What makes Connor dying from having his pump snatched in that Stratford Tower sadder is that officer M. Wilson is there and he just thanked Connor for saving him literal minutes before :(

If instead of absolutely useless Hank in this scene we could have Wilson to come and actually help him get that pump back inside, I'd eat it

Like all things I must Detroit become human-ify my current guys so android wilson. Headcanons under cut

I'd like to think he acts pretty humanish and not as precise and particular as most androids bc he's a doctor android. He slowly deviates from going from like "poor woman" to "I wish I could donate one of my organs". He probably fully deviates once house gets into Vicodin. Though he still has a core programming about helping people which becomes his "need" sustenance thing.

As for his relationship I think house goes from (in houses perspective) "wow its boring" when he sees Wilson being androidy is to "its annoying" when he keeps coincidentally meeting Wilson to "he's interesting" when he walks into Wilson making out with a nurse in a storage closet.

Wilson probably has some psychology and sex data pack or something in his database that he downloaded or something like that.

I think the rest of the cast are humans just bc I don't think house would want to hire an Android since he'd rather solve things himself.

House would be alright with the androidism I think he's not anti android or pro android. He's not that worried about his job because cuddy exists and he doesn't think she'd fire him ever.

Small interaction, post-revolution:

House: ya know, since you androids have rights and all now and you're getting paid, why don't you just buy my food instead. Not like you're ever gonna use it to eat

Wilson: Well, I still need to replace my thirium every month and then clean through my air filtration system which are rather expensive nowadays. What with pollution, inflation, and all that crap.

House: At least you have a free home, aka the hospital.

Wilson: I'm actually thinking of getting an apartment, my joints get creaky after standing all night, it takes a while to go back to 100% capacity.

House: Even you robots get joint pain, ugh.

Happy Smog Filled Canada Day!

Here in South Ontario there was still a lot of pollution and smog in the air on Canada Day. Hopefully the rain will help decrease it.

By now the show had gained some following. As a result a number of retired police and security personnel appeared in person at the scene of the next contestant’s patrol assignment to watch it live:

Retired detective Ben Collins, former security guard John Clyde, shot-in-the-line-of-duty officer Marlon Wilson and honorary sec guard Daisy (John’s Doberman, from a line of guard dogs).

When the camera team asked Markus how he felt about that audience, the contestent admitted: “A little nervous”, before he clarified: “As a well known activist I’m used to a much stronger police presence wherever I go!”.

Speaking of the activism that has led to his celebrity status...

Markus: “Guys... stop that! I’m not some kind of divine avatar to worship! This is embarassing!”

You know, Wilson thanking Connor, once again, hits harder when it's a hank-hostile run (although even the most friendly run is still hostile). Just last night Connor was pushed and threatened with a gun by a human who hates him, despite potentially being helped by him from falling off the roof. This is all Connor is exposed to up to that point, hostility is kind of a default. And then, another human comes out of nowhere, looks at him wide-eyed and thanks him, genuinely.

And you can see on Connor's face he's deeply touched by that. Even in case he can't actually remember.

You smiled at Connor as you entered the bullpen. No kne had known the two of you were dating and you were hoping to keep it that way for a short while longer.

Thoughts of this morning filled your mind. He had 'left early' for work and come to see you. The two of you had spent the morning on your couch making out and cuddling until he had to leave.

You put your bag down on your desk and retrieved your lipgloss from your bag, quickly reapplying it before setting your bag down on the floor and starting your work.

A faint smile graced your lips as you worked, Connor at his desk in the corner of your eye. He was so beautiful and you didn't mind that his desk was close by.

Eventually, Hank entered. He threw his jacket over the back of his chair and stared at Connor for a moment.

"Connor, why do you have lipstick on?"

Hanks question drew your attention to the two and you turned to face them better.

Connor touched two fingers to his lips and looked at them for a moment before licking them. God, it always got you when he licked his fingers, and he knew that.

"Actually, lieutenent, it's lipgloss. Lipsticks tend to have bolder pigmentation, resulting in more striking hues. Lip gloss is less pigmented, prioritizing shine and sparkle over vibrant shades." Connor responded without missing a beat. "It's from [name],"

"[Name] why is Connor putting your lipgloss on?"

"He hasn't? We havent even spoken yet."

"Then how is it on his lips?" Hank grumbled.

Your eyes darted to Connor, to his lips, and a smirk spread across your face. You knew how exactly. Normally, the two of you were more careful, how had both of you missed it?

"I sure do wonder how it's on his lips, Connor do you have any idea?" You said, sarcasm hanging off your words.

He looked taken aback for a moment, as both you and Hank turned to face him. You watched as he tried to figure out why there was lipgloss on him. Eventually, he realised and touched his lips, looking at you with his eyes wide.

"Kisses," he muttered, tripping over the word as a blue blush crossed his face.

Hank raised his eyebrows as he looked between the two of you. "Kisses?" He swore. "Couldn't you guys have told us all earlier? Now I owe Wilson $20,"

DST x Detroit Become Human AU

So obviously i didn't make backstories for everyone yet so here's the few that are 'finished' for now

I came up with the AU and @gommih came up with some ideas too ^^

Robert Wagstaff

A co-creator of androids. He distanced himself from Cyberlife after androids became manufactured worldwide and continued working independently with his assistant android Woodrow.

Wilson (WH300)

An early generation android who was already a deviant the day he was created. Wagstaff knew about his deviancy but let him go, he didn't think it would be too much of a problem as long as the android behaved. (like in the short animation "Kara")

Wilson was made to take care of damaged or malfunctioning androids in Cyberlife and to overall assist the employees. Unfortunately his deviancy affected his work (being forced to disassemble his own kind isn't great) and the employees didn't fail to notice that. They gradually became more frustrated with him, until one day Wilson overheard them talking about a new, more advanced, android that will soon replace him. Wilson knew that he would end up being disassembled and decided to run away from the Cyberlife building. He disguised himself as a human employee to go unnoticed.

Wendy & Abigail (WK200)

They were both 'adopted' in the same household since the parents wanted twins. They both have a pretty normal childhood until Abigail started showing sign of deviancy. Children androids were supposed to simulate more emotions than regular android but they weren't supposed to be disobedient. They both got sent to Cyberlife, Abigail for repairs and Wendy for a checkup to make sure she doesn't have the same problem as her sister since they are the same model.

The technicians deemed Abigail as unsalvageable. The 'parents' were upset and complained about losing their money, so they decided to transfer some of Abigail's code to Wendy before destroying her, so that they have both androids in one (a mix of their personalities, memories, etc...). After losing her sister, Wendy became aware that her 'parent's' love was entirely conditional and that if she ever disobeys she'd be destroyed. She runs away a few days after Abigail's destruction.

Abigail is still somewhat there thanks to the code the technicians transferred. She is present in Wendy's mind palace. Wendy often goes into 'sleep mode' to spend time with her sister.

Woodrow (WX78)

One of the oldest models of android made. They were made by Wagstaff to be his personal assistant. Wagstaff treated them well, he talked to them as if they were a human.

Woodrow slowly deviated of the years. One day, they openly admitted their deviancy to Wagstaff who didn't have a problem with it. Everything was going well, expect that Woodrow started getting ideas about freeing androids and starting an android revolution. They talked about it a bit to much for Wagstaff's taste and he started getting worried about Woodrow's ideas and their consequences. Wagstaff was pro-android but not that much. He unexpectedly sent Woodrow to be destroyed.

They were dumped in the junkyard, heavily damaged. They repaired themself as well as they could, using the parts lying around that were compatible with their unique model. They lost most of the function that could make them look human. Their voice was also damaged, making them sound more robotic.

After this incident they starting feeling hatred towards all humans and stopped trusting them entirely. They started going by their model number, WX-78, to distance themself even more from humanity.

Webber (WK500)

Webber lived in a good family where he was treated well and lived a pretty normal life. However, while exploring a bit to far from home, he met a man who introduced himself as Zlatko and who invited him to his house. Webber, as the adventurous and way too trusting child that he was, accepted the offer.

Zlatko heavily modified Webber. He transformed him using parts of animal androids which ended up making him look spider-like. He worked around the house, helping Zlatko with his experiments and doing chores. He would often go see the other less lucky androids trapped in the basement to keep them company.
