me reminding dd players that so much of the worldbuilding and lore is inferred from npc dialogue and their routines and that you really should be paying attention to what anyone and everyone has to say because the series design intentionally wants you to look out for these things rather than just drop it on your lap and that's not necessarily a design flaw that's just their way of storytelling to line up with the game's thesis

Also, you say you have gamer disease in your pinned post, does this included Portal, Stanley Parable, and/or Undertale (to name some tumblr classics) or Superliminal as well as Hypnospace Outlaw (to name some less well known games of similar genre)? I have gamer disease for weird niche games that are more about the vibes than the game and thus can’t find anyone who likes them as much as me, so I am searching for someone who will understand my obsession 🤞👀

it does include all those tumblr classics lmao but not superliminal or hypnospace outlaw! I've heard of them, just haven't made time to try them yet

current gamer disease for me is mostly lethal company and as of like. yesterday? darkest dungeon. darkest dungeon On The Brain. got lisa the terrible, fear & hunger, and tentatively kill knight in the queue. AND SHADOW OF THE ERDTREE AAAAAAA
