[ They are so, so, so passionate about their muses it's insane. I guarantee if you listen to him talk about his muses, you'll fall in love with them in like 5 minutes at most. There's just so much thought and emotion put into each of them! Bun's also extremely supportive of other muns and their muses, just absolutely filled with positivity and kindness (even when people deserve the aforementioned biting.) Below is me rambling about hypothetical's involving @dcwnthercbbithcle's OC Nurse Ophelia Penwell. I talk a lot so I'm putting a keep reading!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just thinking about Ophelia's visit to 230. Easel (at that point) would absolutely despise his nickname as he wouldn't trust Ophelia and thinks the nickname is an act to befriend him to take him back to the Gallery

And Yam...wouldn't actually be there yet. As after Ophelia visited the earthquake happened and after that Yam fled to 230 with the help of then Site Director Enigma

oh but another thing! (Ramble incoming)

Thinking of a hypothetical scenario where Ophelia stays at 230 and/or is turned human/was always human: She would love it there. Especialy since it's well after Enigma's plan is enacted and staff is encouraged to be loving and supportive? Ophelia would have to be held back from adopting them all. Hanging out with them in the inner courtyard, listening to them ramble, helping as much as she could with their abilities, patching up the littles' scrapes.

While it isn't mentioned a lot, 230 is home to sapients from all across the age spectrum, so Ophelia could also be seen helping the elderly to their rooms, maybe help deliver food to a sick adult couple, or help a teen trying to learn chess?

Not to mention she might also really want to help the foundlings, especially if they aren't anomalous and help them feel like they belong in a place seemingly dominated by anomalous folk.

Maybe Ophelia would like the anomalous pets they have on site too? (Unless she's allergic of course... can paintings have allergies?)

Of course the only problem in this hypothetical is that it would mean she's cut off from her polycule and the rest of her skip family and friends. Perhaps some of the skips she befriends offers a dimensional warp service? who knows.

Couldn’t help myself but to do this for Doe while I’m on the road, the backwards slash is a kinda? Doe KNOWS how to use her little knife she keeps hidden in her boot. She’s not dumbly slashing, but there is nothing formal about her training. Doe went to the school of ‘older street rats begrudgingly showing you how to live on the roads or die trying’

ANYWHO

Doe is sliding this over, face up to the world, no shame in her many bingos. In fact, she seems PROUD of it, it would be easy to imagine a triumphant snort when she’d finished filling it out. Thankfully though, it seems Doe isn’t intent on rubbing it into HUNK’s face, instead, she’s restrained, or at least as restrained as Doe CAN be. Maybe thanks for HUNK being one of the better ones, or maybe cause there’s be no entertainment to be found through the Ruby red eye pieces. Irregardless, she responds:

As if on cue his hand juts out, slamming the drawer beside him quickly before she has the chance to stick her little paws inside of it.

Throughout this his gaze discreetly lowers to the watch on his wrist. Sure enough more than a few hours had already passed since he had sat down and began working. A frustration sigh escapes him before he raises one elbow to rest against the top of the desk.

Kirb, Kirb, hear me out, I know I’ve sold you on ‘Evan appealing to Phil’s intense empathy and wanting to help people, even though on some moderate to high level he is disgusted by him,’ let me add on a dynamic for you: Evan is a tinker-er. He’s never been an outright mechanic but he loves fixing things and more than that, he loves creating things— I think he and Phil should at least touch on that with each other, if not having a Ghost movie moment with the two of them being in an extremely intimate position working on something together like that spinning pottery scene! Haha

[ OHOHOHEEHEE 👀 Philip has always had a deep love for fixing things up- obviously cars in particular, evidenced by the old junker that's been in the Autohaven garage since he found it amidst the wreckage. As much as he might despise someone, it becomes more and more difficult for him to keep that up when he discovers that shared passion. (And, y'know, the fact that someone was explicitly forced into becoming a monster.) I have a shared headcanon with another homie that Phil leaves tools and useful parts out in easy to find piles for her Deathslinger- I could see him eventually starting to do so for Evan as well, if subconsciously and only slightly at first. ]

So much for him being overbearing on her hospitality! Haha

DARN IT SALLY. Those bottles ain't cheap! Though imagine Ken gifting her some bottles of her own to use.

Like maybe he gets more alcohol from Deathslinger and gives Sally the older bottles.

Do you ever feel like Hux-A7-13 actually has a bit of old code in him, and that plus the entity-blessed higher consciousness makes him actually feel bad deep down about hurting Gabriel? Maybe he was Gabriel's Hux unit, which is why he saved him for last, he wanted to fight this new objective that would mean the end of his handler? And now in the entity's realm he has both sides pleased? The entity of course, but his objective to keep Gabriel alive succeeded too

Valentine’s Day Application (not sure if you wanted this to be specific to a character so woe! Doe be upon ye!)

Name: Doe [marked with two exclamation points, dotted with hearts. It’s almost infuriating how fitting Doe’s penmanship seems to carry the timber and weight of her voice. Neat, but rounded, curling, playful with letters so close they seem to flow, one into the other. Not to even mention the small doodles she’s left to denote her expressions.]

Age: 19-23 [the numbers are marked with a question mark, and a small drawing of a person shrugging. She doesn’t know the pinpointed age. Sorry!]

Do you like to cuddle?: Are you asking me if I dislike SUNSHINE?? [the word is underlined twice, to denote its importance,] I love cuddling! Best way to end a full day and start a new one! [was that a pun?? Dammit Doe, you know she was smiling writing that]

Can we make-out?: Depends— Are you okay with tongue? [the statement is playful, even in writing and followed by a smiley face sticking out its tongue, but it seems like Doe’s had a change of heart about leaving the question with a half-earnest joke for an answer] (the answer is yes though, just maybe not with people around!)

A night in or dinner out?: [Doe was obviously having a hard time making up her mind on this one, the page was written over and erased several times over, in the end she settled on] Whatever works for you!

Whip cream or chocolate syrup?: Whipcream!

Chocolates and roses?: if that’s what your into! I think it’s a little overdone, [she’s drawn a tongue out smiley face] I mean, I can understand the romance, especially if you LIKE flowers. It’s just not for me, I’m an experiencea kind of girl! The 35 dollars for flowers and chocolates which would much better spent on a bit of gas and a trip into a park together to look at nature, pet dogs and hang out.

What makes you a good Valentine?: Well, I’m interested for starters! I’m also cute, look great in jeans, will present for the occasion. Good sense of humor. Happy to be armcandy to impress friends. Plus I even PROMISE to laugh at all your jokes, even ones that are so bad even you groan! Cross my heart!

Would you cook for me?: Duh, I’m taking you out!

♢ - to patch up a wound on my muse

A slow and steady trickle drips down his fingers. Rolling across the exposed skin and pelting the floor below. The puddle that has collected beneath him is darkening to a thick, congealed mess but he does not move to clear it away. Even his own blood smells delightful to him now. Rich and sweet, with coppery notes that make the stinging sensation almost tolerable. 

He should not have broken through that window. He did not need to do it. Except that it made a point. 

Even now he recalls the dawning horror of the smug survivors that had hovered behind it, so convinced they were protected by the shards that blocked his way. The cut that snagged his arm was worth the suffering it had caused. It was worth it to watch the arrogance fade to terror. Their pulse never stopped racing, not until the light had faded from them. 

When she appears he expects it to be in the form of threats and lecture. Rage at what he had done. Offense for the way he’d broken the rules of The Entity’s game. But really - was choking someone to death any worse than what they usually saw? 

Lifting his head, he spots the bright red kit as she plunks it down onto the desk. Wriggling one hand in a gesture towards his arm. 

He does not move. Doe has been talking nonstop since she walked into the room but he doesn’t even take in the words. They become a steady stream in the backdrop of his mind. Music playing in the distance until she stubbornly repeats herself:  “Let me see that arm.”

She isn't phased by the scorned look he casts at her. When she returns a smile back, he feels his brow furrow.

God she was a cheeky one.
