when they're undressed. This has resulted in actual rapes and sexual harassment, and kept vulnerable women from being able to have access to public spaces.

3. Had women's only shelters defunded if they refused to allow males to live or volunteer there.

4. Made it "hate speech" to need and ask for female only spaces, which has resulted in things like actual women being kicked out of domestic violence or homeless shelters if they refused to share a bedroom with a male stranger.

5. Successfully campaigned to have male's crimes reported as female crimes, massively skewing the data on sex offences and violent crimes. Here's 71 male criminals whose crimes were recorded as female crimes.

6. Generally intruded upon women's spaces, refusing to allow female people any private space with members of their own sex. Look at the campaign to shut down a female only music festival (one of the only festivals where women felt safe from rape and sexual harassment), or the campaigns to force women's only colleges to admit male students who identified as women.

7. Demonized lesbians for actually being homosexual, treated lesbians like they were evil for only being capable of attraction to the same sex. Invaded lesbian spaces, appropriated the term lesbian (which means female homosexual and is innately exclusive of any male), deprived actual lesbians of community, and made countless lesbians feel ashamed of themselves for being exclusively same-sex attracted.

8. Completely ended female sports by successfully campaigning to allow literal men to compete against females in women's sport. Actual female people have lost scholarships for female athletes, lost awards, and lost opportunities to compete at high-level sporting events like the Olympics because a male took one of a limited number of spots.

9. Campaigned for young children to be allowed to transition, with access to blockers (which are very dangerous), and to cross-sex hormones (ditto, and irreversible), which has led to countless gay children being left permanently mutilated by their homophobic parents.

It appears everything in Washington is crooked and on the take. 

Not just Congress but the FBI, the CIA, the Justice Department, the Pentagon, the Generals, literally everyone in Washington including those in the past administration. 

Add to all this Silicon Valley and the social media, cable news, a biased media, and foreign intervention.  

These groups amalgamated to become the Deep State.

President Trump didn't have a chance. 

He walked into this mess four years ago and tried to clean the swamp. 

But the swamp monster ate him alive piece by piece starting on Day 1. 

Unfortunately his actions over the past few weeks in disputing the election had a small roll for the events at the capital. 

All the good he did over the past four years wiped away .

He's a marked man for the rest of his life.

So where does he go now? 

Where can he live? 

What is the impact on his family. 

As one top general said yesterday, he's a great leader without a country.

The changes that are coming will have time to affect senior citizens and will impact their children and grandchildren.

The coronavirus impact on our country is mild compared to what lies ahead.

- Why the Biden's connection to China was overlooked and then they unleashed the perfect weapon, - a virus that could be weaponized politically to bring down the greatest ever economy and usher in unverifiable mail in voting.

- Why social media silences the First Amendment and speaks over the President of the United States.

This has been the plan by the Deep State all along. 

They didn't expect Trump to win in 2016. 

He messed up their plans. 

Delayed it a little. 

They weren't about to let it happen again. 

COVID-19 was weaponized, Governors helped shut down their states, the media helped shame and kill the economy, and the super lucky unverifiable mail in ballots were just the trick to make sure the career politician allegedly with hands in Chinese payrolls that couldn't finish a sentence or collect a crowd, miraculously became the most popular vote recipient of all time.

You have just witnessed a coup, the overthrow of the US free election system, the end of our constitutional republic, and the decline of capitalism into the slide toward socialism. 

What will happen next?

Expect the borders to open up. 

Increased immigration. 

Expect agencies like CBP and INS and Homeland Security to be muzzled or even deleted.   

Law enforcement will see continued defunding. 

The electoral college will be gone. 

History erased. 

Two Supreme Court Justices might be removed. 

The Supreme Court will be packed. 

Your 2nd Amendment will be attacked. 

If you have a manufacturing job or oil industry job, get ready. 

If you run a business, brace for impact. 

Maybe you'll be on the hook for slavery reparations, or have your suburbs turned into Section  8 housing. 

Your taxes are going to go up, and businesses will pay more. 

I could go on and on.

There is no real recovery from this. 

The elections from here on will be decided by New York, Illinois, and California.

The Republic will be dead. 

Mob rule and appeasement will run rampant. 

The candidate who offers the most from the Treasury will get the most votes. 

But the votes voted won't matter, just the ones received and counted. 

That precedent has been set.

i’m not gonna assume anything about your thought process here, but it kinda sounds like you’re assuming the only options are liberals and conservatives. are liberals better than conservatives in a lot of ways? yeah sure. it’s important that they do tend to be less actively malicious against poc, women, lgbt, etc. 

HOWEVER, much of the oppression marginalized groups face is caused either directly or indirectly by capitalism. liberals, by definition, support capitalism. which is why, when forced to choose between the need to seem “woke” by supporting poc and need to uphold capitalism, they’ll choose capitalism.

the working class is beginning to develop class consciousness and make demands that threaten the status quo of capitalism. a good example is the call to defund the police. in a vacuum, it would make a lot of sense for democrats to rally behind this as much of their voter base supports it. however, the police and military are crucial to upholding private property, something capitalism can’t survive without. who will stop the masses from collectivizing the factories? from shutting down pipelines?

the reason leftists like myself are particularly angry atm is because biden’s choice to pick kamala harris for vp is one of the most blatant demonstrations that he, and many democrats alongside him, have chosen the status quo of capitalism over the lives of their most vulnerable constituents.

I am all out of giggles for folks who dismiss violence on behalf of the state and condemn violence against it. If you're willing to let it slide conditionally, you don't think it's "evil." "Evil" is a moral absolute with no room for nuance. You're trying to shut down your own brain and the brains of others when you apply it to revolutions AND the maintaining of the status quo. Of course I don't want a violent revolution. I don't want a violent everyday existence either. Does it seem like the violent status quo is NBD and it doesn't matter? Why?

War is not glorious.

...so what the heck are we doing? 225 out of 243 years! And we're not even counting the never-ending wars on concepts, like Drugs and Poverty. Surprisingly, you can't kill Drugs. You can, however, kill lots and lots of people, at home and abroad.

Zoom out, define the "violence" you're against, and make darn sure you haven't cut off marginalized and disenfranchised people from their only means of protesting the violence against them. Are you dissatisfied with the Stonewall riots? The Civil Rights Movement? BLM? Defunding the police? Resisting the police? Blocking traffic? Yelling real loud? Accosting politicians when they're trying to have a nice dinner and would rather be left alone? And how are you with forcing immigrants to die in the desert, putting children in concentration camps, denying people life-saving healthcare, and allowing them to be murdered by police? Let alone the genocide in progress! Where is the line, why do you draw it there, and do you draw it in a different place for politicians, government, the military and/or the police? PLEASE THINK ABOUT THIS.

When is an apocalypse NOT an apocalypse? I see people suffering and dying. I see worlds ending. Don't you? What's the appropriate response when your government engages in a genocide? I can't answer for you. I can't even answer for myself. I didn't want to be asked! But don't put these questions down and walk away from them because they're scary or hard. These are hard and scary times.

A little advice from someone studying extremist groups: if you’re in a social media environment where the daily ubiquitous message is that you have no hope of any kind of future and you can’t possibly achieve anything without a violent overthrow of society, you’re being radicalized, and not in the good way.

One of my conservative family members was convinced that we were about to enter a martial law state re: lockdown and people taking their guns away and defunding (read: de-armoring) the police

Meanwhile my more liberal friends are concerned about entering a police state if the protests are shut down successfully and police are given more liberties to attack rioters and protestors

Conservatives are afraid of control and violence

Liberals are afraid of control and violence

Both fear a world where their friends and family are hurt and they are unable to protect them or themselves...and both are convinced that the other side is working to bring about what they most fear and are too stupid and evil to see it coming

Why I became politically activated (agitated), or why I became a Trump supporter.

All the cards on the table, I doubt anyone will read this, especially anyone to whom it might make a difference or change a mind.  This is a textual equivalent to shouting into the wind, and at the moment of writing these words, I don’t even know if I will post them anywhere.  Yet I find clarity in writing things out, and in light of the state of our country, I want to organize my stream of consciousness to see why and how I got here, to where I stand now, at this point of time.

I used to pride myself on my lack of political involvement.  I used to all but sneer when people got all worked up about political issues.  Such things were distant and had no seeming impact on my life, though I did my civic duty and voted whenever possible, because that’s what you do in a republic, and you have no right to complain about the results if you did nothing to affect them.

So, when Trump first mentioned that he was running for president, I just rolled my eyes and chuckled like anyone else.  He was vain, self-promoting and way too quick on the Twitter finger.  He’s no one I would want to have over for dinner, but now I’m glad he won and I hope he wins again.  I don’t think anyone else’s ego would have been able to weather the storm we’ve gone through over the past 4 years.  Especially not a politician, who survives mainly by going wherever the wind of public opinion blows.

But I’m not a Republican, so I can’t vote in their primaries, so when he rose to the top, I was as surprised as anyone else.  So, who was my other option?

Hillary Clinton, the poster child of political corruption and cronyism, whose scandals and crimes make a bigger volume than all the books she’s written explaining(complaining) about her loss.

2016 is when I had my political awakening and started to really look around at what was happening in the culture around me.  Perhaps it was because I was a parent to a child on the cusp of adolescence who would soon start to be immersed in it.  What I saw terrified me.

America had a rising group of Nazis infiltrating our culture.  And I don’t mean the stereotypical skin heads we all revile and view with disgust.  And I don’t mean the paltry 10-11k white supremacists in our country of 365 million (per Anti-defamation League data).  No one took them all that seriously, because their bigotry was all too obvious, easily exposed, and they were, quite frankly, too few to matter.

No, I mean a real group of extremists who were Nazi’s in all but name.  Who actually made a point of labeling anyone who disagreed with them a Nazi, in fact.  Who with seeming ignorance of the historical irony of their actions, re-enacted every deed performed by the black and brown shirts of pre-WWII fascist Europe.  They worked to shut down free speech (of anyone whose position differed from their own), attacked and intimidated anyone who challenged them with threats physical, verbal, professional and political, advocating literal book burning, public destruction of property, and most sneaky of all, enacting a new form of acceptable racism into a form that some have compared to a state-sponsored cult or religion.  I saw the blossom in 2016, and now I am seeing the fruit.

A couple weeks ago, I watched, in horror, live on television as the Krystal Naught was reenacted in my own city and cities across the country.  Since then I’ve seen these groups claim territory, terrorize and destroy businesses and residents’ homes.  Most often—again in seeming unconscious irony—those belonging to the very people they claimed to be fighting in support of.  The term terrorist is apt, as well as zealot.  They subvert groups of well-meaning people to their own political ends and rain down terror on anyone who disagrees with them, up to and including actual physical harm, and provoking situations that wind up in death.

They are left wing, just as the Nazi’s were, born from a communist/Marxist foundation with an emphasis on race, instead of class, as their dividing point.  It’s not the proletariat and bourgeoisie anymore, it’s <insert minority group> vs white.  The irony that most of these individuals are themselves, white, seems—of course—to be lost on them.  Fascism is socialism with a nationalistic and racial focus.  It was invented by a student of Marx as a way of making socialism feasible.  Apart from the nationalistic bent, this group follows the same formula.  Anyone who disagrees with them is a Nazi or some kind of “-ist” or “-phobic.”  It’s a marvelous rhetorical device.  Say you’re not racist, well that that’s proof that you are!  Try and bring up a factual point that disagrees with them, and they slap you with a label and claim through intersectionality politics that they don’t have to listen to you or any facts you might have to offer because you are from the “wrong group.”  They only have to listen to details or views on an issue from a group appointed and designated by their ideology.  No one else could ever offer a differing position.  And those from the group in question who DO disagree with them?  Well obviously, they are “race traitors” and their views don’t matter either.  After all, a person is only a part of the “right group” if they agree with these people.  If this took place in Nazi Germany, they would have been called “Jew-lovers.”  I’ve literally watched people of color assaulted, abused, called racial slurs, by white people.  (yes, there’s that irony again.)  I’ve watched POC being told by these individuals, unaware of their actual skin color, to check their white privilege because obviously they have to be white if they disagree with their position.  I see this inherent and rampant racism every time I post my own views and watch as people assume I’m a white man because…I hold the “wrong view.”  Why would race even matter to whether or not what is being said is true or accurate, unless you're a racist?  They have all their groups in neat and tidy boxes, with their assigned positions and “proper,” “permitted” viewpoints and anyone straying from the herd must be culled.  I’ve watched them tear down statues of the men who gave them their rights, and statues of the men who freed slaves or died to free them, even black heroes!  They’ve torn down statues built to commemorate abolitionists in the name of…racism…  They paint a street, claiming that it is free speech, but when someone else paints on the same street, it’s a hate crime.

They are, in fact, the most racist people in our country, and they revel in it because they feel it’s justified.  Place any of these people in Nazi Germany and they would be chomping at the bit alongside the Fuhrer at the "outrages" the Jewish race had inflicted on their country and the "privileges" they possessed.  Their racism is “justified!”  It is “right!”  I have no doubt that, if our skin color didn’t already distinguish us from one another, the mobs roaming our cities now would be demanding something akin to pink triangles or stars of David be worn by the designated parties.  We can see their racism clearly wherever they find a position of power and are allowed to organize themselves.  We watched an utterly self-unaware Chaz/Chop re-institute Jim Crow laws and create race-designated locations, parks, gardens, etc.  Whenever they find themselves in power, they organize themselves along racial lines.  Given enough time, they would probably have created separate bathrooms and drinking fountains.

Like the Nazi’s of Germany, they thrive on division and fear.  It gave the Germans a sense of purpose and pride coming out of the Great Depression following WWI.  In today’s world, they never would have risen so far or so fast if not for the economic devastation following Covid-19 and the many frustrated, unemployed, frightened people it left in its wake.

And they do it all in the name of “racial” or “social” justice, and justify their rampant racism that way. They excuse their racism in the name of…racism.  It leaves one wondering if these are either the most historically ignorant and self-unaware people in human history, or if they are literally evil.  And I don’t use the term evil hyperbolically.  I don’t mean mustache-twirling villains in black.  No one really evil believes they are evil.  The Devil himself thought his actions justified.  Evil always justifies itself, masks itself as good, and this allows them to do even greater harm, for no one does more damage than an intellectual fool who believes they are doing the right thing.  The only thing greater than mankind’s tendency towards evil is our ability to convince ourselves that it is good.  And oh, they lie, and they lie, and they lie.  They lie about events where they were the aggressors.  They lie and even post videos of the event proving they are lying, boasting about their lies, because they know that they won't be held accountable, and their lie is being spread faster than the truth, and the people in authority will allow this.  Far from being counter-cultural, they are now a state-sponsored, state-supported non-theistic religion.  The similarities with a cult are creepy.

The truth is, they aren't interested in eliminating racism. In fact, as we can see from these protests, they make racism worse!  And they do so deliberately.  Why?  Because they aren't interested in lives, no matter the color.  They aren't interested in actual justice.  More black lives alone have been killed by these protests, by actual BLM and Antifa people, than unarmed black men were killed by cops across the country in all of 2019.  Perhaps we should defund/disband them.  They are militarizing racism the same way the Nazi's did, to gain power.  It's not about lives, it's not about actual violence or inequality, it's about the Movement. It's about gaining power and influence in society.  And it is working the same way it did back in Germany.  When you have literally white, leftist people attacking and calling black people racial slurs because they don't agree with their positions, and then claiming they are against racism....

So, let’s see here.  We have an international organization born from the German Communist Party, with localized cells but a unified ideology, cooperative networks, shared finances, a common uniform, trademarked logos and merchandise, who ferment racial tensions to gain political power, create divisions between communities, seek to destroy anyone who would stand in their way through threat of violence and intimidation, destroy history, hide in screens of “useful idiots” seeking to be a part of a cause that they stir into “protests” so they can create further unrest and violence, all so they can gain power for their ideology.  And all the while, claiming to be the victims of the people they attack so they can claim the moral high ground.  Self-defense in the face of the mob is “racist.”  Protecting your property is a sign of “privilege” that must be purged, even as they loot, burn, destroy homes and businesses of the people whose lives they claim to want to protect.  

Explain to me how, exactly, they aren’t exactly like the Nazi’s before the rise of Hitler?  They are a socialist organization, with a racial element that use intimidation, threats of violence, doxing, actual violence and harm to anyone who disagrees with them or stands in their way to gain political and social power.  A literally evil ideology that has caused more death and suffering to mankind than any other in history, that has failed everywhere it was implemented.

And all the while the media propaganda praises them, just as they did Hitler (who himself won Time’s Man of the Year award, recall).

If you want to know if you are one of the good guys, then ask, which side supports freedom of speech?  Which supports liberty?  Which side doesn't advocate for violence as a means to their ends?  Which side are literally attacking their opponents?  Are people better off when you are in control, or not?  I think we can look at the smoldering ruins of our cities to decide where these extremists stand.

So, why did I become politically activated/agitated?  It wasn’t some YouTube channel “radicalizing” me.  I am not a MAGA fanatic or Trump fan.  What motivated me was seeing the rise of a new, evil authoritarian power in America.  They wear a different mask, but their actions speak for themselves.  They are the REAL neo-Nazis.  It doesn’t matter what they call themselves now.  You can change your name, but your deeds remain.  Your title doesn’t define you; your actions do.  If it quacks like a duck….  The Right didn’t pull me to their side, you on the left drove me here in fear for my life and the future of this country.  The fear is only growing now as I see official after official bow (sometimes literally) to these groups.  If they gain any more political power, I shudder to think of the world my daughter will inherit.  Will she be the new Anne Frank?  The Right isn’t the one making threats or calling me names if I disagree with them.  You are.  They don’t threaten my life or my family’s future.  You do.  They aren’t the people approaching with devastation in their wake.  You are.  You activated me.  I can only hope enough other people will see you for what you are and be activated as well.  God help us all if you ever gain power.  Some of them are literally already calling for anyone who disagrees with them to be imprisoned in "re-education" camps.  No lie.  This cannot happen.  Never again.

Now you understand why there was never any action against the Clintons or Obama, how they destroyed emails and evidence and phones and servers, how they spied and wiretapped, how they lied to FISA, had conversations on the tarmac, sent emails to cover their asses after key meetings, how Comey and Brennan and Clapper never were brought to any justice, how the FBI and CIA lied, how the Steele Dossier was passed along, how phones got factory reset, how leak after leak to an accomplice media went unchecked, why George Soros is always in the shadows, why Romney and Paul and Bush and McCain were all involved, why they screamed Russia and pushed a sham impeachment, why no one ever goes to jail, why no one is ever charged, why nothing ever happens. He messed up their plans. Delayed it a little. They were not about to let it happen again. Covid was weaponized, Governors helped shut down their states, the media helped shame and kill the economy, and the super lucky unverifiable mail in ballots were just the trick to make sure the career politician allegedly with hands in Chinese payrolls that could not finish a sentence or collect a crowd, miraculously became the most popular vote recipient of all time. You have just witnessed a coup, the overthrow of the US free election system, the end of our constitutional republic, and the merge of capitalism into the slide toward socialism. What will happen next? Expect the borders to open up. Increased immigration. Expect agencies like CBP and INS and Homeland Security to be muzzled or even deleted. Law enforcement will see continued defunding. The electoral college will be gone. History erased. Two Supreme Court Justices might be removed. The Supreme Court will be packed. Your 2nd Amendment will be attacked. If you have a manufacturing job or oil industry job, get ready. If you run a business, brace for impact. Maybe you will be on the hook for slavery reparations, or have your suburbs turned into Section 8 housing. Your taxes are going to go up, and businesses will pay more. I could go on and on. There is no real recovery from this. The elections from here on will be decided by New York City, Chicago, and California. The Republic will be dead. Mob rule and appeasement will run rampant. The candidate who offers the most from the Treasury will get the most votes. But the votes voted will not matter, just the ones received and counted. A republic or a monarchy?’” Franklin responded, “A republic, if you can keep it.” Ladies and gentlemen, you will now lose your Republic. You turned from God. You turned from family. It should be framed and in every household, to inform & remind us. But I think it's too late, I keep saying, 'are there enough good people to stop this evil'?  Sadly I don't believe so, especially if we read the Bible, Read Revelation, We all should read Revelation, to know what's coming, in fact we get a crown in heaven, for reading the last book in the Bible, 'Revelation', so we know what's coming & are not afraid, as God Wins!

Sadly America cannot win, it has to 'Fall', ( it's Prophecy ) it has to become part of the 1 World System, 'NWO' New World Order as it's called, or now it's called 'The Great Reset', it's reset alright, we go from a natural world to a super natural one and Satan is King on Earth, God is Removed. But God is very much in control and though He allows Satan and his puppet the coming AntiChrist to Rule over the Earth and mankind, God is absolutely in control and though the greatest evil is coming to our world, God is not done, if we cling to Him, we will be Saved....  But WOW, if the world knew What the Book of Revelation Speaks of Coming, it's unimaginable and this world has never seen before the Great Evil Soon Coming.

The underlying problem is that conservatives think you want to make their life worse and seek greater social control.

Some of them will always think this, the same way some feminists will always think that everything is a manspiracy (that's a man conspiracy, in the style of 2014 Gawker feminism).

Mostly they think this because whenever environmentalists have the opportunity to reduce emissions while not reducing quality of life as much, environmentalists pick the option that preserves quality of life less.

Banning plastic straws when most waste plastic in the oceans is not from the United States, and plastic straws basically don't contribute to it at all.

Wanting to ban or massively reduce meat consumption rather than just feeding cows seaweed to reduce emissions or using some other strategy. (The motive is either veganism, animal welfare, or anger that poor people can afford meat, not climate.)

Wanting to reduce total energy consumption, which will necessarily make people poorer at a given level of technology, rather than just building nuclear power plants. It isn't just about cost - environmentalists will even shut down functioning plants during a European war and rely on gas imported from the invading country (as in Germany), increasing emissions.

Wanting to move everyone into high-density urban environments to conserve land and save resources with public transit, but also defund the police and ban guns, which is basically just making your city an open air prison for the normal people paying for its upkeep - and not the nice nordic kind.

Complaining that Western society uses too much resources per person... but also wanting to move hundreds of millions of people from developing countries to developed countries, which would massively increase their carbon footprint.

There are a few idiots rolling coal to spite the environmentalists, but the main assumption from conservatives is that environmentalists are either stupid or evil. (There are also some conservatives who believe in abiotic - and therefore unlimited - oil. But that is cope on their part.)

Elon Musk's reputation with them was negative during the Obama administration, but it improved long before his Twitter buyout - once his electric car company was less subsidized, he was just a successful businessman, because they don't hate the technology for its own sake. Elon Musk's electric car company was not their problem.

Personally, I resent that I have to rely on straw-banners as the main body of enthusiasts to prevent real problems like dumping of toxic waste, but so it goes.

I think the reason conservatives hate environmentalism so much is that all the terminology is too friendly and lame sounding to take seriously. I purpose we change the following terms to get these people on our side.

Solar powered -> Plasma charged

Wind power -> Vortex energy

Electric vehicle -> Lightning machine

Renewable resource -> Infinity asset

Greenhouse gasses -> Death Clouds

Global warming -> Property devaluation

Environmentalists -> Wilderness cops

For example, saying you're a wilderness cop that drives a lightning machine powered by infinity assets to reduce death clouds and increase your property value sounds 100x more macho than the alternative.

So. I don’t know if it’s good to post this. But I am still shaking and angry and need to put it down. 

I will say right off the bat, no one is hurt in this story, and this isn’t nearly as bad as things you’ll hear and see on the news, but there is a difference when its you in person. 

I’ve been going to protests semi-regularly for a couple of weeks now. There’s one thats near me that is pretty small, but meets there every day. While we were all there for serious matters, it became easy to think of it more as a party than a protest. We had music, we danced, we ended up in the background of a dance video (that was weird). What mattered to me is we were keeping the protest in the minds of people (predominantly white neighborhood) so they couldn’t forget and slide this matter under the carpet as they have been doing it for years. 

I’ll admit to some selfish reasons. It got me out of the house. It let me see my friends that I haven’t seen in quarantine. and more than anything the white guilt would have killed me if I just stayed inside. We’ve gotten our fair share of critiques, middle fingers, people yelling, yadda yadda, but those were easy to brush off.

Come to today. We walk up, and see another group of people across the street. One holds an American Flag. The other holds a ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ Flag. 

You can see where this is going. 

They say they are here because one of the protesters is carrying an upside down american flag. Quick history, the upside down american flag is a sign of a country in crisis. If you don’t think the country is in crisis, I will direct you to any news outlet (preferably not Fox, but whatever). They say it is disrespectful. Even if they’re right, it doesn’t matter more than black people’s lives.

They say all sorts of things. One of which was “If you care about black lives, what about black aborted babies?” Which ???????? Shut up. 

The leader of our protest is a goddamn saint, a black woman who is out there every goddamn day, and has the patience of an angel. She drowned them out with chants. Our voices were calling for justice, and we were louder, So what did they do? 

They got a fucking megaphone. 

The things they yelled at her....well to be honest I didn’t hear many of them myself because I was trying to keep the chants up and get cars to honk, anything to drown them out. but she was angry. I’ve never seen her angry, and so personally hurt. they were being racist, straight up, no question. 

The leader did what you’re supposed to do when you’re harrassed. She called the cops. Specifically ones she had interacted with and had positive experiences with. 

We waited 3 hours, and DIFFERENT cops showed up. I’m not sure if the counter protesters called them. They said there were two sides to the story so they couldn’t do anything. They said the counter protesters had the right to be there (no, we had the space, they could go as close as across the street if they wanted) 

The cops said to her “Aren’t you Black Lives Matter? Don’t you want to defund the police?” 

THERE. ARENT. OTHER. SYSTEMS. IN. PLACE. and we wouldn’t HAVE to defund you if you actually Protected and Served like you always goddamn say!

And to be honest, she wasn’t that big on defund the police before. Like I said, she’d had some positive experiences, so while she wanted to solve the systemic issues, she saw the positive (Again. Sainthood. Give it to this woman, please). They did nothing. They protected the Counter Protesters from US! the WORST protesters were doing was yelling and filming their racist speeches. 

I have seen hate. I know hate. I have listened to the stories of Black Americans, and I believe them. I don’t want this to be a “I’ve seen it myself and now I KNOW its real!” 

The thing that kills me here, that really grinds my gears on all of it: One of them bumped into me as they left, and said sorry. Because I’m white. Because I’m seen as more worthy than the protest leader who is out there every goddamn day fighting for her people. Who doesn’t GET to put down her signs when she gets home to be separate from all of this. /I/ do. And I didn’t ask for it, but I do anyway. If those men saw me on the street anywhere else they’d treat me with respect. I dont want it. I don’t want respect from racists.

I believe in progress and learning. Those men weren’t there to learn, they were there to spread hate. And it had nothing to do with the flag, or aborted babies they would have hated to, or their ‘freedom of speech’ or anything the fuck else. 

I saw evil today, with my own two eyes, not 10 minutes from where I live in a progressive liberal town. I want to believe there’s more good than there is that, and that if we all speak up we can drown out that hate. But first we all have to speak. 

So I ask every one of you who’s been silent, please, please speak. Take care of yourselves, of course, but take care of your peers too. Even if it’s just one more voice in a storm, your voice is the loudest one in your ears. So what are you saying with it?

My Concerns at This Time are With the Victims

...and depending entirely on what political bubble you live in, or which one you think *I* live in, you have already formed a mental image of who the victims are.

The victims are everyone harmed in the course of this. That course COULD have ended with George Floyd. His killer is already in custody and charged with his death.

But for people looking to press a political argument, or a social argument, or a race war, or just get free stuff from other folks' homes and businesses, that would have been too easy. The justifications flew quick and fast, explaining to us all how burning down Macy's is a understandable, proper, even useful form of "protest".

Because, apparently, Macy's murdered George Floyd instead of a police officer.

No no no, comes the reply, Macy's is PART OF THE SYSTEM and so are the police and we should defund the police and also capitalism is the oppression of marginalized voices and therefore burning Macy's is an understandable, proper, even useful form of protest.

Unless, of course, the reply is instead that police and white supremacists are doing it, inciting it, it's all a setup to let Donald Trump declare martial law and man can't you see it it's right in front of you -

...a setup that required Antifa to start chanting All Cops Are Bastards, for Black Lives Matters to torch police cars, for anything to go any further?

Well that's all justified because of the machine of oppression you see -

Like I said, my concerns are with the victims. And with supporting those whose interests are with bringing the people who created those victims to justice. Whether those are protestors, or citizen militias, or the police, or the National Guard, or a President. Heroes and villains are defined by their actions, and those actions are now in play.

Welcome to the year 2020. Do you want the bad news or the good news first?

First post. I’ve been wanting to write down everything I’ve been feeling and seeing and thinking. Finally getting around to it. It has to be good for something.

I’m going to format my posts with a health update, society update(global, national, and local) and journal my thoughts and feelings.

To catch you up, this is the worst year we’ve had as a planet in a long time. Australia caught on fire for a few months, but they finally put it out, thankfully. A war almost started somewhere. I forget with who. But that has all been dwarfed in recent weeks.

A strange respiratory flu virus usually contained to animals somehow transferred to humans in Wuhan, China. It’s a type of Coronavirus. It is a flu at least 4x more deadly than the seasonal flu. It lies undetected in contagious individuals for up to two weeks, possibly longer. It doesn’t even show symptoms for a vast majority of carriers. But for those it does infect and who do show symptoms(10-30% of the population), 20% need hospitalization, and 4-7% die from it. So if the world is 7.5 billion people, up to 90 million people could die from it if not properly contained. These are wild numbers but some countries are not, in fact, containing responsibly.

China went into lockdown, built emergency hospitals overnight, and probably suppressed their data so no one knew how bad it really was. So the rest of the world didn’t quarantine anyone coming in from China.

Some countries did, like Guatemala and Tasmania.

For the rest...Big mistake. It hit South Korea first, then Japan. The diamond princess was a cruise ship off the coast of Japan that had been quarantined poorly for a month. Tons of people got it there. But japan and South Korea took it seriously overall, and they have avoided a huge outbreak.

It hit Iran and Italy very badly too. Citizens of Iran just aren’t self quarantining to prevent the spread. Last I heard, one person every three minutes was being diagnosed with it there. Italy, sadly, didn’t, and still isn’t, taking it seriously either. They didn’t shut down their borders until much later. Their sick and dead in the northern region have overwhelmed the medical system. Thousands are dying. They’re dying in hospital hallways. Alone. Doctors and Nurses are dying from it. Five so far. Most of the medical staff in hospitals seem to get it and work through it to help the rest of us.

The worst responses so far out of the wealthiest countries have for sure been The United States and The United Kingdom.

I can’t do much to comment on the UK, as reports from the US are much worse and local, so I see them more. But I do know people are only working if their bosses make them, so some are forced to, and risk exposure or spread in public. I also know the UK has offered to pay citizens 80% of their missed wages. That’s good.

What’s not good is the US’ response. A joke. Our abysmal president downplayed it for months. He even called it a lie. His constituents hushed the drama so they could sell stock before the market crashed. He defunded the pandemic response and preparedness team and ignored their warnings last years. So far, no real lockdown from the government either. Certain states have called for non essential business to close down. Luckily I live in one and luckily my employer has complied. I’m so thankful.

Tons of businesses are unable to stay afloat. Millions of Americans have already lost their jobs. We are in a recession. We will enter a depression.

Another issue for our country is the complete lack of preparedness, funding, and supplies. We have so few test kits that some places like LA have given up on testing. We went from 1 case to 200 to “not going to count anymore” in less than a week. The beds we have to support people stricken by this disease are far too few. Not enough gloves, ventilators, masks, or healthcare professionals. We’ll get to Italy’s state soon.

I don’t want to be involved. I’ve been self containing as much as possible for weeks. Now I’m in total lockdown at my family home. The government is saying 14 days of quarantine. Most of us know it’ll be 2-3 months.

What will happen to our society though? How will the unfortunate (read: 90% of Americans) be able to survive without income? Can and will my republican government support them with food banks and soup kitchens? I fear not, as we have an emotionally and logically inept president. He is no leader, he’s hardly even human. He’s evil, which I’ll define as cruel, abusive, and totally lacking of empathy.

I once read The Secret Life of Bees. One character ha something wrong with her, where she feels all the negativity from the world so can’t watch the news or it breaks her. I relate to that. Far too empathetic for my own good. I’m feeling emotionally broken lately. I fear for social unrest. I fear for violence. I fear for suffering. For others mostly. Myself, yes. But really, for us all. I’m aware of how powerful that much evil is and worried about what’s to come.

I’m currently sick with god knows what. Possibly it. I went to the hospital once after fever and vomiting and chest pain but they laughed in my face. Gave me tamiflu and sent me on my way. I got it again two weeks later. The cough never left. My chest hurts. But I’m lucky and can medicate at home. This may be the year that I die. Who knows with this wild disease. But I’m not going to stop living.
