So my non-seasonal URL has been snatched. I guess that's what I get for not keeping it reserved, but I don't get what ambiguousZero has to do with finding the right dog for your kids. After October I'm not sure what I'm going to call myself now.

Eh, I was never a fan of dual wielding magic because outside of staggering, it was mana inefficient among other problems. But that’s me attempting a pure mage on Master difficulty and magic was just woefully underwhelming compared to a honed weapon.

Oh, I totally agree that it's hella inefficient, I just had a pure mage myself for laughs (but not on Master difficulty I'm too much of a weenie for that).  But there are plenty of ways to remedy that, like the High Elf racial power or a couple of the Black Book powers, or my own personal favorite, enchanting some clothes (because armor is for wimps) to reduce the mana cost of two schools of magic by 100%, completely nullifying the problem.  Sure, it takes a while to get to the point where you can do that but spamming the Kamehameha Wave Lightning Storm makes it all worth it.

I think one day I noticed you liked/reblogged a bunch of stuff from me and started following, so you had my attention, I went to check out your blog, liked what I saw and started following to pay back your follow. PC or console? And oh how I miss spell crafting and casting spells with a weapon still in my hand…

Console (PS3 specifically).  I'm passing up on those unofficial bugfixes for the ability to play on a system that can actually handle the game, really (my PC just can't handle it).  Also:  I'm kind of flip-flopping on the casting spells with a weapon still in hand thing.  On the one hand it's kind of nice to not have to switch, on the other it kind of sucks that I can't dual-wield magic and just not worry about weapons at all like I did in Skyrim.

I'm not far enough in to craft spells though, so I can't tell you what I think of that.  It certainly sounds neat!
