Truth is Connor would be the one pushing Hank into dating women dude would be "wtf NO🤦🏾‍♂️🙅🏾‍♂️😤🙄" cuz he knows this kinda topic may piss Hank off. I think if was someone his age, divorced and with kids (or had kids) he maybe would agree to just talk, not exactly go the romantical way. I just know bro would also ask Hank if dude would date android girls just to see Hank "Jesus fucking christ ❌❌ they deserve better".

Then the questions switch back to Connor and dude get like "oh, hm, ??? 🤔 Idk". "What? Do you like men?" then Connor proceeds to explain all android-mode why such things doesn't matter that much for androids and ask the same question back and Hank get, like, "say what?" *pikachu surprised face* "I don't think I go there". But, really, I can see Connor being the type of person curious about people's story but not actually seeking this whole "have a girlfriend" and shit fr, y'know? But he ain't like Hank who's likely running and just a big "no, thanks".

Idk, Hank is kinda boomer considering the way he was written but he's more chill with homo shit than the average type of character he was built on, I guess cuz the game is in 2038. Cage sayin' Hank is basically CB i can't help but think he would joke like in that livestream xD

I remember a mf I know telling his story (funnily he was born in 85 xD) bout when he was younger and was all bout testing the whole homo thing even if he wasn't the one starting it but never worked for him fr. I'm boutta fit this shit in the conversation.

I mean, this kinda chat between pals will eventually happen, it's just common if you're from the circle. I guess it's a matter of escalation, sometimes it starts with something very simple until curiosity starts taking place.

Private investigator or maybe just a "retired guy" helping the androids in a way like a volunteer. He may be outta the force but he still got lotta contacts, maybe they can be useful. Being out probably gives him more freedom in a way.

We know in both Connor sections he just "wakes up" cuz of the android revolution, gonna still struggle with alcohol but now seems like he got a new mission, a new purpose.

Folks who oppose the headcanon of Hank being back at DPD post revolution, can you please share your alternatives?

"What do you want from me, Markus? I can't pin it down. What am I supposed to be to you?"

Markus turned to Connor surprised by the sudden outburst of questioning. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm built to be the ideal partner. Adapt to become whatever is needed of me. But I can't tell what you want me to be."

Connor looked frustrated. His eyebrows furrowing, jaw tight. Markus wanted to smooth that crease between his brows.

"Connor, I want you to be you."

Connor's LED flashed as he processed that statement. He looked away. Frustration replaced with uncertainty. "You want me to be me?"

"Yes."

"I don't know what that means."

Markus knew the feeling. Every deviant knew that feeling. Finding a sense of self after only knowing life as a machine wasn't easy. But deviants usually found bits of their identity in the things they attached themselves to after deviation. But Connor was trying to find his identity in what others wanted from him. It was what he was programmed to do.

Markus reached up and pressed two fingers between Connor's brows smoothing out the wrinkle between them. He withdrew his hand and placed it on the other's shoulder. "It's okay to not know. We have plenty of time to figure it out." He smiled. "Let's start with something simple. How about you pick a favorite color?"

Connor tilted his head in consideration. His eyes flickered up to meet Markus' before he looked away again.

"Green."

Markus stepped to the side letting the hand on Connor's shoulder slip to the space between his shoulder blades. He lightly guided Connor forward, and they began walking.

"That's a good color."

"I don't believe there are any bad colors when picking subjective favorites."

"True."

Connor met his eyes again, dark brown sparkling with curiosity. "Do you have a favorite color?"

"Brown," he said almost immediately. Markus blinked, surprised with himself.

The truth was, Markus didn't have a favorite color until that very moment. As an artist, he had never picked a favorite because he loved all colors. He could never choose just one. But at least for right now, brown was decidedly his favorite.

Connor nodded. "Interesting."

"What? Did I pick a bad favorite color?" he teased.

Connor's mouth quirked up into a half-smile. "No, it's just an unconventional choice."

"Guess you could say I'm an unconventional guy."

That widened Connor's smile. "I may have only been alive for a short time, but I doubt I will ever meet anyone more unconventional than you."

"Is that a compliment?"

Connor studied Markus' face for a moment. His smile softened. Warm brown eyes glittering like an amber in the sunlight. "Yes, I think it is."

Markus stopped in his tracks as Connor continued to walk forward. His thirium pump was beating fast.

After a few paces, Connor turned around to peer at him with a curious expression. Markus snapped out of his stupor and jogged to catch up to him.

Brown was definitely Markus' favorite color.

i wrote this while trying to write my angsty rk1k enemies to lovers fic bc i needed wholesome rk1k to cleanse my soul. angst with a side of fluff is my jam. prolonged angst with spicy spicy times is much harder on me to write LMAO.

Had a talk with my friend and expanded on the Deviant Nines since his awakening / Machine Connor who refuses to deviate idea

Under the cut for my thoughts about this AU thingy or whatever it is?

So as I said I like the idea of Nines being so advanced that he deviated the moment he was activated, which can only happen (Nines being activated I mean) in a successful Machine Connor Route. I do believe that he'd use his status as the most advanced android to go against his original purpose, without CyberLife's knowledge.

I personally also believe that Connor's loyalty in that specific Route is, while related to Cyberlife and ultimately Amanda, his unwavering loyalty is to his function, his role as THE Deviant Hunter and terminator of "defective machines", seeing everything he did to squash the revolution in that route. I do also believe though that he's a deviant in denial, and would probably resent Amanda, CyberLife and RK900 for replacing him after his success as he is perfectly functional.

He would resent Nines, who's supposed to be a "better" version of him for turning up Deviant, even though Nines saved his life (in this AU), and would go "rogue" trying to fulfill his function with or without CyberLife's approval, because they're just foolish humans trying to get rid of the ONLY loyal machine that is perfectly capable of doing its function. His mission is too important to let anyone interfere, and if CyberLife and his successor are obstacles, well, he'll need to take them out too. (He likes to believe that's the only reason, not the personal resentment he holds, he tells himself that he's a machine, and machines can't feel. Denial is a river in Egypt)

Idk honestly if this makes sense but it's kind of a fun idea to imagine, most fanfics/ fanon dynamics of this Successful Machine Route are of a machine RK900 hunting down a guilty, sad, deviated Connor, but what if it was the opposite? What if the antagonist just kept being Connor? You saw how ruthless he was wiping out a revolution, I don't think he would switch up THAT easily after everything he's done, let him be a bastard for once I'm begging

Now, about the others...

Jokes aside these stores seems to have the alert and the cameras in the same network, if u find one u find another. Knowing they're underground it's just a matter of opening the manhole. If they're outside on a wall or rooftop is even "easier". I honestly doubt they don't share information while in mission.

Breaking the glass is the less of the problems.

I’m really curious about how the other androids aside from Markus&North broke into the Cyperlife stores that they were assigned to.

Cause like it would have to be completely different for all of them. Like Markus&North had it really easy cause the security of the store they broke into was just straight up exposed, and easily accessible.

And their was construction near the store so the rode was also easily blocked.

Like wtf did the others do? How did they get through the tempered glass? What if a specific branch was still open? What if there were still people around?

Like I have so many questions, no answers, and some theories.

Maybe they just straight up hacked the cameras? That seems like something they’d be capable of. But if they were capable of that then why doesn’t Cyberlife have an android dedicated to their digital security?

The more I think about it the more confused I get.

Well, they can drink thirium with 'em mouth so it means 2 things to me:

The liquid goes to a distribution system so that can "wet" all the components through cables

It means we got direct electronic/electric contact

What happens if you throw water or sugar based liquid on ya motherboard or any other computer component with contact? Exactly. Things gonna get SUPER filthy and we can have contact problems (even fry things xD)

I know they're androids and 'em technology it's supposed to be more "durable" but they ain't anti-physics. My theory:

There's a medium % chance they can have communication problems with 'em components?

There's a good % the liquid mixed with the already circulating thirium can make electrical transmission less powerful/efficient?

There's a high % the sugar when dry will leave 🤢 traces and won't be discarded unless someone open 'em and clean that mess?

"Drinking" water SHOULDN'T be a big problem with water proof models BUT we're back at point 2?

If water is a problem, things inside 'em can get fried if we got cable problems (something disconnected) and leaks?

Summary: i ain't got no fucking clue of what to vote. Maybe the option 2? But wouldn't be that drastic, would it? "Harm".

I haven't really seen this discussion in DBH fandom yet, so I'll post it
