Fred Olen Ray’s 1988 Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers is a sort of comedy horror about a cult of chainsaw worshipping hookers and their leader played by Gunner Hanson ( leatherface from the Texas chainsaw massacre ) and also stars b movie queens Linnea Quigley and Michelle Bauer. There’s a dueling chainsaw between the 2 wonen . Jay Richardson plays a hard nose private eye who is a spoof of Humphrey Bogart in Maltese falcon. Another great b movie actress Dawn Wildsmith with a blonde wig in tbe beginning of the movie explaning how they use the chsinsaws on their customers. its not a great movie but i find it amusing especially since this is when Linnea Quigley was at the top of her game in the 1980s. I think the movie was unrated because of the frontal nudity and Gore shown . Which today would be an R Rating.

Deep Space (1988)
The unavailability of Deep Space during the 90’s left me conjuring imagery in my head of what the film might be like... and I was way off.

In the year 1991, understaffed police forces found themselves locked in gun battles as crime threatened to overwhelm America. As it appeared the police were in a losing battle, the public demanded change, so law enforcement became privately owned business, more akin to bounty hunters in the old west. Criminals were set with a price that would be collected by the officer who brought them in. The Miranda speech has been replaced with "... you have committed a crime. You are presumed guilty until proven innocent. You have a right to die. If you choose to relinquish that right, you will be placed under arrest and imprisoned." The New C.O.P.S. main uniform appears to be tank tops, sleeveless jean jackets and blue jeans. They appear to spend more time at the local strip club than the police station. The C.O.P.S. know of bounties either by the LED sign at HQ or the two way video monitors in their cars. For the most part all the technology seems the same as 1989. Probably the biggest exception is a power glove that was built specially for officer John Tucker, that gives augmented strength, shoots lasers, can fly, and work by remote control, but for some reason he almost never uses it. (Future Force, movie)
