at this point i've said and heard stuff like this so much that hearing stuff like "his girlfriend" or "her boyfriend" is starting to get weird. like this dude. has a girlfriend. very normal. i didn't misspell anything. no you didn't misread anything. (or like mishear if you're like speaking)

i love hearing gay relationships mentioned so casually. “his husband,” “her girlfriend” said without it being a Thing, no one making it feel weird or abnormal. i know it shouldn’t be much to ask but still it just makes me happy. it reminds me that we can be ourselves and find happiness and acceptance 🩷

    Ok, I've been really into Monster Hunter lately, so you best believe I've been integrating my OCs into this universe. BUT this isn't one of my OCs xD

    This is Marc, my s/o's FFXIV OC, that they've allowed me to doodle in the MH world. I've thought about him being a Wyverian, a scholar of the Guild, travelling around the New World with the goal to simply just learn.

The reason Sans and Papyrus are the only options for each-other is because nobody they've tried dating has been okay with their brother coming first. They all think they'd be fine with it because sometimes family is family and all that, and they even get along well with both of them, but when faced with the reality of it, they can't take it.

(I use "they" to be ambiguous between both brothers way too much to also refer to the hypothetical datemate as "they" also, so I'll just use "you". Sorry lol)

Canceling plans because their brother had something come up (which wasn't even very important). Turning dates into hangouts because their brother wanted to come along. If it's not just the two of you, you aren't getting much attention. Even if it is, if there's a text or call from their brother, the phone's coming out. A good chunk of what you end up talking about during dates is their brother anyway. If money's tight around gyftmas, their brother is the one getting a gift. If asked who they love more, there's no dilemma, hesitation or thought: they always answer their brother's name. If you and their brother are in danger, it's their brother's side they run to.

You wonder to yourself if you can even call yourselves lovers. You feel like more of a third wheel to the brothers' relationship even as it's platonic.

The relationship ends as you angrily tell them they should just date each-other if there's no room for you.

They hear that a lot. Maybe they really should.

I would absolutely read an xReader/OC fic where it's literally just the reader/OC getting innocently cucked by whichever brother they aren't dating at every turn.

This one wasn't supposed to be one of them intentionally sabotaging the relationship, but sometimes I kinda like that too. "If I seriously told him you make me uncomfortable, he'd drop you in a heartbeat. He'll pick me. He'll always pick me." And he's right.

I have not had the time to really keep up w social media lately but I did enter V into @sonic-oc-showdown so I’m throwing together a post about him for anyone who hasn’t seen him before. Sege linked me a list of questions for an ask game so I’m going to answer those under the cut.

He also has a toyhouse page, which is a little out of date, but very lightly touches some darker topics (some medical and medical experimentation themes, mentions of drug use, mentions of trauma, violence and mental illness). V is a long-time comfort character which also means he has suffered so much bc that’s how we roll sometimes.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name? “Agent” bc he works for GUN, “VX” bc it’s the name of a nerve agent. It is also a subtle pun. You’re welcome.

🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range) Current-day V is 35 years old, but as a riftclaw he’d fall into the 18-21 age group (adult, still kinda dumb and impulsive).

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)? V is poly and is dating several people at once. He’s married to Caprice for legal reasons, but the whole of the polycule encompasses them and Curie, Valke and Luka, w V having a couple casual partners not involved in the main polycule (Atos [for now], Chad, Neura).

🍕 - What is their favorite food? V doesn’t really like to eat and kinda treats it as an unfortunate necessity of continuing to live.

💼 - What do they do for a living? V works for GUN in a weird in-between position; on paper he’s a field agent but he ends up doing multiple different jobs especially if there’s gaps that need filling. At the moment he’s acting medical examiner while they find someone qualified enough to handle the weirder cases that come through GUN’s HQ.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies? He buries himself in work a good 95% of the time but he sure loves to play minecraft. He’s banned himself from videogames bc he knows if he plays more than one he’ll never get anything done again.

🎯 -What do they do best? V’s main strength is that he’s stubborn as hell and willing to smack his head against something repeatedly until he wins. His whole side goal is developing a cure for a genetic illness that’s present in his clan and despite this seeming impossible he has been pushing his way through an insane amount of study while also holding down his GUN job in order to eventually do that.

🥊 -What do they love to do? What do they hate to do? He loves learning about new horrible poisons and diseases, which is one of his favourite pastimes. He also loves spending time w his datemates/packmates (two different things). He hates being told what to do so anything he’s being commanded to do is something he hates in that moment. Hilarious.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories? The first time he got to hold his son again after giving him up for adoption shortly after he was born. That Muna’s new parents wanted him to still have some kind of relationship with him was an unexpected joy for him.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories? There’s this whole 6-month period of his life where he was “working” for Glory he does not like to remember at all.

🧊 - Is their current design the first one? No but it’s still very close. The main changes were removing the spines on the tail and adding the big triangular eye markings.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC? Thorny devil lizards + horrible poisons I was reading about as a teen. Then I watched Repo! The Genetic Opera and you can probably see where I got his outfit from if you know anything about it.

🌂 - What genre do they belong in? Whatever genre you’d assign an edgier sonic game like SA2 or ShTH.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality? I call him genderfluid and alloaro (+ bi/pan) although he doesn’t really ID as either in-universe. His perception of his own gender tends to change a lot, and “he” is just the easiest pronoun to use when you work with humans a lot.

🙌 - How many sibling does your OC have? He was raised as an only child; he has a half-sister who lives in a different world and has adopted a few of his alternate selves + their siblings.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like? His relationships w his mum and grandpa (the parents who raised him) are quite positive; he visits them at least once a year during the big gathering the clan holds in June. His relationship with his father is terrible and he’s threatened to kill the guy at least twice.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC? This one is difficult to answer bc I’ve been rotating him constantly in my mind for 10+ years now. I like drawing him and writing about him and also thinking about what’s going on in his mind. Also I project a lot on him. That’s fun.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC? Extremely but I never finish writing. I draw him more than anyone else atm.

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC? No, bc it’s funny if the guy who doesn’t really wanna survive lives forever.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias? He has a general fear of losing his control of his self, which is specifically triggered by Glory’s mind control powers but applies more broadly to having his autonomy restricted.

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival? Glory is V’s biggest adversary and basically like, his end boss. He has a couple smaller opponents (couple guys in the UF military structure, Ossein) to go through first though.

🎓 - How long have you had the OC?/ 🍥 - What age were you when you created the OC? Since I was 17 or so, so about 16-17 years. We’re old!

Sure but this will be the last part of this series. You can request another Gianna x transformers but this series is now ending. (Since I am running out idea of how to keep the story going)

The autobots leave the groundbridge to a open field. There, across the field was the decpticons. Optimus went forward first to meet megatron half way.

Optimus: "Megatron."

Megatron: "Optimus."

Optimus: "I believe you know why we are here."

Megatron: "I do."

Optimus: "il ask the first questions, why are you interested in Gianna."

Megatron: "She reminds me of my old self. Simple."

Optimus: "......is it true you are courting them?"

Megatron: "no...but it wouldn't be off the table."

After a bit, megatron and optimus come to an agreement. Gianna is allowed to see the decpticons but need to let the autobots know in exchange, megatron can have them as long as possible as long as no harm comes to Gianna.

When optimus comes back and explains the new agreement. The rest of the autobots clearly wernt on board.

Arcee: "are you serious? This is obviously a trap. How do we know Gianna ain't sneaking information to them!"

Gianna: "Hey!"

Arcee: "shut it!"

Optimus: "arceez calm yourself. I see where you are worried but please remmber that if Gianna would be doing that. The decpticons would already be attacking us or hurt our other human allies."

Arcee: "even so, couldn't they just track Gianna back to base?"

Gianna: "oh, hello! Super arm girl over here! My arm will cancle any device on me that's not part of my arm or that I dident verify."

Arcee: "that dosent matter!"

Gianna: "oh, ya it does!"

Optimus: "enough, both of you. The decpticons are willing to bot hurt the humans and only focus on us autobots. Since megatron has grown fawn of Gianna."

Bulkhead: "so what they are like...datemates now?"

Gianna: "we aren't dating,"

Optimus: "that is somthing that I am not known but if so or no. They are willing to keep Gianna and the human children out of this war."

After the talk, the decptcons and autobots are more relaxed and Megatron was less mean to his forces. Even starscream.

This continues to be a routine for the autobots and decpticons. To the point each side actally tried not to hurt eachother. Eventually, when Shockwave and predaking came into the picture, everyone was happy.

Time passed and Gianna convinced megatron to surrender since the autobots and decpticons had the same goal when this war started. Make cybertronian fair and Equal. Megatron listened and told Gianna he would think about it.

2 months later and Megatron told her surrender since Gianna had changed his mind. He would accept his sentence and remain in jail but Gianna would vist him as much as she could.

Once megatron was freed, he would ask Gianna to be his date mate. Which she of corse said yes to.

Cybertron soon was restored to its formal glory again and everyone was equal.

All this was possible because of one human that never gave up. Through thick and thin.

Slumber party in the den, all their boys cuddled up with them. Or friend sleep over! That last one is harder to get Nightmare to agree to.

At first, very light. New locations, no brother, he is on high alert for trouble. Plus night terrors are common. But with someone he trusts and a safe place, he will become one of the HEAVIEST sleepers.
