I think it's really cool that my job, that basically requires hiking boots, does not pay me well enough for me to comfortably get a new pair of boots. This is Normal and Good.
#to be clear#i love most of my coworkers and would like to stay in touch with them#i have started giving myself breaks throughout the day because i dont want to come home too tired to do anything else#thats hard to do with the heat but im trying#im also leaving in about a month#however#i do not make enough money to comfortably buy a new pair of shoes#i can#but at the cost of not being able to save as much money#my shoes are literally falling apart and are held together by duct tape#if i didnt pay 560 in rent i would be crazy broke rn

sweaty post workout selfie + the incredible breakfast i had 😌
a new breakfast place opened up literally right beside my apartment building, today was their grand opening! so i hit the gym this morning, came home to shower, then walked right over and got breakfast :')

screaming crying rolling on the floor
#I have to do layman’s data recovery#nothing materially important luckily. only emotionally#sd on my switch threw an error a while ago (to me completely at random. I was playing a game and it crashed due to the sd error?)#and my switch didn’t recognize it after. tried again to day. no error finally#however none of the data on it could be accessed#found my adapter and tried googling my way through#tried several things with little success#the good news is that the sd isn’t totally broken.#and there appear to be ~560 files on it that might be recoverable#I’ll try again tomorrow. today. when it isn’t 3 am#eule personal#this is 2 years worth of game screenshots and videos btw.
