REUNION :  for one muse to run into the other again after a long time. (for dean from sam!)

One is rarely seen without the other but as of late, with the recent rise in demon possessions and all kinds of other nasty shit, they had decided hunting separately for a bit might be the best thing.

Except with every passing day, Dean misses Sam. He misses him having his back, misses that stupid smile, and even his nerdy ass rants so when he'd finally run into him again working a case after only contacting via text for what feels like forever, Dean nearly laughs in joy.

Instead, he swiftly crosses the distance between the both to wrap his arms around Sam in a hug. He's not the touchy feel-y type so the hug doesn't last long but when he pulls away from him, his lips curl up in a grin. "It's good to see you, man." This hunting separately thing is getting ridiculous, Dean thinks. "I'm beginning to think we should just stick together. You and me, how it's always been."

There are some cases that hit home more than others. Some that hit rougher. He has to remind himself that you don't always win. That not every life will be saved but that doesn't mean some cases don't sting like hell.

He'd been so close too. So close to saving that poor son of a bitch before his life got ripped away from him. So, yeah, he's drinking, and he wants to be left the hell alone.

But of course Sam doesn't leave him alone. Maybe he should be thankful but all Dean wants to do is lose himself in the whiskey he's drinking. Straight from the bottle, too. He plans on finishing the thing off, there's no need for a glass.

I feel like Sam could say something like, "Cas don't be ridiculous, Dean almost tried to kill himself while you were dead" in response to Cas questioning his worth during a domestic with Dean, and Cas would go, "What? Why? Did something happen?" And Sam would count mentally to ten and make his bitchface and then mutter something like "You two deserve each other."

The way when he moves when he’s grabbed by the collar like a good boy, he immediately stops what he’s doing no matter how he strongly feels about the situation, even when he could easily overpower Dean physically since he’s bigger than him; but he doesn’t… because he knows Dean has corrected him and that he needs to be put back into his place where he belongs. To let Dean handle it.

The reason wincest WORKS and is valid and the people who like it are not insane/incestuous (even though some losers *read hellers* may disagree) is solely because of jared and jensen and THEIR dynamic and the energy they put into THEIR characters.

Anyone who has siblings can attest to the fact that regular run-of-the-mill normal siblings do not act like Sam/Dean in any way. Not even close. Canon salmondean relationship weirdness/gencest/weirdcest crawled so that fanon wincest could walk. Why is this hard to wrap your head around. People who enjoy/ship wincest are not gross incestuous fucks. They are people who read into the subtext (and sometimes even the in-your-face text) on a Gothic horror show about Super Weird brothers cruising through the American country to kill things that go bump in the night.

Because really, do you and your brother/sister run around doing absolutely everything together? Do you self insert yourself into your sibling's life because you want to have the absolute final say about their actions and decisions?? Forsake multiple romantic relationships in favour of being with each other??? Coop up, isolate yourselves and play house with each other and compare yourselves to married couples/people in relationships???? because if you do, YOU ARE WEIRD much like sam and dean.

Real non-incestuous siblings are usually Normal About Each Other. Get that through your thick skull.

Cas really read dean to filth within an inch of his LIFE three (3) minutes after meeting him (What's the matter? A hunt gone wrong. Just when Dean assumes they are in the clear with the threat gone, Sam moves forward towards him only to collapse in his arms.

"Sam?!" His arms are instant to catch him and he stumbles back. They both go down, Dean cradling Sam as his knees hit the ground, hand protectively placed under Sam's head so that he doesn't hit his head against cold ground in the process.

After gently laying Sam down on the ground, worried green eyes scan over his entire form. "Sam? Sammy? C'mon, talk to me man, what's wrong. I-I can't see anything. What's wrong?" His hands move to grasp at clothing in an attempt to pull Sam's shirt up in case he's bleeding and Dean just doesn't see it through the clothing.
