"Tick Tock" ...this song I wrote in 2008 before #tiktok was a thing.

Yeah, I used to write and sing and play my days away until that old storm came and brought the rain. Haven't been able to break the rain ever since. Been kinda depressed, been kinda downtrodden, been kinda blue, but I digress...only one way to change all that...by being true to yourself and having the courage to forgive and forget.

Forgiving yourself and forgetting all the mistakes you made, allowing yourself to grow and learn a new way. You can't be good for anyone else until you're good for yourself. Love starts from within.

It takes courage and strength to fight the battles of life...the temptation, the sin. It takes patience and endurance to be victorious and stand tall to claim your win. It takes time and determination and dedication to boot, it takes you having the confidence to believe in you. Not what others think, or what they think you can do, but what you prove you can do by living your truth. By following the path before you and answering the call of your destiny.

No time for hating when you could be creating the life you wanna live. No time for sleepin' when you could be dreamin' about all the things you never did. No time for wastin' when you could be making all those dreams come true. So slay the day and slay the gray and surely you'll slay the blue. Then, you'll begin to see the joy from living your truth. I made this from a photo I snapped of the reflection of fairy lights on a shiny tabletop surface. Added digital color enhancements, cosmic effects, words, and a little x. And that’s it. My design. The extra spice in this flavorful visual display is blueish/teal and purple are my two favorite colors.
