(Bouncing off of daxcat)Yeah I never saw it as romantic. More like the Mr.Darcy confession scene with Elizabeth. It's the best Mr.Darcy knew and it wasn't enough. So Elizabeth (or Rey in this case) was like, "yeah, try again..." And what makes it important (in my opinion) is that it's a catalyst for the relationship. Like in P&P, for the first time, we see Ben try to show an emotion other than anger. Is it romantic? Not really, but it's important and the beginning of something.

Side note: I saw it as a little sad because the way he talks to Rey seems like how Snoke talks to him. Which says a lot about what he knows about affection.

unpopular opinion but as a reylo i do not see the “you are nothing” line as romantic or anything that should be romanticized? it is something wrong, and kylo needs to learn how he was wrong in saying it.

Czara may be my fur baby but that doesn’t mean the other cats aren’t also little teddy bears. I had a week of recurring panic attacks in December and Dax stayed glued to me the entire time. Anytime I started panicking he’d run over purring and frequently sat on my chest while gently pawing at my face. So...after a bad mental health episode earlier today, Boy went off to work and told Dax-Cat to "take care of Mom for me". Dax has not left my side since 3:30 and refuses to let me out of his sight, even to eat. Animals are amazing.
