First post of 2019. On Friday I took myself out on a hot date and went to the Royal Academy to check out their exhibit of Klimt and Schiele drawings from the Albertina Museum in Vienna. The complete mastery each of them had over line and contour is profound. These portraits are three of Schiele’s. Limited myself to 5 minutes for each study, then added the lettering, tone and red later on the train and then at home. Good to continually fill the inspiration battery like this. And I’m lucky as the RA is a ten minute walk from work. Sometimes, being alone is a good thing; not being lonely, but being by yourself. Alone time is good. As a matter of fact, I think it’s great. Great morning and happy #SelfCareSunday 😊. I woke up feeling like a complete optimist today ☺️. I opened my eyes able to see, I woke able to breathe, hear, talk, walk, read, bend, stretch, laugh, giggle and smile. I love Sunday Markets! The stalls, fabric shops, organic food, and old style cafés ☺️. Today I only engage and talk with those I want; only doing what I want to do.
