Enhancing Canine Well-being with Bully Sticks and Natural Dog Treats
In the realm of pet care, providing our furry companions with the best nutrition and treats is essential for their overall health and happiness. Among the myriad of options available, bully sticks for dogs and natural dog treats have gained immense popularity. These treats not only serve as delicious rewards but also contribute to the well-being of our canine friends. In this article, we will delve into the benefits of bully sticks, the importance of natural dog treats, and explore specific options like Canine Crinkles and dog training treats for puppies.
Bully Sticks for Dogs: Bully sticks, also known as pizzle sticks, are natural dog chews made from the pizzle (or penis) of bulls. While the source may seem unconventional, these treats are highly nutritious and offer numerous benefits for dogs. Bully sticks are rich in protein, low in fat, and free from artificial additives, making them a wholesome option for dogs of all sizes and breeds.
One of the key advantages of bully sticks is their dental benefits. Chewing on these sticks helps promote dental hygiene by reducing plaque and tartar buildup, preventing gum disease, and keeping your dog's teeth clean. Additionally, the act of chewing provides mental stimulation, alleviating boredom and anxiety in dogs.
Buy Natural Dog Treats: When it comes to choosing treats for our dogs, opting for natural options is crucial. Natural dog treats, as opposed to those filled with artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives, offer a more wholesome approach to canine nutrition. Natural treats are often made with simple, recognizable ingredients, ensuring that your dog receives the best quality snacks.
Natural dog treats come in a variety of flavors and textures, catering to the diverse preferences of our four-legged friends. Whether it's a crunchy biscuit or a chewy jerky, these treats are formulated to appeal to a dog's senses while providing nutritional benefits. When selecting natural treats, always check the ingredient list to ensure they align with your dog's dietary needs and restrictions.
Canine Crinkles Dog Treat: Canine Crinkles, a specific type of natural dog treat, have gained popularity for their unique texture and taste. These treats often incorporate a crinkly or crunchy element, providing dogs with a satisfying sensory experience. Canine Crinkles are typically made with high-quality, natural ingredients and are free from artificial additives.
The crinkly texture of these treats not only engages a dog's taste buds but also promotes dental health by encouraging chewing. Regular consumption of Canine Crinkles can help reduce plaque and tartar buildup, contributing to overall oral hygiene.
Dog Training Treats for Puppies: Training puppies is a crucial aspect of canine care, and using the right treats can make the process more effective and enjoyable. Dog training treats for puppies are designed to be small, flavorful, and easy to consume quickly. This encourages positive behavior reinforcement during training sessions.
Look for training treats that are high in protein and low in calories to maintain a balanced diet for your puppy. Additionally, opt for treats with natural ingredients to ensure that your puppy receives the best nutritional value while learning new commands and behaviors.
Conclusion: In the world of canine care, choosing the right treats is paramount to promoting the health and happiness of our dogs. Bully sticks for dogs, natural dog treats like Canine Crinkles, and specifically formulated dog training treats for puppies offer a range of benefits, from dental health to positive behavior reinforcement. By incorporating these treats into your dog's routine, you not only provide them with delicious rewards but also contribute to their overall well-being. Always prioritize natural, high-quality options to ensure that your furry friend receives the best care possible.

hi jason! sorry if youve answered this before, but what does aaoc stand for? i love the posts that you tag as such so im curious :]
its my tag for posts that remind me of my wip fic(s) !! i havent 100% settled on what to name the series yet but pretty early on in development i stumbled upon that passage by julian k jarboe (from the book everyone on the moon is essential personnel) that goes
Why does God create grapes and wheat, but not wine and bread? God does this because God wants us to share in the act of creation. To be how you made me, to become how God made me, though you, I can remake myself. You and I: we are already only whole, and shifting towards the divine.
and the author also has a tweet relating this concept to transsexuality and youve probably already seen one or both of these floating around on tumblr already but whatever i just wanted to center my t4t hannigram fic around these quotes cause theyre just. so good.
so yeah it stands for "an act of creation" except it should probably be "#taoc" if i wanted it to match the original quote but i cba to go and change it now which is probably not how placeholder tags are meant to work !! oh well . fic playlist <3
#sorry idk if u were asking me abt the tag in general or just the acronym but whatever . infodump time#i have not answered this ask before <3 i rarely get asks and even more rarely answer them 💀#ask#aaoc#i dont even know how much religious themes to include in the fic bc im like the worst person to attempt to write that (<- raised atheist)#but character wise it would only make sense and it would literally make the narrative so much more layered#anyways . some things that go in the tag:#autocannibalism + transsexuality as violence + transsexuality as cannibalism which is like . thesis statement#rural american towns/houses#wolf/dog symbolism + deer & antler symbolism + especially the two combined#literally any pictures of knives but especially those ones made of canine teeth or deer bones. or ones that just have swag gender vibes#knives r gonna be a big thing for young will and theyre basically his symbolic wolf teeth. but maybe fashioned out of whats left of the doe#and of course literally anything else that has to do with/reminds me of trans hannibal or trans will or t4t hannigram or dark!will#ditto with the characters' youths at any point in time since im writing backstories for both of em as well as a florence hannigram arc#and idk sometimes i just go by vibes. sometimes a post is hannigram but ever so slightly different so it must go in the tag#i seriously cant wait til school is over and i can finally go thru my tag and write scenes/notes of what every single post reminds me of#my thought process for the most recent one was just. gore goes on the hanniblog by default + androgyny = defiance of gender norms = aaoc#then it made me think of our convo abt hannibals relationship with japanese culture and also what would body horror be for young hannibal?#so yeah basically just things for my brain to chew on for inspiration#sorry abt the tag wall im normal abt this au (lying) and also just wanted to write down a list of things to tag for personal reference

Has anyone else noticed that in the past year, going to the internet for answers has become more and more difficult? Not too long ago these "FAQ blogs" started flooding search results in search engines that just collect frequently asked questions about any topic under the sun, and seemingly generate an answer to them using AI, because the sentences often don't make sense or only barely pass as something perhaps a non-native english speaker would write. They have a bunch of these questions and answers for a topic on one page and there's seemingly hundreds of websites with these nonsensical FAQs.
Like it's basically impossible to find useful answers to specific questions anymore unless you already know trustworthy sources that would happen to have what you're looking for. It's frustrating as hell to watch search engines become increasingly useless

Dog Deer Antlers Vs. Yak Chews: Which Natural Chew Reigns Supreme?
When it comes to providing our dogs with natural and long-lasting chew options, two popular choices often come to mind: deer antlers and yak-chewing dogs. Both of these Natural Dog Chews offer various benefits, but which one is the better option? Let’s compare and explore the qualities of each to find out.
Deer Antlers: Strength & Durability
Dog Deer Antlers, sourced from naturally shed antlers of deer, elk, or moose, are known for their strength and durability. The hard texture of antlers provides a satisfying chewing experience that can keep dogs engaged for extended periods.
Tumblr media
Yak Chews: Flavourful & Long-lasting
Yak chews, on the other hand, are made from the hardened cheese-like product derived from yak milk. They are known for their unique taste and aroma, which can be enticing to dogs. Yak chews are also long-lasting, offering hours of chewing pleasure and keeping dogs entertained.
Safety & Dental Benefits Of Both Chewing Treats
Both Dog Deer Antlers and Yak Chews have safety advantages. Antlers are less likely to splinter, reducing the risk of choking or blockages. Yak chews are softer and more digestible, making them suitable for dogs with sensitive teeth or digestion. In terms of dental benefits, both options help maintain oral health by reducing plaque and tartar build-up through chewing.
Conclusion
The choice of the best Natural Dog Chews between deer antlers and yak chews depends on individual dog preferences and needs. Both options offer natural, long-lasting, and dental benefits. Try both to see which one your dog prefers. Providing a safe and appropriate natural chew keeps your furry friend happy, entertained, and satisfied.

Ok! I’m the one that made the siren request! When I said hunting I meant like, giant whales and sharks
so reader brings the characters whales and sharks now that they are officially together
-Ask anyone about hunting and they will answer with things like deer, elk, moose, and ducks to name a few, that’s what (Love) thought about when someone asked him about what to hunt.
-When you started given him shells and other gifts, courting him, and after he accepted, you discussed hunting with him, as potential mates and partners would hunt for each other, to show that they are a provider.
-This made sense to him, finding it logical, as one wouldn’t want to be stuck with someone who didn’t provide or do anything to contribute to the relationship and you both agreed to go hunting and he would treat you to something called barbeque. You didn’t know what it was, but you saw the way his eyes lit up, so you knew it had to be something special.
-So that meant that you had to find him something super special!!
-When (Love) arrived at the beach and began to prepare a bonfire for the barbeque, dragging a buck behind him, he could only drop everything, gawking as you were beaming brightly, draped over the body of a massive, as in 16-foot-long, great white shark, the results of your own hunting trip.
-He couldn’t believe what he was seeing, approaching and you had bright sparkly eyes, seeing the buck, as you wanted to see what those strange things coming out of its head was.
-(Love) couldn’t help but laugh as he dragged the buck over and you both got to inspect each other’s kills, he looked in the mouth of the shark, seeing all the teeth, in awe, while you were stroking the antlers, finding them rough and they felt like nothing you had ever felt before!
-(Love) hesitated, not wanting to offend you, before asking about siren hunting, curious about the things that you normally hunted.
-You beamed brightly, telling him that your preferred prey items were crustaceans, as you loved crabs, and you liked larger fish with more meat, like tuna. However, there were certain things you didn’t hunt, dolphins, who actually were like dogs to you as dogs are to normal humans, and they help you hunt and turtles, because their taste wasn’t good, but you did scavenge, when the turtles passed away, their shells, as they were very beautiful and useful tools, and you did something similar to whales, scavenging for their bones, as they made strong weapons and tools.
-You made (Love) laugh when he asked if you ate whale meat and you made a face before you explained, “Whale meat is very fatty, as it’s very cold where they are. Most of their meat has a very thick layer of blubber over the top and if you cut that away, all that’s left is thin muscular meat that is very hard to chew, unless if you’re a shark.”
-He started the barbeque and you started breaking down your shark, pulling back the skin and getting to the meat as he told you about things that he hunted, like the buck and you were amazed at the diversity of game on the surface, to you at least since you were used to everything in the ocean, which was mundane to you but amazing to (Love).
-You were more elated to be gifted the antlers rather than the barbequed meat, holding them up and (Love) roared with laughter when he showed you that they floated, which would make them a little difficult to take down to your own home.
-You were both in awe of your different catches, the buck was lean but so flavorful, so unlike anything you had ever had before, “It’s a bit chewy but so juicy!” and he nodded, biting into a piece of grilled shark, “It looked fatty so I thought it was going to be greasy- but it’s not greasy at all- it’s almost like lean salmon!”
-The two of you enjoyed your meals, laughing and spending time with each other, having proved that you are both providers and it made you smile, thinking about what kind of father he would be in the future, but you weren’t going to rush anytime soon, at least just yet.

a little horror piece i wrote
cw: blood, a description of a dead body, a mention of cannibalism for a second
I have had a fascination with the forest since early childhood. My parents took me there to pick berries and mushrooms every autumn and those were my happiest moments back then. So, when it was time to go again, right after my eleventh birthday, I was ecstatic.
It was truly a beautiful sight. Red and yellow leaves a blanket on the wet, cold ground, lush tree crowns of gold and bronze shining in the morning sun. I loved the way air smelled then, of dump grass and fresh dirt, of bark and pine.
You need to be covered head to toe in thick clothes to protect you from mite and thorns, so you walk and move slowly. It's not very cold this time of year, but after hours and hours outside your cheeks and nose become pink and itchy. Well, as a child I didn't care about anything other than getting my basket full of the best mushrooms I could find and eating as much berries as possible. Nothing could convince me it was time to head home. Nowadays you can't pay me enough to spend even a minute in the woods.
We were far from the only family there, now and again I saw someone pass by, sometimes even with dogs, which I liked very much as a kid. I remember telling my parents that we should get a dog, too, so it can protect us from wild animals, which only made them chuckle.
I don't really remember how I got lost. After so many years I might have imagined so many details that weren't even there, so many thoughts and feelings that I retroactively assigned to a child who just wandered off into the woods. However, when I think of that time, all that comes to mind is that I felt compelled to see where a path hidden between two wide tree trunks would lead me. I walked and walked until I almost reached a clearing and stopped, frozen in place. Only then I noticed a rhythmic, moist sound of chewing. A sudden gust of wind brought a metallic smell of blood and meat with it. There was something big and moving behind the last row of trees. I held my breath and covered my mouth with my hand. Dad taught me that you should never run or scare a hungry wild animal, so I stayed put, refusing to even take a peek. I could feel my heart pumping blood in my temples, my hands and legs shaking with every escaping gasp as the sound of tearing flesh came again and again. I didn't cry. I was too focused on surviving.
But after a long, long time I couldn't take it anymore. I looked. What was before me did not look like any real animal but every description I gave made adults sure it was an elk. It was massive, with giant deer antlers, its limbs smooth and dark, stretched and bent in unnatural ways. But I can swear that its face didn't look like anything I've seen before. It's neck twisted to reveal a flat, round muzzle with big black eyes staring straight into my soul. I stared back. With every passing second my heart accelerated and I was ready for it to stop for good. But the creature made a few small steps away, as if inviting me to feast together. This was when I saw its prey.
It was a hunter, with his chest torn open, a gun still lying on the ground near him. I gulped and shook my head. The creature looked at me and tilted its head to the side like a curious puppy. I did the same, hoping it would think I was a friend. Somehow, it worked. It continued its feast without me, only pausing sometimes to look at me. Like it was asking if I'm sure I don't want to join.
When my legs started to ache and only the skeleton was left from the poor guy, it left, turning its head one last time to look at me. I fell to the ground and wept for what seemed like hours until I felt like there was nothing to cry with anymore. I got up and went back where I came from, my legs shaking. But when I heard the voices and finally found my way to the main path, my parents weren't scared at all.
“What, you saw something interesting in the bushes?” Mom asked.
I nodded. And dragged myself after them for hours. Red berries made me want to throw up, mushrooms reminded me of skin and flesh, and I was throwing up for days without any reason, which made my parents scared that I ate the wrong mushroom. And even after the doctors said I was fine, they decided this was our last trip to the forest.
Of course, I wasn't going to argue with that.

Grrrgrr biting dio and nomming him >:3
But its not my faulttt..im just little puppy. Not ben taught to not bite much...
Plus im so bitey
Nomming him and all the furniture >:33 hehehehe
(Thankful)
Biting Dio doesn't truly hurt him-- he's a vampire who once got sliced in half, and hardly flinched. Puppy bites don't hurt at all!
But still, a good dog shouldn't bite furniture. Dio would be very disappointed to see you don't like any of your chew toys or balls enough to chew those instead of his antique silk shea lounge with the original upholstering... Are they not to your liking, little one?
Why don't you go browse the pet store aisles with Vanilla Ice and buy some chew toys you'll actually use; Papa doesn't want you to chew something too old and wreck it (and you). His asbestos furniture is strictly off-limits to you.
Dio gets you naturally shed deer antlers to chew if hard items are so much more appealing than silicone. Cut into smaller pieces, you can tuck a stick of antler into your pocket and bring it out again when you want it! Or, more likely, when you're biting his furniture or his skin, Dio can distract you with a deer antler.

i think torgal is the type to start crying and whining like no dog has before when clive and his spouse are making chocolate (he can even tell they’re heart shaped… why doesn’t he get one!) but it would actually kill him. it’s like those photos of cats being held back by their whole head to get a pizza slice but torgal is so intent on eating the thing that will send him to an early grave
(lady hound knows better and she’s using the opportunity to get into torgal’s deer antler supply via charon)
You have to pry Torgal’s jaws open when you notice one of your chocolates is missing, and Torgal is strangely silent. He bites at the water as you’re flushing his mouth clean, not quite understanding that this is for his own good and that you don’t want him to die. (He still thinks you’re punishing him.)
Lady Hound is watching this all go down while chewing on an antler.

Carlos went hunting. He gives Alastor the legs, a haunch, and head of a Hell Deer he found. He also gives him some spare antlers he has no use for. Good for chewing, he's heard from people who owned dogs, but he won't tell Alastor that.
He better not that'd make Alastor very upset.
Tumblr media
"Why, thank you, all of this for me? What did I do to deserve all those gifts?" he seemed pretty happy with it all though, don't stop there folks!

I had to wash Chili's dog bed (a thing I've done many times) cause it was getting nasty from her chewing deer antler on it. As it was getting washed, instead of hopping onto the couch that is basically hers, Chili instead spent 20 minutes staring at me sadly from the floor before curling up into the saddest, most pathetic ball on the corner of the rug (all of which was available for her to use as well) so half of her was on the flooring.
Just absolutely resigned to her life as a floor dog. Papa has taken bed. No choice but the cold hard floor for poor neglected Chili.

don’t deer antlers have velvet on them? that texture in the mouth would be awfulll 😭😭
well it depends!! antlers grow annually, so at the beginning of the growth they do have velvet!! after a few weeks? i think? the velvet begins to shed off, leaving the antler surface in similar texture to bone or teeth, and then even later the antlers shed off of the deer skull, at which point they make really good chew toys for dogs!! some people cut the antlers into pieces to make it more manageable depending on the size of the dog, but doing so exposes the marrow of the antler, which is a loft softer / more “dissolvable” and if your dog is a really intense chewer then the antler won’t last as long because that makes it easier to chew through

A buddy and I have hundreds of deer antler sheds from over the years of collecting and we have decided to cut them up and make dog chews. My dogs haven’t quit chewing on the ones I made for them so far. Was wondering if anyone would be interested in buying some. Could ship.
