A: Decamber is a month long creativity project, similar to other prompt based events, but focused around the Deca.

Q: What can I submit?

A: Anything! Art, writing, really whatever you like doing, as long as it’s your own work. This means no art theft, no tracing, no AI, etc.

Q: Do I have to do it every day?

A: Nope! This is 0 stress. You can do as many as you’d like, even if that just means doing one.

This begins December 1st! Tag all your work “Decamber 2024.” Can’t wait to see it all!

Hi, DecAmber here. Umm so, I like doodling, reading books/light novels/web novels & also I write poems too so if you guys decide to stuck with me & if I feel like it then I might post some poems.

Umm and yea I'm not a native English speaker(Nepali here) so I'll surely make some mistakes here and there(I'm still learning and trying to be gentle to myself about it).

Let me clarify. Caesar did change the calendar, but mainly because astronomers discovered that there are 12 new moons and 365 days in a year, and pointed out the importance of having a leap year to synchronize the seasons.He also moved the beginning of the year from spring to winter, January, so that the year began at the same time as the consuls took office.

I am clearly very tired already, because I have been staring at this ask for a considerable moment, wondering how did nobody notice 12 brand new large and shiny celestial bodies in the sky.

This calendar reform makes sense, knowing this additional information. Still, naming a whole period of time time after oneself seems a bit excessive.
