I could 100% see Sixty purposely getting too close to Gavin/being overly friendly to Gavin just to piss Nines off.

Sixty already has an inferiority complex when it comes to Nines so showing off and parading his ability to also get close to Gavin and make him feel positive emotions would drive Nines up the wall and Sixty would love it.

Gavin doesn’t mind Sixty so he doesn’t notice the competition that has begun between the two.

Sixty could give two shits about Gavin but making Nines mad and jealous is worth it.

Nines is two seconds away from ripping Sixty’s thirium pump out. He could do it easily. Sixty knows this as well but then Sixty would win.

Nines doesn’t care about the imaginary rivalry Sixty has invented between them but he doesn’t want to look weak and flustered in front of Gavin.
