-> hi, welcome to my musings blog! it's so very nice to meet you.

i'm a roleplayer and this blog originally started out as a separate space from my main to focus on my muses and writing.

however, as of late, i haven't had a lot of time to actually roleplay or write, and i found myself getting quite invested in dc comics instead, so that's what i usually (re)blog about currently. who knows how i'll be feeling a year from now. i'm putting my interests in the tags in case i find more folks who also join them :)

i neither have a fixed byf nor an organised tagging system, it's a wild wild west out here. i will let you know that replying isn't my strong suit and i have a poor memory. please click on my images for higher quality.

aka alison blaire x laura kinney, it's a rarepair pretty much initiated by @rooskayas and me :)

what made you ship it?

the x-terminators comics, particularly the moment when laura's arm gets sliced off and alison tears off a part of her shirt to dress it up even though laura insists it's fine because she has regeneration powers — and then they hold hands together :)

but really, i personally started to see their romantic potential when lia and i started to rp these two and the nuances of their dynamics really resurfaced.

although laura and alison don't interact much in canon, they're the kind of ship to me which provides a lot of fascinating things to explore, really, because of who they are themselves. their personalities and lifestyles are different, but they don't exactly clash, they actually do mesh well because they complement each other quite well —

alison doesn't see laura as a ruthless monster or a cold-hearted weapon, and laura doesn't know about dazzler's past scandals or failures. they both met at the right time, i feel, because they're at this points of their lives where it's like, they both just want to be normal despite their extraordinary lives.

laura wants to come out of her comfort zone and live life a little more as well as become close with her family, and alison has the experience to have seen the worst of the world yet still believe in the power of happiness, friendships, and living in the moment. on the other hand, laura provides alison a sense of stability; really, they both would have each other's backs because they're loyal and supportive and also understand how chaotic and messy life can be. in a way, they're giving each other as well as themselves a chance they didn't know they needed – an opportunity for a new chapter, new beginnings.

what are your favorite things about the ship?

all of the jokes, memes, edits, and headcanons lia and i come up with for them !!

laura being the dad friend and alison being the mom friend of the group

their height difference - laura is 5'1" while alison is 5'11"

whenever gabby, laura's younger sister, is involved in the shenanigans <3 throw in melody, saberhagen, and jonathan (the pets), and their family is pretty much complete

whenever their friends, especially @tabithassmiths's tabitha smith and johnny smith, are their wing(wo)man!!

their playlist which currently has over 6.6k songs and is maybe nearly four hundred hours long

is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?:

it is hilariously written and captures the chaotic wlw inner turmoil so well. it's the way both of these characters are drop dead gorgeous yet they doubt themselves UGHH. also the way charlie does seem intimidating af but she's just so cute really. AND THE DAZZWOLVE ENERGY IS OFF THE CHARTS I CAN SEE THIS BEING LIKE THEIR COLLEGE AU

hey, hi, hello!

my name is sans and it is so nice to meet you.

i don't quite know what to exactly call this blog, but it's certainly somewhere i feel comfortable posting my ideas more freely — specifically, i'm a roleplayer with plenty of canon muses; with the obliteration of quotev's feed, this blog has become my new playground in a way.

hence i am very well aware that i am making shit up normally when i'm posting about canon characters; my rping portrayals are generally canon divergent, influenced by my personal headcanons as well as my roleplay and plots with my friends, who have their own personal interpretations too.

rest assured that i do understand and know quite a bit of canon lore, it's just that ... canon is my bitch ( *drew gooden voice* oh my gosh, she said the thing! she said what was in her bio! ) or less crudely a suggestion to me, it lays out the world to me and i expand on it; marie kondo's teachings really come in handy here, i let go of whatever doesn't spark joy.

i also do media rants and analysis as well edit and write from time to time; i'm not very good at them but i enjoy doing them regardless.

my current media-centric interests include (that i'm likely to talk about here! not a complete list)

amanda the adventure (mascot horror games in general), alison blaire, laura kinney, dazzwolve, barbie (2023), helbabs, helena bertinelli, helena wayne, gotham/batclan (very broad i know but!!!), plants vs zombies, shazamily, mary bromfield, theresa cassidy, lornaterry, spiderverse, the birds of prey, the x-terminators, harlivy, and more.

i also really love anya taylor-joy's movies!

organisation is not my strong suit so don't ask why, but i tend to post about dc comics on this account and marvel comics on my main. like any respectable scientific law, this has plenty of exceptions.

i love following my close friends, fellow quotevians, and on here, but anybody is more than welcome to follow me, really! i would love to meet new people and make friends! i follow back if i think we will vibe well.

i struggle with replying to messages and other stuff, i get overwhelmed, depressed, or burned out by life and i end up forgetting for a long while. this is always on my mind, your patience is always appreciated in this case
