um so... there's this guy at my school in my year.. He is very cute!! uwu he is tall with long curly hair and he wears glasses. He has the best smile. I have had the wonderful joy of seeing him play piano and SING. i'm so lucky and I'm not even dating the guy. I'm just so lucky because he's in my maths class and I have talked to him a few times. And.. we both got parts in a school musical. Sooo I'll get to see him around :) plus I've talked to his older sister a bit. she's very cool

somebody managed to organize a tumblr convention and now it has gone to shit. Apparently it went fine up to the the point when the hotel wanted money, the whole convention started bellowing out songs and confusing (and genrally terrifying people) and raised most of the money in an hour, this is probbably the most embrassing and stupid thing tumblr has ever done tbh

Whats tag-cleaning and 4chan and everything thats going on???

A while back (idk) a couple of tumblr users decided to ‘invade’ 4chan/ A blog was set up about it, but not may people did participate. This pissed off 4chan anyway, and they decided to counter-invade tumblr. 4chan has been around way longer than tumblr, and is basically a fucking army. Talk about mob theory. They decided to spam tags such as feminism, social justice (and later fandom tags, any tags now) with horror gifs, gore, rape, etc.

The ‘invasion’ has escalated way beyond the tumblr attempt, with 4chan people threatening to photoshop user selfies onto porn (do not post counter selfies) and submit gore photos, anything. Tag cleaning is what most of tumblr is just doing now - you tag non-offensive things with stuff like #feminism, #lgbt and this drowns out the gore and violence in the tags. That is why I have been tagging any random post that comes around with stuff like superwholock, femme, etc. 

TLDR; 4chan is spamming tags with gore, clean it up by tagging reblogs with feminism, feminist.

OH GOD I'M SO SORRY I WASN'T BEING SARCASTIC AT ALL. I meant at first I was like what the heck these tags don't apply at all omgg. But then I realized you were doing it specifically FOR the gore/violence in those tags. And I like that you're doing that, KEEP tagging stuff as that for today and whenever this happens. It's REALLY smart and I really admire you for doing that. Like, I really think that's awesome. I'm sorry though for coming off badly at first!!

I know it seems random and stuff, but compared when I went on the tag last night to see what all the fuss was about and was instantly swamped with major gore, horror, things that would make even the most avid horror fan feel queasy, right now the tags are generally being spammed with dragons, hipster posts, random stuff that make no sense - there is still gore on the tags, but it has mostly been drowned out, which is great!! Sorry if I thought it was sarcasm at first, and thank you for your support! :D
