What kind of computer did you get?

i ended up getting a lenovo flex! it seems like a pretty good machine so far, although there are a few annoying settings that seem unnecessary and difficult to turn off. (auto-dim in the evenings, for one. yuck.)

i actually had intended to stick with toshiba (that's what my last laptop was, and it lasted almost 4 years with heavy use), but the lenovo was so much more powerful that it won me over.

my best friend in the universe is my twin sister Clare

she is a super smart cookie and has pretty much the same taste in everything that i do so it's incredibly easy for us to get along

and we do bicker, but i can never see us truly falling out

gonna get mushy here instead of on facebook...

Every so often it hits me how blessed I am to have a community of friends at school, dozens of people who I watch out for and who are watching out for me in return.  They can tell when I'm tired and they can tell when I'm sad they'll sit there and listen to me rant and then remind me that'll be alright.  They'll take my side when I need support and tell me to suck it up when I'm being selfish or overdramatic and that's just really great and I'm glad I found this place where we all ended up together.  so yeah. mushy.
