NOTES: Beautiful HD capture of one of the Final Dress Rehearsals. Top notch production and thrilling performances from Alice, Keaton, and the whole cast! This is quite a unique capture since it was the first time the blood was dropped. Too many amazing things to point out here, don't miss this one!!! A+ Well filmed with a nice mix of close-ups and full stage shots and no obstructions. Based on the revised Off-Broadway version, and presented at the Balagan Theatre. Because this was recorded at the final run-through prior to opening night, there are a few “holds” as they worked out any kinks: * After “Evening Prayers” there is a hold to change all microphone batteries, resulting in most of the song being run a second time (the sound check was removed and put as a bonus at the end of act two). * During the scene where Carrie is getting ready for the prom a microphone made a "farting" noise and Alice grabbed her butt and said "sorry" which made the cast and tech crew laugh.

This has been incorrectly labelled as an authorized production,which is incorrect - this was an unauthorized production (e.g., no rights were secured before the production), though Gore (and Cohen) were in the audience of this performance and chose not to sue Jeff Murphy and Stagedoor over copyright infringement, partly because Gore said he had always wanted to see the show done with actual teenagers (reported by Jeff Murphy, the director).

Luckily I was able to salvage all but thirty minutes of the original footage, so all that's lost is part of the scene after "I Am Here" and a portion of "Somewhere In The Middle Of Nowhere". If you find a USB the size of a thumbnail around Pearson, it's a $5 reward! A flu passed around the cast that they were all just recovering from, and at one point you can see Bev take a tissue out of her pilot's jacket and blow her nose. It explains the large number of understudies on, particularly of interest is that of the role of Hannah being played by a Caucasian actress, which causes her absence for the bus scene and leads to a severely different dynamic I'd not seen the character played as before.

136. Het einde

14/07/2020

Niet het einde van de reisblog! Verwacht ten minste nog een epiloog of zoiets dergelijks. Maar ja, het is 14 juli en het is 23:50, dus over 10 minuten begint mijn laatste dag in Slovenië. Eigenlijk was dit dus mijn laatste dag, want morgen vertrekken we waarschijnlijk rond 8:00 ‘s ochtends (help me) om naar Nederland te gaan.

Gisteren had ik alleen 135. x geschreven over Naya Rivera’s dood. Gisteren was ik te moe om over de dag te schrijven en eigenlijk vond ik het ook een beetje raar om van “iemand die veel heeft betekend voor mij in mijn tienerjaren is op een tragische manier overleden” naar “MIJN DAGJE IN LJUBLJANA SIKE!!!” te gaan. Ik doe vaker emotionele wendingen in blog posts, maar dat was me iets te veel.

Ik schrijf dit nog zo laat, omdat ik net eventjes afscheid ben gaan nemen van Aga. Alles eindigt nu eenmaal. Maar laten we terug gaan naar 13 juli.

De fam ging ontbijten in het hotel. Ze vroegen of ik ook wilde komen, maar ik wilde mijn koelkast leeg maken en ik had nog 6 eieren en 2 tomaten, dus ik heb beide ochtenden roerei met tomaat gegeten.

Rond 10:00 ofzo stonden ze voor mijn deur en zo konden ze mijn thuis eens zien. Hier heb ik voor de laatste 6 maanden gewoond. Ze vonden het weinige licht in mijn kamer zeer shit. Ik zeg al maanden dat ik de donkerste kamer heb. Lu was niet onder de indruk van het huis.

Het was tijd om eindelijk de obags in het echt te waarderen! Ma en Lu hebben er 5 lange maanden op moeten wachten.

Toen gingen we Ljubljana weer in. Lulu wilde graag naar de bar waar we de struisvogel zagen in januari, oftewel de Zvezda. Ik was er niet meer geweest sinds de aller eerste dag. Lu wilde graag het ijs en we dronken wat en NATUURLIJK taart.

We zijn toen wat gaan winkelen (wow, goedkope elektrische tandenborstel bovenstukjes!) en ik liet ze gewoon wat plekken zien waar ik geweest was. Het is raar om op te merken hoe eigen alles is geworden in een korte tijd.

Het was gewoon een simpel dagje Ljubljana. Ze hadden de stad al in januari gezien, maar nu was er meer ~feeling!!~, want nu hadden ze een crappy tour guide. Helaas was Open Kitchen er niet.

Wat was er wel? VIGÒ.

Ah, de tien minuten zijn voorbij. Ik wilde vroeg gaan slapen, want morgen moet ik relatief vroeg op, maar ik wil dit ook af maken. Dat gaat nog even duren.

Maar ja, eindelijk hadden ze VIGÓ ijs. Ik had Vigò en Lila. Mama had de chocolade sorbet en amarena. Pa had de Griekse yoghurt en amarena en Lu had twee keer cheesecake. De Griekse yoghurt smaakte echt wel naar yoghurt.

Toen gingen we even chillen in het hotel en zo konden we ook alle shop spullen even opbergen (waaronder de elektrische tandenborstel bovenstukjes wow!). Lu was moe, maar ik ging met pa en ma naar het kasteel om wat te drinken met uitzicht over Ljubljana.

Pa nam de meest steile pad omhoog en mam en ik namen de comfortabele lift van €4 retour.

Ik zoek later wel op hoe de bar heette, maar ja, we hadden een uitzicht over Ljubljana. Ik had er al foto’s van gemaakt op zaterdag, dus ik was meer geïnteresseerd in perensap.

Daarna pikten we Lulu op om naar de Chinees te gaan. Lu wilde al de hele tijd dumplings en ik besloot om niet naar de mega prominente Han te gaan, maar naar Zhong Hua. Dat is het kleine restaurantje waar ik met Victor naar toe ben gegaan. Het is duidelijk een familie bedrijf, want een schattig kleutertje liep de hele tijd rond.

Het was heel lekker, maar ik heb geen foto’s. Mam heeft er vast genoeg.

We gingen weer even naar het hotel, want het werd kouder, en toen op naar the place to be! Universiteitsplein. Er was namelijk een balletvoorstelling van het National Slovene Theatre in Maribor.

Nou, nu bleek het een mix van moderne dans en ballet te zijn. Ik had tijdens het optreden de voorstelling opgezocht, maar die pagina vind ik niet meer terug op de site.

Oh NEVERMIND, hier is het.

Eerst was er dus een dans met loopbanden en een danseres liep stil op de achtergrond, want ze was geblesseerd. Een grote fuck you naar de volwassen man achter me die het nodig vond om een danser belachelijk te maken toen hij een Aziatische taal sprak. Mijn twaalf jaar oude neefje heeft nog meer competentie dan u. De foto is niet geweldig, want het outdoor concert had al laten zien dat mijn camera niet geweldig is in het donker.

Daarna was er een mega lange pauze tussen de stukken. Ze moesten namelijk alle loopbanden weghalen en de danser kleedden zich om. Er kwam een mega lang stuk en pap en ik waren zeer onder de indruk van hun talent, maar ook zeer door de war. Ach, moderne kunst. Je snapt er niets van.

Het laatste stuk was dus de headliner. De “Falling angels”.

Het was cool en ik vond het leuk, maar het was niet mega geweldig. Bij een groep van het National Theatre denk je vaak eerder aan meer klassieke ballet. Moderne kunst is nu eenmaal raar. Als je het begrijpt, kan je het vaker meer waarderen. Anders leidt het gewoon tot veel verwarring. Ik heb hier een 10 voor gekregen:

Het was rond 22:30 afgelopen en ik nam de bus naar huis.

De dag daarna had ik me enigzins verslapen, maar rond 10:30 zaten we in de auto richting Lake Bled. Yes, de laatste dag in Slovenië en eindelijk ga ik naar Lake Bled. Pa wilde ook wat anders dan Ljubljana zien en daar geef ik hem gelijk in. Slovenië heeft veel te bieden.

We kwamen even mijn huisbaas tegen en hij zei dat we naar Velika Planina moesten gaan. Dat was echt natuur en niet mega toeristisch. Het zou maar 25 minuutjes rijden zijn. Nou, het was 1 uur en 25 minuutjes over deels onverharde wegen. Dan maar naar Bled.

Lake Bled is één van de meest toeristische plekken in het hele land en wat is het een klote zooi om daar aan te komen. We hebben grotendeels rondgereden rondom het meer, want er stond nergens aangegeven hoe we er konden komen. De navigaties gaven ons een weg, maar dat was afgesloten wegens wegwerkzaamheden.

Uiteindelijk kwamen we er wel en we dronken wat in een heel schattig cafeetje.

Lake Bled was mega rustig. Toen ik hier langsreed met Tabea en Cristina was het benen buiten en overal file, maar nu was het gewoon stil. Er waren wel toeristen, maar niet belachelijk veel.

Wij zaten wel op een minder toeristisch deel, denk ik. We hadden niet eens geweldig uitzicht op het eiland in Bled. We zaten wel pal onder het kasteel.

Het was gewoon geweldig: het weer was niet te warm en niet te koud en het was helemaal niet druk. Het water is wel mooi.

Net zoals in Bohinj zie je de vissen zwemmen.

Er waren ook heel veel waterlelies.

We liepen even rond en er was ook een heel zwemgedeelte. Locals hebben allemaal abonnementen voor dat deel. Boven het zwemgedeelte lag een grill genaamd Grajska Plaža. Het plan was om uitgebreid te lunchen en dan licht te eten.

Alsnog, ma heeft de foto’s van het eten. Het zag er echt geweldig uit en het smaakte ook goed. Lu had eindelijk haar beef soup.

Rond 15:00 gingen we terug naar Ljubljana. We hebben even in het hotel gezeten en toen zijn Lulu en ik souvenirs gaan kopen (of Lulu ging souvenirs kopen en ik stond er naast) en ijsrolletjes halen bij Ice Wave. Dit is een ander bedrijf dat die op Open Kitchen en het smaakte ook anders. Hier gebruikten ze yoghurt en Bueno. Bij de ander hadden ze melk, Bueno en stukken witte chocolade. Beiden waren goed.

Pa en ma zaten inmiddels bij een café aan het water genaamd Petkovšek.

Wat voor avondeten? Burek. Ja, de laatste maaltijd in Ljubljana werd afhaal burek bij de 24/7 snackbar. We namen 3 pizza burek (burek met pizza smaak) en één pizza tuna (pizza met tonijn) voor Lu en ik ben blij dat de fam ook fan is van pizza burek. We namen het mee naar het universiteitsplein, want daar at ik ook altijd mijn afhaal eten. The place to be! Mijn Ljubljana experience!

Het plan was daarna om mijn spullen alvast in de auto te gooien, zodat we dat niet in de ochtend hoeven te doen. De fam ging naar het hotel en ik nam de bus naar huis. Vraag me niet waarom, maar ik voelde me ineens zeer “future” nostalgisch. De laatste keer buslijn 14 😭. Ja, ik ben zo iemand die gehecht raakt aan een buslijn, maar het was gewoon altijd een fijne rit, want het was niet mega druk.

Eenmaal thuis ging ik het laatste inpakken. Toen ook wat afwassen en andere dingen klaar maken. Pa kwam aan met Snuf (onze auto heet Snuf) om het grootste deel in de laden. Toen voelde het wel raar. Mijn kamer nu voelt ook mega leeg. Ik zei ook tegen pap dat het einde nu wel raakt. Ik ben natuurlijk verdrietig om weg te gaan, maar ik ben klaar om te gaan.

Of dat dacht ik.

(Fuck you Spotify voor Science Fiction Double Feature, oftewel Naya’s eerste solo in glee.) (Ja, ik luister nog steeds naar Ultimate glee playlist. Het is meer dan 25 uur lang.)

Ineens waren de laatste zes maanden opgepakt in een grote koffer en een paar tassen. We reden naar het hotel, want ik besloot om ook even te chillen in de kamer. Dus hoe besteedde ik mijn laatste avond in Ljubljana? Clubben? Drinken? Uitgaan t/m de vroege ochtend? Een zeer emotionele wandeling door het centrum?

Nee. Animal Crossing in een hotel kamer. (En nu wilt Bob ook nog verhuizen!)

Ik had ook even gedoucht, want die douche in het hotel is overduidelijk beter dan hier in huis.

(Spotify. Serieus? Nog een Naya solo? Santa Baby? God, haar stem was geweldig. “Was”, niet “is”. Ah.)

En toen naar huis. Laatste nacht hier, bitches. Ik nam de bus en lijn 6 kwam net op tijd aanrijden. Het is alsof deze bus wist dat ik lijn 6 shit vind (ja, ik heb ook haat aan buslijnen), dus als een vaarwelcadeau kwam de bus precies op tijd aan zonder planning. De app was namelijk niet aan het werken, dus ik had in mijn achterhoofd dat ik misschien toch moest gaan fietsen.

Eenmaal thuis klopte ik even aan bij Aga om vaarwel te zeggen, maar ze sliep (of dat dacht ik), dus ik ging naar mijn lege kamer. Ik heb nog een kop thee gezet en Kath kwam binnen, dus ik ben ook even met haar gaan praten. Zij vertelde dat Aga nog wakker is, dus ik ben alsnog even naar Aga gegaan.

Dat is het dan. 6 maanden en 6 dagen (oh wow) zijn voorbij. En nu is het 0:56 en ik moet echt slapen, maar ik wilde dit afschrijven. Plus, het is mijn laatste nacht hier! Let’s not care! No regrets.

De “caring” en “regrets” komen morgen vroeg wanneer ik mijn wekker moet snoozen. Yuè-van-morgen moet maar met de consequenties leven. Dat gaat leuk worden, aangezien ik nooit kan slapen in vervoer. Yuè-van-morgen(-of-eigenlijk-vandaag), het spijt me.

Weltrusten lezer. Welstrusten Slovenië. Welstrusten Erasmus. Ik heb net drie keer welterusten fout geschreven. Ik moet misschien toch maar eens gaan slapen.

TODO lo que aprendí cuando compré la copa menstrual

Tengo que confesarles que soy una persona tipo A, de las que hace listas para todo, busca recomendaciones, se lee los estudios y cuando compra algo se sienta a leer el manual de instrucciones. Aunque eso tiene muchas ventajas, una de las que más me gusta es que no hago tantas compras impulsivas, por eso cuando fui a comprar la copa quise que fuera una decisión consciente y aquí les comparto todo lo que encontré.

La copa menstrual es una herramienta de higiene que se inserta en la vagina para recolectar el sangrado durante la menstruación.

Escuché por primera vez de la copa en un artículo de Buzfeed en el que hablaban de la diva cup como la invención del momento que estaba revolucionando la vida de las mujeres, y la verdad se me hizo exagerado. A mi en ese momento me daba pánico ponerme un tampón entonces no entendía como uno se ponía ALGO GIGANTE (o eso pensaba en ese momento) pero bueno, ese miedo ya se me pasó.

Años después, llegó el boom de las copas y también de la reconciliación entre feminismo y ecología. Entonces la copa también brindaba una alternativa para no gastar más de 300 mil pesos al año en productos de higiene menstrual. Y ahí decidí cambiarme.

Como yo soy una persona SUPER intensa le pregunté a mis amigas por Twitter, Whatsapp, Instagram y cuanta red social hay si me recomendaban la copa y la respuesta de casi todas fue, literalmente:

"La copa me cambió la vida"

Así que empecemos con las recomendacionessss:

1. ¿La copa es para mi?

Primero lo primero, la copa no es para todo el mundo. Antes de decidir comprar una copa menstrual hay que tener en cuenta un check list y hacer unas mediciones y aquí te las dejo lo más simple posible:

a. ¿Cuál es la altura de tu cervix (o cuello del útero)?

Cuando vas a comprar la copa esto es algo que te pueden preguntar y es muy importante saber para poder elegir la talla y tipo adecuado de producto.

No importa si ya tuviste no no has tenido relaciones sexuales, eso no influye en la altura de tu cerviz y ponerte la copa no va a dañar tu primera relación sexual (te lo prometo) 💜.

Para medir el tamaño de nuestra cervix nos vamos a lavar las manos, a dejár los tabús a introducir uno de nuestros dedos en la vagina hasta que toque un tejido un poco más firme, se siente más durito.

Si solo alcanzas una falange, lo tienes bajo; si alcanzas dos falanges medio y tres es porque lo tienes alto.

Si tu cervix es baja quizás tengas que comprar una talla S o petite, y si es media o alta una talla M o L o única van a quedarte super bien.

b. Tu tonicidad vaginal

Tu tonicidad vaginal puede ser fuerte o flácida. Es fuerte, por ejemplo, si no puedes tener relaciones sexuales penetrativas, si por ejemplo te duele mucho cuando intentas ponerte un tampón o introducir un dedo.

Y es flácida si puedes introducir más de 5 dedos y si los tampones se caen cuando los introduces.

Si eres de tonicidad fuerte es mejor que busques una copa pequeña u otras alternativas. Y si eres de tonicidad flácida hay copas talla L que pueden servirte, hazle saber esto a la asesora cuando la compres.

Si estás en la mitad, una copa talla única s/m o m te va a servir.

c. ¿Qué tan abundante es tu flujo?

Esto importa para saber cada cuanto tienes que cambiarla y cuál resiste mejor.

d. ¿Tienes alergias o usas la T (Dispositivo Intra Uterino)?

Si tienes alergia al látex o a la silicona quizás lo mejor es que busques otras alternativas 💔

Y si usas T tienes que ser muy cuidadosa cuando la uses porque puede quedarse atrapada en los hilos de cobre que se usan para retirar el DIU y puede que se te salga cuando la vayas a quitar. Para aprender a ponertela primero tienes que aprender bien dónde están los hilitos para poder acomodar la copa. En general no hay problema, solo es aprender a quitártela con muuuucho cuidado, pero si tienes cerviz bajo quizás es mejor asesorarte bien sobre con qué copa corres menos riesgo de halar el dispositivo.

2. ¿Dónde compro la copa? Hay MIL opciones, muchísimas tiendas en Faceook y en Instagram y también las he visto en los supermercados de cadena. Pero hay también copas falsas que son en plástico y pueden ser MUY dañinas aquí les doy unos consejos para identificar que copas son falsas:

1. LEAN REVIEWS: los comentarios de las fotos, las fotos del producto, si tienen experiencias de compradoras, página web, si dicen los materiales y tienen certificaciones de los mismos. En Colombia, si te dicen que la copa tiene certificado Invima o de la FDA, corre de ahí porque el Invima no da registro sanitario para las copas. Si es certificado invima, es de no requerimiento.

2. Las copas con diseños super raros en el palito o que tienes tú que cortar el palito... no. Estas copas generalmente son hechas con materiales extraños y con moldes genéricos que no han sido ni probados.

3. Si está MUY barata. La copa también es una inversión y te dura como mínimo 3 años y como máximo 10 años (bien cuidada). Una promoción de dos copas por 40 mil pesos es sospechoso. El precio va desde los 60 mil hasta las más caras que pueden valer 100 mil.

4. Si no tienen información del fabricante. Si son una copa más en una caja con nombre genérico... esa copa pudo ser comprada por Aliexpress, no la vayas a comprar.

Una copa pirata es un peligro al ntroducir en tu cuerpo y te pueden producir infecciones, rajarse, y tener químicos cancerígenos.

3. ¿La copa tene más beneficios?

Me dijeron DE TODO. Hay mujeres a las que les reduce los cólicos y otras que los aumentan. En general como está más arriba insertada puede durar menos el periodo y puedes hacer de TODO (si está bien puesta): correr, nadar, dormir... hay copas con las que hasta puedes tener relaciones sexuales, entonces ya es tu decisión elegir la que más se acomode.

Igual encontré que también la copa puede dar shock tóxico e infecciones, pero es muy raro. No dejes que eso te asuste para compar una.

4. ¿Por qué comprar la copa?

Mi primer pensamiendo fue "sostenibilidad". Las toallas higiénicas y los tampones contaminan mucho y otras alternativas como las esponjas, el sangrado libre y las toallas de tela pueden no ser tan prácticas (pero eso lo decides tú)

Pero después de escuchar a mis amigas, la experiencia de la copa también te conecta con tu ciclo menstrual. El poder conocer tu vagina, tu vulva y tu sangrado, también es una forma de conocerte, de entender tu ciclo y de poder comprender el momento que experimenta tu cuerpo. La menstruación para muchas de ellas dejó de ser solo una época del mes indeseable en la que se ponían una toalla y tenían que esconderse, a ser una experiencia de reconciliarse con su cuerpo y su ciclo.

También tengo amigas que me recomendaron la copa porque hace que no les da tantos cólicos y eso para mi que sufro de menstruaciones dolorosas sería un alivio, pero no es igual para todas las mujeres y primero hay que probarla para ver a ti que te sienta bien.

Yo aún no puedo decirles eso porque no la he probado (a decir verdad por físico miedo) pero ya la compré y no hay marcha atrás.

The End of a Decade, The Start of an Age: 2019

Assalamu'alaikum, Fellas! As always, the annual blog post. Hm, tahun ini bakalan banyak yang ditulis nih kayaknya wkwkwk. Langsung ku-rewind aja kali, ya? Tahun ini, aku semester 4 wkwkwk, udah termasuk golongan tua, tuh. Semester 4 juga, aku mulai hectic-hectic petroleum-thingy, apalagi kalau bukan kelasnya Pak Koko. Sabtu-Minggu tiap bulannya ada kelas. Tugasnya yang resume berhalaman-halaman itu wkwkwk memorable banget, sih. Tahun ini juga, angkatanku jadi panitia Makrab Geofisika! Aku kebagian di divisi konsumsi, padahal nggak bisa masak sama sekali tuh wkwkwk but surprisingly it all went well. Memorable banget sih Panderman, apalagi pas aku solo-hike buat nganterin barangnya anak acara yang ketinggalan di pos bawah, sampe dijemput sama anak TKP karena takut aku anak cewek nyasar sendiri nanti lol. Terus tenda konsumsi banjir tuh, karena hujan lebat banget, sampe CO konsumsi nyangkul got di sekitar tenda, lucu banget sih. Terus ada maba yang the audacity!!! bilang makanan kayak makanan napi wkwkwk kurang ajar banget, pokoknya belajar banyak banget dari Panderman. Terus, tahun ini juga, aku iseng-iseng daftar Student Chapter, dan alhamdulillaahnya keterima, nggak kayak tahun lalu hehehe. Tada! Welcome to Society of Exploration Geophysicists-Universitas Brawijaya Student Chapter! Aku keterima jadi staff Geoscience, sama 3 orang lainnya (salah satunya CO). Niatku daftar organisasi buat belajar sih wkwkwk terutama kayak teamwork, professionalism gitu-gitu. Jujur aja, awalnya aku anxious banget, apalagi aku bakalan kerja sama adik tingkat yang biasanya aku nggak deket wkwkwk kenal aja nggak. Eh, ternyata semuanya jadinya di luar ekspektasi, gitu. Seiring dengan berjalannya waktu (tsah), aku jadi lumayan deket sama mereka. Kayak gosip-gosip gitu wkwkwk terus minta tolong kalau ada apa-apa jadi nggak terlalu segan lagi. Asik, sih! Belajar banyak banget di SEG. Oh iya, tahun ini juga, aku pertama kalinya jadi asisten praktikum wkwkwk. Aku jadi asprak geologi dasar pas semester 4. Nah, dibantu sama ini juga nih, sama aku anak SEG, jadi kenal beberapa adik tingkat yang satu SC sama aku juga. Gila sih, jadi asprak hectic juga, ya. Aku kan, pas semester 4 juga ngambil kelas geologi minyak bumi, tuh, yang kelasnya Pak Koko, jadi bayangin aja bagi waktu sama ngoreksi buku laporan, terus belajar materi praktikum, ngerjain tugas resume, gitu-gitu wkwkwk. Cuma seru banget, udah gitu Bu CO perhatian banget lagi (heheheh shoutout to Tia!) dan temen-temen sesama asprakku juga suportif sekali! Banyak banget pengalaman jadi asprak, memorable-lah pokoknya. Terus, tahun ini, aku juga dimintain tolong jadi CO Tim Soal Kebumian Braphy. Gila sih, ini hectic banget wkwkwkwkwkwk. Aku tim-an sama satu temen seangkatan sama 3 adik tingkat. Semuanya anak geo. Jadi pas liburan nugas bikin soal 150 WKWKWKWK BAYANGIN AJA TUH, terus ya baru tahun inilah aku kayak kenal beberapa anak fisika sama anak instrumentasi karena jujur aja tahun-tahun sebelumnya aku ngekor ke mana-mana sama anak geo. Ternyata mereka nggak seburuk yang kubayangkan wkwkwk semuanya suportif sekali, jadi alhamdulillaah setengah kepanitiaan pertama semuanya lancar-lancar aja. Puasa tahun ini, tuh, bisa dibilang puasaku yang nggak banget :') Ini sih yang aku sayangin banget setelah ikut organisasi. Mungkin karena aku masih pemula kali, ya? Jadi aku masih belum bisa ngatur waktu yang baik dan benar gitu. Pokoknya yang aku sedih banget soalnya ibadahku kurang banget, cuy :') Ya Allaah, tolong ketemuin kita sama ramadhaan lagi :') Allaahumma aamiin! Nah, SEG sama EAGE (dua-duanya UB SC, ya, wkwkwk) dapet tender megang Workshop on Geophysical Methods tahun ini. Aku dapet bagian kestari, jadi ngurus-ngurus surat, gitu-gitu deh wkwkwk. CO-ku adik tingkat, jadi lucu sih wkwkwk cuma dia jago banget! Kepanitiaannya kebentuk sebelum liburan, sih, jadi kayak kepotong liburan gitu (?) Ngerti, kan? Abis liburan bakal diceritain abis ini. Yang bikin seru tahun ini, SEG ngadain benchmark ke Jogja! Pas Agustus tuh, kan, aku kebagian buat nyari penginapan. Jadi selama liburan aku tuh pusing nyari penginapan di Jogja bekal google maps doang karena aku nggak pernah ke Jogja :') (PTSD aku sama akun ticketing online wkwkwk shhttt). Terus pas Agustus aku balik ke Malang duluan (padahal adekku jadi Paskibra Batam tahun ini :')) 2 hari kemudian berangkat deh ke Jogja! Seru banget, sih, ini. Kita hari pertama mampir ke UGM (yes, ketemu temen SD-ku yang anak Geofisika juga, dan, yes, ternyata dia anak Geoscience juga, CO-nya malah) (super awkward aku cuy ya Allaah masih kebayang malunya wkwkwk). Terus hari kedua kita mampir ke UPN. Yang jelas, benchmarking ngebuka mataku tentang banyak hal deh wkwkwk dan untungnya tuan rumahnya pada ramah-ramah! Jalan-jalan juga, tuh, ke Malioboro, ke Tamansari. Ketemu sama temen seprodiku dulu juga yang pindah ke UGM. Aku seneng banget sama road trip-nya sih, karena baru pertama kali itu naik mobil dalam jangka waktu lama hehehe. Agustus, hari-H Workshop! Workshop-nya di Cangar, Batu-atas-dikit. Pas aku berangkat ke sana, boncengan naik motor sama adik tingkatku, itu abis maghrib dan kabutnya tebel, dingin banget. Tempat workshop-nya di kaki Gunung Welirang, jadi ada hot spring-nya. Cuma udaranya emang dingin banget, sih. Aku, kan, kestari, ya. Jadi tugasku nggak banyak wkwkwk cuma absen-absen pas mau makan, gitu-gitu. Di tempat nginepnya, ada smart TV WKWKWK jadi anak-anak biasanya karaoke-an sama lagu KPop :'))) Terus ada satu peserta ini yang, yah, mengelus dada-lah istilahnya wkwkwk cuma everything went well! Bintangnya bagus banget di Cangar :') Pokoknya asik banget jadi panitia Workshop! Soal Braphy, pas penyisihan nggak ada hal-hal yang menarik banget sih (cuma pas itu yang IT-nya ngambek WKWKWK aku pusing juga sih waktu itu cuma alhamdulillaah nggak kenapa-kenapa). Nah, pas menjelang hari-H, tuh, aku pusing nyari topik praktikum sama juri WKWKWK dan minggu itu aku lagi hectic 5S + Karsam (ini ada bahasannya sendiri nanti), tapi alhamdulillaah berkat rahmat Allaah dan teamwork semuanya bisa jalan! Eh, tahu-tahu, H-10 jam apa, ya, anakku sakit 1 orang nggak bisa dateng pas hari-H :') Kebayang nggak, sih, pusingnya gimana? Cuma alhamdulillaah semuanya berjalan dengan lancar. Pas hari-H juga nggak ada kendala berarti, lancar sampe pengumuman pemenang :') Ya Allaah aku bahagia banget Olimpiade Kebumian Braphy 2019 akhirnya kelar! Nah, semester 5 beneran kayak sucked-the-life-out-of-me gitu WKWKWKWK GILA COY SEMESTER INI TUH SEMESTER TER-HECTIC SEPANJANG MASA. Ya, kalian tahu sendirilah kan dari yang udah aku sebutin di atas, aku anak SC, ikut kepanitiaan Braphy gitu-gitu. Semester 5, aku ngambil mata kuliah 5S, lanjutannya geologi minyak bumi dari semester 4. Yup, kelasnya Pak Koko lagi. Tapi bayangin tugasnya 3 kali lipat, terus masuk Jumat-Sabtu-Minggu, TIAP MINGGU WKWKWKWK, terus tiap Rabu ada tambahan kelas petrofisika. Keren sih, kelas ini, tuh, aslinya beneran ngasih kita banyak banget ilmu, aku bisa belajar software-software petroleum yang legit-legit wkwkwk pokoknya nggak kebayang, deh, kalau nggak ikutan kelas ini. Cuma ya gitu, sambat tetep aja jalan xD Beneran pas semester ini yang aku ngerjain tugas sampe nggak tidur, begadang di kafe sama temen buat ngejar deadline :') Mata kuliah 5S juga yang bikin aku breakdown di tengah-tengah kafe diliatin temen-temen WKWKWKWK plis ini lucu sekaligus embarrassing banget, a moment to remember, sih, tapi xD Shoutout to 5S for all the laughs and the tears! (That 54 halaman resume tho). Tahun ini juga, aku ke Karangsambung! Akhirnya, speaking of the devil, soalnya mata kuliah workshop geologi jadi wajib semester 5 (Oh iya, aku kena rolling kurikulum, ihiks, jadi kayaknya bakalan lulus lebih lama :') Doain aja bisa survive, ya?). Jadi bayangin aja, hari aku berangkat ke Kebumen itu hari-H Braphy WKWKWKWK, alhamdulillaahnya berangkatnya malem, sih :') Cuma karena aku harus siap-siap Braphy dari jam 6 pagi, aku udah packing buat Karsam dari subuh, tuh. Jadi seharian aku ngurusin Braphy, terus malamnya berangkat, deh! Naik bus, yang ikut sekitar 30-an orang, tapi ceweknya sedikit banget soalnya rata-rata udah pada ikutan tahun kemarin xD Tetep, bagian favoritku road trip-nya! Asik banget, berlama-lama di bus, tidur sih wkwkwk sesekali buka handphone atau dengerin sesuatu di Spotify. Di Karsam, tuh, aku nginep di asrama gitu. Kata orang-orang, kan, asramanya angker, ya. Tapi alhamdulillaahnya aku nggak encounter sama apapun, sih. Cuma temenku ada, tuh, denger suara-suara gitu, sama digangguin xD Itu urusan dia, yak, bukan aku :p Karsam, tuh, beneran mendaki gunung melewati lembah, belajar banyak banget soal geologi dan pemetaan, dibimbing sama pembimbing dari LIPI juga makanya legit. Aku sekelompok berenam cewek sendiri :') Tapi tingkah udah ngalah-ngalahin Wonder Woman, udah WKWKWKWK. Asik banget, Karsam! Beneran the highlight of the year. I'm proud of what I've achieved there! Terus, ah, ini kayaknya bakalan ada bahasannya sendiri nanti WKWKWKWK asli malu aku sebenernya /face palm/. Oke, urusan fangirl-lyfe, tahun ini Manchester United gila banget pokoknya. Awal tahun mulus banget sama Ole, pas ketemu Tottenham awal tahun ini, wah superb banget De Gea!!!!! Tahun ini ketemu youngster-youngster kayak Mason Greenwood, terus aku seneng banget Marcus lagi on-fire! That-cursed-chant wkwkwkwk not gonna talk about it. Terus the true highlight of the year: that night in Paris! Ya Allaah aku bersyukur banget bisa nonton ini live :') Ngerasain gimana deg-degannya ah pokoknya nggak bisa aku jelasin gimananya :') Yah, meskipun the dreams crushed in the end, tapi aku seneng banget bisa ngerasain football adrenaline tahun ini! Terus Women's World Cup!!!! Gila, cuy, ternyata sepakbola perempuan, tuh, keren gitu wkwkwkwk. Tahun ini di Perancis, aku jelas dukung Frauenmannschaft! Sayang mereka cuma sampai perempat final :') Terus buat die Mannschaft U-21 (ada Bang Nadiem sama Bang Mo soalnya), kalah di final Euro U-21 :') Aku seneng 2019 bisa mempertemukanku (tsah) sama dua anak football-ku, Daniel James sama Jackie Groenen! A partir daí veremos a carga que jogo carrega. As pessoas da cidade vivem com esse dilema, de saber que o fim está próximo, e com isso presenciamos os mais diferentes tipos de reação. É nesse ponto que as emoções são bem trabalhadas no jogo. Não só fatores psicológicos, mas também sentimentais. Veremos em woodfall os Deku Scrubs que após o desaparecimento de sua princesa descontam no primeiro que aparece. Nas Mountanhas que levam para SnowHead Temple, temos a vila dos Gorons, onde esse povo permanece congelando por causa do frio, na esperança de dias melhores. Com fé em Darmani, herói Goron. Em Great Bay, temos os Zoras, onde a sensação de tristeza e solidão são mais fortes. Lulu, uma zora que fica em um estado de depressão após a perda dos seus Zora's Eggs (ovos de zora), e Mikau, o guitarrista Zora que acaba perdendo sua vida na busca dos ovos. Além disso temos os Gerudos para dificultar a situação. Depois vamos para o Cânion de Ikana, onde temos o lugar mais sinistro do game. Múmias, caveiras, fantasmas, e não-vivos habitam o lugar. Ele nos passa uma impressão de tudo aquilo que uma vez existiu e não existe mais. Temos o cemitério de Ikana também, que possui uma ambientação bem carregada. Logo depois pegamos a canção Elegy of Emptiness, que nos permite fazer cópias de si mesmo. Uma cópia de Link, Goron, Zora e Scrub. Para subir até seu topo e entrar no Stone Tower Temple é preciso usar as formas de Link. Logo após vamos para a batalha na torre, onde o Skull Kid nos aguarda, após os Four Giants, quatro gigantes evitarem que a lua destruísse o planeta. Seguimos para a Lua, onde a batalha final irá acontecer. Mas ao chegarmos lá encontramos um paraíso, como se fosse a transição entre esse mundo e o espiritual. Ou como se fosse o meio termo da consciência e da alma, onde reina a neutralidade da vida. Depois dessa etapa e de entregar nossas máscaras, que nos faz outra referência, já que é como se fosse uma purificação, entregando todas as nossas mascaras em um paraíso, para seguirmos em frente. É como expiar tudo que não precisamos levar. Em seguida, em um local totalmente diferente de tudo que vimos, enfrentamos a Mascara de Majora. E as sensações que temos nessa batalha são diversas; é algo triste, e ao mesmo tempo esperançoso, também vemos a raiva e o desespero, além de muito mais. É uma das partes mais emocionantes e simbólicas do game, principalmente se você se concentrar nos detalhes. Enfim, voltamos à Termina para o A New Day (um novo dia), onde a esperança ressurge, e todas as pessoas agora querem valorizar mais a vida, por perceberem o quanto ela é preciosa. E que só notamos isso quando estamos a ponto de perdê-la. Mas tudo faz parte da vida, e todos os desafios que enfrentamos e superamos são os motivos de valorar a vida, o que dão sentido a ela. Una vez que abrió la puerta se congeló, estaba parado frente a él el hombre que aún era capaz de robarle el sueño y el aliento, con esa mirada tan profunda lo único que lograba era hacerle sentir desnudo, y a la vez suyo, como lo fue durante mucho tiempo en el pasado.

¿Niño?, ¿Es en serio? Ha pasado un año de que no se veían y ¿Lo primero que hacia era decirle niño? Realmente iba a matarlo. Soltó una carcajada antes de negar, prefirió no decir nada, ya que no tenía ganas de discutir, además de que sus pequeños ya se encontraban escondidos como de costumbre, siempre lo hacían cuando llegaban visitas a casa. El hombre entró y miró al rededor con su característica mirada, detectando algún cambio, aroma o presencia extraña.

ㅡ¡Papá ya está aquí, Lulu!

Souta gritó desde donde estaba escondido antes de correr a donde estaba su padre, mientras que Luniel venía todo risueño hasta el cuerpo de quién no veía hace ya un año, los pequeños abrazaron el cuerpo que tanto habían extrañado; Souta no paraba de decir lo mucho que le había extrañado, mientras que Luniel solo se acurrucaba entre el pecho y los fuertes brazos de su moreno padre. Hun se encontraba ahora parado al lado de su linda familia, porque sí, aquellas tres personitas eran su familia entera y lo único que tenía en el mundo.

< 9:30PM, 3°C>

ㅡBueno, Souta quiere ir a una academia de baile, pero se me hace que aún está muy pequeño, con seis años no creo que sea edad suficiente, pero es que me sigue rogando ir.

Le contaba al mayor mientras tenía a Luniel entre sus brazos, por otro lado, el mayor estaba con Souta entre sus brazos, al fin, luego de tanto tiempo estaban comiendo en familia.

ㅡSi Souta quiere, debes hacerlo, no hay nada que mis niños no puedan hacer, Hun. ¿Qué hay de Luniel?, ¿Ha mejorado?

Sonrió pensando en que decir mientras ponía un pequeño trozo de carne dentro de una hoja de lechuga para dársela en la boca al pequeño entre sus brazos, mientras que el moreno hacía lo mismo con Souta.

ㅡLu aún está en proceso de evaluación, bueno, ambos, aun están muy pequeños para saber si heredaron alguna de mis enfermedades, ya sabe. Y en cuanto a su problema... aun le cuesta hablar, sigue tartamudeando, y es algo que le frustra, ya no sólo quiere hacer sesiones de fotos, quiere grabar comerciales, incluso me han llamado, pero no puede, le cuesta mucho. Pero ya va a mejorar, ¿Verdad, amor?

Rió mientras miraba a su pequeño quien disfrutaba de la comida e inmediato miró a su otro hijo que estaba en las piernas de su padre, una vez que se encontraron sus miradas le lanzó un par de besos. Solía ser así de cariñoso con sus pequeños y es que siempre había sido así, aunque a veces debía ser firme con ellos.

ㅡNuestro Lu es un niño inteligente y esforzado, dale un par de meses, te aseguro que va a ser el más parlanchín de la familia Letter.

Respondió el más alto antes de seguir con la agradable cena.

Se quedó en el umbral de la puerta mirando como el moreno acariciaba a sus hijos mientras estos ya estaban por dormidos ya hace unos veinte minutos. Era una imagen tierna, que deseaba tenerla todos los días, a pesar de que ya no estaban juntos seguía amando a ese hombre como hace más de diez años atrás.

ㅡSi me sigues mirando así me voy a desgastar, Han.

No pudo evitar negar mientras reía y es que el mayor siempre salía con algo que le hacía recordar a los viejos tiempos. El hombre se levantó y caminó en dirección a donde estaba Hun, se miraron aun estando en la oscuridad, se sonrieron y sin pensarlo más se abrazaron con fuerza. El mayor caminó hasta la habitación que ambos habían compartido hace un tiempo atrás, depositó él blanquecino cuerpo sobre el colchón para que esta vez ambos se pudieran besar con ganas. Se tocaron, se acariciaron, se amaron, se cuidaron, se estaban dando todo lo que se prometieron años atrás y aquello demostraba que la pasión entre ellos seguía viva.

La luz de la luna se colaba por el gran ventanal a sus espaldas, aquella iluminaba la cara del hombre que más había amado en su vida, con sus manos acarició su rostro, aquel que ya tenía un par de líneas de expresión marcadas en él, las siguió con su dedo, dejando ver un rostro cansado, pero se notaba feliz, al menos no estaba tenso. Sabía que pasar viajando era estresante, aun mas si no tenía a su familia a su lado. Bajó una de sus manos y tomó los dedos ajenos entre los suyos, aquellas grandes manos que muchas veces le tocaron, le hicieron estremecer, también le dieron apoyo y con las que secó sus lágrimas en sus días más difíciles. Habían pasado ya un par de años, ambos estaban más maduros, tenían más responsabilidades, tenían a dos mellizos de seis años, cada uno se parecía a cada padre físicamente, pero eran lo contrario en personalidad. Para él eran una familia casi perfecta, si tan solo pudiera dormir con el hombre que amaba cada día, todo sería más que perfecto.

ㅡLulu, creo que papi uno y papi dos volvieron a estar juntos.

Escuchó un murmullo antes de reincorporarse sobre la cama y ver las dos pequeñas figuras en la puerta, sólo podía notar aquellos ojitos brillosos llenos de ilusión.

Con su brazo removió el cuerpo ajeno para que se despertara, una vez que el mayor ya estaba consciente apuntó con un gesto a los pequeños que seguían mirándole con cierta ilusión. Ambos se miraron y sonrieron, pero esta vez fue el moreno el que cortó la distancia entre ambos para así poder besarse de la manera más pura que podían frente a dos frutos de su amor, los cuales ahora sonreían y se acercaban todos alegres a la cama donde estaban ambos padres, para poder dormir con ellos.

let it happen | chapter 4

9:40 A.M.

Lance saves the document, closes it, stares at his laptop desktop image until his eyes start to sting, groans in frustration, and slams his laptop shut. Puts it aside. He crosses his arms like a petulant child, he chews on his bottom lip, his eyes roam around his room.

He watches as the wind plays lazily with his curtains, making their shadows dance, swaying back and forth.

Something moves in his peripheral vision. He rolls his head to the side, fingers hovering over the keypad. The sight that meets him makes him pause, his fingers freeze, Keith looks so peaceful, he looks almost… ethereal. It’s kind of disturbing, yet mesmerizing at the same time.

Keith’s pale face glows a tender hue under the morning light, the sun tinges his chapped lips a deep pink, the scar under his left eye looks almost translucent.

Keith’s so… unfairly beautiful.

He catches himself tracing down the slopes of Keith’s face, the lines of his jaw, the curve of his upper lip with his eyes like a piece of chalk on canvas. He’s never seen something quite this stunning before in his life (granted, he’s only 22, but that’s beside the point), if only he knew how to draw like Keith does.

Lance can’t take this, his heart’s too weak.

He wants to bury his face in Keith’s ruffled hair, wants to breathe him in, wants to have him in his arms, wants to touch, but he seems so out of reach like this. Lance curls his fingers into fists, aching to touch. He restrains himself from charting pale, fading freckles down with his fingertips.

It… it’s very distracting, is what it is.

Keith scrunches up his nose, grumbles and throws an arm over his eyes. Lance’s breath catches in his throat.

Lance… Lance is fucked, he knows he’s fucked, he already knew that then (when Keith suggested this… arrangement), he knows that now, he’s known that for some time now, but it never fails to catch him by surprise. This… feeling never fails to overwhelm him. He fucking hates this… whatever this is, he has no fucking word for this… feeling. It claws at his throat, it kicks him the gut, it scorches his heart, it clenches his heart in a death-grip, it steps on it, it rips his heart apart.

Lance covers his face in his hands and rubs, groaning in frustration. This is ridiculous. He forces himself to look away, and focuses on drilling a hole into the wall with the force of his glare instead, running his tongue over one of his canines.

Do not distract yourself with cheesy rom-com bullshit, bitch, he scolds himself, Write. Yes, writing is good. Stressful, but good. Go back to writing. Avoid contact. Don’t look. Avert your eyes. Work. You’ve got work to do, so do it.

After about five or so minutes of glaring despondently into fucking space and hating himself for being pathetic, he does. He’s always been good at taking all his frustrations on his writing.

He pulls his laptop into his lap, opens it, double taps, and the document appears on the screen. The cursor blinks curiously at him, he blinks back, and sighs. He starts scanning it for typos, and corrects them, all the while grumbling about how fucking stupid he is, and how fucking stupid all those mistakes were.

He adds some of the worst expletives in big, bold and italic capital letters next to shitty, weird ass sounding paragraphs that don’t ever seem to get any better, even after rewriting them seven thousand three hundred and eighty-four fucking times. Doesn’t matter how many times he tries, how many times he bangs his fists on the keyboard, how hard he hits the keys, the words don’t ever seem to come out quite right.

Rinse, lather, repeat.

“¡BESA MI CULO, PUTO!” He snaps at one particularly dumb typo, and deletes its whole sentence out of spite.

Keith stirs, and groans next to him, turning his body towards Lance. Lance tenses, holding his breath and sitting very still until he’s super sure, 100% Keith won’t wake up. Keith sighs obliviously in his sleep, and turns on his stomach. Lance lets out a relieved breath, closing his eyes.

He snaps them open and shakes his head in frustration, “No seas tonto, Lance.”

He hits ctrl-z and skips the paragraph entirely, jumping to two paragraphs bellow, he reads it and gasps, “¿Qué carajo? Who wrote this? A fiveslgfjdjdfds.” A hand lands on the side of his face with a smack, smooching his cheek. Lance screams, - of course he does, how could he not. - and almost falls off the bed.

“SHUT YOUR ROTTEN MOUTH, I’M TRYING TO SLEEP,” Keith growls at him, voice raspy, and low, and terrifying. Even muffled by the pillow and drowsy, his voice doesn’t lose its aggressive edge. What the fuck.

Lance, after recovering his soul, turns his head so he can stare at Keith with raised brows, and huffs, “Hella lot of words coming from a sleeping person, I’d say.”

Keith groans and lifts his face off the pillow, glaring at him through squinty eyes, “Shut that fucking trap, you moldy piece of bread, or get out.”

“This is my fucking room, Keith,” Lance sputters, snapping his laptop shut for added effect, “you get out.”

“I’M SLEEPING, PISS OFF,” Keith kicks at Lance’s leg with enough force to bruise.

“OW! CAREFUL WITH MY COMPUTER, YOU BRUTE!”

Keith grumbles, turning his back to Lance and covering his head with Lance’s comforter. He curls into a ball, shutting Lance out.

Lance relocates his grumpy ass to the couch after flipping an oblivious, snoring Keith off.

He loves the guy, but damn, can he be an asshole so-

…Wait, did he just-

Oh, hell no.

10:34 A.M.

He’s avoiding the huge ass, one-sided, and glittery elephant in the room, he’s avoiding the fuck out of it. He’ll avoid the fuck out of it until it goes away, until it disappears for good, until it goes to fucking hell, until it’s burning in the fifth circle of hell.

He has no time for this.

This project is worth 40% of his grade.

His prof’s a mad man, yeah, but that’s how it is. He won’t flunk this class just because he can’t control his feelings.

He can’t, won’t, jeopardize his project just because of fucking feelings.

¡No, de ninguna puta manera!

He needs a shower.

And a joint.

And coffee.

Tons of coffee.

But a shower first, then facials, then weed, then coffee.

Tons of coffee.

He’ll also down a shot of tequila, because he’s feeling adventurous.

(Reckless, he means reckless.)

1:45 P.M.

Lance’s minding his own business, stirring his way into his fifth?? possibly, probably, he’s not sure, cup of coffee, and stuffing his face with ham and pineapple pizza rolls in the kitchen after smoking a whole joint by himself in the bathroom, when he hears it. It is terrifying. A dull thud reverberates through the apartment, echoed by it; the most earth-shattering, ear-splitting shriek he’s ever heard.

“LANCE!”

He freezes, his heart plummets.

His spoon drops and clatters on the floor.

“LANCE, YOU’RE FUCKING DEAD,” the deity roars.

Lance squeaks like a fucking mice, and squats, hiding behind the counter.

Run. Pack your things and go, get out of town. Flee to Europe, change your name-

He presses his overheated cheek to the counter and sighs, so good. He grins wide.

Keith’s feet smack on the floor as he stomps, over-aggressively, I dare add, out of Lance’s room, “What the fuck did you do to my ass, you rotten egg?” His voice is louder now, much louder. Lance jumps mid giggle-fit, which sets him off into another one.

“ME!” Lance peers over the countertop and raises his hand, waving sluggishly and cackling, bloodshot eyes wide. Well, as wide as they can go, which, honestly, isn’t much, considering, “I DID THE FUCK! I PUT MY DICK IN - HAH - YOUR ASS! YOU LET ME - HAHAH - IT WAS WILD!”

Keith takes a long look at him and, like a flip has switched, his scowl melts and he bursts out laughing, his nose crinkling up. It’s so fucking adorable, Lance’s heart hurts. It burns. It screams in pain. Lance laughs the pain away like the idiot he is, or maybe just because he’s high as fuck. One can never be too sure, ya feel.

“I know that, you fucking stoner, I mean THE BRUISES.” He points at his bare hips, trying to catch his breath.

Lance’s eyes travel south.

Helloooo there, legs.

Wait, he went too far.

Go back two frames.

There, hips.

Lance blinks, and tries to open his eyes further. He can’t.

He blinks again.

Oh.

Ho boy, he did a number on the guy alright.

Also, this part is super wild, bare with him, it looks weirdly… beautiful? It’s gorgeous, actually. It’s a masterpiece, Lance is an artist.

The red and purple splotches scattered across Keith’s skin are… kind of blurring together in one big ass bruise, that reminds him oddly of the Milky Way. Lance fights hard against the white urge to draw an alien-head above Keith’s hipbone. Keith probably wouldn’t mind it, though. The nerd. Lance chuckles.

Keith clears his throat.

Lance flicks his eyes up at Keith, blinks languidly at him several times. Keith’s waiting for something, isn’t he? What is it again? He rakes his brain for an answer. It beeps.

Ah, yeah.

An answer, right. He needs to answer Keith, duh.

Lance cackles at his stupidity.

“Oh, that.” Lance wipes his eyes on his sleeve in between chuckles as he finally answers, sniffing. He braces his arms on the counter and pushes himself up on his feet, winking, “I’m not sorry about that.” He lies his torso on the counter, smooching his cheek against the cool surface, and shoots Keith a lopsided smile.

Keith shakes his head, “You’re an idiot.”

“Yeah, but you looooooove me,” Lance sing-songs, finger gunning lazily with a grin.

Keith rolls his eyes fondly, and gets closer, dragging one of the stools from under the counter, and sitting down gingerly, wincing a little. His eyes flicker swiftly to something as he settles, before they land on Lance again. Keith frowns, “Should you be drinking coffee?”

Lance frowns back, puzzled, turning his head so he can look at his mug. “Shouldn’t I?” He wonders.

Keith leans over the counter, elbows propped up, and starts picking idly at one of the pizza rolls sitting pretty on the plate in front of him, “It doesn’t affect your high?”

Lance gasps. His pizza rolls. “No touching, you fugly mullet, it’s mineeeeee,” Lance whines, reaching forward and swatting Keith’s fugly hand away. He snatches the plate from Keith and brings it closer to himself, tucking it in between his arms, away from pizza roll-thieving mullets. Lance sticks out his tongue at him, before fitting two of the biggest rolls in his mouth. At the same time. For emphasis. His cheeks puff out.

Keith ducks his head to hide his grin. “You look like a chipmunk,” he comments nonchalantly, tapping his knuckles idly on the surface.

“Nhobowdshy ashkd yuh, Puhtrish,” Lance shoots back.

Keith rolls his eyes and flips him off with both hands, leaning back on his stool.

Lance flashes him the half-chewed food.

“Fuck, that’s gross.”

“Ah.” Lance struggles to swallow all of it dry, but manages, “I forgot to - clears throat - answer, coffee doesn’t affect my high much.” He shrugs, taking a bite off one of the rolls. Keith hums.

Lance swallows, “Pass me the straw, please. The long, bendy one.” He gestures a thumb back.

Keith slides from the stool in one smooth movement, makes his way around the counter and goes for the drawers. Lance hears as it slides open, “Which color?”

“Purple,” Lance answers over his shoulder.

He stretches his arm when Keith pulls the straw out and makes a grabby hand at him.

“Oh no, you don’t,” Keith holds the straw over his head.

“Gimme, or I’ll punch your di-I-i-aaAAAAAah,” he tries to steal the straw from Keith, but loses his footing and almost dives face-first into the cold, hard floor. “¡Coño!” He fumbles to keep upright, hooking a hand on the edge of the other side of the counter. Thank fuck for long fingers.

Lance manages to get his balance back by planting his feet firmly on the ground. Keith makes his way back to his stool, and once he’s settled, he hands Lance the straw already stretched. Keith’s lips quiver in a poorly concealed attempt not to laugh, eyes twinkling mirthfully.

Lance rolls his eyes as he throws the straw into his cup, propping himself on his elbow and resting his chin on his palm.

Keith makes gagging sounds, bangs falling on his eyes.

Lance ignores him in order to bring the straw to his lips with his free hand, and suck the coffee, swallowing in an obnoxiously loud gulp.

Keith’s nose wrinkles in disgust. “You’re gross,” Keith comments, tucking his hair behind his ears.

“Thanks, I try,” Lance grins around his straw, then frowns at Keith’s bare chest. “Shouldn’t you put on some clothes, though?” Lance asks, eyes half-lidded, “It’s freezing, Keith.”

Keith raises an eyebrow, looking down. “Off-topic, but no, Lance, it’s not,” he shoots Lance a look, rubbing the bridge of his nose, “And how would you know, anyway? You’re high.”

“What’s this jealousy I’m feeling? There’s more, you know.” He pats the breast pocket of his sweatshirt with a dopey smile, and meets Keith’s eyes as he takes a sip, waggling his brows. He swallows and winks, “Don’t need to get all broody on me, grumpy pants.”

Keith hides his face on his arms and groans. Lance can see the blush rising on Keith’s neck, and allows himself a mental pat on the back as he pushes himself upright.

“Okay, let’s go,” Lance trots towards his bedroom.

3:32 P.M.

When they sober up enough to get stuff done, they throw themselves on the couch, legs tangled because why not, right? It’s not like Lance’s life makes any sense, anyway.

Lance with the camera in his hands and laptop on his stomach, Keith with his headphones around his ears, and one of his weird, edgy sci-fi books resting on his thighs.

Lance rests his head on the armrest and hits play.

Keith’s feet tap a comforting rhythm against Lance’s.

4:02 P.M.

Keith falls asleep against the couch, mouth slightly open.

Lance does a poor job at reducing the volume of his laughter at his dramatics on video. Even though Keith’s got his headphones on, Lance still manages to wake him up, and ends up getting kicked in the shin by a very rumpled, grumpy, and over-sized baby with a fugly mullet for that.

He tries not to laugh again.

…He fails miserably, and both his shins suffer.

Terribly.

4:30 P.M.

Because Lance has shit luck, and the universe is out to get him, they didn’t manage to catch Keith’s o-face on video. Life is unfair, God hates him, Jesus hates him, even Buddha must hate him, because this, right here, has got to be some sort of twisted divine punishment. Maybe it’s Karma, maybe he was a murderer in his past life, he doesn’t know. What he does know, though, is that this must be fixed.

“Dude,” he kneels on the couch and shakes Keith’s knee to wake him up, “Dude. DUDE!”

Keith’s eyes flutter open and he squints at Lance, blinking blearily, utterly confused.

Lance sits back on his heels and he offers Keith the camera, “Look.”

Keith, while frowning up at him, sits up and takes it. He yawns, unplugging his headphones from his phone and into the camera. He hits play.

Keith snaps the camera shut after about ten minutes, a furious blush burning his high cheekbones and the bridge of his nose. He still looks mildly confused, though, and astoundingly flustered, bringing his knees to his chest.

Lance bites on his bottom lip and heaves a huge breath. “We’ll have to tape chapter 1 again,” he clarifies.

Keith lifts an eyebrow, face still bright red, “Because…”

“I can’t see your face when you’re coming, dude.” Lance explains, waving his hands at the camera in exasperation, “That’s unacceptable, you know. really preposterous. “But- I’m awake now, dipshit, quit shaking me,” He snaps, batting Lance’s hands away from his knees, “But… don’t you remember my face when I was actually coming yesterday?”

So, you see… remember when Lance mentioned he has shit luck, and the universe is out to get him, and some sort of divine punishment is being inflicted upon him? There’s another reason to back up that assessment.

They not only hadn’t caught Keith’s o-face on video, but he also didn’t get to see Keith’s o-face in living color yesterday because he had his fucking eyes closed. Which rude, Lance. That is just plain rude. There’s no excuses. That’s probably why God, Jesus, and Buddha hate you this much.

Lance hangs his head. “I- I had my eyes closed,” he confesses, accepting defeat.

“You’re hopeless.”

Lance’s head shoots up and he gasps, “Excuse!”

“No,” Keith stands up abruptly, almost kneeing Lance’s nose in the process.

Lance squawks and reels back, out of reach, eyes wide, “Wha-”

“Shut the fuck up, you dry raisin,” Keith glares accusingly at him and Lance flinches, “I’ll fix this.”

“Kei-”

Keith’s arm shoots up, and he points his index finger at Lance, thick eyebrows pinched. “Stay put,” he warns, waving his finger, “don’t fucking move, don’t breathe.”

Lance is too confused to react, or even say anything, so he just gapes.

“Just… stay there, I’ll be quick.”

Keith returns buck naked, with a dildo and the lube in hands.

Lance’s at a loss, he’s a loss for words, his sass is gone, along with his ability to form coherent thoughts. Keith has that effect on him, apparently. Keith always finds a way to give Lance whiplash.

Keith dumps the stuff on the coffee table and turns his attention to Lance, he chuckles at what he sees there, “Shut your mouth, Lance, you’ll catch a fly.”

Lance finds his voice. “Wha-” he clears his throat, and shakes his head before continuing, “What the fuck?” (Eloquent.)

Keith rolls his eyes as he picks up the camera, “You’re gonna tape me as I touch myself.”

Keith hands Lance the camera.

“I don’t…” Lance takes it, still completely dumbfounded.

Keith cuts him off, “I told you I’d fix this, didn’t I? So this is me, fixing it.”

Something in Lance’s brain seems to click.

“Oh,” he replies dumbly.

Oh no, is what he means, no fucking way. He’s gonna die today.

Yup, today is the day.

“Okay, so…” Keith claps his hands, “scooch over, I need the space.”

Lance’s eyes widen, “You really gonna do this here? On the couch?”

“Is there a problem?”

Yes. There’s a ton of problems, actually. Not with Keith doing it on the couch, but still, there’s a problem. Tons of problems. These problems have problems. For one, Lance will probably die. For two, he can’t do this anymore. He can’t but he has to, and he will because his project is worth 40% of his final grade, he will because he has to. He has the moral duty to prove to Keith, and to himself, that he, as a matter of fact, can do this, even if he’ll end up hurt. Fuck his feelings.

“No, no, nope, no problem at all. I’m all up for jerking off on the couch, sign me the fuck up. It’s just…” Lance blows a raspberry, scratching the back of his head, looking around the room, uncertain. He can’t meet Keith’s eyes, “it looks too cramped, I think? I was just, uhm, thinking that maybe, I don’t know, you’d prefer doing this on a bed?”

Keith snorts, “Nah, it’s okay.”

Lance finally looks at him, searching his face, “You sure? Like, 100%?”

Keith rolls his eyes, “Yes Lance, don’t worry, just… keep the camera on me.”

Lance sits upright, crisscrossing his legs, and points the camera at Keith.
