[AF2024] Modeling Process in a Nutshell

"I literally do just use the default cube in almost all of my models btw lol. I thought "my modeling process in a nutshell" was a good bit for an animation, but I may have gone too far in a few places lol.  Ended up remaking Plucky for the 3rd time now, and even experimented with stepped/keyframe only animation for this, mostly because I thought it would be funny. Which speaking of, I chose Ocelot for this simply for that, I thought she had a fun design, also because I wanted a bit of getting attacked and she just looked unhinged enough for that lol." - https://artfight.net/attack/6964955.3d-model-modeling-process-in-a-nutshell - Post Artfight Note: No yeah seriously the default cube get's cut, extruded, and stretched to hell in my modelling process lol. But aside from that, was fun to model a crazy looking Gardevoir inspired from a Nuzlocke run!

Rubik's cube (real life) vs Default cube (blender)

Rubik's cube:

i am a cuber and cubing has been the hobby keeping me sane

1) moveable. who doesn't want to mess with a cube, or solve it (restore order to the universe) 2) colourful. it can be so many colours!! red, yellow, white, blue, green, other secret colours I forgot to list out... 3) versatile. it can be 2x2 or 3x3 or 4x4 or ANYTHING if you're not a coward. which brings me to: 4) "know your enemy and know yourself, and you need not fear the results of a thousand battles." guess what? the rubik's cube can also be Not Cube! (scandalous) it can be tetrahedron! it can be dodecahedron! it can put your dnd dice to SHAME. yes thank you for listening vote rubik's cube please 🙏

thats the little pickle this fella is in!! and is now desperately trying to escape while also trying to figure out his former identity and also handling his somewhat chaotic social life... oh my.

he's a little arrogant and a teensy bit airheaded, but i swear he's a decent pal!!

he's aware he doesn't belong in the world he's in, but also doesn't know who or what he was before he came into the world he's in.

for all he knows he's just some cube. in a place.

also just a thing since i have already have posted him before and planning on posting more of him but i'll specify if i drew this guy specifically in the tags,, hopefully i think of something soon...

because i do like drawing the gd logo cube, but it doesn't mean that's him. he has a story and relationships and other stuff!!! i don't really associate him with the gd logo. or any cube i draw with an exact or similar appearance to him. he's just special to me like that.
