Like the smallest thing or like, taped a flower to suns rays or moons headdress (does it have a specific name please tell me if it does) how would the boys react?

Great question! I would say yes to the boys flustering easy but they fluster differently if that makes sense.

Moon: Moon I would say flusters the easiest. Though he handles “flirts” from guests with ease, (giving a witty/charming one-liner to keep it professional and lighthearted) he knows it’s part of the job and nothing is serious, but if y/n did or said anything flirtatious to Moon he would freeze up XD

With guests this usually happens during luau’s between when he’s performing or working the bar. Moon realizes guests are just enjoying themselves and mean nothing inappropriate when they’re having fun with flirtatious banter, it’s part of his job to be engaging and pleasant so he doesn’t really mind. That’s why y/n showing any affectionate interest in him would come as such a shock, he never thought about someone being genuinely interested in him that way. Poor guy needs some time to adjust.

Sun: Now Sun is an oddball to me, I’m still trying to understand him and his emotions myself haha. Sun REALLY blurs the lines between platonic and romantic affection, he is in general a very loving guy. With guests personal space is a foreign concept to him, of course he is still very professional and can judge an appropriate situation/person, but he just has a talent for being able to connect with guests so their comfortable with his playful antics. With Y/N however his actions areeeeee a mixed bag I guess, (think of it like a magic fruit basket, Sun is giving you a variety of fruits in one package, if you choose to only take out oranges then it’s an orange basket, if you want to take out apples and oranges then it’s an apple and oranges basket, pick out whichever you like it’s all there but you don’t have to accept anything you don’t like, he’s letting you decide what you want your basket to be made up of) weird analogy I know but it’s what I thought of

Anywhoo for Sun to catch on that an act is flirtatious it has to be clear or at least catch him off guard! Little note here, Suns pupils disappear when he’s flustered from y/n. It’s a lil scary at first, in the illustrated instance this is the first time of this happening and it may be mistaken as Sun freezing but he was very much there and would have returned the gesture if not for the pool noodle -whack- lol

Hmm sunnies job is probably risky but its not as necessary as moons and theres a lack of obligation to cheering people up as opposed to, helping them with something traumatic that could cause harm to their health if prolonged like nightmares and bad sleep quality

Of course it would be interesting if sunny does something else and we as a reader and moon dont know about it because sunny thinks moon would try to stop him

Well, I do have my favorite errors of hygiene and mischief, I love them, no matter what design you give them. I just see them and I immediately start fawning over them. They are adorable.

Ahaha 😆 I stick spiky spider legs on his eyeballs so he looks just like, EXTRA when his eyes are wide. Also so he can bat them like the pretty girl he is.

As for his *ehem* tatas, there’s specific sketch I can think of where I miiiiight’ve overemphasized a bit their voluptuousness (sometimes i too have been known to let the animal in me hold the reigns). Also i play a bit loosey goosey with style 😅

But I do imagine them with a certain necessary muscularity given their previous vocation (and their current after-hours diversions). Moon in particular always has been the more athletic of the two and I think stays in shape cause it helps him work off steam.

Hiya, back home now ^^ this is gonna be a real quick update post. From now on I'll be expanding a bit with my posts since drawing only the dca led to major burnout (which I didn't know I had until I was focibly made to take a break LOL) so expect like general fnaf, pressure, art of the fnaf minecraft server I'm in ect ect... (there will still be a major focus on the dca!!! just expect more than one non dca post a month)

Other than that, I'll be using my sona around a little more I think? So that this blog is more 'me' rather than only being a dca blog yk (and also so it's less of a shock whenever I change my pfp since It'll be the same character each time, rip moon pfp febuary - august 2024)

I've been microwaving this song in my head for so long. I’m so happy you like my waterpark au!!!

I’ve always had a huge love and appreciation for theme parks and themed entertainment (plus waterparks are really nostalgic to me!) and I thought screw it I’m combining my two favorite things, the dca and waterparks, and making an au!

And yayyy so happy you like the designs I really wanted to go all out with their theming without making them to complicated to draw haha.

Im currently trying to write the au and I’m so excited for it but this is also my first time so please be patient with me :)

It makes me so happy to see people actually interested in my silly water boys and I love hearing about other people’s fond memories of going to a waterpark it makes me kick my feet!!!

I keep seeing this sentiment in tags, asks and comments! I personally LOVE many different artists’ and writers’ humanized DCA designs, but I do also understand why they aren’t for everybody.

Even those who enjoy other transformative AUs (mer, cryptid, etc.) may not find human designs especially compelling. I saw a post circulating around a while ago (can’t find it now for the life of me) with some interesting discussion on the matter, how human designs might lack a certain otherness that many in the fandom revel in. The DCA crechur as a concept, for me, is a one with deeply relatable humanistic traits but also one that remains alien and strange despite how closely we come to know them.

In the case of my own AU, they may be human but you can say they’re still very much other because of their little slashing habit. They’re always going to be different and strange and dangerous to those around them because of the moral line they’ve crossed, no matter their motivations.

Visually-speaking, when I first started drawing them, it was very important for me to not “de-weird” the DCA if I could avoid it. I wanted to translate as many of the physical characteristics of their canon design to their human one as I semi-realistically could: long noses, sharp angularity, unsettling smiles, big hands, snatched waists, stretched gangly limbs. Basically I emphasized the same characteristics in the human design as I do when I draw them canon. And ofc I added a couple fun bits I just like to draw on people :3c.

(Also, btw, I worry that people just think I’m yassifying them or something 😭🙏 i mean yaaa they’re weird pretty birds but I hope you guys can tell that they mean I lot more to me than that. Love your thirsty comments though—they thoroughly tickle me.)
