Seconding previous anon, this sounds like a scam

Did the person asking for the commission insist on using this app over something more common? Are they offering to pay more money than your commissions are usually worth? Are they asking for something vague (for example "draw a pet" or "whatever you want") and putting pressure on time ("it's for a birthday soon")?

No, that’s the thing. They have a specific person they wanted me to draw (it was their daughter and I reversed image searched it and everything)

I’ll say the payment thing was kinda on me because they never insisted on anything, they had a few other options for me to choose from that they had. I just didn’t ask many questions, so I’ll take the blame for that. I’m pretty sure if I did insist on using PayPal, they would have just said no thanks and moved on.

It just didn’t seem weird enough for it to be anything. So at the very least, if it is a scam, it was a more elaborate one.

But everything is fine. My parents lectured me and yelled at me, so I’m just gonna leave it and wait for someone else.

I'm an idiot so take it with a big ol' thing of salt, but it sounds like you might be mid-process in getting scammed. A friend had something similar happen and it was a scam.

I get the concern, but I would need some more information. The transferring app is legitimate, it’s just the way that it works is stupid. Most accounts require you to put a specific amount of money on the account before you can even use it, so I get the concept, it just could be easier to use. It needs me to upgrade it to a business account in order to accept the 500 dollars. I did my research, and still I was extra careful.

Not a super big deal, just make some extra money for school because the economy hates me and the job market is a myth at this point.

Neither of them have free time because they are either taking care of children or off. (They have to save battery)

As a result, Jinks seems very neurotic with the way he obsesses over small tasks in order to seem busy. Depending who’s on shift, though, he doesn’t have to worry as much. His favorite activity is handing out snacks for everyone. It means that he gets to learn about allergies and favorite foods that he’ll later beg staff members to buy as a treat for them. He needs a reason to stay. Any reason.
