this was drawn exactly three years ago. it made me really happy, even if it didnt look that good. it was the special message that mattered to me. i was so happy here, despite everything. i tried my best to preserve my innocence and continue a childhood during this time.

“Kusuo has no sense of privacy” is an underrated take
after all: he’s been under scrutiny his entire life- he grew up fighting with Kuusuke 24/7, and Kuusuke installed camera surveillance and FaceTime on all the TVs (including the one in his room.)
His mom is sweet but doesn’t strike me as the kind of person who understands how much space teenagers need. I think they both frequently pop in on Kusuo in his room unannounced. His grandma is the only one I’d expect to have a reasonable sense of privacy.
Also, his powers are so naturally invasive that he probably wouldn’t bat an eye at someone walking in on him in the bathroom or something.
Kusuo is used to checking in on (spying) on his friends and he hears their thoughts as a matter of course.

this is so funny to me actually bcuz this is 100% how i talk abt my characters ages. i know what YEAR they were born and i know what rheir ages are supposed to be at the start of the story but i dont actually know when it takes place?? im really bad at math. There was a moment where rainbow was supposed to be 23 and i somehow accidentally made her 17 lmfao
#theoretically it would take place in 2021 bcuz thats when i created my object ocs but the more time passes#the weirder it feels to have it take place years in the past#i considered moving up their birthdays by a few years but like. idk i like their birthdays theyre cute :3#bubblegum is SUPPOSED TO BE 15 and she was born july 2007#watermelon is supposed to be 7 and he was born june 2014#etc etc#starr is 27 and she was born september uhhh 1995 or 1997 i actually dont remember. whichever one makes sense#also that would mean building block was born in 2020 and since she's always gonna be a baby the furhter away we get#it means that she wouldnt have even been born when the story is actually supposed to take place. Like#i know their birthdays and their ages and what year they were born everybody else has to do the math#to figure out wtf is going on because I DONT KNOW#also that means that building block would be a pandemic baby lmao 😭#what was rhe vibe in nigeria in august 2020 during the pandemic. well i say that like it even happened in their universe#which there really isnt any reason for that to be true#it isnt historically important to mention like..... world war two or slavery or whatever. fucking obviously. in the context of objects#it gets messy so its better to just Not#also the months the characters were born really fuck me up bcuz jayden was born in late december#so for most of the first year that they met he would be.... younger than he actually is being born in 2003#but since building's block birthday and exact age is the most important timeline-wise#and she was born august 14th 2020 and she's seven months old when they first meet#then it canonically would take place in march 2021 which was my original intention#bcuz that is the actual date that i first created my object ocs#ANYWAY. boring character age ramblings#but its hard to keep track of so i dont even blame the author!!!! birthdays are weird and hard to keep up w/#when you dont know exactly when your story is supposed to take place#assuming its in a normal-ish world im sure fantasy ocs dont have this problem#txt#object ocs

What's your favorite in-game event you've done with Willow??
I've peaked with Willow like two years ago, when we celebrated our Christmas episode. /lh This story is absolutely ridiculous, but my lovely ST @sandracatharin is (not very active) on Tumblr and she I can force her to confirm that this is actually what took place.
So here goes nothing, Amsterdam by Night, the Christmas episode:
To set the stage, it's December 22 2020 in Amsterdam. There is no pandemic because why would there be a pandemic if we're playing Vampire to escape the pandemic. The Prince of Amsterdam is Adelheid, 10th generation Toreador and Willow's grandmother. Due to some problems caused by Lucas - the coterie Ventrue -, the location of Elysium has to be moved. There is a problem here, though, and that is the fact that Adelheid's Childe (and Willow's Sire) is stuck in torpor in the basement, and the Camarilla think he's dead. Because Lucas caused this move, Adelheid gives the coterie two days to move the body from Old Elysium, to the art gallery where Elysium is being moved to.
Since the coterie's on a time limit, they decide to split up. Lucas and Willow set out to the art gallery, Aminah (Brujah) and Arthur (Tremere) stay behind to help packing up Old Elysium. Lucas and Willow spend some time helping the Sheriff reorganise the archives in New Elysium, both groups peek in some files and learn some information. They reconvene at Old Elysium later that evening, where Willow is the one to reveal a truly ridiculous plan, that should by no means have worked as well as it did.
Her plan is as follows: It's December 22nd, so it's nearing Christmas. Willow at this point lives with her two best friends in an apartment, and one of them is obsessed with Christmas. Willow asks her to buy a massive fake Christmas tree for the occasion, with the intent of putting her Sire's body into the box and moving it that way.
Important things to note on December 23rd include the fact that Willow is dressed as a slutty Christmas Elf (art by @m4rloe5). She wakes up to a ginormous tree in her house, and the coterie comes together to move a body. Willow brings the Christmas tree box, Lucas has arranged for a car, Arthur at this point still worked for the Dutch Forensic Institute, so he arranges a body bag. They go to Old Elysium, but due to the corruption scandal there's journalists flocking around. One of them is persistent, but Willow is an apt liar and easily gets the journalist to leave them alone. The coterie brings their 'Christmas tree' to the basement of Old Elysium, the men struggle carrying Maarten in a box back up the stairs, but eventually they manage to get him back upstairs. When we're leaving with the Christmas tree, Jonathan (the doorman) is a bit confused as to why the fuck we're taking it with us again, but that's nothing he should be breaking his little head about.
They stuff the body into the nondescript van Lucas arranged for. Arthur has spent his time coding a holographic Christmas tree, so there's at least an actual tree in Adelheid's new office. At the New Elysium location, there's more press, and they're making a scene and also asking questions, but no one can ignore the style of a Toreador in a Christmas Elf outfit, so here, too, it's pretty easy to carry this box in. Willow bounces up to the Prince, who is in the midst of a conversation. She declares that they have a gift for her, and Adelheid indicates that her office is upstairs. This throws a wrench into the plan, since the idea was to get the body to the basement. The coterie is not swayed though, and they manage to carry Maarten's body in a cardboard box up to the Prince's office. There's no hidden room off this office, though, so it's not yet ideal, but hey, step whatever is finished! Arthur turns on the holographic Christmas tree he made, and Willow makes her way back to the main hall.
The Prince is still in conversation, Willow interrupts her again, this time to excitedly tell her she has a surprise for her up in her office, that Adelheid simply must come see right now. She agrees and follows Willow upstairs, and she's evidently surprised that Willow and her coterie managed to get this body moved, because by all means it should not have worked. She can't show that she's really pleased, but she mentions that there's an area in the basement here where they can easily stash a body. Lucas isn't particularly happy with this information, but hey, you gots to do what you gots to do, and when Adelheid leaves, they take Maarten's body to the basement. He gets stashed in a broom closet, the box gets placed in a storage room.
The coterie accomplishes this mission by sheer, dumb luck, but Adelheid states later that night that she's glad to see such creativity in her bloodline. There's more problems for the coterie on the horizon, but at this point, they're little baby ducklings who haven't seen shit in the world.

i just reaaaaally hope the special announcement isn't only the Pirate Warriors 4 DLC. I mean it'd be sick as HELL to play as The Silly and honestly I'll take any new scenes with him at this point, plus a PW panel is not specifically listed on the schedule in the description so that could be the SPECIAL LIVE section that's 30min right at the end OR it could be the Special Stage announcement described in the description which seems to share a time slot with the Bounty Rush panel buuuuut i really hope we get smth more than a DLC announcement for a game (and maybe gameplay?) also the announcement/trailer could just be slotted into the One Piece News Corner 1 or 2 because that also seems vague enough to fit a game DLC announcement. also why would they ruin the ~special announcement~ with a tweet 3 days ahead of the actual stream? personally i wouldn't do that myself but i'm trying to be realistic and just expect the DLC announcement and that's it.
honestly i was surprised about the announcement that PW4 is getting more DLC because I haven't heard anything about Odyssey. I haven't even beaten Odyssey to get to the existing DLC yet, but the point stands... maybe people didn't like Odyssey as much as PW4? I find Odyssey kinda dull gameplay-wise, so maybe that's why they're not... Idk tho I'm extraordinarily picky (I still think PW3 is better than PW4 and that's definitely not nostalgia speaking 😤) so maybe the general fanbase liked it... maybe we will get more Odyssey stuff and they just haven't announced it yet lol

Dramatic irony
What do you think will be the ultimate fate of Rob Lucci and the rest of the CP9 crew?
I don’t know. Being a part of CP0 they‘re still an antagonistic force but I doubt Luffy will face off against them again. Come of the movie content seems to be pittinh Lucci vs Sabo as more direct opponents, but unless Lucci got a major power boost that’s not exactly an equal fight

Things the Biden-Harris Administration Did This Week #36
September 27-October 4 2024
President Biden and Vice-President Harris have lead the federal response to Hurricane Helene. President Biden's leadership earned praise from the Republican Governors of South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia, as well as the Democratic Governor of North Carolina and local leaders. Thousands of federal workers are on the ground in effected communities having given out to date over 8 million meals, over 7 million letters of water. Both President Biden and Vice-President Harris have been on the ground in resent days meeting with effected families. During her trip to Georgia Vice-President Harris announced that the federal government will reimburse state and local government 100% of the costs from Hurricane Helene.
A strike by the International Longshoremen’s Association that briefly shut down ports on the East Cost and Gulf ended in a tentative deal. Both sides thanked Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su and Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg for helping push the deal through. President Biden and Vice-President Harris had expressed solidarity with the works when the strike was announced and President Biden directed Secretary Buttigieg to take the lead in pressuring management to make a deal with the Longshoremen. The ILA got a 62% raise as part of the agreement.
Vice President Harris announced new actions to help those struggling with medical debt. This actions include new standards from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau on debt collection. the CFPB plans on requiring debt collectors to confirm debts are valid and accurate before engaging in collection actions. As well as cracking down on debt collectors that collect on debt that is not owed by patients. Other actions included an announcement by the DoD that it was reducing pricing for civilians who get medical treatment at DoD hospitals and a track down on tax-exempt hospitals who are required by law to offer financial assistance but often do not. These steps come after Vice President Harris in June announced plans to remove medical debt from credit scores. Following the Vice President's call to action North Carolina moved forward a plan to eliminate medical debt for 2 million people in the state. President Biden's American Rescue Plan funds have been used by state and local Democrats to eliminate $7 billion dollars in medical debt.
The Department of Transportation announced $62 Billion in infrastructure funding for 2025. Thanks to the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law passed by President Biden this will be $18 billion dollars more than was spent in 2021. The Biden-Harris Admin has helped support over 60,000 infrastructure projects across all 50 states, rebuilding roads and bridges, breaking ground on America's first high speed rail, updating ports and airports, and breaking high speed internet to rural communities.
The Department of Transportation announced $1 Billion dollars of investment in America's passenger rail future. This comes on top of $8.2 billion in investments announced in December 2023. The funds will help expand and modernize intercity passenger rail nationwide.
The Departments of Energy and Agriculture announced a $2.8 billion joint project to bring 100% carbon pollution-free energy to the rural midwest. The DoE is investing $1.5 billion into helping bring the Palisades Nuclear Plant in Michigan back on-line. Shut down in 2022 plans to refit and reopen it to allow the plant to keep generating clean energy till 2051. Once back online the Palisades Nuclear Plant will help stop an anticipated 4.47 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions a year, or 111 million metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions over its lifetime. The USDA is investing $1.3 billion in two rural electric cooperatives, Wolverine Power Cooperative and Hoosier Energy, which cover rural communities in Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. This investment will help Wolverine and Hoosier connect to the Palisades Plant, reduce prices for customers, and reduce climate pollution, putting Wolverine Power on the path to be 100 percent carbon-free energy before 2030.
The Treasury and the IRS announced that 30 million Americans, across 24 states will qualify for free direct filing of their taxes in 2025. The IRS says that the average American spends $270 dollars and 13 hours filing their taxes. Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, passed by President Biden with Vice President Harris' tie breaking vote, Americans will be able to file their taxes quickly and for free directly with the IRS. Tax payers in Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, Wisconsin, and Wyoming will in 2025 be able to use direct file.
The USDA announced $7.7 billion in funding for Climate-Smart Practices on Agricultural Lands. This represents the single biggest investment in these programs in USDA history. Since implementation began in 2023 this conservation assistance has helped over 28,500 farmers and ranchers apply conservation to 361 million acres of land.
The Department of Energy announced $1.5 billion in investments in transmission infrastructure to help ensure our grid is reliable and resilient. This will help support nearly 1,000 miles of new transmission lines across Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. These lines will bring 7,100 MW of new capacity and create 9,000 good paying union jobs. Studies find to keep up with growth and meet our climate goals of carbon free energy the US will need to triple the 2020 transmission capacity by 2050. This is an important step to meeting that goal.
