Blake: (signing to Yang)
Yang: Okay, I think I got this! (Struggles to make same signs using one hand and fails gloriously)
Blake: (laughing so hard that she's crying)
Weiss: (wearing protective eyewear) Ruby, what's going on?
Ruby: Yang’s trying to learn Sign Language.
Weiss: Sign language?
Ruby: Yup!
Weiss: The amputee is learning Sign Language?
Ruby: From Blake.
Weiss: From the mute, deaf girl.
Ruby: Hey, it could be worse. Blake could be trying to teach you.
Weiss: ......
Ruby: Too far?
Weiss: I'll let you decide. (Grabs her cane and walks up the small set of steps)
Ruby: Weiss! (Rolls wheelchair over to the steps) Come on! That's not fair!

Also I totally forgot about this until I saw something on FB but…
Ryan and Blake had a plantation wedding in South Carolina way back in 2012 when it was cool and chic to do that. The old slave cabins were even part of some of their photos. 🤦♀️
And remember when Blake tried to launch her own form of Goop? I think she called it Preserve, something uppity like that. Anyway, the lifestyle brand had a newsletter that she called…wait for it: Allure of the Antebellum, in which she essentially romanticized female slave owners. Here’s a good recap from Vox:
🤦♀️ 🤦♀️
So people immediately started calling Blake out for her casual racism and she shut down Preserve not much longer after citing lack of interest (because her products were ridiculously overpriced…sound familiar?) but an ad analysis brand found that Blake lost her audience because she was so tone-deaf in that newsletter. (And also just last year, in 2023, Blake made comments loaning about how “hurtful press coverage” made her shut down her company. Jeez, it’s like looking in a crystal ball.)
Anyway, she and Ryan were able to sweep this under the rug for a lil bit. Till Ryan made his own tone-deaf comments about Black Panther, something to the effect of “congrats on being the first blockbuster with a Black superhero” and got slammed for it on Twitter with a bunch of people calling him out for having had a plantation wedding.
So then fast forward 2 years. It’s the summer of George Floyd protests and privilege (or the lack thereof) is being reckoned with. In May 2020, they make a $20,000 donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, along with a statement saying "We're ashamed that in the past we've allowed ourselves to be uninformed about how deeply rooted systemic racism is.”
But they get dragged for filth about having a plantation wedding and finally, three months later in August, Ryan issued a formal apology saying:“It’s something we’ll always be deeply and unreservedly sorry for. It’s impossible to reconcile. What we saw at the time was a wedding venue on Pinterest. What we saw after was a place built upon devastating tragedy.” He then went on to say they got married again at home some years later because “shame works in weird ways.” 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
I don’t know. Here’s a thought. Maybe if you’re planning a wedding whose photos you’re going to sell to magazines later, maaaaaybe you should’ve done a tour of the place you found on Pinterest to see the warts they don’t talk about on social media before committing. Just a bit of advice for next time, Ryan.
So yeah. This has been, I’m sure, a great few days for Ryan and Blake, with all this dirt coming up.
All because Blake decided to make her movie’s promo tour Barbie 2.0. You know, I saw a thing on social media this afternoon that she and her squad were telling people to have a girl’s night out to see the movie and dress up in florals and bring flowers to share like they’re Taylor Swift friendship bracelets. 🤦♀️ 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
And this is on top of Colleen Hoover deciding to make a coloring book companion for her novel. A coloring book, y’all. Thankfully she listened to the backlash and canceled it.
Also, putting a tag on these posts now so if anyone is uninterested, you can block and mute it.

I'm deep in a CM rewatch and just hit S08E01 which means - yay Blake, booh no Emily.
Also I was just reminded of how cringey Blake's first info-dump while they deliver a profile is. Like, I know procedurals don't always take a lot of care to get their science babble accurate, but they're trying so hard to make her this linguistics wiz and they fail so badly. Like, 0/10 points at making her sound... anything, really. We start with her claiming:
Unsub can't be mute because he knows IPA, which is kinda like saying if you can read sheet music you must be a good singer. Except even less logically connected.
Then a quick follow-up with:
Since he knows IPA he can't be deaf, which is maybe the soundest thing here but still mostly nonsense because deafness is a spectrum, you can lose your hearing later in life after having already learned IPA, and (depending a bit on what he actually writes about IPA) he could possibly just have some theoretical knowledge of it w/o practical experience of sounds.
Since he probably isn't deaf he can't be mute, which is just... she should know better.
and finally, and most nonsensically:
People who are smart enough to know IPA are "usually proficient in sign language", which is rather like saying people who are good at knitting are usually good at roller-skating. What the what? It just doesn't make sense as a statement or a logical conclusion. Like, sign language is a language. It's like saying "people who know IPA usually speak good French". Why? Why would they? Where's the connection?
Like, I get that they're trying to get the audience to lean toward the unsub being deaf and a signer, but that would've been so easily done by just saying "well, his writing shows he has the linguistic capacity to express himself well even though he doesn't speak, so it might be that he's deaf and the prison just didn't know that because he's a John Doe, and if he's deaf there's a decent chance he signs". Without all this nonsense. I feel like even laypeople must've raised eyebrows at that scene.
Anyway Blake deserved better fact-checking.

Honestly, Blake coming from a sheltered and privileged background would actually allow the audience to have a kinder interpretation of her character, because at least her muted response to faunus treatment during the Atlas arc could get chalked up as coming from a place of ignorance instead of indifferent callousness. Because as it stands, having Blake act as the neutral POV character to the faunus plot line would suggest either that the racism in RWBY isn’t so bad that it can’t be brushed aside, or that the people writing RWBY don’t think racism is a big deal.
I think it's always a disconnect because of how Blake was introduced and her character in the first three volumes. There was nothing there that suggested that she actually lived in a cozy mansion with two living and loving parents, especially with how she painted her oh so tragic life before coming to Beacon.
Yes, Blake had seen things when with the White Fang. No, she shouldn't have been exposed to such violence by her neglectful parents who didn't even come to Beacon when her very much visibly alive daughter was on international television. But these do not erase Blake's privilege amongst all the known Faunus characters of the show, and having her as the face of the "right" way to protest for your rights while demonising racial trauma and backlash towards racialised violence and oppression is tone deaf at the very best.
These white writers, and Monty isn't excempt from this anti black writing, decided that the character we should stand behind is a pale skinned, pretty girl with a rich background and loving family while demonising the child slave who was branded in a way that they just straight up stole from irl black slaves in their own country.
A marginalised character who is lucky to have lived a relatively priviliged life compared to her peers, coming to realise her privilege, and move forward in a story that shows that even those who belong in the same group as us will not have the same experiences and can even perpertrate in the oppression of our people, is a good story. It's nuanced and reflects a story that does very well happen.
But Blake is not that character, and unless they change that from the very beginning, her character is just bad when looked at beyond the surface.

8x01.
Oh, this sunshine. <3
Dave and Aaron so casually arriving at work together? Okay then. Work husbands, real life husbands.
That very quick little smile and the nod at Dave's remark.
Husbands are, like always, positioned together. <3
A quote at the beginning that Aaron says: "As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do." — Andrew Carnegie
Aka Hotch watching David and noticing and appreciating his love for him?
And at the end: "A man is known by the silence he keeps." — Oliver Herford
That is so... Aaron. And Dave, sometimes, too. I'd love to write for them. Just gotta know the whole story.
Husbands sitting together? I am digging this beginning.
Another season, another "I love it when parents and their son work together".
When the killed talked in sign language with Blake, I felt for him. The pain he felt. Yes, not an excuse, but the horrendous things his mother did to him & turned him into a killer. He just wanted silence and peace. And for his mother to love him. I'm sad for him. I would've expected them to arrest him, take out the implant to give him some peace, and maybe it would've been a bit better. Even though in prison, a place where he didn't want to be. :( Either way, I have feelings about this case.
Also, I think it would've been nice to have a mute/deaf main character on the team. To see how everyone else would communicate with them and. Embrace that disability & learning how to make the environment more friendly for their friend.
Dave is IMMEDIATELY out of there. Honestly, I'd say he deserve his retirement, but he's such a workaholic, he wouldn't be able to settle down for years to come. Dave, I love you, with/despite all your quirks. Also, Spencer's smile. Seriously, he is Dave and Aaron's son. <3
Overall, I didn't see anything criminal in Blake. However, I did dislike how she cut Morgan short when giving the profile, "Dr. Reid and I are coming up with theories, you're welcome to join us." You're working in a team now. You should share with the team and share the information that might help to catch the killed with the police. Dave, too, was working for himself only at first, but I hope she changes her ways.
She's like... way too official and trying to show her skills? I know Spencer does it too, but he does it because that's how his brain works. He focuses on things he's interested in and he reads a lot because his brain forces him to. She's different in that sense. I hope she doesn't turn out to be the annoying Know-It-All.
Again, overall, she isn't as bad as it could've been. I miss Emily, but I like that it's another woman in at least her mid forties (and Emily has her own team to rule?? You go, queen!) She doesn't seem to be arrogant. She's smart (not like Seaver, lol, I wouldn't be able to stand another Seaver). I'll see how it goes, but that's definitely not the worst addition to the team. And I'm glad she speaks sign language.

Mercury, how did you react when Blake came up to your face, telling you off for being a jerk to Yang, the Faunus clearly unaware how you treat girls like her?
"How I reacted? About as you expect. All it takes for Faunus girls to submit is to show them who's boss. And they'll come back crawling every time." The young man said, making the cat girl choke on his prick. "Little Blakey here was mad I was mean to her little partner... Ain't that adorable? And now look at her, thirsty for milk after a few dick slaps on the face." Black mocked the girl on her knees. The humiliating words falling on deaf ears. Her cock addiction having become too strong to even think of a witty retort. Muted purrs of pleasure vibrating against the cock in her mouth. As his fingers played mindlessly with her cute cat ears. "Truly adorable... I wonder what Blondie will think if she sees you like that? Her best friend and partner, slobbering all over my cock after I humiliated her in public. Maybe I should take a quick pic for the occasion..." Blake once again ignored his words as he took his Scroll out. Not fighting off the fact that Mercury was gathering blackmail material right in front of her. Telling herself subconsciously, she'll deal with it after drinking his cum. Not realizing what Mercury had in store for her. "Smile for the camera Blake. Or as much as you can, at least. Just gonna send it to Emerald first, she'll get a laugh outta this one. We're going to have so much fun together... Maybe I'll make Yang join in too, if all the girls of team RWBY are as big as sluts as you are."

let’s talk about Blake Blachert, shall we?
i must be so bored that i’ve stooped so low to watch shitty youtubers.
Blake Blachert is a pretty shitty youtuber.
he’s a downbeat bum with no real job who lives in his car and drives cross country to play pranks on staff working at various stores as well as their unsuspecting customers.
supposedly people think this is entertainment.
there is nothing remotely entertaining about a guy who’s never worked a real job in his life who feels the need to pester people working 40 hours a week and making minimum wage. like, they work hard enough without some dumbass coming to bother them at work for some youtube views.
he’s obviously never worked customer service. it’s bad enough we retail workers have to put up with shitty customers on a daily basis without the added bullshit of a youtuber. like, we don’t get paid enough to put up with that and you wonder why half the people featured in his videos (against their will, i might add) become so disgruntled.
he claims to spread ‘’positivity’’ in his videos but all he does is annoy people to no end to a point where people start attacking him and cussing him out because he won’t leave them alone.
there’s nothing wrong with harmless fun and harmless pranks but he goes too far.
it’s store policy that you can’t film inside because it’s technically private property and tho filming inside a store is not technically ‘’illegal,’’ the store has every right to decide what you can and cannot do inside their store and they reserve the right to remove you from their premises if they feel you are violating store policy.
Blake actually did get forcibly removed from a HOME DEPOT by a police officer because a customer felt intimidated and did not want to be filmed. Blake refused to respect the wishes of the customer and continued to invade their privacy and staff called police who informed him that filming was not technically illegal but the store had the right to decide what he could do and wanted him to leave.
he gets booted out of every store in the first 5 or 10 minutes of walking in for not even making an effort to conceal the camera, to which he always comes up with the lame punchline that, ‘’oh he [the camera man] is not filming, he’s CoMpUtInG.’’
Blake always underestimates the intelligence of the people he’s pranking. dude, c’mon, it’s 2022, do you think people have never seen a camera before or know what filming looks like?
they ask him nicely over and over, ‘’please stop filming’’ and he won’t.
sometimes he’ll pretend his camera man is deaf and mute, which is also very lame.
he never fools the people he’s attempting to prank because they’re a lot smarter than he gives them credit for.
he’ll also repeat questions back at them, like once he walked into an art gallery or something and inquired if the jewelry in the gift shop was an ‘’artifact.’’
the saleslady simply replied, ‘’sir, this is jewelry, recently made. it’s modern. it’s not an artifact.’’
he goes, ‘’oh those are really cool artifacts.’’
‘‘sir, it’s jewelry, it’s not an artifact.’‘
and it’ll just go on and on like that. he thinks he’s being cute and funny when he’s just being annoying.
the problem with videos like these is that the majority of his fanbase will be young kids and teens who don’t know any better and will use this grown ass man as a role model for how they might act in public (which is extremely immature, by the way).
other youtubers have done similar videos and so rather than spreading ‘’positivity’’ and appreciating the hard work of customer service or sales associates, videos like these end up spreading negativity.
maybe some people won’t mind being pestered at work like this but i know i sure won’t like it.
and if Blake ever walked into my store, i’d cut off his balls and shove them down his throat.

Be My Eyes
Requested by lemonypink via my ask box: I was wondering if I could make a request? Maybe it’s a Spencer Reid/Matthew Gray Gubler x reader (gender neutral) and the reader has a disability (mute/blind/deaf/whatever) and he’s assisting them through it.
I was inspired by a TikTok I saw about this app called Be My Eyes, which connects seeing people with blind individuals in order to help with daily tasks. I thought it'd be cute to write a little fic inspired by it. :) Also, for the sake of simplicity I won't be describing all of the intricacies of using a cell phone as a blind person (i.e. voice commands, text to speech, etc.). Just imagine it's there! As seen in the request, reader in gender neutral. Also trying writing in first person this time rather than second, so please bear with me. Phew, that was a lot. On to the fic!
Title: Be My Eyes Pairing: Reid x Reader Rating: K+ Words: 715 Warnings: Reader is blind in this fic. Nothing else I can think of.
My fingers ran over the edge of the stack of mail I had retrieved from the mailbox after work. There were eight envelopes if I was counting right. I sighed, picked up my phone and sent a text to Spencer.
Are you free? Need help with mail.
Realistically, the stack could wait. It wasn't likely any important mail was coming in today or even this week. Spencer was on a case, so I felt a little selfish asking him to help me with such a menial task. It had been a long couple of days without him in the apartment, so I brushed it aside. I'm sure he wanted an excuse to talk to me, too, but if he couldn't help I always understood.
I put on an audiobook and leaned back into the leather couch. I called for Dallas (my guide dog) and he immediately came running to lay at my feet. As the chapter I was listening to was ending, the narrator was interrupted by my ringtone for Spencer. I picked up immediately. "Hey you," I answered, holding my phone up in front of me. "How's the case going? Dallas and I miss you." I pointed my phone down towards my feet.
"It's done," he replied. "We arrested him earlier today, and we should be on the jet home here in a couple hours." I could hear the smile in his voice. "Emily is finishing up some paperwork with the local PD."
"That's great to hear." I smiled. "Now onto the really important stuff," I joked. "The mail." I set the stack on my lap. "You ready, Spence? Rapid fire coming your way."
"Y/N, I can read 20,000 words a second. I'm always ready for rapid fire mail-sorting." I let out a breathy laugh and held up the first envelope. "Bill for me," he said immediately. Next envelope. "Letter for me from Blake." The next envelope was much bigger and had a glossy finish. He hesitated for a moment, and I was confused. "Well, Y/N, it looks like you've won a free cruise in the Meditteranean. And all you have to do is provide your social security number."
"Oh, great," I huffed sarcastically. Spencer always tried to make these repetitive tasks fun when he could, and I loved him all the more for it.
The next envelopes were almost all bills, but the last envelope I held up got Spencer's attention It was a thicker envelope, and I could tell there was bubble wrap on the inside. "Oh, it's another package from Garcia. Do you want me to read it?"
"Sure," I responded, setting my phone down on the couch next to me to carefully tear open the package. Garcia always wrote letters or cards, and made sure to put several adornments on the paper to give me something to physically feel in addition to her words, hence the more protective package. The first thing I pulled out of the bag was a circular, knit piece. I held it up to the camera for Reid to identify.
"It's a potholder," he explained. "It's multicolor, like a rainbow." I pulled a card out of the envelope, and immediately felt the texture of glitter and craft pom-poms. "Oh god, the glitter," Spencer groaned. "I don't know what I was hoping for. I hope it doesn't get everywhere. Go ahead and open it up."
He began reading. "Y/N, I am sending this card in hopes that this case is wrapping up and you, Reid, and I will be able to get dinner sometime soon. I know you're reading this Spencer, so don't worry-- the glitter is mod-podged down so it will not go everywhere in your apartment." He paused to chuckle. "Although you know how glitter is; a few stray flecks may be stuck in Dallas' fur for eternity." I laughed at that one. "Sending my love in the form of this potholder. Call me soon. Love, Penelope G."
"That's so sweet of her," I gushed. "You know, maybe we could have that dinner at our place. We'd have a good reason to use that potholder."
"I love that idea," Spencer agreed. "I'm so excited to see you Y/N. Hopefully I'll be home sometime early in the morning."
"Can't wait." I smiled. "See you soon Spence!"

Three Irish Brothers by Sienna Blake
Series: A Quick & Dirty Novel, #1 Read time: 1 Day Rating: 5/5
The quote: “You don’t have to put up with shit like that, you know?” Aiden shrugs. “It’s hard when I can’t tell them what I think of them.” “There is a universal nonverbal response to people like that that even she’d understand.” “What’s that?” I stick up both my middle fingers. - Savannah Wolff & Aiden O’Callaghan (import note Aiden is deaf)
Three Irish Brothers is a character-driven book, there is a satisfying amount of physical intimacy but there is a large focus on healing and emotional intimacy. Part of the blurb for the book reads "this is a sexy yet emotional reverse-harem romance" that is pretty much the best description for it.
Savannah is brilliant and relatable, there is enough blank there that she can be what you need but she is also strong and she fights her attraction. The brothers are brilliant. Their diversity is wonderful to read and Aiden pain was palpable, his muteness cleverly done. It is just good writing. There is a plot, the plot is important and this is one polyandry relationship with some realism. Moving into a polyandrous relationship is suggested by the man who is the thinker, the one who holds everyone together and one of his brothers is truly reluctant to do it. There is also both sexual and emotional jealousy at times.
Quick & Dirty is right I read Three Irish Brothers in a few hours. I'm looking forward to reading what is next in the series. I really hope we get to meet Evelyn's men, find out what lead her to the point where the O’Callaghan brothers and Savannah meet her, she was a fascinating character and any men who can be with her are worth it.
Goodreads (contains a spoiler)
Side note: I want to say one thing I've never thought to say about reverse harem/ polyandry (not the same thing I know but when written they both talk about this), there is so much positivity in the genre. Sex positivity, body positivity and love is love. I've read a bit recently can the relationships are diverse, the protagonists are diverse but they all send positive messages to the reader. Be you, be happy, live life kind of messages that are sometimes missing from fiction.

Silence in Atlas 4/?
This is darkest thing I've ever written. I know I say this at the start of every chapter but this time I'm really serious. If you are triggered by ANY KIND of violent event check the end of the post before reading for a more detailed warning. Things will get worse before they get better.
--------------------------
“So this is supposed to be your last day here with us, kitten” the man said, still looking her in the eyes. “I need to make sure you have no willpower left so that you will obey your new owners” Her body tensed. What was that even supposed to mean?
That was when she realized the man had something in his hands.
The pain was sharp, but not as intense as the electricity. She was used to getting hit in combat. Her aura could protect her from this. Not like with the collar. The man hit her again with the bat and she could feel the barbed wire wrapped around it scratching her skin.
“Looks like this won’t work with you” he smiled “You are pretty strong, kitten. Guess we’ll have to do this the hard way”.
Click. Click. Click. She thought she knew what pain was. She was wrong. Nothing could be called pain in comparison to what she was feeling after those three fucking clicks. The electricity was so intense she could feel the veins in her eyes breaking and her heart beating in her ears. When it stopped she could feel her aura depleting.
“Okey. Now we can play my game” the man said as he started beating her with the bat. Blake had nothing left in her. She just wanted this to be over. She could taste her own blood in her mouth as she lost count of how many times he had hit her. After a while he stopped, kicked her straight in the stomach and laugh.
“That is the new level of pain you’ll deal with from now on, okay? If you even think about attacking me, I’ll activate it. It won’t electrocute me because I have this sweet little thing” he added, pointing at a large bracelet in his left hand. “But you know what it will do to you, right?” Blake stared “I said.... You know what it will do, right?”
She nodded weakly. The man smiled.
“Don’t move. That is an order” he held her shoulders with both of his hands. They felt disgusting. He forced her into the floor, facing the ground. The shackles in her hands were trapped under her body, pressing against her stomach. “Good. Remember: don’t fucking move, bitch, or I’ll use it”.
TRIGGER WARNING BEGINS
She was petrified. Not only had that fucking collar gotten three times more painful but her entire body was aching from the beating. She had no aura left to deal with the damage. Still, she could feel when the man climbed on top of her and started fidgeting with her clothes, or what was left of them after the barbed wire. No. Please, no. Not this.
“Good kitten” he said in a raspy tone. She could hear him unbuckling his belt. No, please. Lowering his zipper. The first thing she felt was a hand on the back of her head, grabbing at her hair. Then she felt his weight on top of her. And then she felt him inside her. She wanted to die. She wanted to disappear. She wanted to be anywhere else. She thought of Yang. She had to think of Yang or she would give up. It was painful. The man groaned harder every time and Blake wished she was deaf instead of mute. She took a deep breath. Her mind took her to another place: to her room at Beacon. Those days seemed so far away now, like another life. She focused on that. On classes. On her friends. On the first rounds of the tournament. On the exams. On the teachers. On her team. On Yang. That was her safe place. Those lilac eyes were her haven and she just wanted to see them again.
Then it was over and his breath slowly went back to normal. He got up. Fixed his pants.
“That was great” he said “You didn’t move. You never thought of attacking me” he smirked. “If there aren’t many good offers tomorrow. Maybe I’ll keep you for myself, kitty”
TRIGGER WARNING ENDS
Blake just layed there. Her face devoid of any emotion, too broken and tired to express anything. Once he left, her body convulsed and she threw up. There was barely anything in her stomach but she simply couldn’t stop. When she was done she dragged herself to the other side of the room, as far as she could get without activating the sensors. Then she just layed there, on the ground, too weak to cry. How was she supposed to stay alive through this? Were they even going to find her? Blake took a deep breath. There had to be a way out of this. If she was being auctioned then they had to take her somewhere else, maybe there would be a moment in which she could escape.
She hugged herself, wishing, like every single time she tried to fall asleep in that helhole, that she was back at Yang’s side. She could remember her scent from memory and hear her voice in her mind. She tried to remember every single one of her smiles. Their hugs. Their lingering touches. Would she get a chance to kiss her? The thought of dying before ever enjoying loving her dragon send her into a borderline panic attack. It wasn’t fair. Why had this happened?
“Please find me, Yang” she mouthed silently.
-----
“This dart is a very specific brand” the expert said. Yang smiled. This could narrow things down quite a bit. It was already day five since Blake had been taken and she didn’t know what else to do. Yang couldn’t stop thinking about what the faunus was probably going through and it made her want to cry. “It comes from a store in Altea Street called The Weaponry. Its downtown”.
“You think they keep a record of their sales?” she asked, taking back the dart from the man.
“Most weapon stores are obligated to in order to have register of every weapon in Atlas. So they should” the man replied. She thanked him and left in a hurry. There was no time to lose. She just wished she had Bumbleby. Or money to take a cab.
The store was pretty fancy for a weaponry but she guessed this was a classical Atlas scenario. The name itself was a clue. She went in, the door activating a bell on top of it. A man standing behind a counter smiled at her. He had black hair and a moustache and seemed around her father’s age.
“What can I help you with?” he asked. Yang walked towards him in a somehow intimidating fashion.
“I need to know who bought this dart” the blonde replied, taking it out of her pocket and putting in the man’s face.
“That is indeed one of our products” the man recognized. “But I can’t tell you who bought it unless you have a…” Yang placed a piece of paper in front of him. She was so glad she stopped by Ironwood’s before leaving the base and got his signature on a search order.
“Got it” Yang stated. Her eyes flashing red for a second.
“Ok…” the man went to the computer at the counter and entered the dart’s serial number. Nothing came on the screen.
“What? I thought you said this was one of your products”.
“It is but we don’t have any registered sale. I might have been stolen or…” Yang had had enough. She was losing valuable time. Something in the way the man's eyes never looked directly at her made her suspect he was hiding something. She took him by the collar of his shirt with her mechanical arm, her eyes fixated on red.
“You are going to tell me who bought this. I know you know so stop making shit up. Whoever used this thing kidnapped my…” there was second there where Yang’s mind tried to define what Blake was to her. The answer suddenly seemed obvious “They kidnapped my girlfriend”.
“Is she a faunus?” the man asked.
“Yes”
“I’m sorry… I can’t…” he cried. Yang smashed her hand against the counter, breaking the glass.
“You are going to tell me right now or I’m gonna make sure you need one of this” she said, referring to her prosthetic. He shivered.
“It’s The Traders” the salesman said finally “We do business with them under the table”
“Why would you do that?” the blonde asked, trying to understand why someone would even sell to such monsters. Was Was Atlas really that sick?
“They have us threatened and I… I suspect the owner of the store hates faunus”. She let him down. This wasn’t this guy’s fault.
“I need to find them” Yang said, her eyes back to lilac.
“Ok” the guy replied “But make sure they don’t know the info came from here. They would make us disappear” the huntress nodded. She was going to destroy them either way.
“I’ll make sure of it”
He told her that The Traders came every week to restock ammo. They couldn’t buy in great quantity without alarming the militia. The next day they would pick up a package at 11pm. One more day. She was so close to find her and now she had to wait. This would be the longest day and a half of her fucking life.
“Please be there” she prayed in her head “Please be okay”.

END NOTES: This chapter depicts extreme violence and a sexual assault. I kinda based it on my own experience with abuse and I tried to be as realistic as possible without being morbid in any way. If you want to skip it its okay, I’ll put a warning before it happens.
